Meditation for letting go from ego completely. You may practice this either while seated or while lying down. You may have the deepest experience while lying down, but trust what feels right for you.
Once you get into a comfortable position, make sure your spine is straight and your palms are resting face down. and gently close your eyes. Allow all of your awareness to center in on your breath.
For now, just noticing how it [Music] feels, becoming curious, and exploring it. and then intentionally sending it all the way to your lower abdomen as you breathe in. Stomach rising fully followed by your rib cage expanding and then exhale letting your rib cage and your stomach [Music] contract.
Continue to breathe this way, allowing your inhales to equal the length of your [Music] exhales, letting them be as slow and as calm as you possibly can. And as you feel your body slowing [Music] down, you start to feel gravity taking over. You notice your body feels heavy.
You let gravity anchor you in. As your awareness begins to drop down, feeling your body as though it is falling deep into the earth, lowering down past the Earth's crust, deep into soil. until all there is around you is darkness as if you are buried deeply underground.
The ego would have you think that this is bad, but in [Music] reality, as your true highest self [Music] knows, there is no such thing. All there is is love. And even in darkness, there is love.
So for now, as you feel yourself deep within the earth, as if buried underground in pure darkness, just become aware of what messages or feelings your ego may be bringing up for you. Perhaps there is fear or anxiety. You are safe here.
Let your stomach expand as you breathe in and contract as you breathe out. For now, just acknowledging the ego, listening to what it has to say. For your ego is not bad.
There is nothing wrong with it. It is just slightly misguided, trying to keep you safe. and it doesn't realize that you already are.
So, as you listen to its fearful messages about being in this darkness underground, just lovingly acknowledge what it has to [Music] say and allow yourself to breathe through whatever fears come up for you. [Music] On every inhale saying to your ego, "I love you. " And on every exhale, I forgive you.
[Music] And the more you affirm this, the less the ego has a grip on [Music] you, the more you start to feel comforted and peaceful deep in this darkness. [Music] and now on every inhale affirming I forgive you and on every exhale I release [Music] you you might even feel yourself sinking more deeply into darkness and noticing the peace that embraces you as you do. The ego can have no grip on you when you love it.
accept it, forgive it, and release it. And when you embrace what ego once thought was scary and instead you choose to see it with love, you are [Music] free. And let yourself continue to breathe into this [Music] freedom that may manifest itself as deep peace and [Music] relaxation.
Just enjoy. [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] You may stay in this relaxation for as long as you'd like.
And whenever you're ready to come out of this meditation, do so very slowly. Imagine yourself rising [Music] up all the way up through the earth's soil into the space where you are right now. Wiggle your fingers and your [Music] toes.
Roll your shoulders. Move your sitbones from side to [Music] side. And as it feels right to you, slowly open your eyes.
