A rich man walked into the bank and arrogantly skipped the line. The teller spotted him and smiled sweetly. "Sir, welcome.
How may I help you? " He slipped $1,000 under her keyboard. Without a word, she abandoned everyone else and began to process his transaction.
A poor old man, whose turn it was, raised his voice. "Ma'am, I've been waiting here," but the lady ignored him. He stood there silently hurt.
"Hours passed, still no attention. When she finally looked up, the old man stepped forward. "I'm here for my pension," he said, handing her a file.
She didn't even open it. "Come back tomorrow," she said and left her desk. He came again and again.
Four days in a row. On the 5th, the lady leaned in. "It takes two months to process pensions, but I can finish it today.
Just give me 20% or you can go ahead and report me. " Tears welled up in his eyes. He remembered his sick wife in the hospital.
With no choice, he signed the document, but she instead took 30%. Later, the man sat in a corner silently crying and counting what was left. The branch manager passed by and saw him.
"Sir, what's wrong? " she asked. he explained.
Moments later, the teller was summoned. This poor man has been coming here. Rather than help, you decided to steal from him the little he had.
You are fired immediately, and I'll make sure you repay every dime you've stolen.
