so I thought I would make this video today for you guys because just a couple days ago one of my friends who has been Drp Shipping reached out to me and he told me he wasn't making any sales with the Shopify store he told me that he feels like he tried everything to get some action on his store but nothing is working for him now me being me I know that he has not tried everything because if he did try everything he would have some sales so I had to ask him okay well was there any social proof behind the product that you're selling I mean kind of okay next question have you checked in on the quality of the traffic that you're getting to your store how do you do that all right bro are you at least running any promotions I'm giving out free shipping so at this point I'm like all right man just send me over your store and let me take a look at it now you can probably imagine what I saw because now I'm here making this video I mean this store was all over the place and just scream scam with the different fonts different colors and the overall layout of the store and look there's no shade to my friend because he knew he was struggling and he reached out because he knew I could help him and not to blow myself up but I mean what a friend to have in this situation so because of this I'm about to show you the same things that I showed him that helped him take a store conversion rate and sells from looking like this to this in just a couple of weeks and I can guarantee one thing if you're not doing the things I talk about throughout this video with your online store you're going to consistently struggle with getting sales or even worse be stuck at no sales at all now listen I'm going to be choosing one of you in the comment section down below and giving you a full breakdown of improvements that can be made on your Shopify store to help you increase your sales overall all you to do is smash that like button down below get this video to 2,000 likes comment the word Shopify with your biggest takeaway from this video and stick with me through it all right so the first thing I need every single one of you watching this is to pay attention to the social proof surrounding the product that you're selling because social proof is one of the main important things that you can gain from consumers it's literally them telling you exactly what they want and when they want it and that's something major to know while selling online way too often I see beginners try to hop into Drp Shipping with a product that has no social proof behind it just choosing whatever product that they think could work and moving forward with it in reality if this is your plan while choosing a product to sell you're probably going to be looking like my friend with no sales let me be the first to tell you it's not always a store that's a problem sometimes it's the product so that's the first thing I checked when my friend came to me about his store and there's a pretty simple way to go about this all you have to do is search a few key wordss on Google Trends to make sure that consumers are actually searching for terms that your product could be shown in for example if if you were looking to sell this product right here simply because you know summer is coming up then your first step would be to head into Google Trends and Search terms surrounding the product like dog pool and summer and then check the trends and when consumers are searching for these type of things over the past 5 years as you can pretty clearly see the trends of these terms are about to start trending pretty heavily in searches and they Trend around the same time every year which means there will be a demand for the product that you're selling social proof then the next thing that you should be doing is going into some of your competitor stores who are also selling that same product and checking to see if they're getting traffic to their store with an extension called similar web and this will tell you everything that you need to know from consumers interest to if they're still running ads and an estimate of how much they should be making from the amount of customers that are coming to their store so if we head back into our competitor store I'm going to go ahead and open up similar web and I'm able to see that they're getting about 12. 6 th000 monthly visitors to the store already and this is before the trend picks up to figure out how much you're making I'm going to take that 12. 6 th000 visitors and I'm multiply it by the industry Shopify conversion rate which is 2 1/2% which is going to provide me the number of 315 and this is an estimate of how many orders that they have so if I take this 315 and I multiply by their selling price of $54.
95 this is going to tell me the estimate of how much money they actually make this one competitor is potentially pulling in over $117,300 in a single month on a training product that hasn't even reached its peak yet and let me tell you from simply looking at their product page they can be pointing in even more with a few fixes to their landing page that I'm going to be putting you all on to in a little bit outside of consumer searching the product and competitors getting traffic to their store seeing comments under competitors ads pretty frequently is always a bonus since that's immediate social proof that consumers are actually interested in the product now when I looked into my friend's product I quickly realized that the social proof on the product was not the problem consumers were interested in the product and actively searching it so it was time to look into the next possibilities that could be stopping him and you from making sales with with your store and this could be because of the quality and the amount of traffic or lack of traffic that's coming to the store you see the type of traffic that's coming to your store is a determining factor in whether or not you're going to be making the sales that you should a lot of people don't know this when Drp Shipping but the type of ads that you're putting out can bring you in the cheapest traffic but that is not always the best the type of ads that you're running can bring in lower quality traffic with consumers who are not ready or serious about buying this is what you'll commonly see within a PPE Campaign which are usually usually ran to immediately get some visibility on your ads and cheaper clicks into your landing page on the other hand you have targeted ads which typically bring in traffic that is more expensive but it's filled with consumers who are ready to purchase this is because while you're running targeted ads Facebook uses an algorithm that helps push these ads to people that usually interact and purchase from ads like yours this means with targeted ads you'll be gting traffic to your store with consumers that have proven themselves as buyers which just immediately increases your chances of receiving sales that can change a game for you and your online business and I made an entire step-by-step tutorial to show you how to set up these targeted ads the right way even if you're on a budget so you can start getting trapped into your store filled with consumers who are ready to buy and this is something that we teach with personalized coaching throughout my one-on-one mentorship program that has helped take complete beginners from nothing to running successful online businesses in just a couple of months so if that's something that you're looking for then there's an application form down in the description below for those of you who are serious about taking your online store to the next level but in this case the friend that that I was helping seemed to be running the right typee of AD campaigns and based on the data in his campaigns it seemed like the type of traffic that was coming was the ideal traffic so because of that we had to go into the next factor to look into before checking in on his actual landing page which might be the same issue that you're running into that's causing you to miss out on sales and that's the amount of traffic that is coming to your store it's pretty obvious that in order to get customers to convert into sales you have to actually have customers coming to your store and if customers are not coming to your store then that's going to tell you that something is going on with the app they're not engaging enough the first 3 seconds isn't catching their attention or your call to action just is not strong enough so if you've already verify that the product is in demand and you're running the right type of AD campaigns that are aimed to bring consumers who are ready to buy but you're just still bringing in low quantities of traffic your ads are probably the culprit you see there's something called ad fatigue that can happen on the market which basically means that consumers get tired of seeing the same advertisement through their timeline and because of this they do not interact with your ads or come to your store a lot of the time this happens because online sellers are seeing an ad that is performing really well for another seller and they just take that ad and they try to run it as their own so now instead of just having one Advertiser using this ad you now have 10 advertisers using the same ad the fact is there's always going to be other sellers advertising the same product as you so the best way to combat this app fatigue so you can stand out from them is by getting personalized and branded ad content made while listening to what the consumers want out of the product something I always do with every product I'm selling is look at the comment section on Amazon Amon or under competitor ads to see different ways that consumers are using the product or reasons they wanted to get it and then just go get advertisements created from that Insight if you can find just one way to market the product better than your competition you're going to see a major increase into the traffic that's coming to your store so I had to put my friend on to the same company that I'm about to tell you all about drop ship media drop ship media will create ads that are meant to gain attention and get customers to your store with a turnaround of just 48 Hours content is King when it comes to selling online so the more engaging and attention grabbing content that you have the more traffic that you're going to see com to your online store I'll drop a link to their site in my description below if you want to try their service out too and you can use code Alex code 10 for $10 off all of your orders now when you're finally gting that traffic and you get at least 500 store sessions that's when it's really time to look at the conversion rate of your store as mentioned earlier the industry standard conversion rate for an e-commerce store is about 2 1 half% so this means for the 500 visitors that are comeing into your store you should at least see about 12 to 13 purchases on your store well my friend was falling well under that 2 and 1 half% conversion rate and if you find yourself in the same position but everything that we talked about previously is lining up for you then it's time to start looking at what's happening on your actual landing page there are hundreds of changes that could be made when it comes to your landing page to try to get your conversions up but for this video I'm going to give you the three main factors that you need to be focusing on now if you want me to break down the many many other changes that can potentially boost your store conversions let me know in the comment section below and I'll either make another video or I'll go live and let you guys in on everything that I've seen work but for now let's focus on the big three which are AB testing customers experience and quality of information different types of consumers are going to be coming to your store and it's your job as a marketer to determine what works best for the audience that you're gaining and that's exactly where AB testing is going to come into play one of the best things that you can do it sets out different offers and different prices of the product since these are going to be the first two things that consumers see when they come into your store for example if you have free shipping over $30 on your banner right now and you're not seeing any conversions you might want to try out a different offer that's just free shipping let that run for just a couple days and see if the conversions pick up the same goes for the pricing of your product in general you want to be selling your product for at least 2. 5 times the cost of good sold to help you remain profitable even after spinning on ads to simplify this down this means that if you're getting your product from your supplier after shipping for $10 you take that 10 and you multiply by 2. 5 which is going to give you $25 and this is the minimum that you can sell the product for to at least reach that 2.
5 margin and what you'll commonly see is that your competitors who are selling the same product might be selling it for $34.
