you may or may not heard of canva but canva isn't just a tool used by graphic designer it could very well be your gateway for generating online income in this video I'm going to show you three ways of Turning canva Into Cash whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned Pro these strategies are simple effective and could completely transform the way you think about making money online stick around because by the end of this video you're going to know how to do each one potentially replacing your 9o5 job the best part is for each one
I'm going to show you step by step on my screen how to do it now before you do any of the canva techniques that I talk about in this video there's four basic concepts that I want you to look up now I'm not going to cover them in detail in this video because they're covered in a lot of other places a lot better than I ever could these are some important foundations for using canva to make money so just pause this video and write these things down the first one is color theory the second one
is typography the third one is composition and the fourth one is hierarchy now you can actually look these Concepts up in canvas's own graphic design school you just do a quick Google search for canva graphic design school and it'll bring it right up you just click on that purple button right there start course and it's going to give you a great foundation for anything that you're going to do with canva as your new side hustle okay now the next thing I want you to do is head on over to canva and set up an account
and once you have an account set up then you can start on these three ways to make money with now the nice thing about canva is without even being a graphic designer it lets you create all kinds of designs from website headers to social media Graphics to infographics and it's a powerful design tool that is extremely beginner friendly which is why it's getting so popular I don't get paid anything to recommend canva in this video we use canva all the time in my business and it saved me a ton of time and generated me money
so for this first technique we're going to use canvas PNG to SVG converter now you might not know what that means at all but just stick with me you're going to know how to make money with this in just a second but before we get on to canva though I have to take you to chat GPT for just a second to get us started so go over to chat GPT and over on the left here you're going to click on explore gpts now this is a section of chat GPT where people have programmed their own
custom versions of chat GPT that actually adds skills to chat GPT that it wouldn't normally have so I want you to do a search for free AI image generator like I'm showing right here and you're going to click on this one right here and then you're going to click Start chat and I want you to input this exact search into the box boho Floral Design seamless tile and it's going to ask you a couple of questions you can just ignore all that and type the word no and then you see the image that it created
for you so what we want is as many times as we combine this image together picture like a bunch of floor tiles you want all of them to stick together in a way that creates a seamless pattern across all the tiles and that's what we're going to do with this image so you have to make sure that the edges of the image match sometimes chat GPT doesn't get exactly right the first time so you might need to double check the edges of the image and just do it again until it creates the correct image for
you now for our next step we're going to use a site called photo and what this site does is basically resizes any image that you have so for this project we're going to need the image to be a little bit smaller so we're going to go over to photo P we're going to click open from the computer and we're going to select our image and then we're going to click crop over here and we're going to click on the three lines and change this to 400 and then we click the crop button again and drag
the crop box until the numbers in in the Black Box say 400 * 400 and that's the size that you need for this specific canva side hustle and then finally you're going to click delete crop pixels and hit the check mark and just ignore everything else now we're going to get to canva in just a second but before we do we need to go to another site called pattern now once you go to pattern ni I want you to click on emoji patterns right there and then select create custom image then you're going to upload
the 400 by 400 image that you just created in the previous step and you can see it expands to cover the entire screen so you can see it's taken just one square and it's created a pattern covering everything seamlessly like we talked about the concept earlier of a seamless tile and then just download that image as a PNG file finally we get over to canva and we're going to do one very simple step with canva we're going to convert this PNG file into an SVG file so we're going to upload this image to canva here
and we're not going to do anything else in canva except for just immediately click download again because canva is just doing the conversion for it so we're going to click download and make sure to download it in SVG format and what we've done here is created an image pattern patter that can be infinitely multiplied and the pattern would just continue seamlessly and you wouldn't be able to tell where the edges are now you're probably wondering how can I make money with this well I want to show you a store called clip art creations and you
can see she's selling the exact same thing that we just made it's a digital seamless image and it's an image that people can download to prints on fabric or anything else that requires a seamless background and so the main way to make money with this is to sell it just like this store owner did and you can see right here how much she made doing this that's not even the only way that you can make money with this if you go over here to a website called Fiverr you can see that people are selling these
digital seamless patterns as a service for example look at this one I will design a seamless repeat Vector pattern for textile prints now they've received over 724 reviews now you can see right here each sale is worth $30 so you can see this fivr seller made at least $221,000 right here and also not everyone that buys is going to leave a review so this seller probably made even more than that if you include all the people that bought and didn't leave reviews now on Fiverr you can actually charge a lot more than you can on
Etsy because it's actually a service where you're creating a custom pattern for someone for example a parent might go on here and say hey my son really likes elephants and I'd like you to create a seamless pattern with cartoon elephants for my son's birthday and they'd be using that to print on tablecloths or posters or whatever so if you combine this Fiverr Custom Service gig with the Etsy store that I showed you earlier you can probably make between $2,000 and $5,000 per month now this is a great side gig that you can do with canva
that can even become a full-time income if you want but the only disadvantage what you can see right here is you have to continually hustle for new clients you're going to constantly have new orders coming through on Fiverr and you're going to be doing a lot of work on canva and these other tools just to keep creating these designs so it's definitely not an autopilot business model so really quick if you're looking for more of an autopilot business model that generates income for you whether you're working or not click on the link in the description

photos like this one this person is asking for you to add a fish tank to the photo and this person wants you to remove remove someone from the photo and this one is looking for somebody to take the two eyes and make them match each other you might say wow this stuff looks really really complicated I don't know if I could ever do any of these types of photo jobs but canva actually makes it super super simple they have ai that does all this stuff for you in just a few clicks I'm going to show
you how in just a second but first let me show you even more if you go over to upwork and you search for fix photo right here you can see people are looking for you to fix photos image retouching got $40 for retouching here you got remove something from the background $50 I think that's amazing is even though this is a pretty good fee for you to receive for this they hardly take any time in the canva tools that I'm about to show you all you need to do is go right here and click upload
and you're going to upload a photo which I'm just going to open up a photo of me and my grandma here and then you click edit image right here and then right here you click magic edit and the thing about magic edit is it is indeed practically like magic let me show you all you do is select the part of your photo that you want to edit like I'm doing right here and then you describe what you want to change into their Ai and you click generate and you can see right here it's made my
hair have kind of a red tint to it and if you remember a lot of those tasks on that Reddit thread and in upwork were for you to remove things which for someone that's not a graphic designer seems like almost an impossible task but with this magic eraser tool inside cver you can literally just go right here you click on this little button and you go right here and let's say I wanted to completely remove myself from this picture now I've got an image right here with only my grandma now you might have to mess
with it a little bit here and there and you can see my hand so I'm going to have to remove that hand as well but you could remove a lamp you could remove people from photos you could remove a bunch of a pile of garbage from the background whatever you want and if you mess with it a little bit this magic eraser can do all that in just a matter of seconds now let's move on to the third way to make money with canva that's with layout design I'm talking about birthday invitations wedding invitations graduation
announcements Christmas postcards professional resumés you name it and you might say that's so overwhelming I'm not a graphic designer how would I ever be able to design those types of things as a side hust well if you go into canva and you click over here on the left on templates you can see they have templates for all kinds of different things that someone want to hire you to create now I'm going to show you how to get someone to hire you in just a second but if you click more here you can see all the
different things that can be designed from templates let's say someone hired you to do a book cover which again I'm going to show you how to get someone to hire you in just a second for this but if you want to create a book cover all you need to do is click on book covers right here here and it has all kinds of different book covers that you could choose from all you need to do is click in here and click customize this template and then click here and change the text and I'm going to
drag this up and now all of a sudden I've got a book on how to parent teenagers it's a book I actually need to read right now but let's say you wanted to do a wedding invitation for someone and they wanted to pay you for it you just click on wedding invitation up here on the top and click enter and it's going to bring up a bunch of wedding invitation templates and all you have to do is click in like I just showed you and change the names and the dates and boom you've got a
brand new wedding invitation and it only takes a few minutes to do now you might say how am I ever going to find anyone to hire me for this kind of work the first thing I encourage you to do is to reach out to your personal contacts your future design clients might already be in the network of contacts that you already have there's probably hidden opportunities just waiting in there and you don't even know because you've never asked so just go through your list of contacts and reach out to any contact that might have an
in for you at an organization that might pay you for design service you can also let your friends and family know that you're looking for work in this area and what I encourage you to do with this first group of people your family and friends is to do a few jobs for free or extremely cheap just to get some work under your belt and get your portfolio going and to get a little work history that you can show to Future clients you'd be surprised if you just reach out to the people you already know what
might pop out for you and then after you do that it's time to go to the next stage and start reaching out to people that you don't know yet in fact one of my design colleagues started her design business in this exact way she sent out emails to potential clients every single week and she stuck with it for a number of weeks in a row until she had gained seven new clients from that from those seven clients she was able to quit her job and go 100% atome freelancing graphic design work and you can actually
click on the link in the description of this video to get her exact template that she used to launch her own graphic design business and you can actually use them just like she did she started by sending maybe 5 to 10 emails per week and just gradually increased it until she got to sending around 15 or 20 and the funny thing is I got one of those emails myself and I hired her to do some work in my own business so if you stick with it this can really work for you and a lot of
