He makes plenty money! I have a best friend here who is Indian. Your best friend is Indian?
Yeah! Sia is meeting her family. They are so happy meeting after 1.
5 years. Sierra Leone is where we're going & is popular for mining. Blood Diamond movie is made on that country's mining.
Welcome from a new video from Brussels, the capital of Belgium, a country in Europe. You saw yesterday I wanted to go to Sierra Leone but my flight got canceled so I had no option but to stay here. I came here from Zurich.
I am in their city center right now & my Uber is also here. I am going to the airport to catch my flight. Let's go!
I was in Morocco two months ago but tonight I am going to Casablanca. Transit! Just transit!
I'll be at the airport & then I'll go to Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone! Sierra Leone, yeah!
Yes, I see. Yeah! Morocco is nice.
I like your food. Tajine. .
. it is really nice! I like your Tajine.
So, I got in the taxi to go to the airport in Brussels and Abdel Qadar came to pick me, who is from Morocco. Yes! He is him and I started talking to him.
Like I told you, its such a small country and as I keep travelling I make friends as you saw yesterday too. He is from Morocco, & I started talking to him & asked if he speaks Darija or Berber and asked me how I know so much about. Then I told him about my travels and how I was in Morocco 2 months ago.
I'm meeting taxi drivers of countries I've been to recently. Now, I am going to airport from city center. You saw my hotel was near the airport.
Holiday Inn Hotel given by airline wasn't too far. But I came to city center to have food and to explore the area. I started the video late as I didn't find anything.
There wasn't much to see or show. There's atomium which is popular here and I've been there in 2017. That is there to see and didn't find anything else as Europe seems similar.
They have similar city center. They have a cathedral, old cobblestone streets that you are seeing, similar history behind everything. A tram will be running.
There will be some bars and shops. You'll find city center in Europe being similar. I came to Belgium for 2 days in 2017 and didn't find anything special then and still nothing special this time too.
Based on that it is very expensive as the prices are that of Scandinavia, German and France but the country has nothing special to offer. This is what I felt and there are many outsiders here, there's a lot of filth. I can't comment on the people who have come as it is their own matter.
But it was very unhygienic. I didn't find locals here & only outsiders. Everyone thinks I am not from India but from Pakistan.
Maybe they come in larger number here making them think Pakistanis are coming more than Indians. Where. .
. you are fine? Where did you learn that from?
I have an Indian friend here. Your best friend is Indian? Yeah!
Nice. Temple? Surendra Singh?
Yes! Oh, greetings to Surendra Singh. I forgot to tell you the tariff here.
So, if I book an Uber here, from hotel to city center or to the restaurant then I pay a minimum of 20 euros even for a 5 minute journey. You'll pay atleast ₹1800. I've not seen tarrifs less than this.
If I go far, then I even paid 30-40 euros. So, about ₹3000 for a 20-25 minute journey. I'm paying 40 euros from city center to airport which is about ₹3200 and it's a 20-25 minute ride.
Then the airline that I had. . .
I'll appreciate the airline The flight got cancelled no doubt but they gave me a good hotel that included dinner & breakfast, taxi tarriff till hotel and from hotel to airport. There's a shared shuttle from hotel too that was also included for coming to airport. I didn't take the shuttle and didn't do breakfast as I wasn't that hungry.
I didn't even take the taxi tarriff and just got it reimbursed once. 3 taxis were included but got reimbursement once. Other expenses before the flight like if I have food somewhere, will get reimbursed.
I would have to give the bill to airline and get the amount reimbursed but I didn't take it thinking they have already done enough. I can spend some from my own pocket too as I am also exploring the city. I didn't take full benefits but the airline's service was great and they had great customer service even though the flight got canceled.
The after service was amazing. Swiss Airways in Zurich wasn't great but I liked Brussels airlines in Belgium. Guys, I'm telling you about an exciting app today - 4RA that'll make your gaming experience amazing.

If you book an offline taxi instead of Uber then these are their tariff for the same. Like I said, the languages used in Belgium are French, Dutch, German and English. So, they've written in French, Dutch & English.
So, you'll initially pay 2. 60 euros. So, right after getting in the taxi you'll pay around ₹200 followed by ₹200 per kilometers.
In fact, this. . .
there is waiting time too. 2 euros will be added extra from 10pm to 6 am. So, this is the tariff for the taxi.
Even if you go nearby you'll end up paying 15 euros anyhow. Even if it is nearby! We've come here.
He asked me to show my channel. It was nice meeting you. Yeah!
Take care! Take care! Bye-bye!
The terminal is 3 minute walk from here. I'll have to walk from here. Which side is it!
It's this side. Terminal is this side. So, I'm headed to Sierra Leone and it is popular for its mining.
Blood Diamond movie is also made on that country's mining. I've Sierra Leone's visa. I asked Waheguru Travels who helped me for visa to help arrange visa for me otherwise it's too problematic.
So, they arranged my visa & I already have the visa. Now, my airline is Air Maroc and not Brussels Airlines as their flight isn't operating today hence gave flight with Air Maroc. It is 3:22 right now, and my flight is at 5:45.
Roughly 2. 5 hours from now. Let's go and get the boarding pass from Air Maroc and my terminal will change in Morocco.
Not sure, if transit visa is needed there or not. I don't have it. You don't face issues in such countries.
Indians need e-visa for Morocco. I took it the last time but it's not needed as I just have to transit. This is the terminal.
It's good I had Schengen visa. They don't let board without it from India as I needed transit visa even to change flight. It's good I had the visa for longer duration so I could easily travel these places.
They won't let you board without visa from India even if you have to transit from the airport. It's better if you've valid visa of these countries so that you get better flight connections & you can come anytime you want to Europe. This is level 3 - departures.
Level 2 had arrivals. My flight is at 17:35 Casablanca from AT 833. In row number 10!
From gate B. . .
let's go. Which row is this! This is 4.
This is 3. . .
then 4. Let's go to number 10. I think this is happening first time with me they gave 2 boarding passes together on one.
I didn't get 2 boarding passes. I have a flight from Brussels to Casablanca See this here! Then from Casablanca to Freetown (Sierra Leone).
Got free quickly as check-in line wasn't crowded & I became friends with them. The people at counter were from Morocco as the flight was Air Maroc. So, I talked to them about their language, city & towns.
So, I became friends with them & they gave me window seat then as had middle seat otherwise. My gate is B 15. Let's go this side.
I got done with everything quickly as the airport wasn't crowded. I got done with security, immigration check-in, etc quickly and it's 4 o'clock right now and the flight is at 5:45 so I have 1 hour 45 minutes. Let's go and sit at the boarding gate.
What's this? I'm seeing it for the first time. What is this.
. . travel water!
Only 1 euro. You keep 1 euro. .
. but where's the water? Okay you can pick the bottle yourself.
See this is nice. You can take it & keep the money on your own even if someone doesn't pay. So, you pick the bottle from here and you drop the money in this.
People have even dropped 5 euros. They must have taken 5 bottles. But it's a good thing.
And they have kept a piano here. If anyone wants to play piano at Brussels airport. I've no idea how it is played and it'll break instead.
Everyone comment, I played well as I'll get confidence then. I will then learn it. There's no point buying water here and don't buy it, as tap water is drinkable in countries, like Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark.
Central or North European countries get drinkable water even in tap. You get the same water to drink & to use in bathroom. So, you can take water from anywhere as all is same and clean.
So, fill your bottles from any wash basin you find here. I came at the gate so quickly. What to do now.
Let's just sit here. Boarding has started. Welcome to Morocco once again after 3 months I've come to Morocco for the 2nd time.
I'm in Casablanca & haven't been here before. We have to go here as we've flight connection. The exit was over there.
I was checking flight connections and all the names looked so familiar. See! Bamako, Mali where we went, in Morocco, Conakry in Guinea, Dakhla in Sahara where I've been.
All familiar names of West &North Africa. Nouakchott, Mauritania, etc . .
. Let's go. I've an international flight connection in about 2 hours from now.
It's 9:45 right now & flight is around 11. My boarding gate F3 is behind but I noticed the type-C cable of my iPhone got left behind in Brussels. I do have another one but all my gadgets work with type-c cable.
Laptop, drone, its controller, battery, earphones, mic and what not. So, let's buy a spare wire if I can, as I don't think I'll get original wire in West Africa. I'm trying to find it at the airport if I can.
I checked 2 duty free here but didn't see it either of them. The airport of Casablanca seems big to me. I came to Marrakech airport last time when I came to Morocco.
And, today interestingly a while back Navankur Chaudhary or Yatri Doctor & Navdeep Brar were also at Casablanca airport. I spoke to them a while back. We could've met but I got a bit late.
They left for Mauritania I think through Sahara. But, we missed it. The three of us were here.
They were together & I could've met. There were 3 duty free behind but I realized it won't be available there. There's Hudson here where I might get it.
Over here at this Hudson store travel related things are available. But this is closed. The flight had to take off at 11:15 and there's a line behind for boarding.
It is already 11:20 and boarding hasn't started. People are standing in queue since an hour. No wonder what's the issue.
I'm flying with Air Maroc. The boarding isn't starting when the flight should've taken off by now. Boarding has finally started now.
You must have seen in my Morocco videos that people eat Tajine so even their chicken is like that. There's carrot and some curry along with almonds, etc. It feels good in taste.
We are at the airport and see it's quite newly made. Amazing! This is a small duty free here.
I slept during the flight. I am done with immigration, got visa & stamp. He stamped it but then asked for money but I said I don't have anything and somehow came from there.
Airport is quite new but people are the same. There's a lot of corruption in West Africa. Flight first went to Monrovia from Casablanca and it halted there but I was so sleepy that I didn't realize.
Monrovia is Liberia's capital. Then it came to Sierra Leone from there and will go back to Casablanca, Morocco. I talked to the girl sitting on the next seat and she's from Sierra Leone but lives in US.
She woke me up when the flight landed here. She told me interesting things about the country but we'll discuss it later, let's get the bags first. Everyone's asking for money even at the airport.
I was recording so the people from staff called me and on asking said 'money'. I came here on seeing my bag and took it from here. There is a tax at airport of $25 which is paid by everyone.
Even local citizens of Sierra Leone were paying it. So, I paid $25 or about ₹2000. This is my bag tag & this is my ticket for sea coach.
I'll tell you what Sea Coach is. Speed boats like these operate here. Sea Coach is a private company.
As you can see on the screen, the airport of Freetown is in Lungi which is another city of Sierra Leone and Freetown is another city. There's a road journey from here to Freetown that takes about 4 to 5 hours. The other way is these speedboats or normal boats.
Sea Coach is one such company of the many speed boats running here. Waheguru Travels had maybe paid for my speedboat tickets so they sent me the receipt directly. I showed the receipt here and they issued the ticket to me, and checked in my bag too.
It runs every few minutes. I think it'll start in 10-15 minute. They wait for the passenger & make us sit in the room.
Speedboat leaves as it gets full. I also bought a sim card that costed me $10. I got the sim for $10, some credit in their local currency along with 6Gb internet.
Sierra Leonean Leone is their currency and I got 80,000 Leonean which is . . .
$4 credit along with internet. When I went to the sim card shop he was giving selling the sim card in haste but I made a friend here in the flight. A girl in flight & guy from airport and they came and talked to him to ensure I get full data & nothing goes wrong.
The sim was for $10 but I had $8 change & then $50 note so the local guy gave $10 from his side as I didn't have change. I gave him the $8 and he still paid the $2 for me. I found $10 in my bag so I returned it to him.
Here is the bus & they will take us to speed boat in this. Let's go! This is the bus.
Let's go and sit in it. I'm seated in the bus. The people feel so cold here, even though it is hot here in Africa.
I am feeling hot even a half t-shirt. But they are wearing caps, full sleeves, jacket, etc and are totally covered. Even the immigration officer wore caps and were covered.
This is their port in the front. Sea Coach express operates from here I think. See there are different counters too for other companies.
There's one over there. I think they'll make us sit here in their lounge. I don't see the boat.
Sia do you know the name of this port? What's the name of this port? This is port Loco?
No, this is Lungi. Lungi, okay! This is Lungi, the city I told you about.
Like I said there're other private companies too Government boats are also there for $1. 2 but they are slow & lack good management. This company was fine, as they checked-in bag instantly, and I think they waited for me outside as I came out of the airport.
We waited for half an hour over there and might make us wait 5-10 minutes here too. I don't see the boat yet. There's a good thing about Sierra Leone English is spoken here.
You saw in West Africa. . .
the French West Africa, many countries were French colonies. So, I faced a lot of issues communicating with people or talk to them. Gambia was the only country having English as the official language.
Now this trip that I'm continuing for West Africa the one I paused 2. 5 months ago and have come back to Sierra Leone & starting from an English speaking country. Talking to people is very easy.
Liberia will be my next country. It was an American colony so American English is common there. But Sierra Leone being a former British colony, has use of British English.
Why I didn't come since 2. 5 months? If you have seen my videos, then you would know when I had to come to Sierra Leone from Guinea Conakry by taking a ferry to Freetown the same day but some riots broke down the same day here and a curfew was imposed.
Hence, I thought to pause the trip by either skipping Sierra Leone to go to Liberia and then coming back but the route wasn't great. I wanted to take the straight route so I went back to India and took a pause for 2-2. 5 months and continuing the trip now.
Interestingly, many Indians live in Sierra Leone and do business. The locals with whom I interacted during the flight said no one will say I'm not from Sierra Leone as many Indians live here, do business and even have 3-4th generations living here. The same goes for Lebanese people.
Lebanon people also contribute to their economy through business. So, Indians & Lebanese mostly handle big business here like we saw in other West African countries. I was sitting here with my friends - Sia and Robert and were talking about Creole.
English is the official language of Sierra Leone but talk in Sierra Leone Creole among themselves. As Caribbean had its own creole then Haiti had Haitian Creole that's French based. Each country has its own creole so Sierra Leone also has its own.
I was asking them how is their Creole. As we are waiting for the boat I asked him how would he say in Creole that we're currently waiting for the speed boat and Robert is going to say the same. How do you say that?
Yes! And can you talk in Creole with Sia? Talk about anything.
I want to hear how it sounds. What's Pocu? Plenty!
Pocu is a creole word? Yes It's not English. What does that mean?
I'm trying to say we should sell you. We're saying that we met you for the first time. Okay And you make content videos.
. . Okay and I make poco money.
. . Plenty money!
Plenty of money! And she is saying you should give her some money. So.
. . So, what I've realized is.
. . I mean the main keywords are same as of English but they have their own pronunciations for certain words and then they have their own words as well like bocu bocu is another word for plenty.
Bocu means a lot. So, now I am going to try saying in Creole that we're waiting for the speed boat so how will I say that? Is that correct?
Yes! Okay! But 'de' isn't it so incorrect?
The spelling is 'd'. . .
. so that's English she is saying but Creole word is 'Dae'. So, like .
. . So dae basically means "are" of English.
We are waiting for . . .
So, 'dae' is a creole word meaning 'are' which is an English word Instead of we're waiting for the speed boat it became 'dae waiting' which is their creole word. Wow! The vibe is amazing!
There's water on the sides. If you noticed, the roads near the airport were nice in Sierra Leone. I don't understand as in other West African countries, Senegal seemed quite developed.
But now even Sierra Leone looks developed. Their airport was so amazing. It wasn't this great even in Senegal.
Even though Sierra Leone isn't a stable country as curfews are quite common. Don't know how they're getting the money. I'll research more & explain in new videos when we talk about their economy, etc.
The speed boat is here of Sea Coach company. I am the first person to board. Amazing!
Let's go! The trip is 40 minutes long which would've been 4-5 hours by road. and would've been a very long route.
The speedboat will drop us in 40 minutes through water. Sierra Leone is standing out to be better than my expectations. You want to sit here?
Yeah, next to the window! Can I? So that I can film.
Thank you! It's really a speed boat going in full speed. It's making high waves in the water.
I was a little confused about the airport about how did they make it so nice. So, he just told me that their government made a deal with a Turkish company that will make their airport and all the expenses to make it will be recovered by every person using the airport even if it's a local like them or a tourist like me. Even they paid $25 as tax.
So, $25 goes to the company who made the airport. They made it within a year or two. They made it quickly, as he told me.
As I was also confused as to how it is so nice as I haven't yet seen such an airport in West Africa. So, this was the reason, & they're recovering money by $25 tax. We're in Freetown, & the speedboat is getting docked.
Sia has returned to Freetown after 1. 5 years. She was in US since 1.
5 years. She has come to visit her family. And they have thrown the rope now.
We're here! Let's get down. Are they going to bring the bags?
We're here in Freetown. My bag is still inside, I think they'll bring it. See, Sia is meeting her family.
The family is so happy. After 1. 5 years!
Let's go! Nice car, Robert. Nice car!
Robert is super rich! Where should I keep it? At the back?
So, Chirag from Gujarat & Avinash from Rajasthan are here to pick me. I met both of them here as I came out. Let's go!
Are the car glasses black? Yes! So, it's been 60 hours since I left India and I've finally reached Freetown.
You saw how long the journey was, the challenges we faced, flight got canceled and . . .
but the journey was nice overall. Freetown (Sierra Leone) looks better than my expectations. Even when we were in the speed boat, as I told you everyone was asking for tip so even the staff outside came on the window & asked for tip from me.
I said I don't have any cash & said when you come back . . .
thinking I'll come back to the airport to leave so asked me to give tip when I come back. I said okay I'll give when I come back. But, the journey was great and as you saw, Sia who was with me told me an interesting fact that different ethnic groups exist here too like you saw in West Africa.
There is Mende, Fula, Kissi, etc. and I think Sia was Kissi who told me that in their ethnic group, the eldest daughter is named Sia & the eldest or first son is named Sa. So, her name is Sia and her husband's name is Sa.
Even her father-in law's name & even her father's name is Sa too. So, their names are very confusing if you notice. People are running this time (morning).
It is 7:30 am right now. It was dark until a while back. Sorry, it is 8 am right now.
The time was different in my watch. And. .
. people are out for running or to go to their work. It is nice.
We have reached? Yes Okay Is he the guard here? Yes!
Okay Robbery is common here? It happens, but it is safe here. This area is safe.
Yes! This area and the house is safe. Okay!
There are gunmans at night here? Yes, at night! Okay!
As you saw, Chirag & Avinash from Waheguru Travels came to pick me and gave me this spacious room here. I met some more brothers here. Kartik, etc but rest everyone is sleeping as it's 8 am on Sunday right now.
Everyone slept late on Saturday. How are you? See, how spacious this is!
Oh man! This is such a huge apartment. It's honestly very big.
The guy cleaning outside was a local maybe and didn't understand me. Anyways, the journey was long but I finally reached after 60 hours. I'll again say but Waheguru travels really helps a lot.
They came to pick me directly this time too, the ticket for the ferry or speedboat was already done by them. They aren't paying me nor am I making sponsored video for them. It is nothing like that!
They help me in all things. and my travel becomes simplified & I save up avoiding hassle and time wastage. In West Africa.
. . I think they have office in about 40-42 counties in Africa and if you want to book flight, get visa or come to Africa for work or for business then you can contact them.
I'll give their details in description. I hope you liked the video. I will rest a bit now.
I haven't slept since 2-3 days so I'll sleep now as my eyes are getting red. I'll then decide what to see here & what content to make and then explore the country. I hope you liked the video.
Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a great day. Goodbye!
I had finished the video but as I sat after taking shower they got tea and onion paratha. Amazing!
