I'm s Gomez and I'm a woman in Hollywood the first time I saw myself in a character was on Barney and Friends I was 7 years old and it was very weird and I got made fun of a lot in school cuz I was in fourth grade on Barney but hey look at look at where I'm at now the first woman in the industry I would say that influenced me in a way would be Jenifer Aniston she was one of the first few women in Hollywood that I really meant Jennifer always gives me advice on
personal stuff or even just like dealing with all the craziness sometimes this town can get lonely so it's nice to have people to look up to a Hollywood moment that still amazes me I will never forget when Merl Street walked in on set for only my murders in the building I couldn't breathe for the first 2 minutes but she was unbelievably disarming and so lovely that was one of the first moments I realized that I was in a company of someone with Grace in class and so much talent so I felt like a sponge and
I wanted to absorb all of her knowledge and just become someone I look up to advice I would give myself when I was first starting out was are you sure are you sure cuz I was so young but I loved it and um I guess I would say to myself don't worry about what other people will think and um stay authentic to yourself most difficult lesson I've learned in my career is to never doubt myself I think that I've prevented myself from getting opportunities and parts because I wasn't confident enough in what I'm able to
do and what I'm capable of doing so I've learned to really just try to trust my instincts and just perform as much as I can with the best of my ability future of Hollywood is women
