India just landed on the moon with a Lander and a Rover from a mission named Chandra Yan III this is a huge deal not only because it makes India the fourth Nation to successfully soft land a spacecraft on the moon but also because of the mission itself they specifically landed on the moon's South Pole which has been unexplored until now why the South Pole one of India's previous lunar orbiters helped confirm the presence of water in the icy craters on the South Pole of the Moon depending on what they find this could have huge implications
for future human missions by using water as fuel or oxygen or drinking water to explore these craters China Dragon 3 has started a two-week mission where it's going to take thermal seismic and mineralogical measurements this is the first of many missions that India's space organization has planned and hopefully this Mission will teach us more about what's really on the moon that we could use there and elsewhere I can't wait to see what they find if you like optimistic Science and Tech stories fall out for more
