Previously in "Wonder Woman" Wonder Woman fought in World War II and defeated the villain. She dated Chris Pine for a week and then he died. BAM!
Now, 60 years later, her adventures continue. So today at "Summing It Up". .
. "Wonder Woman 1984. " It all starts with a little Wonder Woman competing in an Olympics in the world of the amanzonas.
She is a child and competes against adults. And the competition is very tough. Start!
The Pueyrredón Classic. On the inside, No. 1 Lloyds takes the lead.
A small lead for No. 3 Tripoli Giant. Is gaining ground.
For the first time the competitors will pass in front of the disc. The 2500 meter demarcation post will be discounted. No.
1 Lloyds continues to gain ground. They are the competitors of the Pueyrredón Classic. They pass the demarcation post.
600 meters to the disc. At the forefront No. 5 Giacom.
Small advantage over No. 6 Comical running on the inside. 300 meter race!
No. 6 Comical open, No. 5 Giacom.
. . Head to head!
They lead the first place! Where do you think you're going, young lady? Yes, Wonder Woman was about to win but Jenny from "Forrest Gump" tells her she can't win because she cheated.
And you can't win by cheating or taking shortcuts. "Fuck off" the girl says "Don't be like that, I'm 8 years old". Now the story moves to Washington in the 1980s.
What has Wonder Woman been doing all these years? We don't know. What did she do during World War II?
We don't know. What did she do during the Vietnam War? We don't know.
What did she do when Lennon was killed? We don't know. What we do know is that in 1984 she saves the life of this lady who runs and this lady who almost falls into the water, arrests some thugs and winks at this girl.
But, what Wonder Woman does most of all is remember Chris Pine. Because even though they only dated for a week and 60 years have passed, she still thinks about him. In 60 years she met no one, NO ONE, more important than Chris Pine.
As Aventura would say, that's not love, what you feel is called obsession. An illusion in your thoughts, which makes you do things. That's how the heart works.
Things get complicated when the villain of this story appears. A stone. A stone that grants you wishes.
At first they don't think it's true. Until this bearded man asks jokingly for a coffee. And, believe it or not, they bring him a coffee.
Then Wonder Woman thinks, "Mmm, this stone really works. I'm going to make a wish. " And what does she wish for?
Obviously, for Chris Pine to be resurrected. And, believe it or not, he resurrects. Well, he doesn't resurrect.
His soul or his consciousness appears in this guy's body. He is a stranger with Chris Pine's soul. But, thanks to a cinematic trick, we see Chris Pine.
Then they start dating again and. . .
Remember that in the previous movie there were many funny scenes when Wonder Woman arrived in the world of humans and didn't know anything? Well, here they will do something similar with Chris Pine. The guy from the 1920s who doesn't understand anything about the 1980s!
So they have a great time together. And Wonder Woman never thinks that if the stone really works and falls into the wrong hands it can make disasters. And, believe it or not, it falls into the wrong hands.
And, believe it or not again, it makes disasters. First it's grabbed by this girl, a co-worker of Diana's who admires her a lot. Then she uses the stone to wish to be like her.
She doesn't know that she's Wonder Woman, she just wants to be pretty and respected like Diana. But, she starts to have powers. And then Pedro Pascal grabs it.
He is an oil businessman who did badly in some business dealings, so he looks for the stone to improve his situation. He gets the stone and instead of asking to be a millionaire, or to do well or. .
. I don't know, to be the king of the world, he asks for this. .
. Yes, he asks to be the stone. And this could have ended very badly because he could have turned to stone.
Luckily the stone knows it's in a movie and does something more interesting, it gives him his powers. Now Pedro Pascal can fulfill wishes. That could make him a good person, but it doesn't.
Cause there's something about the stone that I didn't explain. The stone grants you a wish but takes something away from you. It granted Diana's wish to bring Chris Pine back, but it's slowly taking away her powers.
It fulfilled the girl's wish but gradually took away her kindness. It fulfilled Pascal's wish but is slowly taking away his health. I wonder what the stone took from the bearded man who got the coffee.
Surely that story is more interesting than the one we are seeing. Well, I take this opportunity to make a wish to Pedro Pascal. I ask that people subscribe to the channel, like the video and follow me on Instagram and follow me on Twitter.
Thank you Pedro Pascal! Then Pedro Pascal forces people to make wishes so he can take something away from them. And he takes things away, of course.
From this guy he takes away his business, from this guy he takes away the guards. And so, little by little, he conquers the world. Very stilted!
VITAL FACT To make a wish you must be in contact with Pedro Pascal, otherwise you cannot. ANOTHER VITAL FACT Wonder Woman learned to make things invisible. Unfortunately she forgets this in "Batman vs.
Superman" and "Justice League". END OF VITAL FACTS As his health deteriorates, Pedro has to grant people's wishes in order to steal some of their health. And so everything gets out of hand because everyone asks for anything.
Peter reaches the president of the United States and he asks him for more missiles to attack the Soviet Union. And here, the film, which had already been stumbling, ends up falling and hits its teeth against the floor. Because at this moment, in the oval office there are some graphics showing a satellite project to broadcast live around the world.
And the president explains it to Pedro Pascal using the right words to move the film forward. So, if he broadcasts live it's as if he touches people. So he can fulfill their wishes.
And so he becomes more powerful and everything goes to hell! People do what they want and the Yankee president is about to bomb the Soviet Union! And the Soviet Union is about to bomb the United States!
This is terrible! Meanwhile Wonder Woman and Chris Pine were doing some research and discovered that if you say out loud "I renounce my wish" everything is reversed. "Wonder Woman" must get Pedro Pascal and everyone else to say that to get the situation back to normal.
But to fulfill that mission she must regain her powers. And there's only one way. She must resign Chris Pine.
And Chris Pine says, "That's enough Diana, that's it. It's been 60 years, get me out of your head. Besides I'm taking over the body of a guy who has his own life, let's not be selfish.
" Then Diana renounces Chris Pine and understands that that's not love, it's an obsession. Ooh. .
. That's not love What you feel is called obsession From there she leaves swinging from a tower, an airplane, a cloud and a lightning. And she arrives at Pedro Pascal's lair.
She has armor similar to that of the Knights of the Zodiac because it is the armor of a very powerful Amazon who no longer exists. There she meets the blonde who is now a cat because she asked Pedro Pascal for it. There they meet to have the super final battle.
Wonder Woman vs. Cat Woman. Wonder Woman wins and goes to confront Pedro Pascal who is in a wish-fulfillment trance.
The world is going to hell. The US launches missiles, the Soviet Union launches missiles. The world is about to explode.
Wonder Woman then wraps the Lasso of Truth around Peter Pascal's leg so that she can speak to the whole world. Like Goku facing Majin Boo. So she tells everything she learned from Jenny when she was a girl.
You can't win by cheating and taking shortcuts. And everyone renounces their wish. The missiles are destroyed and Pedro Pascal also renounces his wish and reunites with his son who was wandering around.
And so Wonder Woman saves the world. A world that was on the verge of destruction, where the US and the USSR were about to bomb each other. But that will never be mentioned in either "Batman Vs.
Superman" or "Justice League". This never happened, ok? And no one will ever mention it again.
. . under penalty of torture.
The thing is, everything goes back to normal and it looks like Wonder Woman falls in love with another guy. Yeah, that's the guy who had Pine in. This girl doesn't learn.
Ooh. . .
That's not love. . .
But, what about this guy? He doesn't know what happened the last few days. He went to sleep and woke up in the street in the middle of a world chaos.
. . What about this guy?
Will Diana tell him the truth? And what happened to this guy? What did he lose for the coffee?
Did he renounce his wish? Did he vomit the coffee? All these questions will never, ever, EVER get an answer, ok?
Ok, Lampy! The film ends with the Amazon warrior I mentioned earlier. She seems to be alive and living in the US.
And she is played by none other than the great Linda Carter, the original Wonder Woman. This was the "Wonder Woman 1984" summary. Here are a few other DC movies for you to check out.
