down Paris was good that's Olympics was the best Olympics ever that's why we call Olympics many people are coming to 206 countries visited all sorts of people were there white people red people black people all types of religions over there but we are all one we didn't know that we are we are from Africa or Asia or or or America uh I think everybody watch but you know sport is like that today you are up tomorrow you are down you need to understand that I want to say thank you for my fans all the Kenyans

all over over 50 million Kenyans who have been praying for the team Kenya and myself I want to say that uh uh uh we are on the same road you have been helping me to make this country a running country let us continue actually advocating for the same you know sport is Sport you if you understand the sport then you know what the sport is if you don't understand the sport then you don't know what the sport is future is great they are the best athletes count kenas lot of athletes discipline athletes with energetic with

energetic athletes so the future for Kenya is PR as far as marathon is concerned you know I am a Kenyan and I'm an African and Kenya and being an African that's my business and you know I I really respect what saying you cannot actually handle two things or you cannot Chase two rabbits at the same time so Paris was another rabbit so I need to go back check for another rapit which it means uh I need go back to throwing boat and see what what opportunities are there for me to CRA saying you'll not be

in the 2028 Los Angeles uh Olympics can we see you maybe making and resigning that decision I will be in Olympics on another capacity not an athlete but you know on on on on on on on on on motivating people on keeping up to Kenyans to the whole world you know life is about op and you know the difference between what's what's what's success according to you what do you think success is I'm asking you success is uh being an example a proper example can you differentiate success and failure failure comes in so that you

realize success is and success comes in so so that you realize failures come in so I don't see any chemistry actually which you want to ask anything so failure must come in so that you realize success and success must come in so that you realize failure is in so we need you know it's against your the law of nature for all of us to think together but we need to bring all our thoughts together be on the line respect all ideologies you know they say all of us you idiots but the level ocracy we need

to respect so all of us we are the same but we need to respect our thoughts you know let me let me tell you one thing Olympics is not about to win medals it's about participation why do you participate it's about participation it's not about you participate fast you represent your country you represent your your continent and then you you are now compete to earn medals that's where that's why it's called Olympics there is all sorts of people there be it white be it red be it black like me but there are running as one

that's actually the thing which carries the Mand of Olympics that's why we don't compete we compete but the key number one is participation and then we compete for medals and we call off the camps you did not break uh get that record that you really wanted winning Olympics uh for the third time how what was going on your mind when finishing that race was it so bad like you didn't have that record or was it that you faced stiff competition or was it that your spirit was was high because you've always been in High Spirit

congrat ulating your competitors what was going in your mind do you think I'm a failure because I not get the that one I'm asking you failure is that person who doesn't try I have tried to to to win the thir one butth it was not my day and that's how SP is you know if we if all of us we can be positive in life we'll go you know in a curtain there is flowers and Wheats if you concentrate on Wheats the flowers cannot grow so let us con concentrate on flowers so that we enjoy
