Season 2 of the Faith Cast is out now and it's called The Seeker. My kids, we always sell stuff on Facebook Marketplace or give stuff away cuz we just they have too much stuff. So then they will ask us like, "What are we Selling this for?" and almost like, "Are we okay? Do we need money?" And I'm like, "No, you guys need less stuff. That's what you need." So, they always be like, "Where's
my car? Did you sell it?" [laughter] >> So funny. >> Subconsciously, [clears throat] we think, "We're in control of this prayer time, and then we're going to do this, and then this is going to happen." But I think giving up control is Something where we have to say, "Okay, well, Lord, um, your will be done, and you lead me." And my answer is yes. So much of what God does in our lives is through the body. >> And so for us as people, we have to be open and ready to bless people. But then on
the flip side, >> you got to put yourself out there >> and you got to say, "Here's what I'm struggling with. Here's what we're dealing with." And allow people then to >> cuz that's the beauty of God's family. It's like a bunch of people listening each other up and blessing each other. >> And so it's twofold. >> Subscribe on Apple Podcast, Spotify, [music] YouTube, or the Faith app. Listen or watch today. [music] Exciting things are happening at Faith. Here's a look ahead. [music] We encourage you to connect, grow, serve, and reach here at Faith. So
stay Connected through the Faith app or our website. [music] Have a blessed week. >> Amen. Amen. God is good. Has he been good to you? >> Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, we're going to continue worshiping as we collect God's tithes in our kingdom builders offering. That's where we get excited. And if you're joining us online, we're so glad that you're joining us. Hey, do not miss out on this opportunity. Join in with what God is doing in this house. Choose To give today. Well, we're super excited. There are two steps of giving here. That first step
is giving our tithes, which is 10% of our income that belongs to the Lord. We give that first and foremost, and God blesses it. And then the second step which we're always so excited about is the kingdom builders where we give. It's the step of generosity. It's the above tithe giving where we choose to partner with what God is doing not only in this church but Across this city, across the the country, across this world. And it's amazing. So, thank you again, Faith Church, for deciding to be generous givers and participating in this time of
worship. We're going to go to the Lord in prayer and then we'll give you an opportunity to give. Bow your heads with me. Jesus, we thank you. We love you. We give you all the glory. Thank you, God, that we give because you have given to us first, God. So, I pray that we would Give with generous hearts, with with with praise and worship in our hearts, God. We we pray that you would bless this offering that it would go forward to build your kingdom, God. We pray for every single person in this room, every
family that's represented, we pray your hand over their lives. You are the provider. So, we pray, God, that you would move in those situations where we need you, God. We thank you. It's in your name that we pray. Amen. And amen. Well, God bless you. If you have a physical offering, ushers will pass pass pass by. If you have a digital offering, you can scan that tap code or follow any other instructions on the screen. God bless you as you give. And for all the married folks, throw your hands in the air. My married people
at. Okay. Okay. Where my engaged people at? You know what I'm saying? You about to? You excited? Yeah. In the back. Let's get it. Hey, turn your attention to the Screens. Check this out. Strong marriages aren't built by accident. They're built when couples choose to slow down, reconnect, and reinvest in the relationship. They require intentional effort and the support of our faith community along the way. We've designed an evening just for that, to encourage, strengthen, and renew your marriage as we grow together. Join us Sunday, [music] February 15th at our Curry Ford campus as we
gather Together for the Better Marriage Conference. Whether you're married or engaged, this evening was designed for you. [music] Featuring a powerful word from guest speaker Dan Leanne. Even though you're smiling and holding hands, half of the people in this room are going through a storm. May this be the booming soundtrack of your marriage as you walk through a storm. He is still in your boat. Come on, squeeze your spouse's Hand. Say, "We're going to get to the other side." And what you're actually going through right now in your marriage is actually you're set up to
experience Jesus in the most full, rich, and beautiful 4D ultra. You know what I'm saying? Don't miss it. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with [music] child care and dinner provided for kids 10 and under. So take this simple, intentional step towards a godly and better marriage. >> Amen. And amen. I'm looking forward to that. Come on, somebody give God praise in this place today. I'm so thankful to be a part of a church that believes in healthy marriages. Come on. And uh you know, not to be cheesy, but the Bible does call us the bride
of Christ. And just for a moment, we are going to celebrate what the groom, what Christ has done uh for us. And we believe in open communion here. So, if you didn't receive the elements when you came in at Any of the doors and you're a believer in Jesus, please partake [music] with us today. you can raise your hand and our ushers are coming down the aisle right now if you didn't receive any of the elements and kind of as we're preparing to to join this communion table uh together. I want to say this. I
want to remind us of what communion really is. Uh it it's not a ritual. It's not a religious box we have to check. We're not just doing this because it's on the Service order. Uh communion is about remembering. It's about remembrance. But but even so much more than that, it's about reentering. uh we take a moment just to pause and uh think about what Jesus has actually done for all of us. It it's about us leaning into the power of the cross, his his mercy and his forgiveness. You know, we start thinking about communion. Uh
it's really interesting how it pulls us back to Jesus gently. Life is crazy. Uh there's A lot of noise, a lot of priorities, expectations. It's pulling us in all these different directions. And when we uh think about communion, it brings us right back to Jesus. [music] And Jesus is so kind. It it says that his body was broken for us. And the bread represents that his the fact that he was broken, we couldn't be made whole. Jesus didn't take any shortcuts. He didn't uh try to take the easy way out. And because of his broken
body, all of us can be made Completely whole. It it also tells us about the blood. The blood of Christ uh in the blood of Christ is forgiveness for many sins. because of the blood of Jesus. Come on, we are forgiven. We are redeemed. We are set free. Come on, thank God that we have purpose because of the blood of Jesus. And here's the beautiful thing. The blood of Jesus uh was not poured out for us because we deserve it. The blood of Jesus was not poured out for us because we earned it. No, the
blood of Jesus was poured out because God is gracious and he's merciful and he cares about us deeply. And so the Bible invites us as we consider communion to examine our lives, not to beat ourselves up or look down on ourselves, but to come to God honestly and say, "God, whatever you want to do, you can do it in my life." So if you're tired today, the communion table's for you. If you're frustrated today, this [music] moment is for you. If you're Struggling today, this moment is for you. And if you're strong today, guess what?
This moment is for you. G Jesus said it like this. He took the bread and I want to invite you uh to to [music] approach the bread with me. He said when uh Jesus took the bread, he said, "This is my body that was broken for you." I want to pray over the bread today. Uh and [music] then we're going to take it together. Father, we thank you uh that your body was broken, Jesus, for uh for For our sins. Uh because you were broken and gave up your body, we could be made whole. Not
just whole physically, but mentally and emotionally. Lord, we thank you for laying down your life for us. Lord, we pray for anybody who needs a touch of God in their body, in their mind, in their heart, wherever it is a fracture today. God, touch them today in Jesus mighty name. Would you partake of the bread with me today? It says in that same manner, Jesus took A cup and he said, "This cup is part of my new covenant for you in my blood for the forgiveness of many sins." I just want to testify today that
because of Jesus shedding his blood, come on, all sins are forgiven. Come on. Because Jesus shed his blood, all mistakes are wiped away. Come on. Because Jesus said his blood, we have a hope and a future. Thank God for the blood of Jesus. [music] Just want to pray over this cup of juice Today that represents the blood of Jesus before we partake it. Jesus, thank you for your blood that [music] washes us as white as snow. Because of your blood, Lord, all of our sins are forgiven and we can be made completely right with God.
Lord, because of your blood, our faith is not a faith of effort, but one of grace. Jesus, we honor you today and we bless the name that is above every other name, the name of Jesus Christ, as we partake today. Amen. And amen. You can drink the juice with me today. And church, if you wouldn't mind standing today. Come on. Can we just begin to thank God for just a moment? Listen, I I don't know what you come into this room carrying today, but I know our God deserves praise. Come on. Can you just lift
up your voice for a second today? Come on, Faith Church Orlando. Can you give God a shout of praise? Oh, he's so good. I'll say it like this today. We believe that because of what God has done for us that there is power in prayer. We know that our God hears us. So, we're going to invite our prayer team to come down right now. And if you need a touch in any way in your body today, if you need a touch in your family today, if you're just saying, "Man, I need God to move in
my life greatly. You need prayer for absolutely anything, you can join us as the worship team is about to lead us in A song of surrender and celebration." Man, I invite you to come to these altars and encounter Jesus with us today. God bless you. Come on. Is anybody out there believing in the victory that Jesus Christ won for us through the finished work of the cross? Come on. If you believe the enemy is defeated today, can we join together with our faith as we praise the Lord that the cross has the final word. Even
as folks come to these altars, we Declare the cross has [music] the final [singing] word. We believe that the cross has the final word. Sorrow may come. [music] Sorrow [singing] may come in the darkest night, but the cross has the final word. Our Jesus is victorious and we declare the cross. The cross [music] has the final [singing] Word. The [music] cross has the final [singing] word. Evil may put up a fight today. Evil [music] may put it strongest [singing] fight, but the cross has the final word. [music] I believe that's reason for celebration today, that
the enemy is defeated, [music] that Jesus is victorious and we're victorious in him. If that's your Testimony, want you lift your hands high [music] and sing out loud. The cross, the cross has the final [music and singing] word. Yes. The cross [singing] has the final word. The Savior has come. The Savior [music] has come [singing] with the morning light. The cross [music] has [singing] the final word. For [music] the cross, the cross has the Final word. [music and singing] Thank you, Lord. The cross has the final [singing] word. He traed death. [music] He traed dead
for eternal [music] life. The cross has the fin away. Oh, and we're so thankful, [music] Jesus. Oh, Lord Jesus, we're thankful for salvation today by the finished work of your cross. We're so thankful for Victory over [music] the plans of the enemy that his word is no longer void is no longer valid in our lives. Oh, but that [music] your word stands forever over us. That we are your sons and your daughters. [music] And because of that, we lift your name high as we declare this today [music] with confidence that there's nothing stronger and nothing
[music and singing] higher and nothing greater Than the [music and singing] name of Jesus. And all the honor and all the power and all the glory to the name [music and singing] of Jesus. That's why there's nothing stronger. Oh, nothing higher. [music] There's nothing gater in the [music] name of Jesus. All the honor, All the power. Yes. All the glory [music] to the name of it. There's nothing stronger. >> [music] >> Nothing is higher, nothing is greater [music] than the name of Jesus and all the power. [music and singing] The power is yours. is yours
To the name [music] of Jesus. [music] [music] Sing the Savior [music] has come the morning. The cross has the fire [music] away. One more time we say the cross [music] away. Thank you Jesus. [music] The cross the fin [singing] [music] the cross and the fire. [music] Somebody that's found freedom in the cross, can you give him praise? Somebody that's found new life in the cross, can you give him praise? Somebody who's thankful for the victory of Jesus. Can you give him praise today? [music] >> Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy are you, Lord. [music] We praise you.
[singing] We praise you. [music] In the darkness, we were [singing] waiting without hope and without light. [music] Till from heaven you [singing] came running. There was mercy in your eyes. To fulfill the [singing] law and prophets to a virgin [music] came the word. From a throne [singing] of endless [music] glory to a cradle in the dirt. [music] Is anybody grateful? He's so worthy. So we praise the [singing and music] Father, praise the son, praise the [singing] spirit, three [music] in one. God [singing] of glory, mesty, [music] praise [singing] forever to the king of kings. [music]
Yes, we praise [singing] you, Lord, to reveal [music] the kingdom coming and to reconcile [singing] the lost [music] to redeem the whole creation. You did not [music and singing] despise the cross. For even in your suffering, [music] you saw to the [singing] other side, knowing this was our salvation. Jesus for our sake you [music] died. [singing] He did it freely. So we praise in Response we say [music] praise the [singing] father. We praise the son. Praise [music and singing] the spirit. You're three in one. He's God [music] [singing] of glory. Majesty [music] we praise [singing]
forever to the king [music] of kings. Yes, we praise you. [music] The morning that you rose, [singing] all of heaven held its [music] breath. Till that stone [singing] was moved for good. For the lamb had conquered death [music] and the dead rose from their [singing] tombs and the angels stood in awe. For the souls [music and singing] of all who come to the father are restored and the [singing] church of Christ was born. [music] Then the spirit lit the flame. Now this [music] gospel truth of All shall not heal. It shall not fade. By [music]
his blood and in his name in his freedom [music and singing] I am free. For the love of Jesus Christ who has resurrected. [singing] [music] We praise you Jesus. We praise the [music] father. >> Come on with hands lifted. >> Praise the >> praise the holy spirit. [music] You're free in one. [music] Your god [singing] of glory, majesty. [music] Praise forever [singing] to the [music] king of kings. Praise the [singing] praise the [music] son. Praise the spirit. [music] One God [singing] of glory, Majesty. [music] Praise [singing] forever to the king of kings. [music] Praise [singing]
forever to the King of [music] Kings. >> Praise forever. Praise forever to the King of [music] Kings. Come on, let's give him praise across Every location. Come on, give him the kind of praise that the King of King deserves. Lord, we give you praise. [music] We honor you. We bless you, God. Oh, stir us, oh God, we pray. Hallelujah. Man, I've sensed God in this place. I know you sense God where you're at. Come on. Would you would you give God just one more time? Let's take 10 more seconds and let's give God Amen. He
deserves it. He's worthy. He's Good. Amen. God bless you. You can be seated. I am so glad to see you today. Y'all are my favorite people. All right? And I mean this at every location. I'm glad to see you as well. Uh our just want to welcome our campuses right now. Redbug Lake campus, our Michigan Street campus, our Narusi Road campus. Today's service streamed at the Central Florida Reception Center. Come on, let's give God thanks for what he's doing at every single location and more to come in Jesus name. And so yes, I am so
glad you're here and can't wait to get into the word today. Today's going to be a little bit unique, but man, you are here because uh God knew what he was doing. And so, I'm I'm glad that you're here. If you're watching on the screen somewhere else, um we're glad that you are and lean in and be a part of this in every way. Um and then we also look forward to the time, the next time you're here with us in person because It's even better in person. All the inerson people said amen at every
location. Come on. when you get with God's people, it's just uh there's just something uh that kind of multiplies what God's doing. And so uh at every location, we're so glad that you're here. If you got your Bibles, you can go to Matthew chapter 6. We've been in Matthew chapter 6, of course, uh since the last Sunday of last year and all through so far this year. And so we're Going to stay there today as well. But before I jump into the word, let me just mention something that's happening in three weeks. In three weeks,
it's Super Sunday. Somebody say Super Sunday is coming up. And this is a this is a special Super Sunday because it almost it almost didn't happen. We almost didn't have a Super Sunday here at Faith this year because God's favorite football team is not in the playoffs this year. Yeah. The Kansas City Chiefs. And so I had to pray and say, "Lord, can we still do it?" He's like, "You can still do it, but I'm not, you know, it won't be the same." I said, "That's true. It won't be the same, but we're going to
do it. And it's going to be incredible. And there are tickets at every location. And listen to me. Um I love I love when people bring people to church. People bring people to church every single week. And uh that is powerful. But there are a couple Sundays Of the year that we say, "Hey, y'all got to bring somebody with you when you come." And so for the next three weeks, I want you to be thinking about that, praying about that, who you bringing on Super Sunday. It's a Sunday that everybody knows because you can say
Super Sunday. They know the date already. And uh we're going to preach a very clear gospel message. And we're going to see we're going to see so many people saved. And so let's let's let Some of the people that get saved be your friends that you invite and your co-workers and your neighbors. Somebody say amen. And so that's that's coming up in three weeks. All right, let me read this text. And as we have been saying kind of our theme, this would be our theme text for the year because this year for the whole year,
um we're we're thinking about what it what it looks like for us to be seekers. seekers after God's will uh for our lives, seekers After God's presence, and seekers after God using us and using us to help seek and save that which is lost. And so obviously a lot of verses talk about seeking. But we said if there was one verse that kind of summed all that up for us this year, so I guess sort of our verse for the year if you want to say it that way, it would be Matthew chapter 6 verse
33. But seek first his kingdom. Some of y'all got it memorized already now because we we've been reading this. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Today I'm going to preach uh and and talk about how you treat your treasure. How you treat your treasure. And uh when I say your treasure, maybe I should say how you treat God's treasure. Cuz part of seeking first the kingdom uh you know what a true kingdom, a true monarchy, the king owns it all. So did you
know you don't own anything That you have anyway? Everything you have belongs to God. So we're going to pray about what it looks like how we treat the treasure that God has entrusted to us. And uh so let's pray and ask God to speak to us today. Father, we ask you to to uh speak to us. I ask you to anoint this word with a fresh anointing. I pray God that you would stir up passion for you. Lord, as we have gathered here, give us a greater passion just for you and for what you Are
doing in our lives, what you are doing through our lives. We bless you and we love you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. When I was like 15 or 16, 17 around that age range, I got this brilliant idea. I took all the money I had, which at the time was, you can imagine, massive amounts of money. It was probably like about about $6 or something like that. But I started doing this thing. I would take my my dollars, and it back then it was it was dollars. It was, you know, it was physical money. Uh,
and I I would I would take it and I would write on the physical money with a good ink pen. I would say, uh, property of Johnny Wilson. And I said, "If found, please return to." And I put my address on there. And I was doing that for a minute on all my dollar bills. Somebody say, "Pastor, that's illegal." I know. I was like that. Okay. Jesus saved me uh from a life of marking up dollar bills with a Pen. And uh so I I would write that. Can you imagine my shock one day when
my mom comes and says, "Hey, you got a letter in the mail." And I open up the letter and outside I pull out of that envelope is one of my dollar bills. And it was a little note from somebody. The the person on the note said, "Hey, Johnny. Uh, I accidentally got one of your dollar bills when I got changed at the store." And I see that this belongs to you and so you might need it. So, here You go. And sign their name and put a little smiley face. And I was like, "Man, that's
incredible." Uh, showed that that's probably a generous person who's willing to do something like that. Kind of play along and uh but it also kind of sparked something. I mean, I'm thinking I may have to never have to work again. A day in my life. Are you kidding me? I'll just start writing down. And so it gave me an idea for Kingdom Builders this year. Before I get To that idea, I got to tell you what Kingdom Builders is and then we're going to tell you about the idea that we have uh that that was
inspired by my idea in when I was 16 years old. But today's going to be a little bit unique because it's a a bit of a probably stakeholders and we want to make sure and explain to you what Kingdom Builders is. And there's a a magazine that you can grab today in all the lobbies of all the locations that Kind of help explain Kingdom Builders. We'll have those out this week and next week. Um, and so you can grab uh one of those. But let me talk a little bit about what Kingdom Builders is because
I want you to know you you attend a church that does not does not just believe that we are called to impact our city. You attend a church that believes that we are called to impact the world. Now, there are some churches that spend the Most of their energy on impacting their city. And I'm not even saying that's wrong. But God has stirred something up in us that yes, we're going to change the city of Orlando, but we're also going to change the world. And when we come together, we just believe that we can change
the world. Does anybody just sense that that that in this room and and where you're at that we can change the world? And so, yeah, you attend that kind of church. And so, Kingdom Builders Is really our way of doing that. And somebody, I'm sure there's a lot that are new and you hear us talk about Kingdom Builders, but you don't know exactly maybe what it is. And so, um, I want to kind of go through just what Kingdom Builders is. Kingdom Builders is kind of a a mutual fund of missions and ministry all over
the world. And so, uh, there would be times in the past where maybe we would, uh, we would have somebody come in from a certain ministry And we would receive an offering for that ministry, then the next week we might receive an offering for a different ministry and that that kind of thing. Well, what Kingdom Builders does is Kingdom Builders takes these multiple partners and and missionary organizations and ministry partners all over the world and it starts to just kind of combine them into one fund called Kingdom Ocean. And so it's stuff that you would
give to anyway like like Live Dead for instance is is an organization that that uh has decided uh to to to send missionaries to the places of the world that are that are unreached. There are places in the world that about 40 over 40% of the world is still unreached by the gospel. There are there are places in in the world where um less than 1% are Christian, which what's that mean? It means somebody could ask all the friends they know. They could ask all the friends they know And still not find a Christian. Well,
live dead sends missionaries. You'd want to be a part of that. You know what Convoy of Hope is doing? That's that's one that I know you'd want to be a part of. uh uh FIA and and and Project Rescue are both working together to uh to rescue people and and young ladies from sexual slavery and sexual trafficking. And um Fiat is is is in uh the country of Spain, which is like the second by by uh the second most uh activity of of Sexual trafficking in the world. So if if we had somebody come from
that, you you would want to give towards that. So that's that's why they're here. Um, Jerusalem School of uh, Jerusalem School of Bethlehem is one of our new partners this year. You're going to hear more about that in February, but they're in Bethlehem, not too far from the Gaza Strip. There are Christians kids and Muslim kids, uh, uh, uh, Jewish kids and Palestinian kids in this school finding Christ in there together. Come on. Only Jesus can do that, right? And we would want to be a part of something like that. And they're maxed out. They
have like 800 students. They need a building. You'd want to be a part of that. So, they're part of of what we're doing. God behind bars, uh, which is how we're able to be in our Central Florida reception center campus, is is God behind bars. But, let me I'm going to read you a text that we got, um, a couple weeks ago from A family friend who used to be very involved here at the church, and this is years and years and years ago. And this is what she wrote to my wife. She said, "Good
morning. A long time, my friend, in connecting, but and then she said her son's name. I'll leave that out just I don't want to mention that. But she said you know his name we we know him. She said see she said my son is in jail. She said he's and it's she listed the city. It's up in the far uh Pacific Northwest About as far from us as it could be. So he's in jail. And she said but he was able to watch your service from last week with Pastor Johnny preaching on his tablet that
the jail provided for him. Faith Assembly is on his tablet. She said, she said, "I'm assuming that this is God behind bars." Which it is. And she said, "But not sure." Nonetheless, he was really stoked about it. So, I wanted to tell to let you and PJ know that. That's me. Let you and PJ know That you are making a difference and impacting the world for the Lord. It's probably the first sermon he has heard in over two years. Come on. So, we talk about Amen. >> [applause] >> We talk about God behind bars and
we talk about Central Florida Reception Center, but through our investment in them, our our ministries act, we don't we don't even know the impact it's making making across the whole country. Um, Africa's Hope uh ministry and and missions efforts in the continent of Africa, Choices Women's Clinic, which is giving right here in in our city, but it's a ministry that provides opportunities and other options for young ladies that are and women that are considering abortion. uh uh student missions trips. We actually we actually help in with with our Faith Christian Academy, our school here. We
actually help send seniors right after they Graduate from high school. We help through Kingdom Builders. We help them. We help send them on a missions trip. And we offset the cost almost almost half of the cost of the trip. We offset that through Kingdom Builders. You go, why do you do that? Why do you do that? Because kids are coming back from those trips feeling a call to missions. God wrecks them and does something in their life and they feel a call to missions. We've we've Committed as a church, we're going to raise up a
100 missionaries and have 100 missionaries on the field. Well, Kingdom Builders helps us do that. Somebody say amen. Come on. Narusi Road campus and they're they're cheering when I hold this up. I know. But they're meeting they're meeting at at Narusi Elementary School right now, but we have 20 acres on Narusi Road. We're going to build a building that's going to start construction will start this year on it. And Kingdom Builders, come on. Kingdom Builders helps do that. >> [applause] >> Builders International, which is a a ministry that builds churches all over the world. And
listen, I know I I just mentioned, right, we're building a church here. And we could take all of our funds and just go, "Hey, yeah, but we're building a church." That's not the heart of God. Like I I I've I've just felt God really in the last couple of Weeks, I want to double our efforts of of investing in building new churches and church plants all over the world. I want to double that this year than than what we did. Even though we're building a church, I want to help other people build churches. Come on,
somebody say amen. And um Oh, look at this one. Over,200 over 1,200 missionaries we we support through Kingdom Builders. Now, let me tell you a story. I was I was um at a meeting recently with some of the Pastors from the top missions giving churches in our movement. Okay? [crying] And so, there was a guy who was speaking in a session and he's the uh director of world missions for the Assemblies of God. Okay, that's that's the network we're part of the So, he's doing this session. He's talking all the we're all listening all these
pastors and he kind of stops in the section in the session for a second. He said, "Pastor Johnny," he said, "Do you know how many Missionaries you guys support?" Put me on the spot in front of everybody. And I was like, "Well, I don't know the exact number." I said, "I think it's between 1,200 and 1300." He goes, "I know the exact number." And he said, "It's 1,250 something." I still don't know the exact number even though he told me. Here we go. Uh, he said, "I know what it is." He said, "Did you know
that you support more missionaries than any other church in the whole nation? You support more Missionaries than any church in our movement." [applause] And I I didn't know that. Um, and I want to say thank you for your generosity. And I trust me, these missionaries say thank you. I had funny. I had pastors come up to me after that session and they were saying, "How do you find the missionaries?" I said, "Oh, we don't have to find them. And trust me, they find us. All right. When word gets out that we are just a quick
yes, when you Say yes to God, they find us. And so, fire Bible training uh pastors all over the world with study Bibles, uh Teen Challenge, life controlling issues. So, you would give if we took offerings each week and extra offerings for all these different things. Man, most of you would give to all of those because you believe in what God is doing through them. And so what Kingdom Builders does is say when you give to Kingdom Builders, you are changing the world. Come on. That's Why that's we just wanted to make it simple and
put it all together and say that's what kingdom build that's what a kingdom builder is. And so Kingdom Builders is not a partner. Kingdom Builders is not another organization. You are Kingdom Builders and we are Kingdom Builders. And by way of of celebration, I want to announce what our kingdom builder total was for uh for 2025. And uh and so I said by way of Celebration, so we're getting ready to celebrate, but last year you gave towards Kingdom Builders um in 2025 2,200,93567. Oh, come on. Thank God for that impact. [applause] given towards ministries that
are changing the world and we and you're a part of that. And in case maybe somebody here is kind of wondering, well, how does that happen? And how do we get to to that number? Which by the way, our Our goal for 2026 is um is $3 million. Okay. Now, I've uh when we announce a goal like that, sometimes I make a statement like this. I say, um, and I think we can do it. Well, I do think we can do it. Sometimes I say, I know we can do it. And I do know we
can do it. But church, I want you to hear me very clearly. I'm not saying that I think we can. And I'm not saying that I know we can. What I'm saying today is that we need to we need To do this. We need to come together because the impact is too great and the need is too real. And so we we need to do this. And so I what I want us to think about is what it looks like for us to accomplish that. I want to show you again I said today's a little
bit different and so um hang with us but I want to show you kind of how we got to that 2.2 million this year. So I'm going to put up a a chart here that shows kind of how Kingdom Builders is is funded by You. And so we have up at the top of the chart we have 1,400 plus people who gave between zero well I guess they gave between $1 or one penny or whatever to $100. And you go well that's a small amount. They should do more than that. Yeah but look what that
small amount of up to $100,400 of them. Look what that look that amounted to. $58,000. The next level down you see or next level up I guess you could say, but between $100 and $500 we had that's the Largest group. Almost a thousand people gave between 100 and $500 last year to kingdom builders. Well, look what that totaled. $253,000. The next one uh 300 plus gave between $500 and $1,000 totaling $229. So you can go on down and see that on the on the list. 386 gave between $1,000 and $5,000 through the year towards Kingdom
Motors. That that totaled our largest dollar number uh almost $800,000 from from Those that gave 1,000 to 5,000. We have 5,000 to 10,000. 40 people gave in that window of giving to Kingdom Builders and it it equal 271. We had 15 people that gave from 10,000 to 25,000 totaling 215. We had three people give between 25,000 and 50,000 to kingdom builders. And then we had uh four people give between 50,000 and $100,000 to kingdom builders. Now we right now if you see last year, you see a zero on the 100,000 plus. And I'm just telling
you now um that we are Already on pace that I can with all certainty say there there will that will be populated next year that that 100,000 plus. It is going to be populated like like I'm not speaking by faith. Like it's already kind of there. We're we're doing it. And so um I show that graph and I take the time to do this for two reasons. One, I do it because I want you to understand because sometimes the devil will lie to you. And when you hear numbers like 2.2 million, you go, "Well, My
my little that I'm giving towards kingdom builders, that's not making a difference." That's not what that chart says. Now that chart says that there are people who are given between 500 and a thousand and it's equaling when when when we pull it together. It's making a massive impact. So this kingdom builders is not driven by a small few. No, it's driven by all of us saying yes, saying I'll be a part of this. I I want to make a difference with what God has resourced Me with with what God has trusted me with. I want
to figure out what I need to do in my life to be a part of this and how I need to live differently or budget differently because it is making a difference. And so, uh, wherever you're at and let's do this. Let's if you as best you can try to figure out where you're at on that chart. So, maybe some of you aren't on aren't on the chart yet. And well, then this year's the year to get on the chart. Okay, Great. But if you are on the chart, I'm not even going to factor in
for a second uh those that are going to start giving to kingdom builders this year. We will have new people that become kingdom builders this year above tithe giving to make a difference around the world. We'll have more people do that. New people do that. I'm not even counting that yet. But watch if all of us figured out what tier that we are on and we decided to go up a Level. We decided I'm Let's do this. What if we just asked God and said, "God, what would it take for me to jump to a
different level? What kind of change in my life? What kind of change in my behavior? What kind of how would I have to manage my my my life or my money differently? What would it take for me to jump to a next level?" And the reason why I ask you to consider that today, and I want you to be considering that over the next seven days, just what Would it look like for for our family to jump to the next level? The reason why I present that is because if all of us that are represented
on that from last year just jumped to the minimum of the next level. If all of us did that, and I know and I know not all of us can, but if all of us did, our giving without counting anybody new coming in, our giving would go from 2.2 million to 4.2 million next year. Come on. If we just would jump a level. And so I just want You to be thinking about praying about how it looks and how you might be able to jump a level. And before you think that I want I'm doing
this because I want something from you. That's not how this is. I'm doing this because I want something for you. I want your life to be blessed. I want your business to be blessed. I want your professional life to be blessed. I want your family to be blessed. I want your home to be blessed. Your kids and your grandkids to be Blessed and your great grandkids to be blessed. And so, uh, man, generosity will unlock that. What if, what if kind of figuring out a a a better pace on my path to generosity? What if
that is what brings a an absolute new blessing on my life? And I believe that it will. So, I have an idea. Back to my idea with Kingdom Builders for next year. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to go out and just buy a bunch of stuff all through the year. I mean, stack it up, Store it up, buy new things, buy new clothes, buy more jewelry, buy go to restaurants, but go to more expensive restaurants. Now, here's the catch. When you go, you can't pay with your credit card. You got
to pay with cash. I want you to start carrying big old wads of cash. And everywhere you go, pay with cash. And what I want you to do on those $100 bills, when you're out there spending like crazy and just and you're just buying all this stuff, you get Where I'm going, right? Grab those $100 bills and get your marker out and be like, uh, if found property of Faith Church Orlando, Kingdom Builders, please return to and then we're going to put the address on there for your campus and then we're going to see we're
going to sit back and it's going to be awesome because you're just going to get more and more and more stuff. But man, Kingdom Builders is going to be funny because we're going to sit back and Watch these envelopes full of money just pour into the church. Uh, some of you don't believe me. I don't believe me either. It's illegal for one. So, we can't do that. It's not how we're supposed to treat money. And it's kind of the opposite of what Jesus said, isn't it? In Matthew chapter 6, that same chapter we're in in
verse 19, Jesus, well, to say it's not what he said, it's actually the opposite of what he said. And this Verse, verse 19, I don't know earlier uh a few months back. I read this verse and it it jumped the first part of it jumped out to me where Jesus said, "Don't do not it's like a it's a command. We we better understand this command from Jesus. He says in verse 19, do not store up for yourselves treasure on earth where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But verse 20, store
up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and Vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be. Also, Jesus is talking about our treasure. We got we got to ask ourselves, are are we are we generous people? Because that's what Jesus is calling us to hear. Are are we are we generous people? And some of us go, I I want to be generous and I I will be generous as soon as I make such and such amount. Can I tell you, I
saw a study um in 2020 uh 2023, the average American gave 1.9% of their total income to charity. So, not exactly like, you know, jaw-dropping generosity there. 1.9% given to charity for the average American. Here's the kind of interesting news and maybe the bad news to this. It gets it gets a little worse. If you if they said according to this 2023 study that if income was higher, we go, "Oh, Generosity is going to go up." No. If income was higher, if you made over 100,000, the average percentage that you gave was actually lower than
those people who made less. So it kind of breaks that that fallacy of going well if I had more then I would be generous. Well the stats don't say that. So I guess generosity is not based on my amount of money. Generosity is based on my attitude about money. Okay? It's not it's not about the amount I Have. It's it's my attitude about money. So when it comes to our treasure let's just quickly break down what Jesus said about how we treat our treasure. Number one, he said, "Don't treat it as temporal." That's basically what
he was saying in verse 19. He said, "Don't store up for yourself treasures on on earth where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal. Don't store it up for you here." I heard about this one uh young man. He just drove off The uh the um the the new car lot with this BMW M8. And I mean, it was shiny. It was beautiful. and he got in a bad wreck right on his way home from the from the car dealership. And I mean, he was it was the cars mangled and he
he's kind of a mess, too. And the police show up and there he is standing right by his car that he just got. And he's going, "Oh no, my BMW. Oh no, not my M8." And uh the police officer goes, "Are you crazy?" He said, "Look at your arm." and His arm was just so injured and mangled and bone coming out and bloodied and he looked down towards his arm and he said, "Oh no, not my Rolex. Not my Rolex." That's the kind of attitude that Jesus is talking about here when he said, "Don't don't
store up for yourself treasures on earth. Don't that that's not what our treasure our treasure is meant to be more than just temporal." And the original language on that on that store up there's a Greek word That's interesting uh that is the Greek word thesaurizo and I'm probably butchering that but thesaurizo and it's from the same Greek word that we get our word thesaurus. So you think about a thesaurus what's a thesaurus do man a thesaurus stocks up words it's just like word after word after word after word. So this is the mentality that Jesus
is talking about. Don't store up, don't stock up treasures and things. And sometimes that becomes Our pursuit and it can happen so quickly. This passage is not prohibiting um savings. It's not prohibiting a 401k or retirement. That's not what it is. I think what this passage is prohibiting is making our plans and our work the center of our life and pretending like there is no kingdom of God. pretend like there is nowhere else to to put our our resource. And so, um, this kind of speaks to the inclination of our of our human nature is
to is to store up and to Hoard up. And in Luke 12, Jesus tells a different parable about a guy who was wealthy and he was rich and his his ground yielded an incredible harvest. So much he didn't have room for it all. And so what did he do? He's like, "I got to build more barns. I got to store more stuff. I got to get more storage units because I have so much stuff. And look what Jesus said to him in Luke 12 and verse 20. God said to him, "You fool. This very night
your life will be Demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself? This is how it will be for whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich towards God. I want to be rich towards God. God is Jesus in this passage is not prohibiting us to have money but with every blessing that comes our way. We are called to blessed to be a blessing. That's what generosity Is. That speaks to the second part of what Jesus said. We're how to treat our money. We don't treat it as temporal. We
treat it as eternal. Jesus said, "Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven." Y'all believe in heaven. That was that was weak. I said, ' Do y'all believe in heaven? >> I thought so. You going to go there someday? Okay. So Jesus saying, "Well, when you get there, you can you can already start storing up for yourself Treasure in heaven." How do you do that? You do that by giving and by generosity. How do we exchange the currency on this earth to heavenly like I've I've been I led missions trips, you know, a bunch of times
and especially before credit cards were so accessible and so usable all over the world, but there were times we would go on mission trips and I would have a big bundle of cash, US currency, and I mean the moment we landed, I'd have to I'd Have to start to exchange some of that because if you're in a country that doesn't take US currency, Like I could have I could have brief brief briefcases of a couple million dollars, but I mean if they don't take US currency, I might as well be penniles. It means nothing. But
how do we convert US currency into the bank of heaven? We do it through generosity and through giving. Can I just break down kind of Three levels of of giving that I think most of you will find yourself on. The first level would be spontaneous giving. And so spontaneous giving works like this. It's like um you you hear about something, you see something, you weren't planning on it, but you you give towards it. And so maybe it would be one of these, you know, on a on a on a Sunday. Maybe our our feature one
is network 211. And you go, "Ah, that's a That's a important thing. And I'll give a little bit to Kingdom Builders so that I can help network 211." You didn't plan on it. You heard about it. You saw a need. you see somebody in need and you weren't you going to give them some money because you because you're moved by that. And there's nothing wrong with spontaneous giving. It's a great place to start. It's not the best finish line. And the reason why it's not the best finish line is because if you only give When
you feel something, then you won't give when you don't feel something. So it's it's a good place to start. But the but the second kind of level of of giving and generosity would be strategic giving. strategic giving looks like me planning it and figuring out what what I need to do to do this regularly. So, last week we talked about the tithe and and I think that's one of the ways God helps us to grow in our strategic giving because we're sitting down and we're Going I I make this and the first thing I do
when I make this I'm going to give 10% of that to God and it takes a strategy and we we plan on that and that's a great next step for giving. And there are people that you saw on that kingdom builder chart that um are strategic about their kingdom builder giving and they give regularly monthly. They they know they went in and they said, "This is what I'm going to be able to do." Uh and so they gave kind of Monthly or every other week. And that's strategic giving. And this is a step up from
spontaneous giving. Let me talk about the third level of giving that I want my life to get to in a in a greater way. I want you to uh to to to dream about getting there too. And it's um sacrificial giving. Sacri sacrificial giving is a tougher one to talk about because sacrificial is giving when it costs you something. Sacri sacrificial giving is something That I I didn't feel something to give. No, sacrificial I felt it in my life because I gave it. It changed my lifestyle. It changed my my routine and it cost me
something. Why would we talk about giving sacrificially? Well, because God gave sacrificially to us and we love God. God is the ultimate giver. So there are there are seasons and and like like when we ended the year with the drive on on kingdoms, there there were people that gave sacrificially and They felt it, but they did it because God called them to do it. Can I tell you I I we don't we don't shy away from doing this for a couple of reasons. Number one, because we believe in the need. When you give to Kingdom
Builders, you're very much giving not to our church, you're giving through our church. We we believe in what these ministries and these organizations are doing and what these projects are going to accomplish. So, that's one of the Reasons why we don't shy away from giving you the opportunity to be a part of something that's bigger than you. But the other reason is because I believe the word of God. I believe verses like 2 Corinthians chapter 9. Let me just read it to you. Therefore, remember this. Whoever sws sparingly will also reap sparingly. And whoever sws
generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you've decided in your heart. Strategic giving, Not reluctantly or under compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly. Oh, let us believe that God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things, at all times, having all you need, you will abound. in every good work. That's a good life right there. Verse 9, as it is written, they have freely scattered their gifts to the poor. Their righteousness endures forever. Now, he who supplies, watch this. Let's
look, Let's zone in on verses 10 and 11. He who supplies seed to the sewer. Who's is it anyway? It's God. Your your job, your boss didn't supply your seed. No, God did. God supplies seed. You're the sewer. So, he is providing seed to the sewer. and bread for food will also supply and increase. Oh, come on. That's a good word. Increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. Verse 11, you will be Enriched in every way so that you can dot dot dot. And some of us fill in all
kinds of stuff on that. I'll be enriched in every way so that I can eat at nicer places. I'll be enriched in every way so that I can have more stuff. I'll be enriched in every way so that I can impress people that I don't even like anyway, but I'm going to post it all on social media and impress them. I I'll be enriched in every way so I can get bigger and better Toys and go to more exotic locations around the world. That's not what Paul said. Paul said, "You'll be enriched in every way
so that you can be generous on every occasion." New Testament giving generous every occasion that I have the chance. Did a was at a a funeral this week. Um beautiful man by the name of Tom Ary who attended our church for a bunch of years and I sat at that funeral and watched Person after person get up and talk about his generosity. different pastors getting up and say, "Man," every time he would think about or hear about a need, he would come up to one of us and say, "We're we're going to take care of
that. Make sure that happens." From from missions needs to youth ministry, he'd hear about a kids needing to go on a retreat to encounter Jesus. He he I want to make sure. Yeah, they they'll get to go. I'll make sure Of it. Playgrounds that were needed on on church campuses and um um church signs. There was a need for a church I'll make sure we we take care of that. Just a a generous here. He is being remembered for his generosity. Maybe think of a question. I want you to think about this question for your
own life. Five minutes after you die, what will you wished? What will you wish you had given away? Five minutes after I die, what will I wish I had given? And I guess here's the goal. Well, here's the challenge. Let's start. Let's start now. Let's make 2026. Let's Let's answer that question together. So, I want to I want to pray and next week we'll we'll have a moment where we kind of pray about I want you to do it this week and have conversations with with your family of what it looks like maybe to jump
to to a different level. Next week, we will have a time of of planning and vision and dream. And so so plan is kind of that strategic level. What what can I do? We'll have a moment of vision where what if God got involved and we'll write a number down for that and we'll get to a place of of dreaming. What God, what would be the dream amount I could ever give in a year? And we'll write that number down. But before we do that, I I want you to know the reason why we even
consider this is because of The absolute I heard one pastor say it this way. We're never more like God than when we give. And if that's true, it's because God is so generous. He's generous with his grace. He's generous with his mercy. He's generous with his love. He was generous with his one and only son. So, why don't we do this? Why don't we bow our heads? Let me pray for you. Father, in Jesus name, I pray God that your word would not just come in our ears, but I pray God it would take Root
in our life. We are grateful for the blessing that we live under. We are we are a we are a rich people in a lot of ways. And I just pray God you'd help us to be rich towards you in a different level. Jesus name with nobody looking around with nobody talking moving. If you're here today listen Jesus was a gift from God the Father. He died in your place so that you could have Relationship and reconciliation with God. Pastor, you talked about um you know, generosity and giving today. I know. But yet, God is
still stirring something up in your heart because you're not right with God. And you need to get right with God today. You need to believe what Jesus did is enough. Some of you been running from God.
