on this video we're gonna talk about marketing your property so marketing your property this is where you have a lot of different choices and real estate agents that do a lot of different things for marketing but when we look at our job what's the job of your agent the job of your agent is to connect your property with a buyer that's it that's the end goal of this process is to connect an end buyer to your property and a lot of the way we do that is through our marketing efforts and I want to try
to simplify it we do a lot of things but I don't want to go through a list of you know a hundred different things that we do I want to give you a simple overview of how we market at the Rockhouse Realty Group so you have traditional marketing right which is print which is open houses which is door hangers cold calling all that type of stuff that's really the traditional type of things that people do for marketing and then you have digital Digital is say a website right or a blog or anything that's online that
is driving somebody to a website to try to capture their information the third thing which we really thrive on is social media social media could be considered digital media but we like to have it in its own section because it's really so powerful beyond what just the normal digital advertising is and it's those three things that we use when we market your property but the really powerful thing is that we we will leverage them and we put them together and make them work together to get more people to see your house example we we have
a team of agents which means we have a lot more agents at our disposal to do open houses so our houses have more opens at them than the average listing simply because we have more people to do open houses one of the things we like to do before open houses is do door hangers okay so you throw a door hanger on neighbors doors so they're aware that there's an open house that means more neighbors should come to the open house that's a traditional marketing method but we also try to get people to go to our
website from that door hanger that's now a digital marketing idea right so we're taking traditional and we're pushing them to a website which is digital and then from there we have our Facebook page where we have information about your listing we have a video about your listing we have a property page about your listing we can then advertise your listing to the people that signed up on our website so now you take one door hanger that goes on your neighbor's door and now they're seeing a website with your property on it and now they're also
seeing you on social media and then we can also advertise the next open house on social media which again goes back to that neighbor that gets the door hanger so we do a lot of video we get professional photography we have a large audience on social media that we get to market your listing to when you're looking at working with an agent who says they use social media using social media is only as good as the audience that you have on social media so if we didn't have a big audience on social media we wouldn't
have as much power to market there and that's why we do very well on social media because we've built such a great audience over the last couple years so marketing is super important when we look at getting your listing sold because it's gonna be people's first impression now the first person when they walk in the door is important but a lot of times you can lose people just the first time they see pictures of it or the first time they see a video if you're not presenting well on those online platforms you can miss out
