hey I hope you enjoy these Christmas themed horror stories and the sound of a crackling fire let me know what you think of the sound effects my father was a diplomat who shook hands with the most powerful people in the world a businessman with foreign affairs managing an Empire so vast that the Sun never sets upon it he was an Army veteran in Afghanistan and a doctor in Ethiopia in fact he was so important that he went everywhere and did everything except for coming home that is when I was little I used to love hearing
stories about him I like to imagine that I'd get to meet him someday and the two of us would go everywhere I'd heard about in Mom's stories it wasn't until I was 8 years old when I realized how strange her voice was when she talked about him or how selfish I was for always bringing him up I didn't ask for any more stories after that and my mom never brought him up on her own she must have loved him terribly for it to still hurt after all these years my mother once said the longer you
wait for something you want the better it is to have like interest building up in the bank so every day he didn't come home wasn't a punishment it would only make their reunion that much happier when it finally did happen it would have have been so much easier if he did come back though I wouldn't have to walk home from school because my mom would be there to pick me up and I wouldn't need to make my own dinner because mom wouldn't need a second job in the evening some nights I try to stay up
until she got back but I'd usually fall asleep on the couch watching TV and wouldn't see her until the morning when she woke me up in my bed the older I got the more my mother's stories didn't make sense even if only one of them were true he must have had at least one opportunity to visit by now Army contracts are only four years and if he was as rich and important as she said then he must have been able to send a little money so my mom wouldn't have to work so hard the only
explanation I could think of was that he was either dead or lost if he was dead I intended to find out where he was buried so my mom wouldn't have to keep waiting if he was lost I'd help him find his way home again a friend suggested that my parents might have gotten divorced and just didn't love each other anymore but I didn't think that was true my mom wouldn't still be hurt if she didn't love him and I didn't think it was possible for anyone not to love my mom so I started my search
I asked my grandparents on my mother's side but they were tight lipped and quick to change the subject I spent to my lunches looking for him online on the school computers but there were hundreds of people with the same name and I only had a single grainy photo to compare it with he might have gained some weight or grown a mustache or even lost an arm in battle for all I knew the only thing I was sure about was that he never changed his name because if he was lost then he'd want to be found
again so I started going down the list of hundreds of people with the right name and sending each a message asking if they were my dad most didn't reply some seemed concerned others creepy but I didn't let that bother me I started out with my city Serenity Falls but quickly expanded my search to the whole state of Wisconsin we'd moved around quite a bit when I was younger but we'd never left the state so I thought that's where he must be looking for us then one day I messaged someone and asked asked if they were
my father and he replied with my mother's name and I knew I'd found him he was older than I expected and most of his hair was gone but he still looked a lot like the photograph a lot like me and no one using the other school computers could understand why I started to cry he asked a lot of questions about my mother he asked for pictures of her and I wanted to tell him everything I told him what city we lived in and he promised to drive there right away even though it was over 100
miles he didn't seem to mind that my mom would still be at work because he was excited to meet me too for the first time in my life my dad was going to pick me up from school I couldn't focus or sit still through any of my remaining classes when the final bell rang I exploded out of my chair so fast I knocked my whole desk over but I didn't stay to pick it up I was the first out of the building and was waiting on the sidewalk within a minute he was already waiting for
me my dad had even less hair than his picture but I didn't mind because he drove a red Ferrari I asked if he really was an international businessman and he left and said he did that in his spare time he didn't want to meet my mom at home or at work because that wasn't romantic instead he wanted to take me to the real Falls the town is named after that's where they had their first date and she could meet us there I texted my mom and let her know a surprise was waiting for her there
and she promised to get off work early it was only about a 20-minute drive but I feel like we really bonded in that time my dad didn't like talking about himself and asked me a thousand questions instead what games did I like to play how was I doing in my classes who were my friends and a thousand other nothings his eyes would light up with even the most boring answer as though it was a miraculous Revelation from on high I teased him for that but he got all serious and said you don't understand I didn't
even know you existed until today you aren't just telling me about yourself you're being created from nothing right here in front of my eyes it really is a bit like a miracle Serenity false was quiet around the Christmas season we were the only ones in the parking lot so we got to drive all the way to the head of the trail which led to the Viewpoint the water was all Frozen in snow and ice and it wouldn't be a waterfall again until the thaw of the spring it was still beautiful because of the long icicles
Lancing off of the jagged Rock the light seemed trapped within the crystals which shimmered as the light faded we stood together in silence overlooking the falls for several minutes I started to shiver but he put his arm around me and Drew me close and I almost started to cry again without knowing why when is your mom going to be here he asked at last not for at least an hour I replied do you want to wait in the car where it's warm he asked why did you really leave I blurted out he withdrew his arm
from around my shoulders and we stood together in silence again I lied earlier he said still staring at the hanging eyes I counted 26 individual icicles before he continued I did know you existed before today then why did you I cut myself short I wasn't ready I loved your mother but I didn't want to have a family yet I'm sorry I Shrugged as if it had nothing to do with me but I couldn't look at him were you really in the Army I asked I was and a diplomat and a doctor I continued he laughed
in response it was a warm sound and I wasn't shivering anymore but you really did love my mom I asked I still do more than anything thing he said that's why I'm here but I'm still not ready to have a kid I don't think I'll ever be I hadn't gotten any colder but I started shivering again anyway he put his arm around me again but it didn't feel as comforting as it had before his fingers were gripping my shoulder a little too tight it's only going to be cold for a minute he said after that
you won't even feel it it will just be like drifting off to sleep I want to go back to the car I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let me go everybody wants something he said but not everybody is willing to do what it takes to get it he slid behind me and suddenly both of his arms were around me I struggled and kicked planting a solid one into his thigh before he got me off the ground he grunted but didn't let go as he Lifted Me Over the railing I braced my feet against
it and tried to push back but he Lifted Me even higher until I couldn't reach it anymore he flung me over the ledge to Tumble down the 20ft drop to the frozen water I smashed straight through the ice and plunged into the numbing depths I spun over once or twice trying to orient myself and by the time I was able to search upward again I couldn't find the hole I'd broken through all I could feel was the underside of the ice it was thicker than it seemed when I fell through my numb fists moved sluggishly
through the water pounding feebly I went back to searching for the hole instead but the freezing water stung my eyes so badly I could barely see I saw the vague outline of his shape through the ice though he was standing directly over me looking down he watched me flail against the underside the weight of my wet clothes was beginning to drag me down and my chest felt like it was about to explode each time I searched upward it became a little harder to reach the ice until the time I couldn't reach it at all and
began drifting down I watched turn and begin climbing up the slope and everything went black I came too a moment later when I heard the sports car rev to life and pull away I lurched upward again and by blind chance one hand slipped through the hole in the ice I couldn't feel my fingers as they latched on to the edge somehow the air was even colder than the water but inch by excruciating inch I dragged myself upward until I pulled myself from the water I was barely alive when my mom found me I didn't want
to tell her what happened but even lies meant to protect someone can do more harm than good I told her everything and she promised never to let that man back into our life again if my future children ever ask me about my father I'm going to tell them the truth that he tried to kill me that he was never caught and that no family is incomplete that has love when I first noticed it in the kitchen my sister was putting the final touches on a batch of Christmas cookies turning to get more icing she bumped
the plate with her hip and it flew into the ground oh gosh darn it she said what gosh darn it I chuckled who are you and what have you done with my sister Britney stared at me blankly look I know my sister she swears like a 50-year-old sailor drunk on cheap beer ruining an hour's work of cookie making should have at least elicited a [ __ ] but it didn't ah I see this is an act for Jonathan I winked at her don't worry I won't tell what are you talking about she asked I bent
down picking up shattered pieces of cookie you know you're constant swearing your secret safe with me I reached for another piece of cookie picked it up threw it towards the garbage instead of falling in it ricocheted off the edge I froze at the exact moment i' said [ __ ] a car horn had blared outside drowning it out completely I frowned another cor horn a strangely loud flock of geese caught outside the window what the is going on here I stared at Britney eyes wide she ignored my question we have to bake more cookies she
continued as if I hadn't said anything if the Christmas celebration tonight doesn't impress Christopher he's going to shut down the community center forever the community center when have you given a train whistle about the community center since I started Wolfies she responded what I asked you know my business baking dogs Christmas cookies I frowned these cookies are for dogs I asked she nodded okay look what has gotten into you I stood up brushing the crumbs off of my hands you don't even like dogs you say they make too much noise and make a mess everywhere
you don't even like animals period or kids that reminds me Christopher's nephew is going to be at the celebration he's an orphan and he loves dogs too I think I'm going to surprise him with a puppy from the shelter I stared at her uh what it's going to to be so awesome ah don't you love Christmas I threw up my hands you're acting really weird right now I'm going to uh go rest for a while okay she nodded eyes wide and a perky smile on her face that's when I noticed something else she wasn't wearing
her usual outfit of a black tank top and skintight jeans instead she was wearing a bright red sweater and a neat skirt her hair which was usually tied up in a messy bun fell in perfect loose waves around her face you're dressed weird I muttered she just smiled back at me I trudged out of the kitchen through the family room I was about to climb the stairs when I stopped something's different well for one my mom's house was clean which was really weird because she's a borderline hoarder who keeps everything from 20-year-old Christmas cards to
free pens the Clutter was gone a fire was going in the fireplace and a fluffy red throw sat across the sofa weird but there was something else my gaze caught on the mantle above the fireplace even from a distance I could tell the photos were different I'd seen the photos there a million times the dorky photo of me and braces I hated the photo of the four of us and our cat they were burnt into my brain not one of the familiar photos remained I stepped closer studying the photos a girl with braces playing outside
a mother and father sitting on a sofa two toddlers between them two girls holding hands while sitting on a swing my heart dropped every muscle in my body paralyzed they weren't us they looked like stock photos stock photos of a family that roughly very roughly resembled ours I ran up the stairs my head spinning my throat dry what's going on here nothing made sense not the way Britney was acting not the way she was dressed not my mom's house not our photos it all clashed in my brain so wrong I collapsed into the bed the
bed of my childhood room the only thing that felt familiar in this house my stuff had been boxed up long ago but the walls were still the shade of lavender i' picked out in Middle School the bed spread was still Deep Purple the mattress was still as soft as a feather I lay there in silence funny how now there were no random car horns or flocks of Canadian geese I was almost drifting off to sleep when I heard it Footsteps in the hallway Britney I called but they sounded louder heavier like a man's footsteps I
shot up in bed my heart pounding our father had passed away several years ago Christmas dinner wasn't for a few days too early for our uncles to be here I backed away heart drumming in my chest hello right called out the footsteps paused who's there I shouted the footsteps resumed closer now so close that they were right outside the door Britney I shouted hoping she could hear me Britney there's someone the door opened my voice died in my throat a man stood there a naked man with only a small towel wrapped around his waist he
stared at me with dark Hungry Eyes then he smiled hey honey are you okay I screamed honey what's wrong the man was rushing towards me I ducked underneath his outstretched arms and ran to the door down the stairs out the front door I heard Britney shouting behind me but I didn't listen I kept running and running in a few blocks I reach reached town but it wasn't our town it was a cutesy little town That Time Forgot with shops lining the sidewalk and tinsel strung up between the street lamps gone were the liquor stores Rowdy
teenagers and endless supply of litter and yes there was even a community center but not our community center of stained concrete and smashed beer bottles in the parking lot no it was now a darling brick building a Christmas candle burning in each window no no this can't be what the [ __ ] is happening I hurried forward as I walked snowflakes began to fall from the gray sky a few landed on my bare arms they didn't melt hey I called out to the nearest person a woman waiting to cross the street with perfect wavy hair
and a bright red peacoat hey can you help me she turns towards me a smile plastered on her face of course what do you need she asked I don't think I belong here this isn't this isn't my town it's I faltered her grin had faded she now stared at me face set in stone eyes burning with hatred then she took a step towards me I ran and that brings us here I've been hiding out behind a perfectly decorated Christmas tree in someone's yard don't worry the house isn't actually occupied despite all the cute lights and
candy canes I looked in the windows the house is completely empty on the inside so I'm safe for now but I don't think it'll be long there's a ring on my left finger probably belonging to the man back at my parents house he'll probably call the police around here and tell them I'm missing that I seem mentally unstable that I should be apprehended immediately at least the internet seems to work but calling Britney's number and my mom's has only resulted and static all I can do now is ask for your help if you turn on
your TV and see a Christmas movie featuring a short girl with a mole on her right cheek and an ACDC t-shirt that's me help me please help me leave this place before it's too late I'm female and 26 this happened before Christmas 2019 and it sticks with me to this day I thought about sharing this many times but I was never sure if it was scary enough I guess you decide my then boyfriend now husband and I decided to meet for dinner at a Christmas Market here in Switzerland he would pick up our dog from
Doggy Daycare and I would get there after work some things are good to know at that point we'd had our dog for about a year he's called Bean he's a medium-sized dog and before he came to Switzerland he was a street dog in Italy he was about 2 and 1/2 years old at the time and he loved and still loves to get all the attention he can get also Christmas markets are incredibly busy here especially after work people will meet there with friends to eat dinner and drink mold wine we got to this Christmas Market
we realized that it was way too busy to walk through with the dog and I sent my boyfriend off to get my favorite Street Food malaak I waited at the edge of the market with bean bean likes to greet everyone who looks at him and by that point i' gotten used to talking with strangers because my dog wanted to meet them so I wasn't too concerned at first when a guy came up to me full transparency I don't remember word for word what was said I'm not even sure what language this happened then I do
remember that bean happily greeted this guy trying to stand up against him and licking his hands the guy asked for his name and what breed he is I told him that bean is a pincer mix that's when the situation started to turn the man insisted that he must be a penji how could I say he's a Piner all of a sudden he switched there's no better word to explain it he grabbed Bean leash and said I'll go now and just try to walk off with my dog thank y I had a firm grip on his
leash I was incredibly confused and flustered and just stammered that he can't take my dog he got increasingly more angry with every second that I didn't let go of the leash I loudly told him to leave me alone and bean started to bark at the man I've never seen Bean this angry and scared at the same time and thankfully the man let go of the leash and slipped into the crowd I was left standing there a dumb founded mess with a mess of a dog Bean was barking and shaking so I knelt down to calm
him down holding him and talking to him my boyfriend was still somewhere in the crowd waiting for our food after a while a woman walked up to me and told me not to put my heel on the floor as she just seen someone put a firecracker there I'm not quite sure the name for this type of firecracker they're small kind of like a quarter inch and usually thrown at the floor to make a little snapping sound on impact someone had put them under the heel of my shoe so it would explode when I put my
heel down to get up now I don't know what's worse was it the same guy that tried to steal Bean or was it someone else who saw a distressed dog and thought wow let's scare that dog a bit more I think the worst thing for me was that apart from that woman who warned me no one helped me when I was harassed by a weird guy even though I loudly told him to go away and there were other people standing very close just watching Bean was the one who scared off the guy in the end
thankfully the events of that evening had no lasting impact on bean he still loves to greet strangers I still remember it and I don't think I will ever forget it when selling a house if a death occurred within 3 years of the house going on the market the seller is required to inform potential buyers of said death this little requirement wasn't necessary in my case everyone within a 15m radius seemed to know about Victoria teller it was a tragic story she had given birth to a bouncing baby boy whose father no one seemed to know
the baby passed away just a few months later and Victoria took her own life a year after that that much was known to be true what was unknown were the circumstances surrounding the incident how the baby died some said a accident some said illness some said murder how Victoria killed herself and what happened in between the popular rumor was that Victoria in her grief stricken psychosis began buying dolls to replace her dearly departed son the doll would then suffer the same fate as the real baby in her mind and she would bury it and move
on to another people mostly teenagers made it a Halloween tradition to search for the doll graveyard they searched the backyard and the woods behind it but nothing was found in the six years that the house was empty I was confident that the house that I bought for my family and I had nothing strange in its history but two tragic deaths the first few months living in the Teller House were uneventful I had to occasionally show away curious locals that weren't aware that our house was no longer empty but I found no ghosts or satanic symbols
or anything of the light it seemed that it was just a house one that I got a huge discount on because of what happened there and the bat juu it was rumored to have acquired because of it by the time the Christmas season rolled around I'd pretty much forgotten about Victoria teller it was the first year that my son Caleb was really aware of anything other than present we lined the roof and windows with lights hung a wreath on the door and put some standing decorations on the lawn we bought and decorated a tree big
enough to fit a toy store underneath which was appropriate because of how many presents Santa was going to bring Caleb that year he was getting more excited each day especially since we'd been dropping some pretty big hints that he was getting a puppy my family was the happiest it had ever been until a week before Christmas my wife had been wrapping presents as we bought them so that we didn't have to stay up all night on Christmas Eve like we had in previous years she'd open the door to the closet that held the presents to
find the wrapping paper torn to shreds her first thought was that Caleb had gotten into them but I doubted that he would be able to contain his excitement if he had it looked almost as if some sort of rodents had shredded the paper but the boxes weren't damaged It All We brushed it off as a mystery and moved the presents to the attic after rewrapping them I occasionally heard some Shuffling from inside that closet but I never saw whatever Critter had caused it I figured I would call an exterminator after Christmas to check inside the
walls soon things started to get really strange I walked into the bathroom to find my dirty clothes scattered around the room and the hamper on its side my wife found the refrigerator door hanging open with food torn up and thrown on the floor Caleb was distraught one morning when he woke up to find all of the toys that he carefully placed in his toy box the night before had been thrown all around his room while he slept all this and the noises in the walls were getting more frequent and were heard everywhere in the house
my superstitious wife was becoming scared that the local urban legend was true that Victoria teller still haunted the house she reasoned that the spirit was becoming more active because we were so happy preparing for the holiday with our son something she never got to do I laughed at her Theory I really shouldn't have Christmas Eve my wife and I put Caleb to bed we had returned to his room several times to tell him that if he didn't go to sleep Santa wouldn't bring him anything when I was convinced that he was finally going to stay
in his bedroom I picked the puppy up from my mother's house and brought it home we hadn't named him yet but he was a golden retriever puppy that was energetic as he was soft and fluffy after playing with him for a while we put him to bed in his crate ate the cookies Caleb left for Santa and turned in for the night I was jerked from my Slumber by a blood curdling scream my wife and I followed our son's cries for help to the living room Caleb had snuck out of bed and found the puppy
instead of the happy fluff ball that we had left by the tree he found a mangled metal crate filled and surrounded by fur blood and chunks of discarded meat my wife took Caleb into another room to console him while I checked for intruders and signs of a Breakin I found nothing so I returned to the living room and began cleaning up the mess I was kneeling on the floor convincing myself that there was a silver lining in the fact that we had hardwood floors instead of a carpet when I heard a tinkling noise come from
the tree I turned my head just in time to see a pair of big blue eyes staring at me from the branches I jumped to my feet and backed up a few Paces just as the First doll dropped from the tree it was followed by three others they were those delicate porcelain dolls wearing what were probably pretty little dresses at one time I couldn't tell because the dresses were covered in dirt and blood I watched with a mixture of Terror and disbelief as all four dolls slowly Rose from the ground and started toward me the
dreams of my wife and son snapped me out of my horrified trance the doll's heads turned as I ran from the room to find my family I raced up the stairs to my bedroom where I found my wife standing on our bed with Caleb in her arms dozens of porcelain dolls varying in states of damage and filth were standing on the floor surrounding the bed they were making their way toward my loved ones with their tiny arms stretched out reaching for the woman and child who were desperately trying to stay away I started kicking the
little demons out of the way as I hurried to the rescue of my wife and child I didn't think a bunch of [ __ ] dolls would be so hard to push through but I was wrong for everyone that I kicked away four more came at me they grabbed and pulled and thrashed and bit and I found myself moving away from the bed instead of toward it after noticing that most of the Dolls had directed their attention to me I yelled for my wife to run I hoped that I served as enough of a distraction
for the demon toys that her and Caleb could get away unharmed the dolls that were still trying to reach them were clinging to the sides of the bed climbing with delicate little hands my wife jumped off the bed stumbled and fell Caleb's head hit the floor and the resulting cries caught the attention of many of the dolls I was desperately trying to fight off and keep away my wife tried to write herself and gather our son before the wave of small monsters got to them but she was too slow I watched as the dolls quickly
swarmed Caleb and began tearing at his flesh my wife started trying to get them away but they turned on her when Caleb stopped thrashing I made my way to them just as my wife stopped fighting I saw the despair in her eyes as a doll with black hair and a gray tattered dress bit a chunk from her throat the creatures moved so fast there were so many of them we didn't stand a chance I don't know how long I stood in my bedroom watching a hord of dolls ripping apart the two people I loved most
in the world before I realized that I was no longer being attacked every porcelain creature was crowded around what was left of my wife and son feasting on them I've regretted what I did next every day since I ran I bounded down the steps as fast as my feet would carry me I reached the front door when I I heard a woman's voice come from the second floor that's right my children fill those bellies so you can grow big and strong I shut the door behind me and fell down the steps of the front porch
after vomiting up the cookies I'd eaten earlier that night I turned to look at the house peeking out of the window illuminated by the colorful Christmas lights was a gaunt woman wearing a t black dress she smiled through a veil of stringy hair as a doll climbed up the front of her dress and in to her arms then closed the curtain I'm going to make this as short and as clear as possible possible if you find any Christmas presents under your tree after Christmas day that you didn't place there call the police leave the house
immediately and whatever you do do not open the gift I lived with my wife Maria and my two young boys in Melbourne Australia that's where my wife is originally from and most of her family lives less than an hour from us on Christmas Day we usually have a lot of presents under the tree gifts from my wife and I gifts from the grandparents gifts from the boys all are placed there that's why last Christmas we weren't worried when I found a present under the tree that neither my wife or I had put there it could
have been from one of our parents when they came to visit on Christmas Eve it could have been from one of the boys could have been from so many people and we didn't give it a second thought it had no gift tag on it so we decided to leave it there and not open it until we found out who it was for and who sent it so when I got up on the 26th early to make coffee that was the only present left under the tree it was a small box maybe 6 in tall and
6 in wide wrapped in bright red wrapping paper there was a little green bow on top and it all looked expert ly wrapped but when I came out into the living room that morning there was something off about that present that I couldn't place it wasn't until later that I realized the wrapping paper had been completely green on Christmas day and it wasn't until later that I noticed that red had leaked on the floor around the present as well throughout the day our kids played with the new Christmas loot as Maria and I called different
relatives and asking if they'd left a little red gift under our tree as the day went by and more and more family members told us they hadn't sent a gift we started to get confused we weren't worried but we were definitely puzzled there had been no signs of a Breakin or forced entry but the gift had to have come from somewhere Maria and I spent the entire day trying to figure it out and when night came around we were mentally exhausted Ed we put the kids to bed and followed soon after now I'm usually a
pretty heavy sleeper but something woke me up that night I'm not sure if it was a noise I heard or if I just had too much coffee during the day but I found myself wide awake at 2: a.m. and my throat was dry as hell I finally slid out from under the covers and slipped into my slippers careful not to wake Maria sleeping next to me I walked out of our bedroom to the kitchen almost slipping on some spilled water on the floor muttering a curse I turned on the kitchen light and poured myself a
glass of water from the refrigerator I stood there in silence for a few minutes drinking my water as I leaned against the kitchen counter my mind was occupied with travel plans we were going to Japan for New Year's and when I finished the water I put my glass the sink and turned around to turn off the light by chance I happened to glance over to the hallway that connected to the living room and that was when I froze from Where I Stood I could see right to our Christmas tree and I saw that the mysterious
present had been opened and what I had almost slipped on what I had first thought was spilled water was revealed to be a trail of bright red blood leing leing from the open present towards the bedrooms my body was frozen in shock for a few minutes but I quickly snapped out of it I grabbed the biggest kitchen knife we had and I crept over to the hallway careful not to make a sound my heart was racing as I followed the trail of crimson back towards the bedrooms and my blood froze when I realized that it
was leading me into the boy's room I stood out inside the bedroom doorway for a moment trying to build up my courage for whatever waited for me in the darkness then I sprang into action running into the room and switching on the lights in one quick movement I had tried to prepare myself but what I saw made the knife slip out of my hand and my jaw drop in horror my boys had twin beds on either side of the room Micah the old was on the left side and Jamie who was a year younger was
on the right I saw mic first sleeping soundly and wrapped in his sheets but when I turned to Jamie I almost threw up his sheets had been thrown off the bed and he was sprawled out across his mattress in an unnaturally rigid pose his limbs were bent back in no ways that bones should be able to move and and his unseeing eyes were open and staring up at the ceiling blood covered his pillow his mattress everything attached to his neck was the most hideous thing I'd ever seen it was like a cross between a leech
and a slug and it was easily almost 2 ft long and almost a fourth of that in width and the thing was latched onto his neck it was smooth and slimy and dark green almost the exact same color of a Christmas Pine but as I stared at it for a moment I realized it wasn't attached to his neck it was in his neck the creature had torn open Jaime's throat and had burrowed its head into the exposed wound as I stared on in horror I saw the thing pulse and wri as it fed off of
my dead son's blood and God knows what else for a cursed minute I couldn't move I couldn't even look away I stared on in Frozen horror before I finally tore myself away and stumbled back into the hallway I knew Jamie was dead without having to check and I knew that I had to call the police but I think I was going into shock because all I could think of in that moment was to stagger into the living room to inspect the present it was then that I saw that the box was locked through with blood
and the top of the box had been ripped off by the creature that was held inside there was something in there that I couldn't make out which the police later identified as a dismembered hand most likely put there to feed the creature once the Box had been sealed yet when I bent down to inspect the Box I saw a small scrap of white paper that was perfectly unstained by the blood I picked it up with shaky hands and I was barely able to make out the words written on it an impeccable cursive this is the
gift that awaits everyone on the naughty list let it be a warning to you all Cole is hungry and he will feed Mary Christmas sign SC so I've actually never posted on Reddit but I've become obsessed with this community and wanted to share my story I will say that my mom is a disabled parent and has a hard time moving around so I was scared for my mom this happened back in 2016 on Christmas Eve night we just gotten back from my sisters and we were sitting in the car for a few it was fairly
cold keep this in mind also a side note we had a bunch of cats so at first we hadn't thought anything of it we sat there for about 10 minutes and we heard rustling not thinking anything about it because of the cats we blew it off not even a minute later we heard it again my mom just so happened to look up and there was a bald man in a wife beater tank top and shorts my mom and I both had that uneasy feeling because of his choice of clothing it was 32° and he's in
summertime clothes weird my mom has her window cracked and he was barely a foot from our car my mom yelled out to him and said to back away from our car which surprise surprise he didn't he continued to stand there and stare at us my mom decided to try and scare him she yelled out to him that she had a firearm and she would blow his [ __ ] away in those exact words she didn't have it on her but she definitely made sure he thought she did he threw his hand up but continued to
get closer to our car so my mom threw her phone at me and I was told to dial 911 I told the dispatcher what was going on and she said she'd have the police there right away my mother proceeded to try to run him down but he went between two porches and our car wouldn't fit because of how close they were finally about half a [ __ ] hour later the cops finally showed up and took our our statement the station was literally right down the road from us and if he had actually tried something
I felt as if it would have been too late if he hadn't run I wouldn't have thought he had ill intentions but he did run so I was very pissed off it took so long for the cops to show up the cops stayed and looked everywhere for him but they came up empty my mom nor I slept that night or finished opening presents because of fear that he would come back the police thought maybe he wanted to steal the gifts that were in the car but we may never know the scariest part is months later
