I want to pray and join hands with everyone who desires to change their life for the better as I pray I hope that the holy spirit will move through this message in prayer touching your hearts and helping you feel the presence of Jesus Christ my wish is that the Lord blesses this prayer so it reaches Open Hearts and Minds the Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their Wicked Ways then I will hear from heaven and
will forgive their sins and heal their land the Bible is guiding us to Humble ourselves because we need to reach a place where we are willing to serve wholeheartedly to serve Jesus Christ to serve the body of Christ and to serve his kingdom it's about putting others before ourselves and embracing a servant's heart next the Bible tells us to pray and seek God's face Psalm 42:1 beautifully says as a deer pants for flowing streams so pants my soul for you oh God this verse shows the Deep longing and yearning for God that should reside in
our hearts the Lord wants his children not only to pray but to genuinely seek his presence this means that we shouldn't just approach him with a list of requests instead we should take time to commune with him to build a meaningful relationship with him God desires our fellowship Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you God wants us to prioritize seeking him above all else when we put him first everything else falls into place now the third point is that we
should turn from our Wicked Ways our God is Holy and he calls us to live differently from the world meaning we should not participate in the sinful practices around us we need to turn away from these wrongdoings now the Bible also tells us in 1 Peter 2: 21 to this you were called because Christ suffered for you leaving you an example that you should follow in his steps this means that Christ's suffering and the way he lived serve as a model for us to follow as Christians we are called to walk in his footsteps for
us this means that being a follower of Christ involves self-denial and putting aside our selfish desires it means being ready to face challenges and hardships daily always trusting in Jesus and living according to his example following Christ is about a deep commitment to live as he lived even if it means enduring suffering or facing great difficulties because of our faith in him this is what it means to truly follow in his steps now let us pray together our dear heavenly father all glory belongs to you and all the honor belongs to you we come before
you in prayer because we are in desperate need of you we need your presence your guidance and your infinite love and grace to fill our lives help us Lord to serve For Your Glory Grant us the strength and the resolve to take up our cross daily forsaking the fleeting pleasures and distractions of this world Master let our hearts be filled with the fear of the Lord so we may pursue you above all else we acknowledge that without you we are lost and directionless King Jesus we are looking to you for direction in our lives we
seek your wisdom and counsel in every decision we make refusing to lean on our own understanding instead we choose to lean on you father trusting in your perfect plan for us in all that we do grant us an attitude of humility teach us to have a servant's heart always ready to serve others with love and compassion may I decrease Lord as the glory of the Lord increases let the name of Jesus be lifted higher and higher through my words and actions help me to live a life that reflects your love and grace drawing others closer
to you father guide me to find my pride and joy in you alone teach me to avoid boasting about the talents and Gifts you have blessed me with instead let my soul find its greatest satisfaction in you King Jesus in our moments of weakness let us boast of your Incredible strength through our trials and difficulties let us Proclaim your saving power even when we lack worldly possessions let us take pride in Your Divine provision father in everything we do let our hearts and voices continually boast only in you not in other people not in our
own abilities or resources but solely in you our God help us to remember that you are the source of all good things and let our lives be a testament to your greatness and love may our confidence and our praise always be directed towards you as we recognize that all we have and all we are is because of you I pray that you would help us to always be steadfast unwavering and firmly rooted in you guide us to continually abound in the work of the Lord dedicating ourselves fully to your service let every action I take
be for your glory and not for my own recognition help me to perform Good Deeds not to be seen or praised by others but to please you bring glory to your name and Lead others towards your goodness father I seek your forgiveness for any time I have sought the approval of people over your approval although my sinful nature May sometimes desire the admiration and Applause of others teach me to crucify these desires and to humble myself before you you alone deserve the highest praise and honor thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name I
