the tighter we grasp at controlling our circumstances the more they seem to slip through our fingers there comes a moment in life when holding on hurts more than letting go today we're going to explore a truth that can transform your struggle into surrender and your anxiety and concerns into peace if you believe that God can make a difference in your life today let us stand together in faith I will pray a fervent prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so watch until the end and open your hearts to receive the blessings of this
prayer my friends in the midst of our need to control everything God speaks through his word in Philippians 4:6 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God when we try to carry burdens that were meant for God's shoulders we limit his power in our lives today we'll discover how Letting Go opens the door to God's perfect plan I am here to remind you that surrender isn't weakness but the greatest demonstration of faith Faith now let's consider the power of divine release my friends
true Freedom begins when we open our clenched fists and release our grip on the things we cannot control think about reob booa First Kings 12:8 tells us but he rejected the advice which the elders had given him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him who stood before him here was a king who couldn't let go of his pride and need for control he held on to his own wisdom instead of surrendering to Godly counsel the result was the division of an entire Kingdom when we insist on maintaining control we often create
the very chaos we're trying to prevent my friends Letting Go isn't about giving up it's about giving over to God it's about acknowledging that his ways are higher than our ways consider Barnabas a wealthy man who sold his land and laid the money at the apostles feet in Acts 4: 36 to 37 we see a man who understood that releasing his possessions to God's control would bring greater purpose he became known as the son of encouragement touching countless lives because he first learned to let go my dear friends God is waiting for you to release
those situations that you've been struggling with that relationship you can't fix that decision that keeps you awake at night that fear about your future when we try to orchestrate every detail of Our Lives we exhaust ourselves and block God's perfect plan just as a talented musician must release their r on an instrument to create beautiful music we must loosen our Hold On Life's circumstances to allow God's Harmony to flow the moment you decide to let go is the moment that God's power can fully operate in your situation he's not asking you to abandon responsibility he's
inviting you to abandon anxiety remember your situations haven't surprised God he's already prepared the solution waiting for you to trust him enough to let go let us now explore the power of transformative trust my friends Letting Go becomes easier when we understand the character of the one we're trusting let's look at udica story in Acts 20: 7 to2 a young man who fell from a window to his death but through God's power was restored to life his friends had to let go of their disp spare to witness God's miraculous power sometimes we hold on to
things so tightly because we're afraid of what might happen if we don't but God is asking us to release our grip so that he can show us his glory look at Apollo's in Acts 18:26 we read so he began to speak boldly in the synagogue when Aquila and Priscilla heard him they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately here was a skilled teacher who had to let go of his pride to receive greater understanding his willingness to release his own knowledge led to a more powerful Ministry my dear friends
God isn't asking you to let go into emptiness he's asking you to let go into his fullness when you release your problems to him you're not throwing them into a void you're placing them in the hands of the one who holds the tomorrow think about Jethro advising Moses in Exodus 18: 17-23 Moses had to let go of trying to judge every case himself his surrender to wisdom actually made him a more effective leader sometimes holding on to control is actually holding us back from God's best when we release our tight grip on how things should
be we open ourselves to how God wants things to be it's in this place of surrender that we find our greatest strength remember Letting Go isn't a sign of weakness it's a sign of wisdom when we finally release our burdens to God we're not giving up we're actually positioning ourselves for a miracle and now let us turn our attention to the journey from release to Restoration my dear friends when we truly let go and let God we enter a season of divine restoration consider a aphroditus in Philippians 2: 25 to30 who had to let go
of his desire to continue serving when illness struck him his surrender led to healing and an even greater testimony of God's faithfulness this teaches us that sometimes what we see as Interruption is actually God's Intervention when we release our timeline God can Implement his perfect timing look at onesimus he was a runaway slave who had to let go of his past to embrace God's future for him in filimon 1:1 the Bible says who was once unpr profitable to you but now is profitable to you and to me his story shows us that when we release
our past mistakes God Can Transform them into Ministry my friends in your hands your problems stay problems but in God's hands your problems become platforms for his power that financial situation you're worried about God has provision you haven't seen yet that relationship that seems broken Beyond repair God Specializes in restoration consider n in Acts 21: 16 an early disciple who had to let go of his comfort to host Paul and his companions his willingness to release his resources became part of spreading the gospel sometimes our greatest breakthroughs come right after our deepest surrenders when we
stop trying to write our own story We allow God to reveal his greater narrative your situation might seem impossible right now but God is not limited by what limits you he's not confined by what confines you he's not puzzled by what puzzles you my dear friends today is your day to release everything into his capable hands let go of your need to understand everything let go of your timeline let go of your way of doing things it's time to let God be God in your life now to all those within the sound of my voice

your holy name for you are The Sovereign King and everything is under your control I exalt You Lord For You Are The God Who Never Fails who holds the world in place yet you care intimately for me father I thank you for all that you have done in my life thank you for your provision your guidance and your protection over me every day I am grateful for your mercy and Grace which are new Every Morning Lord I ask for your forgiveness for every sin forgive me for every thought and every action that has not pleased
you cleanse me oh God and create in me a clean heart I also release forgiveness to those who have hurt or wronged me letting go of all bitterness and resentment I acknowledge that there are things I have been holding on to that I need to release there are also situations I have tried to control in my own strength that I need to surrender to you Lord today I declare that I will let go and let you take control I release every burden every worry and every fear into your hands in the name of Jesus I
bind every spirit of fear anxiety and doubt that tries to steal my peace in the name of Jesus I rebuke the enemy schemes to weigh me down with unnecessary burdens I declare that I will trust you fully knowing that you work all things together for my good I speak peace over my mind body and spirit and I declare that I will walk in the freedom of your promises father I pray for your Divine blessings to overflow in my life I ask for your healing power to touch every part of my body from the top of
my head to the soles of my feet I rebuke every sickness and disease in the name of Jesus and I declare that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus I rebuke every attack of the enemy whether it be physical emotional or spiritual as I stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ almighty God I ask for your protection over me and my loved ones I declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper surround us Lord with your angels and let your favor cover us like a shield Lord as I say this prayer together
