Your mind is like a muscle and if you don't train it intentionally, if you don't work it out, it can easily start to atrophy and become something that is run by your unconscious, by patterns that aren't going to benefit you and more. And in a day and age where there are so many distractions at your fingertips with brain rot all over the place, it can become very easy to get into more of a consumeristic mentality or mindset than to get into a creative mindset where you're actually creating things. But when we're always in that consumerristic
mindset or mode, this is what causes our mind and our thinking to atrophy, which becomes a problem if we want to create our reality deliberately because we get what we think about most of the time. What you are thinking about most of the time is that a little thing there so you know that's a thought will lead to what starts appearing in your outer world. And so if you spend all of this time in consuming online stuff and not creating from that, if you spend all this time in distraction and just bringing all of that
in, it's affecting your thinking and then creating most likely things you would prefer not to create. Essentially, if your thinking is untrained and incoherent, it will start producing incoherence in your life, which is just another way of saying chaos or messiness or whatever. But when you start training your mind to stop consuming and start training it in intentional ways to start actually creating everything in your life begins to change. Why? Because again you get what you think about most of the time. You'll begin to start feeling better, more energized in higher levels of consciousness. Your
physical world starts to shift to such a point that you may not even recognize what it once was. The mind is potentially one of the greatest divine gifts that were ever bestowed upon us that you actually have. But for most people, it is misused and it becomes more of a hell on earth rather than a heaven on earth that I believe it was intended to be. And it has the ability to create either a hell on earth existence for yourself or more of a heaven on earth existence. And so in this video, we're going to
be going over how to start training your mind to create more and create more of what you want in your life to remove the consumerristic distractions and help you to guard against that so it's not affecting your creations. And again, some practical tools that are actually going to help you to do this that you can get started on immediately. When you train your mind and you become so much more intentional with your thoughts, your thinking, so much more aware of what's going on in that part of yourself, reality creation becomes a lot easier. In fact,
it is a night and day difference when you actually start to train your mind. So, let's jump into how you can do this. So, maybe you're thinking to yourself, why does it matter if I train my mind? Why should I put in the time and energy to train my mind and select my thoughts and be focused on certain things? Surely it doesn't affect my life that much. >> Right. Wrong. >> Well, it's actually one of the biggest influences of your life. Again, we don't have sayings that you get what you think about most of the
time for no reason. That's not just something that's thrown out from nowhere being produced from the ether. Although maybe technically it kind of did come from that but ultimately it is something that is pointing at a very big truth. We truly get what we think about most of the time and feel about but our thinking is such a huge component of what we create. And when we say um you get what you think about most of the time, we're not saying like every little thought is going to manifest. What it means is what where are
the majority of your thoughts going? What are you the majority of the time thinking about? So most of the time as in what is the consistency of your thoughts? Are you thinking from a place of fear most of the time? Well, that's what's going to manifest. Are you thinking from a place of abundance or love or similar places? That's what's going to manifest. That's what's going to start appearing um in your life. Now, we'll go over some of the reasons why this is the case. And one of the reasons is that your attention Oh, this
marker is running out. creates it creates reality. Where focus goes, energy flows. And you have a choice in any moment where you put your focus. Now, yes, we have unconscious patterns and we have things of this nature. But as you keep training your focus, as you keep training your thinking, you're going to become more aware of those patterns. What you're going to ultimately do is you're going to make, and this is so powerful to do, and it's going to start happening as you do this, the unconscious conscious. And what that means is the patterns, the
the the thinking um programming that you are running that's not serving you and is hurting you, you as you start training your mind are going to become a lot more aware of these unconscious patterns, which means they're now conscious. You're now aware of them. And when you're aware of them, you can suddenly start making choices on whether you would like to keep them, if they benefit or they don't. Now, don't worry about you need to uncover all of these unconscious patterns and getting neurotic about this and, you know, getting, you know, going hard at it.
You don't need to do that. As you do some of the things we go over in these videos, these will start becoming more apparent because you're giving attention to this. And again, attention creates. It will start revealing to you the unconscious patterns that are there that are sabotaging your ability to create. the unconscious patterns that are causing you to think in a certain way which is again giving you what you are getting. So these unconscious patterns we will start bringing into the conscious and then we're able to make new choices through that. And one of
the ways this is going to happen is as you start intentionally choosing different thoughts, thinking in a different way, intentionally training this is you are going to have what's called contrasting experiences. Meaning you'll be doing all this stuff where you're trying to train good programs in where you're training your thinking where you're putting your focus on certain things. And because you're doing that, it's going to become a lot more obvious when that's not occurring. And it's because an unconscious program has come up. One that's probably been running for a very long time and affecting you,
but now you're more aware of it because you're getting not even not just a taste um but a much bigger experience, a much more vivid experience of its opposite. So, it becomes more apparent. One way I like to relate this is it's kind of like if you eat very clean, if you're very healthy and you're eating well, let's say you're eating great food all the time, you're sticking to healthy stuff, you eat um a good amount, um you are are let's say you're training, you just live a very healthy lifestyle. What happens if you then
start to eat very unhealthy? Let's say you binge eat. uh you eat like uh something you know is just not good for you and you eat a lot of it. A bunch of donuts, a bunch of fried food or whatever, what happens is immediately or very quickly like within at least a day your body lets you know what it thinks of that very clearly, right? You get what's called feedback. You get a contrasting experience to what you were experiencing when you were eating clean and everything else where you feel felt very good. And then after
eating that food or eating too much of it at least and going beyond moderation, you start getting feedback that hey this doesn't feel good. Now the reason that feedback is so obvious to you is because it is a contrasting experience to what you're used to, right? Because you've been eating well. Now to someone, this is where the example comes in. to someone who eats like that normally and is used to eating poorly and therefore that same feedback is just a normal experience for them. It's harder for them to receive that contrast because there's there's not
much of a gap there. It's just kind of their regular experience. They may start noticing it if they start eating cleaner and then they start to again create that gap and that difference. Oh, this is what it feels like to be healthier and this is what it feels like to not be healthy. Now I know the difference. So, as you start thinking and choosing better feeling thoughts, as your attention goes on training your mind, you're going to see what the untrained mind looks like and feels like more clearly as these unconscious patterns start becoming more
conscious. And when they do that, that's a good sign. What it means is you're bringing the shadows into the light. And when the unconscious is becoming conscious, it is starting to dissipate. It is starting to be released. So understand that, you know, oh my god, look at all these things here. They were already there except they were operating underneath everything and influencing you. You just couldn't see it at the time or not very well. Now you can see it and maybe it's a bit painful. It's a bit uncomfortable, but it's a good thing because you
can see it, which means it is clearing. Again, for us to clear things, it has to come to the surface, right? In shadow work or in healing work, we'll say like you have to feel it to heal it, right? And it's the same with this. So you will see these unconscious patterns coming up as you start um putting your attention on different things. The contrast becomes um a lot more apparent. So understand that this can this will happen most likely as you do this. Now staying on attention and the power of attention and how it
creates you have to understand that what you put your attention on internally. So this is your thinking, your feeling and everything else. Um it starts to essentially connect to different things in what we could call the feel. Now there's a very famous or well relatively well-known idea in in science called the observer effect and the observer effect essentially was discovered through the double slit experiments which many of you may be familiar with and what it showed is that reality essentially shifts and change based on the a conscious observer and how they observe the experiment. And
what was shown was basically um if you observe something, it will collapse into a particle, right? So if you're observing a wave, which is basically non-physical um and you actually observe it, it collapses into physical into something more tangible. Typically, this is how how it works. And one of the things with the observer effect that kind of came out of this was this idea that as a conscious observer, you are creating reality. You were taking the unknown or the non what the intangible and bringing it into the inh tangible based on how you're observing it.
Right? So you were collapsing the wave functions or the non-physical into the physical. But dependent on the lens you are observing through it'll be either one type of physical thing or a different type of physical thing. Meaning if you are collapsing the wave function from a place of fear thinking from a place of fear feeling that's going to produce or collapse the wave function in that particular way which then comes into your life. Hopefully this is you're following this right but if you are looking and observing through the lens of love and abundance and peace
and joy that's going to lead to a very different result in collapsing the wave function. And so another way to look at this is let's say this is your known right? Right? So this K right here and this little box here is the known your known world. This is your physical world. So we could also say physical and this bigger box is the unknown or the non-physical or the field whatever we want to call it. Your thoughts, your attention is so powerful that it activates different things in the field. Your thoughts connect to the unknown,
to the field, to the nonphysical. And essentially through your thoughts, you are basically telling the universe, God, source or whatever what it is you would like to have in your life. And so let's say whatever this thing is, you're thinking about most of the time. What's going to happen is you are going to light this up to such a degree that eventually it has to magnetize and come into your known in one way or another. Now the issue for most people in the challenge is this thing that we've lit up here is typically a negative
thing right they've given a lot of attention to fear they've given a lot of attention and thinking towards everything going along I'm unlucky I can't do it whatever else and then their physical circumstances reflect that because these things are what's coming in from the unknown into the known because you're literally calling them into being with your thinking and what you're giving your attention to your attention is creating reality. You are creating one you're creating your reality one observation at a time. And we'll get into this a little more when we go up here about what
moves the needle in your life and and kind of why reality operates this way uh in what we're talking about here. But again, whatever you're lighting up in the field and you can choose multiple things. There's all of these choices, but what you think about most of the time is what you will receive. And so if you think about fear-based things most of the time you're catastrophizing in your mind um you're you know always seeing bad outcomes for yourself and it doesn't matter what's happened in the past a lot of people will just keep recreating
the past for themselves because they uh basically reaffirm it by going oh that happened in my past it's going to happen again if you say so your wish is your command in this case ultimately we get what we think about so if you keep lighting up the same things in here you're just going to start receiving the same things over and over. However, let's get that out of there. Let's say this one maybe is further away because you're not used to it, but let's say this is more abundance. This is peace. This is joy. You
have a DCA you're focusing on now that's lighting up. And at first, this thing is is super dark, right? It's you've never given attention to it. It's it's almost like seems like it's barely there, but it is. And you keep giving your attention to it the best you can. You start training your mind to focus on this, to feel good about this. Suddenly this starts to light up more and more and more and more and to the point where the energy becomes so frequent, so quick that it has to be drawn into your life. You
are magnetizing it in by focusing your thoughts on that. Now when we look at it from this perspective, we can see how incredibly crucial it is to train our thinking. Because if our thinking is not trained, there's a few things that will happen. This is what untrained thinking looks like and what it manifests. There's two ways. Either one, let's go back to that example where it's mainly negative. You're lighting up, let's say these thing, you know, it's lighting up this, it's lighting up this, it's lighting up this, and it just keeps lighting up all of
these and let's say they're close within range. It's like kind of all this one sector, this one part of the unknown. It's lighting up this one sector. It's more of the negative space or you know what we judge as negative. That's an important point there. but we judge it as negative and things that are not as desirable, we don't really want them. They're, you know, trouble in our relationships, right? Uh, you know, being broke, uh, having a job that we hate, all of these things, being unlucky, whatever it is, we're focusing on those things. We're,
you know, imagining and thinking about arguments that haven't been had but we might have because we've had them before or we're thinking about how we don't like our boss or we're thinking about how, you know, whatever, um, losing money, a bill coming in and it being more than you expected, etc., etc., right? Again, attention creates. So these things start coming in. Life starts presenting you more basically more to continue to think in that way and feel that way because it thinks oh this is what you're requesting right now. Another way in which this works because
when someone has an untrained mind another pattern that usually shows up is overthinking. So here's how overthinking works and I want you to think of this from the perspective of trying to produce positive effects in your life. So the way overthinking works is you're thinking about this, then you're thinking about this, and you're thinking about this, now this, now this, now this, now this, now this, and a million other things. And when it comes to positive manifestation or positive reality creation, nothing can get done because you're thinking of way too many things to ever build
up enough energy to have it come in. And so this is why maybe even you're thinking more positively in general, which will help. Absolutely, you will. You should notice some things come in when that's happening. But maybe you notice big things don't happen or big changes don't happen. Well, it might be you're just spread too thin with your energy, right? You're focusing on so many different things and this is another untrained mind thing. Just the inability to stay focused and concentrated on a singular thing or in a singular sector in this unknown or in this
field. And therefore, you're trying to light this up. Oh no, now I'm trying to light this up. Oh no, I'm gonna light this up. Oh no, I'm gonna light this up. And all the while while you're skipping from one thing to the next, the light that you had started building on this one starts to fade away. And now you've moved on to the next one. But then the next one, then this one starts to fade away. Then this one starts to fade away, starts to fade away essentially to a point where pretty much nothing again
is lit up or activated. And so none of it can start coming in. So training our mind is not only something that is going to help you prevent bringing in undesirable things. It is also going to be something that prevents you from trying to focus on way too much to the point where you just cannot give all your energy to it and so that you can focus on what's going to be best for you next to draw whatever that is in incredibly quickly. This is why we um talk about DCA's um definite chief aim. I'm
going to say it every time now, but why we focus on a DCA because that's a definite chief aim, a singular focus, a singular chief aim, which is essentially you doing this is finding what that best next thing for you is. You're lighting it up powerfully through this and it's coming in so fast and quickly. And that's why we talk about things like the quantum to Newtonian transition point which states six to eight weeks of concentrated concentrated concentrated focused particle flow leads to dramatic changes in your physical life quantum to Newtonian the non-physical the unknown
into the physical the known that transition point where you've done enough here for it to come into your life in some way and it will usually find its way into your life in a nonlinear or unexpected expected way out of left field, right? Not always in this this grandiose way. I think people confuse that like it's got to happen in this big way. Sometimes it'll be as simple as someone called you and offered you the dream job. Sometimes it'll be as simple as you intuitively went somewhere that you were called to go and you meet
the person that changes everything and etc etc or helps the manifestation come through um and everything else, right? But it happens in this nonlinear way. So hopefully that's making sense. Again, just to stay on track here, we get what we think about. attention creates the unconscious will start becoming conscious. So don't worry too much about that and what are we activating in this field through our attention our observation where focus goes energy flows again focus goes energy flows it lights up and activates that thing in the field. So where focus goes this is our focus
we're focusing through our thinking in the field in the non-physical on whatever that is and where that focus goes energy flows. When that energy flows to whatever that is, it lights it up. It activates it non-physically first. And if you keep it activated, it you can almost think of it like solidifying and becoming the denser rate of vibration to where it can come in physically. Right? So, moving on here. I want to go over just kicked my uh a ceramic cat I have down there. Um I think someone asked about that noise. So, I'll just
show you. There's this. I use it as a a doors stopper. So I kick it a few times over here. Um, so there you go. So ultimately what moves the needle forward for us? And this is something that's so crucial to know because again you might get into this mode of thinking well what's the point of you know like it's not that important to focus on my thoughts. Again I want to give another uh kind of uh look for you of how important it actually is. And this is something I was told by high level
mentors I've been working under or have worked under on just you just give me an idea of how big the impact is of focusing on the inner and which includes your thinking versus trying to go out and just take a million action. Right? Again trying to do do all of it and focus on everything or do a million things against the wall hoping something will stick. Right? So the inner world essentially which includes your thinking. So you can you can use the word thinking here. It includes again if we look at um that uh triangle
that shows it there's the physical but there's the inner made of the mental and spirit inner thoughts imaging visualization what we're talking about here it's thinking essentially and then there's the feeling side or spiritual side which includes emotion energy and motion but understand that your thinking corresponds with your emotion. All right so I had to take a slight pause there because I actually cut my finger on the ceramic as I was showing you it. Uh so that has been thrown into the trash as it uh its ear has a chip in it that actually cut
me. So anyway, staying with what we were talking about here. Uh and something I learned from a mentor a while ago was that what you do in the inner world will essentially move the needle five to 10 times sometimes more forward in whatever it is you're trying to accomplish or do. Now why is this? Why is it that again the inner work which includes your thinking has such a bigger impact on your life? Again, we talked about the unknown into the known and you can probably already connect some dots here but ultimately understanding that the
outer world follows the inner world, right? You're connecting to the unknown through the inner and that's what follows um or the outer world what comes in follows that. Keep in mind that our reality is mainly energy and empty space. Uh empty space is a misnomer. It's still energy contained within empty space. Um kind of like in this interesting way kind of coming in and out of empty space. It's very interesting um how that works. There's a great book called The Field that explains this a little bit um a bit more. But essentially 99.9 plus% is
like 99.69 um% of our reality is what we could consider empty space and energy. The remaining percentage which is 0.0501% 0501% of our reality is what we could consider physical matter reality. And so our reality is by far a non-physical reality. And we exist physically at a very very narrow bandwidth or frequency that allows us to operate in what we call a physical reality with our five senses. that gives this seemingly uh this this reality seemingly gives it form, right? Where even the physical stuff or what we call physical is still just an accumulation of
energy. It's still energy at the end of the day. But that's 99.9% of what reality is. This non-physical basically this stuff here, your thinking is connected to that 99.9%. And so we have to ask ourselves, are we creating from the 99.9 plus percent that's dictating most of reality that physical reality comes from, or are we creating from the tiny percentage? And most people are creating from the tiny percentage. When you train your thinking, you gain more access to the 99.9%. You gain more access to being able to choose things in that place in the field.
understanding that 99.9 plus% and this marker is really dying on me is where thoughts connect to as well. And so when you train your thinking and you train your mind, you gain access to more possibilities. You gain access to the ability to draw more of these things to you. When your mind's all over the place, basically that 99.9 plus% um is just throwing the parts of it you don't want at you. You're connecting to things you probably do not want to connect to. So keep in mind that again the inner is what leads to the
outer. Again you can look at famous scientists like Max plank that said consciousness which is same thing talking about the inner consciousness energy frequency vibration is fundamental. It is primary matter is derivative of consciousness. This is a direct quote. He says that matter is derivative derives from comes from consciousness. Or said in another way, that 99.9 plus percent matter, that very small percentage comes from the 99.9 plus percent. The inner world, right, is what's creating most of your life. We get what we think about. That's a part of the inner world. And that moves the
needle five to 10 times, sometimes more faster than any physical alone actions you're going to take. Now, another thing that's important to be aware of to why we want to train our thinking is you are in what's called infinite action. And what this means is again there is an eternal moment of now, a present moment of now that is always in operation and always has been and always will. Um there's always a the process is always happening which means you are always activating something in some way in the field. There is always something that you
are giving energy towards. There is no switching that off or turning that off. And so we're in infinite action. And so training our thoughts especially to develop patterns that serve us to develop not unconscious but we'll say subconscious programming that actually serves us in the background is so crucial because at any given time in every moment you are sending out signal. You are sending out something that is activating. You're sending out thoughts and energy and frequency vibration that is activating different things in the field which is then drawing whatever is coming into your life into
your life. And so because of infinite action we want to be aware that momentto moment we are doing this. This is also why being present having presence is so powerful because when you're present in the present moment you'll notice you feel better. You'll notice your thinking is better. You might even be able to turn off your thinking which is a powerful thing to do. There'll still be things being activated, but you'll elevate your feelings. Ultimately, things are always happening moment to moment. Now, despite this, don't fall for neuroticism. So, you're like, "Oh, no. I thought
a bad thought or a thought that doesn't serve me. I I fail. I've lost, you know, whatever else it is." No, it's not about thinking perfectly all the time. It's not about feeling good all the time. It's about just doing that more, right? Can you get that percentage up? Can you turn the dial, move the needle more when it comes to all of this? Right? And you just go up incrementally, bit by bit, the best you can. Training your mind helps you to do this, right? You go up more and more and more to the
point where you've trained your mind to such a point where most of the time you are able to activate what you actually want, which brings it in at all and also brings it in faster. So keep in mind, you are in infinite action. It's not uh something to get neurotic about or overthink or try to be a perfectionist with. It just is something that's going on. So, we want to mention it. It is something that's happening. So, there's no need to hide from it. And in fact, once you do train your thinking, you are going
to be so grateful that it exists because ultimately it means once your thinking is trained in the ways you want it to be, you know, that's going to be happening more automatically, which means this is going to be drawn in uh being uh attracted in much easier. So, now we're going to go over very briefly some of the dangers of consumption, some of which we've already gone over, and then some tools that are going to help you get more out of consumption and into creation, how to train your mind essentially beyond what we've already stated.
Because just by watching this video, you will have gotten some mind training. uh by being this far through it again there'll be plenty of people who dropped off within five minutes when they realized oh this is not just going to be a magic pill like nothing is or this is not going to be like a short you know ah I need to go consume something right so congrats on just being here at this point um but also understand that not all consumption is dangerous obviously you're consuming this mentally and emotionally right so not all things
are dangerous to consume in the same way not all things you consume physically are dangerous however in the current landscape and and current environment of our society, especially digitally, a lot of it is. It's kind of like how they say if you go in a supermarket these days, about 90% of it is crap and bad for you. It's kind of the same with the the online landscape and environment. And so, you want to be more intentional, especially on these because, you know, for every one video like this, there'll be thousands of videos that will lead
you into distraction or will just affect you negatively when it comes to your thinking and your energy and everything else. And so, we can be intentional about watching stuff like this. But here's a caveat. Even with content like this I've mentioned before, it make sure you're watching this helpful stuff, yes, but in moderation. And what I mean is it can be very easy to binge watch my videos, for example. And sometimes maybe that's what's needed. Sometimes you just need a lot of that energy kind of pumped into you. But if you're watching my stuff, and
I said this before, like this doesn't benefit me in any way like with the algorithm or anything. It benefits me if you watch a ton of my stuff. Fantastic. Thank you. However, I want to make sure I'm giving you what benefits you. And watching eight hours of my stuff is most likely not going to be the most beneficial. It's like eating a lot of good food, but you just keep eating and now you're overeating to the point where you've overconumed. Right? This content should in some it can do many things, but in some way should
almost compel you to go use some of what you've learned. Right? That should be like the natural order in my eyes when it comes to this. You learn this. Maybe you already knew some of this, but it reinforces it. It reiterates it. It gives you some ideas and then you're able to apply it and create from it. Right? So consumption is not all bad. Obviously, when you have things like this, when you're working with a coach, you're consuming. When you're, you know, reading a book, you're consuming. But that's good consumption. You're eating in that sense
the equivalent of healthy food and nutrients, but you wouldn't be doing that all day. You wouldn't just be eating the whole time. You would eat, maybe go work out, and you have the energy to do it, or you'd be able to, you know, do whatever throughout the day, and then you eat again a little bit later, right? you top up your energy reserves. You could do that the same way with the way you consume this kind of stuff. So, even with my stuff, which of course, you know, it benefits me for you to watch it.
Don't over consume it. Watch a video or two maybe at most and then go go do something. Go use what you've learned. Like after this video, uh you know, take some notes. What were your learnings? What were your insights from it? Your ahas and mo use those moving forward. Ask yourself where your thinking is at. use some of the tools that we're g we're going to give you here. Maybe you go on to the next video. I'll always recommend a video that synergizes well with what you're watching to give you a more um complete picture
of what to do, but it isn't always necessary. Feel out for what's best. If it is necessary, go do that. After that, you probably want to to stop and and actually start doing something, right? So helpful, but not mandatory. Remember, we're relating this to the physical diet. So that's all all that means. So when we go up here and explain this one more understand we can use the example of the physical diet. So yes you want to consume healthy in the physical diet but you wouldn't want to if you overconume suddenly it becomes uh has
a negative effect right but we especially want to avoid and this is where the big stuff with the consumption comes in low conscious consumption. In the same way with the physical diet, we want to avoid eating, you know, at least too much donuts and, you know, pizza all the time or pasta all the time or uh what else unhealthy fried foods all the time, right? We want to avoid that because we know by eating too much of that um or really even a slight percentage of that that's going to affect our physical health. Um in
the same way I gave that example of you know when you're very healthy and you eat that kind of stuff it has a pretty quick reaction because it's not good for you. Your body is giving you feedback, right? And so it's the same with this. We want to avoid low conscious consumption. You can equate that to junk food for your mental diet or your inner diet. It's like junk food. Now you're eating cakes and donuts and all these things that feel good. They give you a dopamine hit, but they're ultimately bad for your health. When
it comes to this, when you're always in low conscious consumption, it hijacks your thinking. understand that everything you consume and you watch has what's called um an energetic transference or a process called energetic transference occurs. Everything has frequency, vibration and energy including the things that you watch. As you watch this, there's an energetic uh transference occurring between you and the content that you're watching. When you're reading a book, it's the same thing. When you're watching a short, all of it h there is an energy exchange and relationship occurring. And so if you're watching stuff that
is a at a low level of consciousness, you are then receiving that low level of consciousness. You are then influenced by that low level of consciousness. You are connecting to it. And maybe you could willpower your way and stay up and kind of block that out for a little bit, but environment will always be will. Eventually you will succumb to the environment digitally, physically or otherwise. And so we want to avoid this because it will hijack your thinking, your thoughts, your emotions, which again is what's creating. It'll hijack your attention. Um, which is what's creating
your life and your reality. And so be aware to at least limit this. Again, if you want to watch I watch funny videos sometimes because I think laughing is a very high conscious powerful thing to do. Um, I'll watch other things sometimes. So again, you can do this in moderation. In the same way with a physical diet, you know, you might do 9020. You might go 90% clean, 10% fun, whatever. But it's very easy, especially with this kind of content to get almost a little bit addictive to it to satiate the pleasure centers. Actually, they
usually aren't satiated, but to activate the pleasure centers of your brain and just keep keep going, right? And just like hours and hours of that content and that is affecting you from a low conscious place, right? So, moving on here, some actual strategic things we're going to do. some things you may have heard before, but we'll give you a reminder and maybe a few new things. I'm going to give you some very tangible things to do here that are going to help immediately. Now, the first thing I said is environment beats will. So, we'll come
down to that first. And two of the dig things that give us the digital environment that are always around us that we want to be much more intentional with. The first one is the phone. And you can throw in the iPad or whatever device you use, but we want to be a lot more intentional with the phone. Most people are on their phones hours every single day, but not thinking about the content of which they are consuming, not thinking about if they're over consuming and maybe should put the phone down. You know, I've seen people,
for example, I always find it a little bit funny, um, you know, going on hikes or in nature with their the kind of phones out like this, not even enjoying the nature or being present for what's going on around them. Instead, they are transported energetically into a whole different world of whatever is going on on the screen, right? And so sometimes it might just be you need to put the phone down. Sometimes it might be you just need to put things on the phone that limit your access to certain things because again environment beats will.
If you don't set up your environment to for success, you will succumb to it, right? You will succumb to these things that are affecting you. So a few things, one thing I would always recommend is keeping your phone out of your bedroom in the morning and at night um for at least an hour before you go to bed and an hour after you wake up in the morning. Um, there's other reasons to do this because you are in a very particular state when you wake up versus when you also when you uh fall asleep. You're
going from a a high brain wave state to a lower brain wave state when you're falling asleep. And this influences your unconscious and subconscious. Meaning, if you're scrolling on TikTok or Instagram and get all this low conscious stuff going into you before you fall asleep, you're basically more likely to put that stuff into your unconscious or subconscious, which is feeding more patterns, etc., etc. And it's the same if you do it right when waking up. It's just going in the opposite direction. You're starting at a lower brain wave state. Um you're going from delta to
theta to alpha and it's also going into your subconscious. So that first 30 minutes to an hour when you wake up and 30 minutes to an hour before you go to sleep, you want to be very intentional if you are going to use the phone, I recommend just not doing it. Um or just not doing it, right? And having some kind of morning routine. Now, some of the things I'm going to recommend you do, I recommend you put in your morning and night routine. This is something I like to do as well. I have different
things in those routines uh morning and night. And it doesn't matter how long your routine is. If you have a 15 if you only have 15 minutes, you you make a mini routine with that. If you have an hour, fantastic. You do that, too. But ultimately, that can be one of the most powerful things because it also starts your day. If you wake up and don't go on the phone for at least an hour, uh with a lot of momentum in doing what we're doing because if you just go on your phone, you're just starting
in this reactionary state. And then you may find you use it even more throughout the day. So, keep it out of your room morning and night. Now, again, having a morning and night routine can help. Um, and I recommend one hour um after you wake up in in that hour, don't use it. And one hour before bed, aim to not use it the best you can. Now, again, maybe your one of your routines includes the phone, you know, some music or whatever. Um, but then there's something else you can do. There is an app called
Minimalist Phone or Minimalist App that essentially um allows your phone to stop being the bells and whistles that attract people to it. Uh, so if you actually look at my phone and I'll have like something come up that shows you, um, it's just a black screen with white writing for each app. So I don't have symbols. I don't have all these colorful things that try and attract your attention. All these, you know, logos. It's just, yeah, here's the app. Okay, now there's this app. It's in alphabetical order, right? And so what it does is it
doesn't stimulate my pleasure centers uh, when I'm on the phone. It's just like, what do I need? Okay, scroll down. That's what I need. Okay, I need to send a message to someone. Okay, there's WhatsApp. Uh, you can also use this app to basically block certain apps for you. Um, to give yourself, say, a certain amount of time you block it for. So, I believe you can block it for like 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 30 days. So, let's say you're you're like, I'm going on Instagram too much or I don't want to go
on it today. You could block it for 24 hours and the app will prevent you from going on it for 24 hours. You can have a favorites list. So, I found this to be incredibly helpful. I think I have an Android. I have a very simple phone. Um, so I think that's what I have. Uh, but I'm pretty sure you can get this an iPhone as well. So I believe it's just called minimalist app or minimalist phone app or something like that. And again, I'll show you some foot that. So I found that very helpful
because again, it creates an environment on there that's not enticing for me to consume all the time. The next thing is getting blockers. And this is especially good for PC. Um, so I like I have ones um I believe called block site is the one. And again, I will uh if we can find some stuff of that. There's a there's tons of free ones that you can get on Chrome and other browsers that you can use. And what you can do then is you can put certain sites in there that if you try and access,
it blocks you from doing so. Another big one, and again, you can then just add and like if you don't want to access something, you're getting too addicted to one, you can block it. Uh, another one I do is for YouTube and obviously I do work on YouTube, so I have to go on it and I'll listen to music and stuff on it as well is I have an app that basically blocks the home feed and the suggested videos and other things of that nature. So if I'm watching something, it's just the video and nothing
else is on screen pretty much. No comments, no information from the video, no suggested videos. It is just a page with the video player playing the video. And I have found this to be incredibly useful if I'm like, I just want to watch one thing. I don't want to fall down the rabbit hole. Um, it's been amazing for that as well. So again, I I believe I forget what this one's called, I have to admit. But I will have it come across screen. I'll send it to Peda, my editor, to just put that what that
is across the screen. Uh, so you can use that as well. And I found this one to be incredibly helpful because the social media I spend most of my time on is YouTube. Uh, so that one works incredibly well. But you can find one for pretty much any social media or anything that you believe you are consuming too much of. Now, here is where we're going to get more into some deliberate training. Now, this is not going to be complex. This will come down to consistency and doing everything else we mentioned uh before this point,
right? Everything else we mentioned about, you know, in the lesson part of it, why this is good, doing this stuff as well. You know, you'll notice dots connecting if you go through that on what you should be doing. But again, we also want to start calibrating our mental diet. Now, we've already covered this stuff which is going to help the things that you need to be removing like the the access to all this stuff. So, we already covered subtraction and that's the first thing you want to do. A lot of our mental diet isn't about
addition right away. It's about removing the things that are causing you to be in this consumption mode, right? And when you remove that, what's left to do? It's to create as unless you fill it in with more consumption, right? But that's the first thing. Then we want to move on to addition. We're going to keep this very simple. Um, addition that I would recommend is watching videos like this. Again, not over consuming them, but what happens when you watch this is again you are being influenced by the level of thinking of this video. You are
being influenced, yes, by the information, but also the energy. You're going to start getting ideas. You're going to start connecting certain dots that maybe you weren't connecting before. You're going to start having aha moments, right? And so by watching content of this nature um in moderation, it will inspire you to do certain things to to figure out certain things that you otherwise wouldn't have. It puts you on that frequency and wavelength. So that's good. The next is reading. Now, if you're not reading, I please start. you know, I can't make you do anything, but that's
the one I would especially do because reading is um one of the most powerful ways of transferring information and energy from the author or the information or the the material of the book directly into you. It is something we've been doing for generations. It is basically encoded in our DNA. You know, it's one of the best ways to study, to take in information and everything else. Videos are great too because some people are more visual learners. But you honestly should try and do all of these things that we're we're going to talk about. So the
videos fantastic. It mixes uh you know kind of the the the vision also audio uh reading uh um activates a different part of the brain which is very powerful and then audio can be another good one. So listening to things like The Strangest Secret, you can listen to audiobooks. But one thing I will say is try not to replace reading physical books with audiobooks. A lot of people like to do that where instead of studying a physical book, they will just listen to the audio book. Now, it's great to listen to the audio book because
that's a different method of learning. But I wouldn't use that as a replacement for physical reading. Do both. Not the same time necessarily, but have some time where you read and have some time where you listen to audiobooks. this will just help you even more train your thinking. But rating is one of the best ways that I have found is is one of the more effective ways to do this, right? Uh you could also do journaling. Um I put that more as an optional thing. Um I find that very useful. Again, you have to be
present, concentrate your thoughts, you have to really think about what you're going to write out. This will help your thinking as well. And I just put daily. Again, do this daily. If you do this every now and again, it's still better to nothing. But if you do this daily, even a little bit, if you just read a page a day, if you just listen to five minutes of audio, one one video or 10 minutes of a video, and then throughout the day, throughout a few days, finish that video, um you're going to start making progress.
But of course, in some days, you may do more. But by doing this daily and having that consistency, you're going to be training your mind in very powerful ways. Now, another way to train your mind is meditation and visualization. Um, these are amazing inner work practices that will train your mind like nothing else. Now, there's actually a very particular way of visualizing that is going to allow you to create faster than anything else, and I go over it in this video here. Um, this is one I give clients. It is so incredibly powerful, simple, but
powerful. And if you really want to create what you want, train your thinking fast, this is the one to go look at
