Here we can see how our Iran protests, crackdown, and regime risk conversations trending over time. We can see where they were back in June and then once again how they trended over time going down all the way to November before popping back up again in December and now in January where you can see it is now higher than it was back in June of 2025. Now, as we dive into the relations, we can better understand some of what is being spoken about alongside it.
And one interesting thing here is United States military intervention in Iran is about 5% of the conversations currently in January. Now, if we look at that over time, we can see back when the strikes on the nuclear sites happened back in June, it was at a similar percentage, right at 4. 7% of the conversation.
similarly in July. Uh and so you kind of see during these major events, it's been sitting around 5%. But what's an interesting question is how has that context changed over time?
And that's where you might want to get into a brief and ask about how has the Iranian nison reaction to US military intervention evolved from June 25 to January 2026. And that's where you can ask a question like that right here. select the region of interest and go ahead and understand what that brief looks like.
Now, if we focus in on that brief, we can see that broken down here. Uh, and and you can see actually a lot of the posts during June uh were more around war reporting, but also a little bit more of the condemnation around the US strikes. Well, now as you fast forward to December 2025 and January 2026, um they it seems like there is actually a desire for intervention amongst some of the protests.
Uh and you can kind of see that further broken down here. So all the different cohorts from the pro- regime risk and how or the pro-regime accounts where you can see how it's changed uh and those continue to condemn the strikes from June and also warn against threats uh warn against US threats uh versus the anti-regime those were uh framed as helping the people back in June and now they're even more pro uh looking for US support. But then you have another cohort that was anti-regime but also anti-intervention.
So uh you know emphasizes back in June the human cost of war and rejects escalation and critiques Trump's threats is counterproductive. And then you have the human rights and digital rights focused posters. And then finally some of the new aggregation that's going on here.
And you can see example posts here across each of those different groups of people.
