anxiety and spiritual weakness into your day in this video we will uncover four harmful mour habits that displease God habits that must be eliminated before it's too late we will dive deep into biblical wisdom explore powerful scriptures and expose the subtle mistakes that many Believers unknowingly make stay with me until the end because the final habit may be the very thing blocking your breakthrough don't skip this message your spiritual growth depends on it let's begin habit one starting the day without prayer ignoring The God Who woke you up imagine a child who wakes up every
morning in a home provided by their parents yet never acknowledges them they eat the food prepared for them enjoy the comfort of their house but walk right past their parents as if they don't exist they never Express gratitude never pause to appreciate the love that sustains them how would that make a loving parent feel now think about how God must feel when we start our day without acknowledging him each morning we wake up with breath in our lungs strengthen our bodies and another opportunity to live but many of us don't even take a moment to
thank God for it instead we reach for our phones check emails or dive straight into our daily responsibilities as if we are in control of our own existence Proverbs 3:6 tells us in all your ways acknowledge Him and He Shall direct your paths but how can we expect Divine guidance if we refuse to acknowledge Him at the very start of our day PM 53 says in the morning Lord you hear my voice in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly mornings are meant to be sacred a time to align our hearts
with God's will fortify our spirits and prepare for the challenges ahead yet neglecting prayer means stepping into the day disconnected from our source of power wisdom and protection it's like a soldier going into battle without armor vulnerable to every attack of the enemy even Jesus who was sinless and full of divine Authority made prayer his priority Mark 1:35 tells us very early in the morning while it was still dark Jesus got up left the house and went off to a solitary place where he prayed if Jesus saw the necessity of morning prayer how much more
do we need it take a moment to reflect what is the first thing you do when you wake up do you acknowledge God or do distractions take priority if prayer is not your first action ask yourself who truly rules your mornings make a commitment today to start your day in the presence of God even if it's just 5 minutes of gratitude it's a step in the right direction begin with Lord I Thank you for another day guide me Lead Me protect me let your will be done in my life as you develop this habit you
will notice a shift in your mours your perspective Ive and your spiritual strength Habit to complaining instead of expressing gratitude for some the first words out of their mouths each morning are not praise gratitude or Thanksgiving but complaints I didn't sleep well I have too much to do today I don't feel like going to work the very breath that God gave them the strength that allowed them to rise eyes is immediately used to Grumble complaining is not just an innocent habit it is a spiritual problem it reflects a heart that is ungrateful and lacking Faith
every new day is granted by God not because we earned it but because of his grace yet instead of thanking him many choose to focus on what's wrong this habit displeases God because it shows a refusal to recognize his goodness Philippians 2 14 warns us do all things without complaining and disputing this includes how we begin our day complaining blinds us to God's faithfulness shifts our Focus from his goodness to our discomfort and sets a negative tone for the entire day when the Israelites wandered in the wilderness their constant grumbling provoked the Lord's anger numbers
14 2729 records God's response how long shall this wicked congregation complain against me I have heard their complaints just as you have spoken in my hearing so I will do to you God here's what we speak if we wake up speaking negativity we invite struggle and frustration into our day but if we begin with gratitude we attract peace joy and divine favor consider a parent who prepares breakfast for their child only to hear the child complain about the meal instead of saying thank you would that parent feel inclined to give the child more blessings certainly
not this is how we sound to God When We complain instead of giving thanks complaining is a choice you may think I'm just expressing how I feel but you are choosing to focus on the negative rather than the positive that choice has consequences Proverbs 18:21 tells us death and life are in the power of the tongue what you speak you impower if you start your day speaking complaints you frame your world with negativity but if you begin with gratitude you align yourself with God's blessings 1 Thessalonians 5:18 commands us give thanks in all circumstances for
this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you would you catch that in all circumstances not just when things are easy but always no matter what challenges the day may bring gratitude should be your first response begin your mornings by thanking God for his Mercy provision and the gift of another day this simple shift will transform your entire Outlook and open the door or to Divine favor these are just two of the four habits we need to examine and eliminate stay tuned as we uncover the final two habits that may be hindering your
spiritual growth if you're serious about strengthening your relationship with God start by making these changes today your M set the tone for your entire day make sure they honor God when everything seems easy and when it feels overwhelming when things go your way and when they don't give thanks gratitude is not dependent on circumstances it is anchored in the unchanging goodness of God now let me ask you what is the first thought that crosses your mind each morning is it gratitude or frustration do you rise thanking God for breath strength and another chance or do
you start your day dreading what lies ahead already speaking negativity I challenge you today to break this pattern before reaching for your phone before stepping out of bed before uttering any other words list at least three things you are grateful for say thank you Lord for this new day thank you for my life health and strength if you train yourself to wake up with gratitude your life will transform your attitude will shift your heart will grow lighter and the enemy will lose his grip on your mind because you will no longer give him a foothold
in your thoughts gratitude is a powerful weapon it silences the adversary dismantles the stronghold of depression relieves the weight of stress and invites the presence of God into your day your home and your heart so I urge you stop this habit before it is too late stop allowing complaints to be the first words you speak stop declaring defeat before the day has even begun stop dishonoring god with a heart that refuses to recognize his goodness instead choose gratitude choose praise choose to magnify God over your problems when you begin the day with Thanksgiving you open
the door for His blessings to follow you throughout the day now let's talk about another major issue filling your mind with worldly distractions what is the first thing you expose your mind to every morning before you leave your bed before you even say a word to God what is shaping your spirit many instinctively grabb their phone scrolling endlessly through social media news feeds filled with fear or messages that distract rather than uplift others turn on the television letting the world's chaos be the first voice they hear some even allow music with destructive lyrics to dictate
the rhythm of their day before they have uttered a single prayer what you expose your mind to first thing in the morning sets the tone for the rest of your day if the first thing you consume is filled with stress fear or negativity you are programming your mind to operate under that influence for the remainder of the day instead of feeding your spirit with the word of God instead of clothing yourself in his full armor you are stepping into the day unprotected vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy the Bible tells us in Matthew 633
but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you you seek first not second not after social media not after checking emails not after browsing gossip sites first because whatever you seek first reveals what truly rules your heart if your phone is the first thing you reach for in the morning then it has become an idol if the news is your priority then fear and anxiety are governing you Romans 12:02 reminds us do not be conformed form to this world but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind every morning you have a choice will you conform to the world or will you renew your mind in Christ if the first thing you absorb is worldly do not be surprised when your thoughts actions and emotions align more with the world than with God think of your mind as a garden and whatever you plant in the morning will grow throughout the day if you seow seeds of fear anxiety and distraction those will take root in your spirit but if you so worship scripture and gratitude faith and peace will flourish consider Jesus example in
Mark 135 very early in the morning while it was still dark Jesus got up left the house and went to a solitary place where he prayed Jesus the son of God the one with all power and authority began his day by seeking the father if he prioritize time with God first how much more should we imagine waking up and immediately turning on the news you hear about crime economic turmoil political unrest and disasters what happens fear grips your heart anxiety floods your mind and now you carry that weight into your day stepping out already burdened
stressed and distracted you have allowed the world to dictate your mindset before Consulting God but what if instead you woke up and the first thing you did was worship what if your first words were scripture what if the first thing you read was the word of God instead of walking into the day with fear you would walk in faith instead of stepping out in stress you would step out with peace instead of reacting to problems you would be led by the spirit I challenge you try a three-day fast from checking your phone first thing in
the morning before social media before the news before distractions invade your mind spend time in God's presence start your morning with worship begin with prayer open the Psalms and declare Lord I give you this day order my steps fill my heart with your peace let my thoughts be aligned with your words when you give your mind to God first he will shape your perspective for the rest of the day when you seek Him First his presence will go before you when you fix your eyes on him and the in the morning you will walk in
Clarity power and anointing all day long so stop letting the world be the first voice you hear stop giving your first moments to distractions instead of devotion stop feeding your spirit junk food before you have even received your daily bread instead plant seeds of Faith worship and scripture because what you sow in the morning determines what you will reap throughout the day another major Pitfall is rushing into the day without seeking God's Direction life is full of choices some small some life-altering but each day you face decisions that will either push you toward God's purpose
or pull you away from it yet so many wake up and charge into their day without pausing to seek guidance from the one who holds their future they assume they know the way they assume they can navigate the challenges ahead alone but let me tell you assumption is danger dangerous when you are walking a spiritual path when you move ahead without consulting God you may be walking straight into a storm that could have been avoided how many times have you made a decision you later regretted how many times have you stepped into a situation only
to realize you should have waited on God's voice Proverbs 1603 instructs us commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established that means before you check emails before you start a meeting before you enter a relationship before you sign a contract committed to God why because he knows what you do not he sees what lies ahead he understands the Unseen battles the hidden traps and the Divine opportunities you may never recognize on your own as Isaiah 30:21 tells us your ears shall hear a word behind you saying this is the way walk
in it but if you rush into the day without pausing to hear God's voice how will you recognize his direction if you never stop to listen how will you discern his guidance imagine using a GPS in an unfamiliar City before starting the journey you enter the destination because you need to know how to get there but what if you refuse to check the directions assuming you could figure it out along the way you risk getting lost you risk unnecessary detours the same applies to life without seeking God first you risk walking down a path you
were never meant to take taking the wrong path wastes precious time and some missteps come at a steep price they can lead you far off course and certain roads will only end in dead ends this is exactly what happens when you begin your day without seeking God's guidance you step into the unknown without Direction make emotional choices instead of wise ones carry burdens that were never meant for you and rush into battles you were never called to fight you spend unnecessary time fixing mistakes that could have been avoided if only you had waited on the
Lord look at Jesus our perfect example though he possessed all wisdom power and authority he never acted without first Consulting the father Luke 6:12 tells us one of those days Jesus went out to a mountain side to pray and spent the night praying to God when morning came he called his disciples to him and chose 12 of them even in selecting his disciples Jesus did not rely on his own understanding he prayed first if he the Son of God sought the father's guidance how much more do we need to seek him before making decisions let
me ask you do you seek God's direction for your day before making choices or do you move forward in your own wisdom hoping for the best let's be honest many of us treat God like a last resort we make decisions first and when Things Fall Apart We come running back crying Lord help me Lord fix this but what if we revers that approach What If instead of making plans and asking God to bless them we first sought his will before making a single move I challenge you today before starting any major task pause and ask
God for wisdom before making a decision pray Lord what would you have me do direct my steps it only takes a moment but that moment could save you from unnecessary hardship listen closely rushing ahead of God is dangerous moving without direction is reckless but when you take time to seek his will when you surrender your day into his hands when you allow him to be the compass of your life you will find that your path is smoother your burdens are lighter and your soul is at peace so stop waking up and rushing into the day
without first Consulting the one who holds your future stop depending on your own understanding when the creator of the universe is waiting to guide you stop making choices without seeking Divine counsel instead make a commitment starting today to seek Him First to wait for his wisdom and to move only when he directs you because when you acknowledge Him in all your ways he will direct your path and so my friends let tomorrow morning Mark the beginning of a new spiritual discipline no more stepping into the day without God no more allowing the enemy to fill
your mind with distractions before you even rise from bed no more waking up unarmed ungrateful and spiritually vulnerable instead dedicate the first moments of your morning to him honor God first start your day his way so you can walk in his power his favor and his author Authority if this message has blessed you type in the comment section Lord I will put you first in my mornings and before you go don't forget to like subscribe and share to help spread the word of God may the Lord bless you all
