long ago in the land of Egypt where the Nile River flowed and the Pharaohs ruled like Gods a remarkable story took place this is the story of Moses a humble Shepherd chosen by God and the 10 plagues that struck Egypt leading to a dramatic Showdown That Changed History [Music] forever the sun was set over the midianite desert casting Long Shadows on the sand Moses an old Shepherd was taking care of his sheep as Moses LED his sheep to a spring he saw something strange a bush on fire but it wasn't burning up he got closer
and a voice called out Moses mes because you are standing on ho ground I am the god of your ancestors and you have been chosen to free the Israelites from slavy in Egypt why me how can I go to pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt I will be with you Moses was still unsure but he agreed with God's promise and a special staff he set out for Egypt feeling the weight of his mission Moses and his brother Aaron stood before Pharaoh's Grand Palace Pharaoh sitting on his throne looked at them with curiosity and
pride he asked who are you and what do you want I am Moses and the god of Israel says let my people go so they can worship me in the wilderness who is this God that I should listen to him and let Israel go I don't know this God and I will not let israa go Moses held up his staff and it turned into a snake hissing on the floor Pharaoh's magicians did the same with their staffs but Moses snake ate theirs pharaoh was not impressed he sent Moses away and told his workers to make
the Israelites work even harder the Israelites suffered more and they cried out to Moses who then prayed to God God answered with a series of terrible plagues first he turned the Nile River into blood the fish died and the river stank the people were horrified Pharaoh called for Moses and said pray to your God to cleanse the water and I will let your people go to worship Him Moses prayed and the water came back to normal but after it was done pharaoh changed his mind and refused to let the people go then came more plagues
frogs gnats flies sick animals and painful Soares each time Pharaoh promised to let the Israelites go but when the plague ended he changed his mind Moses stayed strong but Egypt was suffering the plagues got worse hail destroyed crops and locusts ate everything that was left Egypt was in Ruins and the people begged pharaoh to let the Israelites go but Pharaoh's Pride kept him from giving in the ninth plague was Darkness for 3 Days Egypt was covered in darkness but in the land of Goan where the Israelites lived there was light pharaoh Called Moses again desperate
but after that passed he still did not let the people go now the 10th plague was near Moses told the Israelites to put a lamb's blood on their doorposts so that when God sees the blood he will pass over their houses and no harm will come to them at midnight a terrible cry Rose from Egypt the angel of death had passed through killing the firstborn in every Egyptian house only the Israelites were spared Pharaoh filled with grief and anger called for Moses and Aaron in the middle of the night and said go and worship your
God take your flocks and hers go leave the Israelites left quickly and hurried towards the Red Sea Pharaoh's sadness turned to rage once more he sent his army to chase after the Israelites the Israelites still still camped by the Red Sea feeling trapped saw Pharaoh's Army coming and were very afraid they cried out to Moses Moses prayed to God stretched out his hand over the sea and a strong wind parted the waters the Israelites crossed on dry ground with walls of water on both sides the Egyptian soldiers chased them into the sea but once the
Israelites were safe on the other side Moses stretched out his hand again the waters rushed back drowning Pharaoh's entire Army the Israelites were free and they sang and danced praising God for their deliverance and so the story of Moses and the 10 plagues is remembered Through the Ages it teaches us about faith resilience and the promise of Freedom even in the darkest times there is hope and deliverance [Music]
