[Music] kind of worries me that this is [Music] separated Market Street power plant was built in 1905 by the New Orleans Railway company in 1922 it was acquired by New Orleans Public Service Inc making all power to New Orleans produced by Market Street power plant the power was produced by burning coal and using the Mississippi River water for cooling it stopped producing power in 1973 and was there as a backup until 1984 when it was closed for Good due to environmental violations and it's been abandoned ever since we're going to explore this old place and
