hey guys if you're watching this video you probably have an accent in English just like I do and my accent used to be way stronger but I just wanted to talk to you about this if you are afraid to speak English because of your accent I want you to listen to some amazing people in different Industries who have accents like Natalia vova in fashion DOL and gabana in fashion Kim in Formula 1 whatever industry you're interested in there are people who have accents and most people who I meet here in the US who are immigrants
they could have lived here for 20 years for 30 years they still have an accent and it's totally completely fine I recently met this Italian guy who produces luxury fashion photo shoots and he speaks with a strong Italian accent which makes him so unique and a lot of Americans especially in fashion they look up to Europeans cuz this is where a lot of Trends are coming from and he was like you know I am so ashamed I've lived in the US for seven years and I still have strong thick Italian accent I'm like this is
exactly what makes you unique this is exactly what makes you you I met Natalia vova last year and she's a Russian model and Natalya wouldn't be Natalya without her accent I just want you to embrace your whole personality and understand one thing people talk to you people listen to you not because of your accent and how amazing your English is they listen to you because you're interesting because you're beautiful because you're an expert in what you do because you are genuinely passionate and excited about the topic I am genuinely passionate and excited about the topic
of English language this is the language that opens so many doors for me and this is the language that I use every single day here in the US to achieve my dreams and I'm like this is such a powerful tool and of course I'm working on it of course there are sounds that ideally you could fix because sometimes they hinder understanding sometimes you say things like you know in the US people say hot coffee I'm exaggerating here but in the UK they would say hot coffee and if you say hot coffee quietly here in the
US some people might think you say cold coffee this is my real life example when I said that and I was served cold coffee instead of hot because hot is hot and not hot there are some things people will not understand if you mies up some sounds or you mispronounce something but again I've been in so many situations where somebody has a very strong accent who barely speaks English but they're an amazing developer they're an amazing founder and people just listen to him and they don't care how they sound because they know it's fixable so
