sin my guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to Bear My Wounds fester and are loathsome because of my sinful folly I am bowed down and brought very low all day long I go about mourning my back is filled with searing pain there is no Health in my body I'm feeble and utterly crushed I groan in anguish of heart all my longings lie open before you Lord my sighing is not hidden from you my heart pounds my strength fails me even the light has gone from my eyes my friends and companions avoid me
because of my wounds my neighbors stay far away those who want to kill me set their traps those who would harm me talk of my ruin all day long they scheme and lie I am like the deaf who cannot hear like the mute who cannot speak I Have Become like one who does not hear whose mouth can offer no reply Lord I wait for you you will answer Lord my God for I said do not let them gloat or exalt themselves over me when my feet slip for I am about to fall and my pain
is ever with me I confess my iniquity I am troubled by my sin many have become my enemies without cause those who hate me without reason are numerous those who repay my good with evil Lodge accusations against me though I seek only to do what is good Lord do not forsake me do not be far from me my God come quickly to help me my Lord and my savior have mercy on me oh God according to your unfailing love according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me
from my sin for I know my transgressions and my sin is always before me against you you only have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight so you are right in your verdict and Justified when you judge surely I was sinful of birth sinful from the time my mother conceived me yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb you taught me wisdom in that secret place cleanse me with hisp and I will be clean wash me and I will be whiter than snow let me hear joy and gladness let the bones you
have crushed Rejoice hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity create in me a pure heart oh God and renew a steadfast Spirit within me do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing Spirit to sustain me then I will teach transgressors your ways so that Sinners will turn back to you deliver me from the guilt of Bloodshed oh God you who are God my savior and my tongue will sing of your righteousness open
my lips Lord and my mouth will declare your praise you do not Delight in sacrifice or I would bring it you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings My Sacrifice oh God is a broken Spirit a broken and contrite heart you God will not despise may it please you to prosper Zion to build up the walls of Jerusalem then you will Delight in the sacrifices of the righteous in burnt offerings offered whole then bulls will be offered on your altar out of the depths I cry to you lord lord hear my voice let your ears
