before we pray let's first reflect on God's word and then we'll come together in prayer naham 1:7 says the Lord is good a stronghold in the day of trouble he knows those who trust in him this verse is more than just a comforting promise it is a truth that stands firm no matter what you face today the Bible doesn't just tell you that God is good it reminds you that he is your your place of Refuge when Trouble Comes he is the shelter that cannot be shaken the Fortress that will never fail but there's something
even more profound in these words God knows those who trust in him he sees you when you rely on him he recognizes those who take him at his word who believe in his promises even when life is uncertain he knows the hearts of those who choose Faith over fear those who refuse to let doubt consume them but that brings an important question does God know you as one who truly trusts in him does he look at your life and see someone who depends on his love his protection and his plan this question matters because you
don't know what today holds you can make plans but you can't control what happens next life is unpredictable one moment everything seems fine and the next Everything Changes you don't know what the coming weeks or months will bring but you can be sure of this God is already there so how will you live in the face of the unknown you have three choices the first is to live in fear fear keeps you bound making you anxious about things you can't control it weighs on your heart like a heavy burden filling your mind with worry and
doubt fear tells you to expect the worst to prepare for disappointment to assume that uncertainty means disaster but fear is a liar it robs you of peace and keeps you from trusting in the goodness of God the second choice is to live recklessly ignoring the reality of life's battles some go through life pretending none of it matters Living For The Moment without considering what lies ahead they don't seek God's wisdom and they don't think about eternity the Bible warns of this kind of blindness in Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge without
God's truth you are left defenseless in a world full of spiritual battles but then there is a third choice the best choice to trust in Jesus even though I don't know what today holds I refuse to be ruled by fear I will not wander through life without Direction instead I will choose to trust in the one who knows my future I may not have all the answers but I know the one who does my life is in his hands and that is enough this kind of trust is not just an empty declaration it is a
decision that says no matter what happens I will walk through it with Jesus by my side it is choosing to say even if I face challenges today I will not be shaken if Trouble Comes I will not be afraid if I don't understand I will still trust because I know my God is with me so what will you choose will you let fear dictate your life will you live carelessly ignoring God's voice or will you take refuge in the one who has never failed I encourage you to choose faith today declare with confidence Lord I
don't know what today holds but I know you hold me You Are My Shelter my protector my strong tower when troubles come I will not be shaken for my trust is in you trusting in Jesus doesn't mean life will always be easy it doesn't mean you will never face hardship but it does mean that you will never walk alone if sickness comes trust him as your healer by his stripes you are healed if Temptation comes trust him as your deliverer he will always provide a way of Escape if the enemy Rises against you trust him
as your Defender no weapon formed against you shall prosper no matter what today brings you can have peace in this unshakable truth Jesus is everything you need and he will go before you walking with you every step of the way now let's take a moment to pray together Lord Jesus my faith is in you because you have never lost a battle and you never will Victory begins and ends with you no power of darkness no force of evil and no storm of Life can stand against your Sovereign hand you Reign Over All Things seen and
unseen and in you I am secure you go before me and you walk beside me me before I even step into the unknown you have already prepared the way you make a way where there seems to be no way and you open doors that no one can shut even when the path ahead looks impossible I know that you have already gone before me making the Crooked places straight and removing every obstacle that is not meant for me your word in Deuteronomy 31:8 declares the Lord he is the one who goes before you he will be
with you he will not leave you nor forsake you do not fear nor be dismayed what a promise you are not a God who abandons or forgets your children you are not distant or indifferent to my struggles you are with me right here right now in every moment of my life your presence surrounds me upholding Me with Your Righteous right hand thank you Lord because no matter what I face I am not alone if I encounter obstacles you will either remove them or give me the strength to overcome them if I feel surrounded by difficulties
you will clear the path for me when I am weak You Are My Strength when I am weary you are my rest when I feel lost you are my guide I trust in you Jesus I trust in your power in your love and in your goodness even when I don't understand what is happening I believe that you are working all things for my good even when the answers are delayed I know that you are never late even when things don't go according to my plans I know that your plans are higher greater and far better
than anything I could ever imagine Lord I lift up my family to you I ask for your Divine protection to cover us like a shield guard us from harm from sickness from every attack of the enemy guide our steps that we may walk in wisdom in righteousness and in alignment with your will lead us Lord in the way we should go so that our lives may bring glory to your name I do not know what the future holds but I take refuge in this truth you are my stronghold in times of trouble you are my
protector my shield and my my Fortress I run to you and I am safe your word in Isaiah 45:2 proclaims I will go before you and make the Crooked places straight I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron what can stand against me when you are for me no stronghold is too great for you to tear down no barrier is too high for you to remove no chain is too strong for you to break every weapon formed against me shall not Prosper because my trust is in you the
almighty God who fights my battles so Lord I Surrender I Surrender every worry every fear and every unknown into your hands I let go of control and I rest in the assurance that you are in control you hold my life in the palm of your hand and no force in heaven or Earth can snatch me away from your grasp I stand firm on the solid rock of Jesus Christ the enemy has no power over me fear has no place in my heart anxiety has no hold on my mind I am covered by the blood of
