Galatians chapter 5 verse 16 through 18. this I say then walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh for the flesh lusteth against the spirit and the spirit against the Flesh and these are contrary the one to the other so that ye cannot do the things that ye would but if he be led of the spirit ye are not under the law some Christians are fond of attributing everything that men and women do to Demons we know that many actions of men are influenced by demons but some things don't
require demons they are not manifestations of demons the Bible tells us clearly that you don't need a demon to commit adultery it's in the DNA of the flesh the Bible tells us you don't need any evil spirits to go out and fornicate it's in the DNA of the flesh literally the Bible clearly tells us what the works of the flesh are Galatians chapter 5 verse 19 through 21 now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these adultery fornication uncleanliness lasciviousness idolatry witchcraft hatred variance emulations wrath Strife seditions heresies envyings murders drunkenness revelings and
such like of the which I tell you before as I have also told you in time past that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God we live in a culture saturated with sensuality and Free Will we live in a culture that encourages to do whatever feels good but the problem there is that things that feel good don't necessarily mean that they are acceptable in the eyes of the Lord Galatians 5 warns us about giving into the quote feel-good aspects of our bodies there is a problem with you and me and
that is the flesh our spirit is born again but our spirit lives in a fleshly body just because you are born again does not mean you will not be tempted by your flesh you will be tempted by your flesh there is a war inside you a war between your flesh and your spirit your spirit because it is born again it desires to please God it desires the things of God your spirit desires communion with the Lord that is a born-again spirit but at the same time your body still has its Works which are stated in
Galatians chapter 5 verses 19 through 21 there is a war going on inside you the spirit versus the flesh this is why we see in the Bible we are instructed to put off the old man and put on the new man this is why we see in the Bible we are instructed to walk by the spirit there is a war going on inside you Galatians chapter 5 verse 16-18 so I say walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh for the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit and
the spirit what is contrary to the flesh they are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want but if you are led by the spirit you are not under the law Paul now describes a conflict that goes on in the heart and mind of every Christian our flesh wants one thing and are born against Spirit wants something very different and that is because of the new birth a natural man a carnal person does not have this conflict inside them because they are living in the flesh for the flesh
lusts against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh this right here is the key for you and me the key is walking in the spirit however it is important to note that walking in the spirit doesn't always come easily often it is a battle there's a battle going on inside the Christian and the battle is between the Flesh and the spirit there is a war inside you as Paul writes these are contrary to one another they don't live in harmony they are complete opposites when David committed adultery with David was not demon-possessed he was
simply acting in his flesh our flesh craves sex and that is completely normal and natural people attempt to demonize sex and make it into an evil thing sex is not evil or bad it is a wonderful Union that God has created for one man and one woman to engage together in the ACT within a holy marriage however our sinful nature attempts to acquire sex outside the constraints of marriage and our sinful culture attempts to encourage us to have sex outside the constraints of marriage Therefore your body craving sex is normal but where we lose it
is when we go outside the parameters God has clearly set for us the parameters of God are as following one man and one woman married in holy matrimony it is the flesh the human body that gets lost into attempting to acquire something natural but through Unholy means one of the many reasons why God has put these strict parameters for sex is because of physical and spiritual consequences of it 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 15-17 do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself shall I then take the members of Christ and unite
them with a prostitute never do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her body for it is said the two will become one flesh but whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit you are joining yourself with that person in the spirit you are literally saying in the spirit world we are one two people who are involved in fornication and their relationship is so bad and is so negative and you ask yourself why don't they just go their separate ways they want to leave each
other but they can't they know they are not good for one another and they want to leave but they can't they know that their relationship is going nowhere and they want to leave but they can't they know that their relationship is unhealthy and they want to leave but they can't why not it's not that simple there is a connection between the two of them that transcends the physical that transcends any other platonic relationship they have been joined together they have become one do you understand that there is a connection between them that transcends nature that
even transcends this world no ye not that he which is joined to and Harlot is one body for two saith he shall be one flesh in other words these two people are married in the Unseen World there is a relationship status called friends with benefits Friends with Benefits relationship is one in which two people are physically intimate with one another yet they are not committed to each other in any way people involved in a friends with benefit relationship sleep together but their relationship isn't romantic and not exclusive and has no strings attached have you ever
noticed that all friends with benefits couples at least one of them begins to get attached to the other person it happens every time one or both people get attached and the reason for this is that they are joining themselves to one another fornication builds a spiritual connection between people why do you think breakups are so difficult when the relationship ends you feel so lost as if something has been taken away from you but the truth is something has been taken away from you a part of you has gone with that person and a part of
you is with that person breakups can feel somewhat like grief at points because someone who you were joined to has left there are people who are married to someone and they are still missing their ex of over a decade ago there are people who are married to someone and they still think of their ex of over a decade ago from time to time why do you think that is it is because they have become one flesh with them you hear the line Time Heals everything no it doesn't time does not fix the things of the
spirit so three four five years can pass and you are still struggling with this breakup God created sex he did God loves you yes he does and for this very reason this is why God has created the specific parameters for two people to sleep together God cares and God's laws are there for you to follow for your own good and to benefit you God knows the consequences of people living a promiscuous life and time and time again in his word he warns us against this lifestyle so there is nothing wrong with you wanting sex however
