good evening and welcome to this guided meditation this meditation is designed to be used in the evening or at the end of your day whatever time that may be this meditation will allow you to take some time for yourself to switch off allow your inner self to be still and just a few brief moments of pure bliss and relaxation [Music] to begin find yourself a safe comfortable position one free from distraction and one way you can allow yourself to truly relax forgetting about anything other than this moment just allow yourself this time as you most
definitely deserve it [Music] be still be one with yourself completely unwind and just tell yourself to relax [Music] turn your awareness inwards to your breathing there is nothing you need to do just breathe nice and easy and notice the rise and fall of your chest allowing your heavy eyes to close down each breath you take making you feel more and more relaxed each rise and fall of your chest making you feel more at ease [Music] take some time to think about the muscles in your feet and your ankles allow them to release all tension and
when they release that pressure just allow them to completely relax moving up to your legs and your calf muscles your thighs through to your knees [Music] really let go and just allow them to relax enjoy the feeling as they release all tension feeling nice and light just enjoy the feeling [Music] still breathing nice and easy feel the wave of relaxation move up your back spread around your stomach and into your core easing that tension just let the pressure release completely at ease up into your chest like a wave of warming light around into your shoulders
and down through your arms into your hands and your fingers feel that relaxation relaxing your everything remember you are completely safe and in complete control allow the relaxation to spread up to your neck and into the back of your head just give yourself permission to truly relax [Music] this is you allowing your body to fully relax enjoy the feeling you deserve it [Music] round from the back of your head allow your face your lips nose eyes every muscle relaxed as you sink deeper into total relaxation completely letting go each breath you take taking you deeper
and deeper and deeper now that your day is nearing the end think about the things you have achieved today any small victories or wins finishing a task or job sticking to your diet making time to go to the gym or work out trying to be more positive or just putting aside time for your own well-being looking after yourself and your own well-being is something that is extremely important and often something that is completely overlooked be proud of yourself for working on your own mind [Music] it can be so easy to forget to train our minds
to meditate or to allow them to rest it's very easy to get caught up in our day-to-day lives our daily rituals and routines but remembering to take some time out for yourself to work on your inner peace you will find is greatly beneficial [Music] meditation allows us to calm our minds to be in touch with our inner peace to reflect to build on our self-awareness and reduce our negative emotions instead it allows us to focus on the positive to see our glasses half full increase our patience and tolerance and perhaps gain new perspectives [Music] meditation
helps reduce our stress levels and in turn any anxiety [Music] it allows us to reflect on our lives and take note of the direction in which we are headed spend some time now reflecting on your own life focus on everything that you are thankful for things you are grateful for and those that bring happiness to your life [Music] now you can remain in this mindful state of relaxation for as long as you wish and if you wish to drift off into a peaceful sleep then continue to rest in that deep relaxed state waking up naturally
and only when you are ready to do so feeling refreshed energized and fully grateful if however you wish to wake you need only to open your eyes smile and bring yourself back to full reality making your decision now as my voice leaves you remain positive be grateful and remember to take care of yourself
