Hej Handball Inspirator, I am Martin and together with you I am on a handball world tour. We are now looking over the shoulders of Björn Piontek from the HSG Blomberg Lippe. Björn shows us a varied warm-up program with different games and exercises.
Especially the different levels lead to a targeted warming up and preparation for contact in defense training. If you have any questions about the exercise or your own ideas and warm-up games, please feel free to contact us in the comments. This exercise structure has a clear advantage, which I would like to discuss with you at the end of the video.
So stay on the ball and let yourself be inspired. Free movement in the 9m with the ball. If you meet another one, the feet touch each other 2 times.
And we add 2 touches in the air, with a high ball. and we add two touches with the shoulder. and we add three fast side steps.
and we add a bounce through the legs and a acceleration. 2 players haven´t got a jersey. They are the hunters.
The jersey is placed behind in the shorts, with more than half outside. The space goes to my high. The hunters have to catch as much jersey as possible.
Don´t run away to much, go more in the defense position and work with contact. We have 30 seconds. Let´s go.
In pairs together, with the same conditions. You have to run through the first door, around the cone, and then back through the door. We start by jumping to the shoulders.
The loser makes two push-ups. Use more contacts. Everything is allowed.
One hunter needs to get the bounty. And one is block in the defense position. Everyone Through the many competitions exactly this fighting spirit and the own assertion is stirred up.
Björn always manages to take the pressure off for a short time, e. g. during the catching game with only 2 catchers.
You are welcome to use 4 or more catchers if you want to have a higher intensity in this exercise. But most of all it prepares the contact with clear goals, like in the relay game. Which ideas do you take from the video?
Let us talk about them in the comments. Because handball inspires.
