me cat Snoopy a blank canvas may I O me [Music] next I'm going to write about the day I pitched a no hitter wasn't that the day the other team didn't show up I'm going to write about when I went to the lake and caught a 10 lb northern pike well it felt like 10 lb I didn't have a scale is something wrong sir everyone has something interesting to write about what about you Marcy I'm going to write about how this was the summer I got over my fear of riding a horse [Music] we everyone
loves a story of personal Triumph even if I knew what to write about I never know how to get started why does writing have to be so hard don't worry sir I think I know someone who can help you want me to talk to Snoopy of course he's a writer pardon us Snoopy I hope we're not interrupting anything it's just that petricia here needs help with her writing assignment what I did over my summer vacation and since you're such a distinguished author I thought you might like to help a young writer who looks up to
you so much isn't that right sir ow uh sure I just have a few questions about writing like how do you start how do you end and what do you put in the middle this is what I have so far how how exciting sir you've been invited to join a writers group I'll give you a [Music] boost maybe you should tell Snoopy what you did over the summer break it may inspire a few ideas hm well I watched a lot of TV played baseball and red comics [Music] it was a dark and stormy night hey
I don't remember any dark and stormy nights don't disturb the creative process sir sorry go on it was a dark and stormy night I was watching TV when suddenly I heard a knock at the door I opened it to find the world famous baseball manager that's when he said something I'll never forget he was calling me up to the big leagues before I knew it I was in the show the score was tied with two out and nobody on base that's when the skipper gave me the signal [Music] the first pitch was high the second
Pitch was low and inside the third pitch was right in The Sweet Spot It was the longest home run anyone hit that summer Legend has it the ball is still in the air that's a great story Snoopy you really captured my love of baseball and watching TV but I could never write anything like that you never know until you give it a try [Music] H H you've got this it was a dark and stormy night now what right what you feel sir I feel nervous I think I need a warmup before I start my assignment
what do you say we write the next one together you start maybe it could be about this o it was a dark and stormy night there I was reading comics minding my own business ha suddenly there was a knock at the door at this hour I thought to myself when I opened it I was shocked to discover a world famous attorney no a tennis player nope Disco Dancer come on astronaut no the Mast Marvel now we're talking I'll take it from here he was in need of a partner someone who could keep up with him
someone who could jump tall buildings and save the world from those who seek to destroy [Music] it my heroes the end how do you feel about doing your writing assignment now I feel great thank you Snoopy I think I could get into this writing thing I'll make sure she returns the typewriter boom crash Bang there it was a giant ice monster threatening to freeze the neighborhood but using my super heat ray vision I melted him like an ice cream cone on a hot day and that's how I Spent My Summer Vacation Bravo sir a tale
well [Music] told you ready for a little one-on-one Franklin you bet oh uh sorry Snoopy three players make for an odd game of oneon-one you can be the referee it's an important job you uphold the rules and settle disputes plus if you think about it nobody wins without a ref [Music] you're a natural-born ref Snoopy that was our fairest game yet I barely remember who won I did let's hear it for the ref I cut mine diagonally makes it easier to dip in ketchup not necessarily I couldn't help over here my feeling is why cut
her full the sandwich at all all just grab the little thing and enjoy e you're you got you you're all forgetting the most important part cutting off the crusts the crust that's the best part I like mine cutting to lady fingers like at high tea I'm a fan of the classic center cup myself finally someone else with good sense that way you get one rounded off piece and one squared off piece what philistin you got it all wrong monster monster come on ref who's right come on lay down the [Music] law this has nothing to
do with me does it we've been arguing proper sandwich cutting technique and have asked Snoopy to referee I [Music] see huh I guess we did get a little carried away that said it's never a good idea to leave a plate of sandwiches with a hungry beagle our sandwiches to be fair that does come to solve our dilemma G all right let's just order a pizza good idea cheese on I have a very important favor to ask Chuck as an assignment for Su school I need to interview someone interesting I never thought not you Chuck Snoopy
Snoopy I'd like to interview you for my homework assignment what do you [Music] say I'll mark that down as a yes see you Chuck thanks for agreeing to the interview Snoopy for first question where were you born oh wait Chuck told me this one Daisy Hill Farms right this is going to be easier than I [Music] thought I'm worried about Patricia she always gets a D minus in class and I'm fairly sure interviewing Snoopy won't help raise her grade Snoopy may be interesting but he's not much of a conversational [Music] IST what about food any
favorites [Music] Classic this interview is going even better than I expected let's discuss travel have you been many [Music] places if you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go Hawaii or maybe the top of Mount Everest or perhaps an underground cave full of crystals perhaps Branson City Missouri or wala wala Washington well I can't think of anywhere [Music] else of course the [Music] beach would you you say surfing is one of your favorite sports Marcy says surfing is more of a lifestyle than it is a sport I don't know what that means
but agree or disagree a few more followup questions have you tried surfing on four feet is it easier harder any advice for firsttime Surfers I've always felt surfing was more of a lifestyle than it is a sport you think Peppermint Patty is learning anything from Snoopy I'm afraid not Charles it's hard to do an interview when your subject can't answer questions last question what are you do to relax a day at the spa of [Music] [Music] course thanks for the interview Snoopy you've given me a lot of great material this is sure to get me

see the comet Marcy sure am sir did you know that comets travel over 2,000 mph and when comets get closer to the Sun they could travel up to 100,000 mph H it's like being stuck in a science sandwich impressive that was great unbelievable amazing I'm so glad 3 2 1 in my [Music] class brother [Music] you want a fair and square great game [Music] kid no one likes a show off Snoopy we get it you won you don't have to rub it in I've heard of sore losers but that beagle is a sore winner a
big old show off it's a game Chuck games are supposed to be fun all that winning has gone straight to Snoopy's head where's the Grayson Victory the simple respect for one's opponent what are you going to do about it big brother yeah so much for marbles ever being fun again I can do this it's just a classic case of a boy versus his own dog a simp childhood Joy ruined [Music] forever this game is so thrilling I could scream it all comes down to this last shot if Charlie Brown makes it he wins he did
it the side swiper rats also has a downside um sir looks like you can use a hand kid I think he was trying to open the toy sir Oh I thought we were playing fetch [Music] I can't wait to get in there and ride the roller coaster it's the most fun you can have while also being terrified I like the bumper cars where else can you smash into your best friend and not get in trouble I'm more of a ferris wheel person myself sitting up wow it's even better than the poster said it would be
there's no better pairing than kids in a carnival roller coaster Dead Ahead ooh you still up for it [Music] Snoopy that was amazing a fun to the fun house yeah now we got some good advice bumper [Music] cars he was too small to get on any of the big rides he is a silly beagle but you can't help but feel sorry for him yep I feel for the kid if only there was a way to make it up to him step right up for the world's greatest piggyback ride wee I'm outside my comfort [Music] zone
my hero is my dad what can I do to be more like him pretty neat h Marcy my dad's going to think he's looking in a mirror but your dad doesn't have a mustache [Music] sir Marcy why did Snoopy advise you to wear that ridiculous mustache my upper lip was cold Snoopy's giving bad advice wearing a fake mustache won't solve your problems actually my dad said I didn't need a mustache to be his rare gem you know my lip doesn't feel much warmer I'm not sure it's really me mine's really itchy mine won't even stay
on I did definitely agreed yeah that's good advice who's in for a little pickup [Music] game and four and five and six seven knees up back straight jumping jack come on everyone how about a little enthusiasm and up and down and up and down and up and touch those [Music] toes that's more like it feel the burn and stretch get those hips moving [Music] wao nice moves [Music] kid fascinating [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] sorry it took so long I was pouring hot chocolate where did everyone go want to come inside and warm
up [Music] Patricia and I are doing our favorite thing on Christmas Eve baking holiday cookies it's a delicious tradition check it out Snoopy [Music] oh I've already made one that looks like a Christmas Bell here it is ringing in the Sounds of the Season ding dong mine looks like um a festive football and this one is a Christmas [Music] star I think I see Santa coming from to North we better get home so we're asleep by the time he gets here good idea Franklin Merry Christmas Merry Christmas [Music] Marcy look at that turnout they must
be especially magical this is the same Santa's Workshop as last year how about a little effort store people this is one of my favorites [Applause] [Music] The Nutcracker again they had this last year too well it is a holiday classic haven't they ever heard of a Twist on a classic a modern flourish a bold reimagining Same Old Winter landscape more like a winter landscape see what I did there I think it's nice doing things the same way can be comforting that's why we have holiday traditions there's a difference between tradition and syndication who wants to
look at the same boring thing every year I must be getting too old for holiday Traditions maybe it's part of the display perhaps it's supposed to be a partridge in a pear tree it's not seven swans of swimming I'll tell you that much [Music] WoW uh Charlie Brown oh I can't believe my [Music] eyes Snoopy what are you doing in there Snoopy Snoopy hurry if you don't come out you'll be trapped in there all night [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] y way to go you kid Snoopy you have to
