Welcome to a new video in New Zealand from a small town near Auckland. What's the plan for today? You know I was doing a road trip in New Zealand in this RV.
Our journey officially ends today. Now I will leave for the airport. I have to return the RV there.
I will then take a flight to Singapore. I will transit from Singapore as it's not my final destination. You can transit within 96 hours from Singapore without a visa if you have a US, UK, Australia, Canada or New Zealand Visa With my US visa I will stay in Singapore for 96 hours.
I don’t know where I'll go after that as I will book my tickets on the way to the airport as they will ask for a confirmed flight ticket if you want to transit within 96 hours. We were here at Ishan's house. He hosts us every time.
After having Tea or coffee we will leave from here. Thank you Ishan Bhai We enjoyed a lot with you. .
. The first day we came to New Zealand he tracked and caught us. We have been spending time with him since then Now the RV is being cleaned.
I will show you the inside We've to return the RV hence cleaning it. We cleaned it once threw away the trash, and arranged everything. You can see the RV looks presentable.
We've to return it at the airport to the company we rented it from. There was a minor accident but it was fully covered… We've to clean the dishes. There was just a scratch outside.
He prepared coffee with biscuits on the side. We'll leave after drinking coffee. We're getting late so let's go quickly.
We had coffee and let's leave now. Ishan is taking the car out. There are some hedges on the side and our vehicle is very huge.
We'll say goodbye to this vehicle. The vehicle supported us a lot. Keep it, keep it I will give it later.
It was my jacket & Navankur was asking if I've to leave it here. I said I'll wear it for some time & will give it to Ishan later. Coming behind.
. It's fine as it has gone out of here. I'm coming at the back.
It is very long too. . Come, come.
. . come!
Come on, keep coming Come! Come, come. .
. That's it! It's a hassle!
Is the steering not turning? Yes, wait I'll look. Come!
It's still 2 ft ahead. Come a little forward. Enough, turn it around.
Come, come. . It's just a tree.
It'll only break a little. Stop, stop. .
Stop, stop! It is a very big hassle. We can take it out now.
Let's go! Very good! See this was the scratch we were going to eat at Subway.
Navankur didn't look up & it got scratched by an umbrella. It's a small loss nothing much. Our flight is at 1:45 and it is 9 a.
m. right now. So, our flight is 4.
5 hours later but we have to return it, clean it, and throw out the water. I need to go to the grocery store and do a few more things. Let's go!
As only Navankur & I were traveling so we both sat in the front. I'm travelling in this seat for the first time. It's not allowed without a seatbelt & everyone should be seated with their seatbelts on but we're not going very far and it's hardly 2 minutes.
Navankur went to a supermarket to buy famous chocolates from here. . .
What is the name of it? Whittaker? Whittaker's chocolates are very tasty & someone gifted it.
He will give it to people he's meeting. I’m planning to go to Singapore & don’t know whom I’ll meet so I’m not buying any & waiting here. We need to throw out wastewater, refuel the RV, and then reach the company at airport Then we've to complete formalities, fill out the claim form and return the vehicle.
Then we've to go to airport I haven't checked-in yet. I've to catch a flight. So, we don't have much time.
It's 9:15 now, and. . .
We've only 4. 5 hours for everything. Let's see!
Hopefully, it'll be done in time. We shot some final videos of RV & I realized I left mic cover on the road. I’m going to look for it on the road while they’re emptying waste of RV.
It is called graywater so we've to empty that. We can’t empty that anywhere. Now look at this sign on the road this is for RV's waste.
It means, here. . .
Look, there. . That is the dumping station.
All the RV's greywater or the sink or toilet water has to be dumped there underground. . .
means you can't just dump waste anywhere here Everything here is done with cleanliness do it! ! It stinks, right?
Why are you not doing it? aren't we getting late? last time I did it it is your turn now Navankur is pulling the pipe out Remove the lid from the waste hose here and then here we will put the pipe give.
. it is set here There must be some way to do this No, I did it that day also, here it's done push it my side let's just stop, stop. .
. This is the first time we’ve encountered it dirty otherwise, this place is always clean Ishan! thank you so much It was very nice meeting you We will come and meet again.
. maybe in India or any other country Thank you for hosting and guiding us Say bye to him! I will do it in my video!
As I've told you, we rented this RV from Star RV company for our New Zealand road trip. Renting RV is the best option for New Zealand road trip. If you’re planning your road trip & want to book an RV from Star Company then I’ll add link in the description, and you can book from there.
We rented a Polaris Six RV that's ideal for 6 people & it was two of us so, it was huge for us. You can get a small RV like the Polaris Four is more suitable. This can accommodate up to six people as it has 3 beds for 2 people each.
If you book through my link you’ll get a discount from Star RV and I’ll receive a commission making it a win-win for both of us! We’ve come from where we rented the RV to return it back. Oh yes, we have to refuel it as well.
We're at Star RV & Jucy's office. Welcome! We’ve parked the RV here.
They will check the kilometers & tell us. We’ll go inside now. We'll tell about the claim as there's a scratch.
We've to go inside and pay diesel tax for the kilometers we drove. Bye, RV! There’s a rule in New Zealand, of diesel tax - 0.
08 cents per kilometer driven. They’ve given us this form This is to be filled for insurance claim. We need to fill in details about where & how the scratch occurred.
Get a pen. Drver's full name, License number, Vehicle details, etc. They'll fill this themselves.
We've to make a diagram here. Let's go! How are you?
How was your trip? - good, good How did you find New Zealand? It was very beautiful and we enjoyed it.
I was watching your reels. . .
Yes, we're made many reels Let's keep the bag. The RV company has a policy off dropping off at the airport for free in a shuttle. But since brother was coming there was no need as we'll meet him and he came to meet us only.
He offered to drop us off himself. . .
What's this? This is for you. What did u buy for me?
This is for you. . .
- Double XL Double XL maybe. . .
I think Double XL will fit me. This is the shirt brother bought for me. I thought Double XL might be too big, but it fits me well.
It fits me! This shirt. .
. Let me know in the comments if it looks good. Brother bought this gift, thank you so much!
No problem! Brother, you bought the shirt for me so this jacket is from me for you. Oh no no!
I don't want to travel with it as it’s heavy and the next countries will be hot so it won't be of use to me. You can give it to someone who needs it since I don’t have space in my bag. I was anyways planning to give it to you even if you hadn’t bought me the shirt.
If it fits you. . .
What size is this? This is XL. - Yes!
See, if it fits someone. We’ve arrived at Auckland Airport. Both of us have picked up our bags & we've flight at the same time.
Destination is different We booked at same time so we can come together. Mine is at 1:45 & Navankur has his at 1:50. My flight is to Hong Kong then to Singapore.
I’ve booked another flight from Singapore to Kuching City in Malaysia. His flight is to San Francisco and then to Raleigh, USA. This is mine.
. . San Francisco.
We have to board together. This is yours. Hong Kong one is mine and below one is Navankur's.
This is a coffee shop here. . .
Looks cute! Navankur went back as his flight was at B & mine is at E in front. After check-in, we will meet again.
An issue happened at airport. Navankur's check-in was done easily as he is going America. They checked his passport & didn't see his visa.
Then they took his bags & everything. I got stuck. She asked, if I'm going to Singapore & I said, yes.
She asked for Singapore's flight? I said it is with them & they can check. They asked where I'll go from Singapore I said, Malaysia & they asked for its ticket.
I showed that also. She asked, where I'll go from there? I said I don't know but maybe Brunei.
She asked ticket for Brunei also. I said they're worried about Singapore then Malaysia's also but why are they worried about later? They said no it is an entry requirement of having the exit ticket if you are going to Singapore.
I said, yes I've the exit ticket from Singapore to Malaysia. She said, show for Malaysia's also. I asked if they want ticket to India or anywhere from Malaysia?
She said, it can be of anywhere. I said, I'm going to a small town in Malaysia called Kuching. How to show the ticket as it's not available from there.
I will travel from bus to Brunei. I'll go to Brunei from Kuching by land. Travel time is 11-12 hours.
I said, I'm unsure how I'll travel or which bus I'll take. They said, you've to show bus ticket or something. After arguing a lot, I thought let it be & booked a flight from Singapore to India.
I said I'm not going to Malaysia. . .
Forget about this ticket, I'm going to go to India. They were quite then. But finally, after arguing they said sorry & gave me the boarding pass.
Let's go quickly, we're late. They've written Chinese at International Departure Where did Navankur get lost? Everything is done.
. security, immigration, etc. is done.
Let's go towards the boarding gate. It's almost time & 2-3 minutes to 1 pm. Boarding will start in 10 minutes.
Let's go to the boarding gate. Let's go towards the gate. My gate no.
is 10. Navankur's gate is 17. 1-10 gate no.
are straight up there. We've not eaten since morning. I had coffee, but Navankur didn't had that too.
He eats less anyway. His appetite is less. What are you ordering?
Mc Chicken. . .
Order something for me as well. I'm choosing fish. Navankur will fly in the afternoon.
. -at 1:00 He'll fly at 1 pm & land at 7 am due to the time difference as he is going USA. Tell this also that it's a 12-hour flight.
I'll stay in air for 12 hours and I'll still reach 4 hours before. . .
5 hours before. Time travel! I fought & argued with them.
. but in the end, the girl representative said sorry & gave me the corner seat. Atleast she didn't give middle seat I thought she would in anger.
But Cathway Pacific lady was nice. She said sorry for the trouble & gave me the corner seat. That's great!
! Got the window seat. Bye -Bye The journey was nice.
Why're you asking for it in the video? - I'm shaking hands Said goodbye to Navankur and he left for his flight's boarding. Our boarding times were same.
An unusual thing happened today when I was in queue before check-in; just after immigration a girl came to me. . I was feeling low.
Everyone was walking by happily so maybe she came as I was quiet & came to talk. She started asking me questions like, how was your day, What are you doing? Where are you going?
Where will you stay? So, I said, my day was fine, how are you? I said I'm going to Singapore.
& she asked, from there? I said I'll go to India after 2 days. She replied, wow!
She was talking in a friendly tone. I don't know if that was an extra check or she was talking for no reason maybe to keep the mood nice of the passengers. I don't know.
Gate 9 & 10. Here is our 10 number. Let's go on the flight.
Here I'm on my seat. The flight is 11. 5 hours long & an old couple is sitting beside me.
I'm thinking if I've to go out I'll feel embarrassed & won't feel like making them stand. I've to take some things out of my bags But I'll just sit here & pass time as they settled with difficulty. They'll have to get up if I've to go out.
This is our food menu with many options. I've become friends with uncle and aunty! !
We're all talking. Our food is here. .
. Reminded me of Morocco as we ordered Lamb Tajine that's eaten by Moroccans. I've some couscous.
I was troubled on the flight. 11-12 hours made me go crazy. Let's check our transfer once.
. We've to go to Singapore. Here it is written.
It has come, CX 659 on gate 64 for Singapore. We reached the gate. .
Here is 60 no, 61 there, 62 there, and after 63. Our gate 64 is a little ahead. On the flight, a crazy guy was sitting behind me.
A girl was with him & she was also crazy. The couple with me from New Zealand became friends with me & we talked. We kept talking.
Neither they nor I could sleep. The whole fight was up as they kept shouting and talking! !
The guy kept drinking & ordered more drinks. They kept shouting, coughing, & abusing loudly! !
The airline staff wasn't doing anything. They didn't let anyone sleep on the flight. Those two idiots!
Hence, the journey was difficult. My legs were also not fitting. It was 11-12 hour journey.
I was very troubled. Now I've booked another flight from Singapore to Malaysia. Where in Malaysia, I'll tell you later in between my journeys.
64 no. is here. No, 62, sorry!
The gate is empty as of now. . We can rest here.
There are still 3-4 hours left. This is nice! I saw it for first time at this airport.
I didn't notice last time. . There are games in it.
You can play games or anything. This is a basketball game. I've to shoot & put it in that.
Right now, I'm at departure gates. Too high. Here, this will go in!
There were games there & they've built working stations. If someone wants to work privately in cabin. Put your laptop or charger here.
This is amazing! I didn't notice it before here. There are some more working stations.
Look at this! I came and sat here. I've 1-1.
30 hours left for the flight. My feet are swollen after sitting in the flight for so long. Let's take some rest here!
I feel so tired. For real! I feel like.
. . grabbing a quilt & going to sleep.
For real, I don't feel like moving. Boarding has started. 43-44!
I'm back at the seat. My seat no. is 47K Ready for the trouble again for 3-4 hours more.
This is Hong Kong's airport. Now we'll fly to Singapore. Let's go!
! I've another flight from Singapore Airport. You'll think why I'm going toward transfer or arrival.
Reason is first I'll get my bag then I've to check in again for my next flight. It's not with same Airline or same PNR. That flight is around 11-11:30 pm.
Right now, it's 5:15 am. You can transit in Singapore for 96 hours if on Indian passport & valid American, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand. .
. Or Japan's visa. You can transit for 96 hours if you've any of these visas.
but you should have next destination's flight ticket. So I've booked 2 tickets. One is today to Kuching & another is day after tomorrow to Delhi.
I'll show one of those tickets. First I'll exit from here & will cancel one ticket. I want to go to Kuching - a city in Malaysia.
Why? I'll tell that later. Firstly, let's go to immigration.
. I've always heard a lot about Changi Airport that it's beautiful & nice. Today I'll see it myself.
Here we are at Arrival. I haven't seen immigration yet. There's no crowd & is empty as it's night.
. . sorry morning 5:30!
Transfers are there. What is this? SGAC!
I've to fill out Singapore arrival card first. It only took 2 minutes for everything. I filled online form through the scan code or QR code behind.
It asked about flight tickets where did you come from, If you have any disease, etc. I submitted it after filling it out. Then immigration gates were automatic.
A lady came for me as the gate didn't open. I guess visa is needed on Indian passport so she scanned the passport. The lady came & asked me how many days I'll stay & where I'll go?
I said I'll go to Kuching, Malaysia. She asked for flight ticket & I showed it to her. I didn't tell about India flight as for that I had to stay 2 days in Singapore & they would've asked for hotel booking.
So, I told her about the Kuching flight. She said okay & opened the gates. I asked if I can go outside & she said yes, you can.
I knew they would not ask but in Auckland they told me here they will ask for Kuching then for exit from Kuching. I'm leaving your country already no country take this trouble? For emergency I booked India's flight & didn't talk about Malaysia.
I'll stay in Singapore for 2 days & go back to India. Now, let's get my bags. Here comes our bag.
. . Orange.
Everytime I feel my bag won't come today but it comes back every time. I feel it got left behind. After crossing everything I have come outside.
This is the outside area - open & empty. It's 6:45 am. Let's go sit somewhere & rest.
We can go outside as well but nothing will be open as of now. I'll look online & go if I find something. I went to the Information counter.
I had 2 questions. First, where's the washroom? - they said, go straight then right Then I asked how to go to the city?
They said public buses are available. Go down, take a left & go a level up from other side of the road. I found baggage storage at the airport if I've to keep bags & go.
The rates are. . .
It's either. . .
$11 or $16 (₹921 or ₹1341) I washed my face and cleaned up as much as possible without showering. I've applied deo & removed my shoes. My feet were swollen, so I wore slippers.
Now, I have time as the next flight is at 11:30 & it's around 6 am right now. I still have 5-6 hours. I'll maybe keep my bags here & go explore the city a little.
I've put phone on charging. If my phone is charged, I'll leave this small bag also. If not, I'll take the small bag along & submit the big bag here.
Let's research a little about what to do here. I saw the time wrong & I don't have much time left. See, here is a watch.
It's almost 7 am or 6:55 My flight is at 11:45 am. so I'll have to come back by 9:30 am & I've 2. 5 hours left or about 1.
45 hour. On a safe side, within 1. 45 hour I've to go & return as well.
I thought why keep bags here for 2 hours, I'm going to carry them. Now I've booked a taxi but I think it won't come on this road. I don't think taxi will come here but let's see.
. I guess our location is this. My taxi has reached the location & it's not here Maybe he's ahead I've asked him & reaching there.
So, I've decided that I'll either go somewhere to eat or we can roam go around the city. It's morning & won't be crowded so I thought the best option is to go to the city as it won't take much time. If I was here in daytime it's not possible to go & come in 2 hours.
Merlion which is a statue here. There're many Merlions here but I'm going to the one in main park. Taxi costed me 21-22 SGD ($1353 or $16).
1 Singapore dollar (SGD) has ₹60-61. I guess that is my taxi at Gate no 5. This is the only one.
Liam? Hello, can I keep it in the boot? It's 7:20 already & sunrise was at 7:15 today.
But, it's cloudy & raining. so sunrise is not in our fate. But I can now see something.
Taxi driver was an amazing and friendly guy. He kept talking all the time. He told me about Singapore, himself & his life.
He works part-time. . .
Singapore is a very developed country. I've to come here again in a week or 10 days. so I'll talk later about the country's history, etc.
Whenever we'll come next time. I'm here for less time for now. He told me an interesting thing that owning or driving a car is difficult here.
My taxi fare was 21-22 SGD that's about ₹1200-1300 or $16 for 15 minutes. Singapore compared to South Asian countries is very costly Compared to Malaysia, Vietnam, or Thailand it's very costly. He said, to own a car here you have to take a certificate that's called certificate of entitlement.
COE! You get it for 10 years. Right now, it costs 1,00,000 SGD.
So, in ₹6 million you'll get the permit or certificate & then you'll be eligible to drive a car. The permit is for 10 years & you renew it again. Anyways, straight ahead is Merlion which is a popular structure of Singapore.
You must've seen pictures of it. My taxi driver told me they call it vomiting lion. He keeps vomiting water whole day.
Look here it is! ! You will see this structure whenever you see Singapore photos as it's Central Business District area.
So, this is their main area or center with Merlion their popular structure. They have many of these statues but this is the main & popular one. It's called Merlion as he's half-fish & half lion.
It's like a mermaid at the bottom & on top, is a lion face. The lion's face is called Singapura meaning Lion City that is the meaning in Malay language. Malay is one of the official language here.
They have four official languages - English, Malay, Tamil and Chinese. Even though, it's a small country but you can see how diverse it is in the demographics. There are Malay people, Malay means people of Malaysia.
There're Tamils & Chinese also. Everything nearby seems close. It's early in the morning.
You'll see this statue at many places like on souvenirs, currency, stamps. I don't think we'll ever find it empty. Firstly, I came at 7 am & then it's raining.
No one is here. There're hardly any people here. even when this is their main spot.
All tourists must be filled here. In the photo I saw this is always crowded. Because of photos and videos, my bags are wet.
Let's get out of here quickly! Have seen it enough. Let's go under a shade.
I see many people running here in the morning. All of them are running. There are many people there.
Everyone is running. What is this? From up I think main road will come.
There is a hotel. Here is something to eat. I don't want to eat this let's find something else.
I'm sitting under the bridge. That's bridge above & down here is kind of a restaurant. It has smoothies, fruit bowls & vegetable.
It's nice. There's still no proper food. I was finding something filling.
I've taken out umbrella & let's go! There's a subway nearby so we'll eat something there. I'll see what to do after that.
It shows a 1. 75 km walk from here and 16 minutes walk. I'll walk while enjoying the rain.
My feet are getting wet. It's good I changed my shoes & wore slippers. This is a bus stop.
It's an open area. It's not crowded maybe because it's the morning. We can't see much traffic as well.
Today is a working day & not weekend. It's Tuesday today. Now, I've to cross the road.
Is it pressed? Yes, it is I guess. Let's wait now for this to turn green.
He's also standing so he may've pressed it. Let's go! It's humid and I'm soaked in sweat.
Bag weighs 20-25 kg already. Everyone was crossing so I also crossed. We reached the location but I don't see a subway restaurant.
I guess, I've to go down. Marina Bay Link Mall! Yes, maybe there's an underground mall.
Let's see It says it'll open at 10 am. This is closed. Oh AC!
Feel relieved! Finally, I reached the mall & AC is on so sweat will dry. I can see the subway there.
This is the price in SGD & if you multiply it by 60 you'll get it in Indian rupees. Here is our food and water to drink. I think there's a cookie with it.
It's one foot or 12 inches - foot long sub with onion, tomatoes, lettuce & chicken. Let's eat this. Bags are safe here.
then we'll see. For this I paid, 17. 5 SGD or ₹1100 or $13.
25 I sat here for long & let's go book a taxi for airport as I'm unsure how long it'll take. I booked a taxi from the Grab App. The location is of this road.
It got a bit confusing. Will the car stop here? Let's see, first let me sit in the taxi.
Run, run run. . .
Here is our car! ! It got very confusing.
Let's reach airport first. Let's go! We're back to the airport at Terminal 4.
Let's get a trolly. It's been over 24 hours since I left New Zealand. See, how long it has been & there still more.
There's almost 5-6 hours more left. It's 30 hours of travel from start to end. My flight is Air Asia & G-1 was mentioned online I'll go to the check-in counter & confirm from the screen.
It's not on left let's go to the right one. My flight is at 11:45 - Air Asia, Kuching AK 1776! I've to go at number 4.
4 is here. Let's go Look at the crowd! !
It's too much! I've to drop this bags as well. First, I've to check in here then I've to print the boarding pass & bag tag as well.
Then I've to leave the bags there. Beniwal Paramvir Singh, that's correct. Come on!
My passport got scanned here. Now I've to check in. & what else is there?
Our bag tag will print. Here it is. Here is my boarding pass.
Let's go! This is a nice! Print your boarding pass & don't get in line for bag drop.
Maybe as it's visa free for Indians now my documents weren't checked. Generally, for it we've to stand in line. Malaysia did this thing right.
This year it's visa free for Indians. Now, I've to put my passport in. Confirm.
Bye-bye bag. Let's go! Our work is done.
Baggage receipt is also here. Let's drop the trolly and get going. I'm at departure.
When I came they didn't photo stamp as nothing happened at immigration. There were e-gates. I guess, I'll go through e-gates again.
Everything was done within 5 minutes. Let me check gate first, wait. G1!
Yes, it's the same I checked online. G1 gate! This is duty-free, that's GST Refund.
All this is duty-free area. Today I understood why they say Changi Airport is amazing. Everything was done in under 5 minutes.
From check-in to immigration, they didn't even open my bag. They said, don't take out anything just put the bag. There wasn't another checking.
Even though I had drone, laptop & power bank. Everything was there but they said it's fine & keep the bag closed. Got done in a second.
Amazing! Everything was done within 5 minutes. Now I'm at the gate inside.
This was my life's most hassle-free & fastest process of the airport. I've been to so many airports. More than 100 but still.
Right now, I really need an haircut and a shower. My face looks so bad. It's been 24-25 hours.
G1 gate is there. It's written, up to 6 minutes walk. Boarding has started.
Let's get going! I know it's such a poor airline now that I've flown with it. This was my first time with Air Asia.
I mean, I couldn't fit my legs & the exit row sit in front was empty. It was paid, but all 6 seats were empty. I asked if I could sit & they said no, it's paid.
I said, no one bought it and the flight was full & everyone was settled expect for those seats. They said, no these are paid. If those seats were not booked & that space is empty then what is the issue?
I've taken a lot of flights but no airline says no for that. But they said no. Then a lady asked me she was also troubled as they said no to her as well.
This was the situation but it's a budget airline so can't do anything. Let's go now and take bags from immigration. I don't need a visa here.
I've done an Airbnb booking. All our work is done. Immigration was done in 5 minutes.
I got stamp & got 30 days entry. I'll get my bag, then talk to you. It's crowded at the baggage belt.
Oh! Here is my bag. It's right in front.
Grab it, grab it. . .
Come! This is nice. I'm outside now & honestly till 2 days ago, I didn't know a city called Kuching exists.
Today I've come here. I'll buy internet first and buy a SIM card. Then, I'll go outside.
This is the arrival. Maybe this is a SIM card company. Unsure if there is one over there.
This is the SIM card price. Ringgit is the currency here & the value of 1 MYR is ₹17. I've bought sim car for 53 MYR that's ₹900 or $10.
74. It's no an e-sim but physical sim so I took it for backup phone - S24. Internet speed is fast.
It's a lot - 100 GB for ₹900 or $10. 74 It's 1:40 pm and the Airbnb I booked is about 20 minutes from airport. But, it's check-in time is 3 pm and it's just 1:40 now.
They messaged asking not to come before 3 pm. So, I've to pass one more hour or I'll go somewhere. I bought a sim for ₹950 and got 100 GB internet.
I've not updated my watch's time and it's 5:41 in it as per New Zealand. I left from New Zealand yesterday & woke up at 7 am and have been rushing since then. How many hours has it been?
1 cycle of 24 hours and it's 5 pm now infact 5:45 So, it's been almost 35 hours in this journey and I've still not reached my Airbnb. The journey still goes on. This is the longest journey of my life.
I'll withdraw cash in the meantime. Malaysia seems affordable to me as per the sim card rates. 1 MYR has about ₹17.
5 so I think if I withdraw ₹10-15000 ($119-178) it will be enough. So, I'll withdraw. .
. I'll get 1000 MYR (₹19000 or $226) No that'll be a lot. I'll withdraw 700 MYR (₹13000 or $155) I've entered 700 MYR.
This is about ₹11-12000. Unsure how much extra will be charged. Nothing was displayed for that.
I got the card back. Sound of notes also came. Let's see their currency.
This is their currency - Ringgit. They've kept massage chairs at airport so I thought to get it done. I'll show the price.
10 minutes for 5 MYR which is ₹85 or $1. 01 and quite cheap. 20 minutes for 10 MYR which is ₹170 or $2.
01 Let's get it done. Where to put money. .
. it went. 1,2,3,4,5,6.
. . Oh it's counting Timer started.
Okay! Oh! I came out and booked taxi from Grab app.
It's the same app as Singapore. I've put arrival gate 2 and it should be here. It's maroon color car.
. . 78 D.
It's this! My taxi! Open it!
You must be thinking why am I in Kuching in Malaysia. It's because this island is called Borneo and is divided into 3 countries - Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. You may not know about Brunei as it's a small country.
I've come to Kuching to reach Brunei. There's Brunei embassy here & I'll go there to get Brunei's visa. Then I'll fly to Brunei.
Brunei flight is either from here or from Kuala Lumpur that's Malaysia's capital city. This is the way to reach Brunei & recently I spoke to Deepanshu or Nomadic Indian and he had came here recently. Kuala Lumpur wasn't giving the visa hence I came to Kuching.
I spoke to him 2 days back about how to reach Brunei and he told me I'll get visa from Kuching. I got to know 2 days back & today I'm here. I'll check in to the apartment & rest a bit.
Tomorrow, I'll go to embassy to get Brunei's visa and then I'll fly to Brunei. I've many things to talk about from here but I'm very tired today. I can't wait to reach apartment, take a shower and sleep a bit.
I'll see if I want to go out in evening or else I'll rest as I've to upload videos from New Zealand. I'll upload all that from wifi. The taxi driver was asking me about the phone from which I'm recording so I told him it's Apple 15.
He said it's too expensive, you're rich. . .
so asked me to tip him. I said okay sure I'll give you. These are the roads of Kuching.
My Airbnb is about 5 minutes from here. Many languages are spoken here. Malay - language of Malaysia, and Chinese - Mandarin & Hokkien.
They also speak English Signboard, FM, etc are in English. He's also speaking English. I've noticed apart from 2-4 countries educated people or those not living in village speak atleast 2 languages.
Apart from some countries like US, England, Australia, etc. having native speakers or French speakers, Spanish speakers, Someone from a small village might know only one language as most people know more than one. This is where I'm staying.
. . This seems like a huge area.
Looks amazing! I booked Airbnb here. I'll get down.
I'll also tip him as taxi costed me less. Maybe for first time in life, I tipped for almost how much ride costed. I booked taxi from Grab and it was so cheap.
In 14 MYR (₹268 or $3. 20) I came here from airport. 25 minutes ride or 16-17 kms for about ₹250.
I tipped him 10 MYR (₹191 or $2. 29) If I had not tipped 1/2 hour ride for just ₹250. What is he saving as he might give to Grab as well.
This is where I've to go. The owner of Airbnb sent me a big message on WhatsApp on how to reach. Sherlock Holmes is needed to decode the message.
15-20 photos telling where & what to do. Let's decode first. I missed one step and went to next step.
So, I've come back again to go to car park for the first step. It's very confusing. There's a mailbox here and I've to get keys from it maybe.
This is for Block B and that's for Block A. I've to find flat number. It opened.
I got the key. Let's go outside again. I got in lift, tapped the key & entered my floor.
After so much investigation, I think I've come to the right place. Yes, I've come to the right place This is my apartment. Let's turn on the light.
Lock the door. Oh man, I'm tired. This is the balcony.
See the house once. This is the apartment in Kuching, Malaysia. Here's fridge, etc.
Oven and basic things. What's this? Slide to open.
. . house looks good.
There's washing machine too. This is the sink. This might be the bathroom.
This is the bed and a sofa. This is TV, etc. Let's go out.
I took fresh air already. This was the biggest journey of my life. I'll show you the time.
See, the time. This is New Zealand time. It's 7 pm exactly.
7 am yesterday as per this watch I started my trip. I woke up at 7 am, then we had to return our campervan at Auckland airport then rushed for check-in. I've been rushing since 36 hours non-stop.
I was in New Zealand, in fact south island of New Zealand. So we came to north island, then I went to Hong Kong, then to Singapore, and explored it a bit. Took flight the same day for Kuching, Malaysia to reach this island, then took a taxi to this building for my Airbnb.
If you've travelled this much non-stop then do tell me as I think there will be very less people. 36 hours non-stop travel in flight, taxi, buses, walking with the bag. It was a shoulder bag not suitcase and travelled with them.
I'm very tired. See, there's a pool as well. There's a lake.
He's cleaning the pool. It's peaceful. Amazing condominium!
Many huge buildings. I've to apply Brunei visa tomorrow from Brunei's embassy. I deserve a lot of rest today but after shower I might do some work like eating, etc.
I don't have the energy to record so I'll end this here. I hope you found the journey interesting where I'm in rain, sweating. .
. Oh man! Exhausted!
Hope you liked it. I'll end the video here. Thank you so much for watching.
I hope you've a great day. Maybe Malaysia is my 94-95th country. Okay, bye-bye!
