Wake Up With God: Start Your Day in His Presence | Morning Prayer

[Music] I place him first in your life and then watch him work just put God first in those plans your plans are not wrong you're trying your best to follow after the will of God but put him first in those plans insert him at the beginning of those plans and give him license to change whatever he needs your plans are okay but put him first be open to his Direction it is fascinating that the decision to put God first has nothing to do with what's going on in the world around me or what my present

state of resource is it is simply a decision and a deliberate action in my current [Music] reality when should we put God first live it into practice right now shouldn't we wait till we get more stuff no what do we have in our hand right now whatever you've got God start putting him first right now the power to put God first is already in our hand wake up every morning and just start thanking him for just your life your kids your job your house your food your clothes your money your car your husband your boyfriend

and then immediately after that you'll have a better day God must be first but you need to to settle it in your heart as if the choice were imminent God first and included in that thought is leading our families into the same mindset an unshakable heart conviction that God must be first in our lives think of what Joshua said as for me and my house we will serve the Lord I'm going to lead them into this thing if you'll put God first in your life and talk to your kids this is why we go to

church this this is why you know Daddy reads the Bible this is why we give God the first part of our income and they will see the fruit of that in your life the Lord does need to be first when it comes to our families if it were within my power to give a gift to every person under the sound of my voice it would be an ear to hear what the spirit is saying to us to train our ears to get up in the morning to hear what God is saying to us when God

speaks he's never wrong when God gives Direction he's never out in left field he knows what he's doing can I say it like this there is not a greater time than right now to live a God first life there's nothing you cannot do if you and God are doing a righteous thing The Impossible can be done it can be done it can be done stop saying if say I will by God's grace stop saying it's impossible nothing is impossible to those that believe nothing stop saying I don't know the right people you know God the

Father the Son and the Holy Spirit those people have lots of power Master the art of forgetting the past Paul says forgetting those things which are past and Reaching Forward to what lies ahead I press toward the prize of the calling of Christ Jesus the Lord today is a new day this day is a new day get up every day intending to do your very best for God knowing ahead of time that you're not going to hit the mark 100% perfect but believing that God is more than enough to cover your sins and take care

of them God doesn't want you to live in the torment of self-doubt believe you can hear from God believe God loves you believe he's got a good plan for your life believe that there's no mistake that you can make that is too great for God to turn it around and make it a miracle in your life how often do you get up to say father I want to thank you that you are my strength today and if you have a job that's very difficult do you ever say to him Lord I need your strength today

to get this done I don't even know how I'm going to be able to do what I'm supposed to do do you're my strength and what you've done is you have invited the Lord God into your life so to speak through his holy spirit to enable you strengthen you encourage you and no bo does not let you quit because with him you can accomplish anything God has set before you to accomplish the devil always wants to tell you what you're not but see whatever you're not Jesus will make up for it and make you more

than enough if you put your faith in him and don't always go around saying I shouldn't have done that I mean how many times in my life did I get up early in the morning to spend time with God and I would pray and study the Bible and I mean every time I would get done the devil would make me feel like I prayed wrong I didn't pray in the right posture I didn't pray in the right position I didn't pray long enough God didn't hear me and I had had to learn to stop believing

those lies and stop doubting myself and you know what that may be one of the most important things that you'll hear for a long time stop doubting yourself you know what God believes in you but it's not going to do you any good if you don't believe in you too every day of our life every day of your life is a gift from God it's not to be wasted and to say well I'm not going to do anything today you can speak you can walk you can handle things you can help many things you and

I can do until the last day of our life you and I should be serving him in some fashion and it's not how long you live it's what you do with your life God has a purpose for your life you need to find out what it is and give him your life and ask him to build strength into your life so that whatever years you have left you don't want to waste them in other words if there's a purpose for your living there are goals in that purpose things that he wants you to accomplish and

often times a person won't they won't set a goal in their life because they think well that's too high God would never do that for me so they get down here no listen is God weak no God's great he's powerful he's omniscient we should set Godly goals Godly goals for our life that look like it's something we can't do but God will help you reach it if you're willing to walk the pathway of obedience and faith in an optimistic Spirit trusting him in everything you do are you frustrated about your limited success financially professionally academically

are you frustrated with your lack of success have you tried your best and produce nothing listen make failure your teacher not your Undertaker make failure your teacher and not your Undertaker persistence overcomes resistance persistence is the willingness to give another try rather than to look for an alibi persistence finds a way While others are looking for an excuse you're not finished until you think you are if you think you're beaten you are if you think you dare not you won't if you want to win but don't think you can win you won't win if you

think you're outclassed you are If You Think Like A Champion You Can Be A Champion but you will not be a champion Until You Think Like A Champion let us remember as we live our lives that God in heaven has empowered us to do the impossible you have that Authority what are you doing with it dear heavenly father I praise you and give you all the glory I thank you for the gift of another day to experience your love and goodness I want to thank you for all the blessings in my life in your hands

I place today I will rejoice with gladness for your grace and your blessings Lord I am grateful for the simple things that bring joy to my my life thank you for the people in my life who bring me happiness and support I am grateful for my loved ones and friends thank you for the relationships that enrich my life and bring me Comfort I am grateful for your love and forgiveness oh Lord today I praise you for your faithfulness and unconditional love towards me and my loved ones Lord you are the source of all goodness and

mercy and I thank you for your presence in my life and for always being there for me as I go about my day Lord help me to live with a heart of gratitude may my words and actions reflect the thankfulness I have for all that you have done Lord today I seek your guidance and wisdom please show me the right path to take and give me the understanding to make wise choices help me to discern between right and wrong and to follow your will in all that I do guide my steps and direct my path

so that I may walk in accordance with your purpose for my life grant me the wisdom to make decisions that align with your truth and bring glory to your name help me to see things clearly and to understand your ways I pray for clarity and peace in my heart today whenever I am faced with difficult choices choices help me to trust in your wisdom knowing that you have plans for my life that are good and perfect as I seek your guidance this day please speak to me through your word through wise counsel and through your

Holy Spirit Lord open my ears to hear your voice and give me the courage to follow where you lead Lord I acknowledge that you are all knowing and all wise I depend on you Lord to show me the way and to lead me in the right direction thank you for your promise to guide me and to give me wisdom when I ask I trust in your faithfulness and in your perfect plan for my life this day I let go of anything that cannot remain under the blood of Jesus I let go of all negative old

habits all sinful habits all impure thoughts I let go of all negative people I choose to remain covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and I claim the protection provision and direction that comes from being covered by the blood of Jesus Lord I place my confidence in you help me to trust you wholeheartedly even when circumstances may seem uncertain or challenging strengthen my faith that I may believe in your promises and rest in your unfailing love teach me to lean on you in times of trouble knowing that you are my source of strength knowing that

you are my very present help in times of trouble increase my faith dear God that I may walk with unwavering trust in your plan and purpose for my life give me the courage to step out in faith even when the path is unclear knowing that you will guide my steps today I thank you for the gift of faith dear God I pray that my faith May grow deeper and stronger today and each day Lord may my faith Inspire others and bring Glory To Your Name Lord today I ask for the grace to trust you in

the midst of Trials and challenges you are my refuge and strength and I know that in you I find unwavering support and guidance father I ask for discernment to recognize your hand at work even in the midst of difficult circumstances open my eyes to see the lessons you want me to learn and Grant me the patience to wait upon your perfect timing today I humbly seek your grace to surrender control to let go of my own understanding and to trust in your Infinite Wisdom help me to place my hope in your love and faithfulness father

I I ask for your forgiveness and mercy I am grateful for your mercy that is new every morning I ask for your grace to cover me please forgive me for the times when I have hurt others with my words or actions I also ask for your forgiveness for the times when I have disobeyed your Commandments or neglected to follow your will I am sorry for the times when I have chosen my own desires over your plans for me [Music] Lord I am grateful for your mercy that knows no bounds thank you for extending your mercy

to me Lord help me also to show the same mercy and forgiveness to others I am grateful for your mercy that is new Every Morning Lord I am grateful for the fresh Grace you pour out upon me each day may your forgiveness transform my heart and guide my actions in times of struggle and Temptation may your mercies be my strength and refuge help me to turn to you in every situation knowing that your loving arms are always open wide to receive me strengthen me to resist the Allure of sin and to walk in righteousness fill

me with your holy spirit that I may have the strength to overcome every obstacle that comes my way Lord deliver me from all the evil that surrounds me you are my refuge and strength and I trust in your power to overcome all forces of darkness in the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke every force of Darkness that may seek to oppress deceive or bring harm into my life I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper for you are my shield and my Fortress let your light shine upon me dispelling all darkness and filling

my life with your divine presence this day deliver me from the snares of the enemy protect me from the schemes and attacks of the evil one surround me with your angels Lord
