before we pray let's listen to God's word and then we'll pray together Psalm 46:10 be still and know that I am God I will be exalted among the Nations I will be exalted in the earth there is something incredibly special about being still and I truly believe this verse is inviting us to pause and rest in the presence of God when we hear the words be still and know that I am God it's like a gentle reminder from our loving Creator to stop everything we are doing it's as though God is telling us to set
aside all of our distractions all of our worries and all of the things that weigh heavy on our hearts he is asking us to let go to take a deep breath and to Simply trust in his care when you stop and think about it being Still In God's Presence isn't just a physical of resting it's a state of the heart it's about letting go of our need to control things and surrendering to God's plan trusting that he is working even when we cannot see it it's about quieting the noise around us and the anxieties within
us so that we can hear his voice more clearly in these moments of Stillness we are drawn closer to him and our faith deepens as we begin to recognize just how near he is let us take a moment to pray together dear Lord you are the one who makes every crooked path straight and brings order to chaos you are the God who can move mountains both the physical and the spiritual ones there is nothing too big or too difficult for you when I think of all you are capable of I'm filled with awe and wonder
you are the Almighty and you alone are worthy of all honor glory and praise as your word says in Isaiah 45: 22 and 23 look to me and be saved all the ends of the Earth for I am God and there is no other I have sworn by myself the word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness and shall not return to me every knee shall bow every tongue shall take an oath Lord you stand firm on your promises and I know that one day all people will bow before you in worship and reverence
there is no one else who holds such power and Grace you are truly the one and only god father I am looking to you today I Fix My Eyes on You Jesus because only you can transform my life I come to you Jesus because you are the savior of my soul the one who redeems and restores no one else can save me or change me me the way you can no one else can fill the emptiness inside me or bring peace to the storm in my heart you are my redeemer my Messiah my Lord there
is none like you father you stand above all creation the beauty of the Earth the vastness of the heavens none of it compares to your greatness your love is beyond anything I can fully understand and your mercy is endless when I feel lost I know that you are there guiding me back to you when I feel unworthy I remember that you have called me your own there is no one like you please Lord help me to be still and recognize that you alone are God in the midst of all the noise and Chaos of life
I want to quiet my heart and focus on you teach me Lord to set aside time to be with you to listen for your voice in the illness let it become my deepest desire to spend time alone with you each day not out of obligation but out of love and longing for your presence the world around me moves so fast and it can be hard to slow down but I know that time with you is the most important thing holy spirit guide me in this help me to create space in my life for prayer and
for reading God's word even when my days are busy help me to make these things a priority because I know that without them I cannot grow Closer to You Lord don't let the busyness of Life take control of me remind me daily that my relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in my life it's what grounds me what sustains me and what fills my heart with peace Holy Spirit I need you now more than ever I ask that you never give up on me even when I fall short even when I drift away don't
stop convicting me when I go astray and don't stop pulling me back toward the lord when I get lost keep drawing me closer to Jesus keep reminding me of his love and his truth help me to set my eyes and my heart on the things of Heaven not on the temporary things of this world in John 14:16 your word promises that you will send a helper the Holy Spirit to be with us forever I am so thankful for that promise Lord I thankful that I don't have to do this on my own so Holy Spirit
I ask you to help me now lead me into God's presence each and every day give me the strength and the discipline to seek him to make time for him to put him first in my life and when I Stumble remind me that you are always there to lift me up and guide me back your word in 1 Peter 2: 1:3 tells us to put aside all malice deceit hypocrisy envy and slander and instead to long for the pure spiritual milk of your word so that we may grow up into salvation just like a baby
craves milk I want to Crave Your Truth I want to desire your word above all else I want to grow stronger in my faith and in my walk with you Lord I know that growth takes time but I am willing to be patient to trust that you are at work in me even when I can't see it holy spirit I pray that you would help me to grow spiritually help me to understand more about God's heart his love and his ways I want to grow deeper in my relationship with him to become more like Jesus
in everything I do help me to lay down the things that are holding me back the things that keep me from fully surrendering to you help me to mature in my faith to become the person you have called me to be every day Lord I want to grow in my knowledge of you I want to know you more to understand your ways and to live according to your word help me to meditate on your truth to let it sink deep into my heart as Psalm 119:25 says my soul clings to the dust revive me according
to your word Lord I ask you to revive me revive my spirit when I feel weary and burdened refresh my soul when I feel dry and distant from you give me a renewed desire to chase after you to seek you with all my heart help me to be alert and sensitive to your presence King Jesus let me never become complacent in my faith but always striving to grow closer to you Lamentations 3:25 tells us the Lord is good to those who wait for him to the soul who seeks him Lord I will wait on you
I will wait with an expectant heart trusting that you are working in my life even when I cannot see it I will seek you every day believing that you are with me guiding me and preparing me for what lies ahead Holy Spirit I pray that you would ignite a fire in my heart for the things of God let that fire burn brightly filling me with passion and Zeal for Jesus Christ you Lord are the king of my heart there is nothing and no one more important than you I want my life to reflect that truth
