[Music] dear heavenly father as I stand on the threshold of a new day I come before you with a heart full of gratitude thank you for the gift of life for the breath in my lungs and for the opportunities that lie ahead in the midst of uncertainty I find comfort in the unchanging truth that you are my rock my Fortress and my refuge Lord guide my steps this day be the compass that directs my path and the light that illuminates my way in the moment of uncertainty grant me the wisdom to discern strength to persevere
and a heart that seeks your will Above All Else Jesus be the center of my thoughts the foundation of my actions and the source of my joy may your love flow through me reaching those I encounter help me to be a beacon of hope kindness and compassion in a world that often needs it I Surrender my worries and burdens to you grant me the peace that surpasses all understanding and fill me with your joy as I face the challenges of this day remind me that your grace is sufficient and your mercies are new Every Morning

study and understand the Bible without prayer we cannot enter or sustain a marriage without prayer we should not take Journeys without prayer or form friendships without prayer the Bible encourages us to devote ourselves to prayer to devote yourself is to commit yourself it's to give over to remain steadfast in prayer well then inadvertently this means that you should stay away from everything that will affect your prayer life negatively Psalm 17:6 says I call on you my God for you will answer me turn your ear to me and hear my prayer I'm encouraged by this verse
in the Psalms because the psalmist presents the full Dynamic relationship when a person with faith reaches out to God the verse says I call on you my God for you will answer me now take note he didn't say and you will answer me but rather he said for you will answer me by saying for you will answer me the psalmist is telling us that he is praying with the expectation that God will answer his prayer he is praying with the faith that God will turn his ear and hear his prayer oh how we need to
put this into practice in our own lives how we need to pray with faith how we need to pray with the expectation that God will answer us the Amplified translation of Romans chapter 12:2 says constantly rejoicing in Hope because of our confidence in Christ steadfast and patient in distress devoted to prayer continually seeking wisdom guidance and strength listen you and I we are to be constant in prayer we are to pray all time and to pray without ceasing dear friend we're called to pray persistently and I want you to understand that persistence when it comes
to prayer it's not just an option it's a commandment from God himself Jesus always instructed us to pray and never to lose heart because prayer is the lifeline of a believer and now you have to understand the difference between praying persistently and having a long prayer session when you are persistent in prayer you may not necessarily pray for a long time but you don't give up on God you do not stop believing and praying that's persistence it means not giving up it means you are consistent and you are Relentless now let me tell you some
days you might just feel like giving up some days The Joy might go your energy may be low your feelings may fade away but let me tell you the thing you should never do never give up I need you to always remember that it's the Lord's commandment to keep praying without ceasing and if you do in due season you'll be rewarded it's important that you have a passion for prayer because as a Believer you're not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities seated in high places but listen we are protected by the Lord when
we cover ourselves in prayer when you talk to God your relationship with him gets deeper day by day so I encourage you I'll go a step further I challenge you even to make prayer your passion make it your lifestyle make prayer a daily practice let's go to the throne of God together father God you are worthy to be honored and praised your word in Matthew 26:41 it says watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak Holy Spirit teach us to pray teach us to
pray so that we will not fall into temptation even though our flesh is weak strengthen us Empower us to fight and pray Holy Spirit put within me a hunger and thirst to seek after God's presence give me the right attitude put a fire within my soul to be persistent in prayer as I seek the presence of the Lord Lord we do desire your presence we are praying and seeking your presence I pray that the Holy Spirit would teach us the importance of prayer I pray that the Holy Spirit would teach us to be diligent in
prayer Psalm 16:1 says you make known to me the path of life in your presence there is fullness of joy at your right hand are Pleasures forever more Lord I want to experience that I want to experience the fullness of joy this in your presence the psalmist said at your right hand are Pleasures forever more father that's what I desire not the fleeting pleasures of this world but only what you have in store for me I understand that to be a joyful Christian is to know God's presence may your presence be so heavy on me
and so heavy around me that even unbelievers will be able to see the super natural Joy which is upon my life and it'll be all because of you father I seek your presence because in it there is safety Psalm 31:20 says you shall hide them in the secret place of your presence from the plots of man you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from The Strife of tongues father Keep Us hidden in the secret place of your presence your presence protect us from every evil plot it Shields us from all negative words spoken against
us there is power in your presence almighty God and we desire that power to be upon our lives so my prayer today is that you may hide me in the secret place of your presence where no evil can approach but I am blessed to be in fellowship with you Holy Spirit keep ever before me the importance of persistent prayer keep keep ever before me the faith that I should have wrapped up in my prayers Holy Spirit when I go to the throne of God remind me not to just Babble but to speak to God and
expect him to hear me and to answer create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a steadfast Spirit Within Me Lord thank you for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus the blood which purifies me from all sin and from all unrighteousness thank you that through him I have access to your wonderful presence you alone Are Holy and you are worthy to be praised thank you Lord that through the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I can now approach your throne with boldness and with confidence father I bless your holy
name and I'm also grateful that through the Holy Ghost you make your presence available to me anytime and anywhere may your name forever be lifted high and be glorified father I thank you for hearing this prayer it's in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we pray amen what does the word of God say about the world that we live in I would like to give you three Bible verses that should give us a godly perspective on how we ought to live our lives in this day and age first John 2:1 15 says do do
not love this world nor the things it offers you for when you love the world you do not have the love of the father in you Romans 12:2 says and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God and finally James 4:4 adulterers and adulteresses do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God there are
three messages that we can clearly extract from these scriptures as children of the lord we are not to love the world we are not to be conformed to this world and we're not to be friends with the world because the Bible says that Satan is the God of this world and that means that the devil has his tentacles in this world's philosophies and beliefs there's a lot of evil that influences worldly music and the entertainment industry and sure enough if you take a look at this world through the lens of the Bible you'll notice a
trend what the word of God stands for the world is against the Bible in 2 Corinthians 4:4 says among them the God of this world Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the The Illuminating Light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God those who have been blinded by Satan live under a delusion they won't see that the Love of Money drives so many ungodly things in this world they won't see that sexual immorality has been normalized in this world as though the Bible
doesn't tell us to flee and so as Believers in Christ we are called to live in this world but not to love this World although we are in this world we cannot conform to it that means that the standards of this world they are not our standards the behavior accepted in this world that is not the kind of behavior outlined in the Bible as Believers the only way we can keep from being Swept Away by this world is to keep our eyes firmly on Jesus Christ when you look to Jesus there's no devil no demon
that can blind you when you look toes Jesus there can be no love for anything in this world because your love for Christ it will always be greater and so as we approach God In Prayer let us approach it with the intent to not love this world but to love all the things of Christ dear heavenly father this world needs believers who are full of Christ I pray that you would fill us with the Holy Spirit and Empower us to declare your gospel the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world we need you Lord
Jesus in this world where there's so much evil influence I pray that you would keep us grounded keep us grounded in your word Lord keep us rooted in your word so that we would never be influenced by the forces of Darkness we call upon the holy spirit and we invite him into our lives into our hearts and homes may he give us the strength required for each day May the Holy Spirit lead us into a future that is rooted in Christ the future that is in your arms help us holy spirit so that we can
let go and move on from a past of sin and hurt lead us to Christ fix our eyes on the sacrifice that he made at the cross on Calvary turn our hearts to desire the things of God King Jesus touch our hearts so that our love for you would be greater than anything on this Earth give us hearts that do not love the world or the things in this world but Minds that are fixed on your word I pray that you would renew repair and Revive Our Hearts our minds our souls give us peace where
there is unrest give us closure where we need closure give us strength in those areas where we are weak father we desire to live a life that's pure and pleasing to you we desire to live a life where we're not cycling in and out of sin so we ask you to cleanse us master I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ the precious blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary for us Lord we pray that it would cleanse us from sin you are a God who generous in love who's great in compassion father
hear our cry today we want to be a people who live lives that please you we want to live lives that honor you and obey your word and to do this we need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and when the Holy Spirit empowers us we can resist temptation we hold on to your word in psalm 103: 11-13 for as high as the heavens are above the Earth so great is his love for those who fear Him as far as the East is from the West so far he has removed our transgressions from us
as a father has compassion on his children so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him Empower us to have victory over sin Lord help us to reject the pleasures of this world father we are not slaves to unrighteousness but to righteousness Empower us to overcome daily this struggle of sin make us clean vessels ready to serve your kingdom almighty God we bless your precious name for you are worthy to be praised thank you Father for listening to this prayer it's in jesus' name we pray amen sometimes in life we encounter pain we encounter
heartache and we can face circumstances that can cause us to ask questions there are some situations that simply drain our energy and strength as Believers we need to realize that we cannot overcome everything that comes our way without the help of the Lord without falling into the arms of the Father the pain will always always be too much without the strength and comfort of the Holy Spirit heartache will destroy us without the hope faith and knowledge of knowing that Jesus Christ defeated the grave then we won't be able to overcome the challenges of life with
man it is impossible but With God all things are possible we serve a God who is not only living but he operates with no limitations no boundaries or restrictions we can look back at the word of God and see that he has power and authority and strength over everything and everyone he created the heavens and the Earth he parted the Red Sea he spoke to Nature and it had no choice but to obey he commanded a den full of hungry Lions not to touch Daniel and they listened the Lord commanded a huge fish to swallow
Jonah and to keep him in its belly for three days and three nights unharmed and it listened Pharaoh couldn't stand against him Goliath couldn't stand against the power of God the prophets of Baal were no match for the Lord you see the devil has been defeated and will always be defeated because our God is Almighty our God is all powerful and there is none who can stand against him so as children of God we have every reason to rejoice and declare Romans 8:31 What then shall we say in response to these things if God is
for us who can be against us when we need Divine strength from above we can call on a God who has no limits there is no limit to his strength no limit to his wisdom and knowledge there is no limit to his patience love and mercy Psalm 145:8 and9 says the Lord is gracious and full of compassion slow to anger and great in Mercy the Lord is good to all and his Tender Mercies are over all his Works God works beyond the limit of man so be encouraged to call on the Lord for strength when
the mountain in front of you looks daunting Our God can move mountains he can part Seas speak to Nature and shut the mouths of hungry Lions dear God your word tells me in Isaiah 40: 29 that he gives power to the weak and to those who have no might he increases strength in my weakness give me strength Lord Jesus I thank you for the privilege of being able to approach your throne of grace knowing that you love me and care for me Lord when I am weighed down by the cares of Life be my strength
when I feel as though I am being crushed by my troubles be my strength Lord strength me to stand strong when my faith is wavering strengthen me in my moments of weakness I pray that the Holy Spirit would remind me that your strength is made perfect when all of my strength is gone your strength is perfect in my weakness I pray that you would equip me to handle all of life's difficulties I am strong in you I am strong with you Lord and I can only overcome Because of You King Jesus Holy Spirit IR strengthen
my faith the word of God tells me in Philippians 4:1 13 that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Lord I believe that through you I can overcome and have victory in every area of my life I believe that through you I will have the strength to stand Lord I believe in your wonderwork power I believe that the blood of Jesus Christ still has power today the blood of Jesus Christ still has the power to deliver to protect to heal and to defend me and my family from the devil father strengthen me
and help me to become a Believer who is fearless and bold because of you when voices of doubt and fear attempt to drown my faith I pray that the Holy Spirit would remind me that your grace is sufficient and your strength is made perfect in my weakness your word in Psalm 46:1 reminds me that God is our refuge and strength and everpresent help in trouble thank you for always being there for me Lord I praise you for your consistency because time and time again you have provided me with all that I need to keep standing
in faith you are and you have always been faithful to deliver me from all of my cares and troubles you are worthy to be praised Lord because you have never been defeated you have never lost a battle and the Victory belongs to you Jesus may your name be lifted High always I thank you for your goodness in Jesus name I pray amen you have a choice each day you live regarding the attitude you choose the longer I live the more I realize the importance of choosing the right attitude in life it is more important than
your past more important than your education or your financial situation it's more important than your circumstances your successes or your failures more important than what other people think say or do it is more important than your appearance your giftedness or your skills it will make or break a company it will make the difference between a happy home or a miserable home you have a choice each day you live regarding the attitude you choose you cannot change the years that have passed you cannot change the daily tick of the clock I'm convinced that life is 10%
what happens to me and 90% how I respond to it the same is true for you our attitude is our thought life turned inside out it's something that's in us but everybody sees it it comes out in facial expressions it comes out in body language it's the posture that we decide to take toward our life your attitude is an inward feeling expressed by outward Behavior that's why your attitude shows without you saying a word what is an attitude it's the portrait of your mind it's the advanced man of your real self its roots are hidden
but the fruit is always visible it's our best friend or it's our worst enemy it draws people to us or repels people from us it's never content until it's expressed it will determine your success or your failure but our attitudes are the most important factor that determine our success and our potential here in this life president Thomas Jefferson said nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal nothing on Earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude if you've got the right attitude nothing can stop you if you've
got a wrong attitude nothing can help you our attitudes determine our success and happiness more than any other factor in our life how many of you have seen people with the right attitude do nearly impossible things how many of you have seen people with the wrong attitude hardly do anything anything your attitude makes all the difference every circumstance in your life today your attitude helps you decide whether it's a blessing or a burden whether your challenge is inspiring you to believe God for more or it overwhelms you and you're frustrated by your circumstance your attitude
is what you use to determine whether or not you're going to give God the praise and the thanks that he's worthy of or you're going to complain to everybody you meet about what you're lacking in your life studies show that your attitude can have a greater impact on your success than your IQ you can be extremely talented have incredible potential but if you don't have the right attitude it will keep you from rising higher you can't change other people you can't change how you were raised a lot in life we can't control but one thing
we can all control is our attitude attitude is more important than aptitude and your success and happiness in life it's not your aptitude it's not how smart you are it's not how talented you are you give me a less talented person any day with a good attitude rather than a talented person with a bad attitude I can do more with that person your attitude is Paramount in your life I have a picture in my office at home it's a picture of a ship on a very troubled sea and the reason I have that picture there
is it reminds me of this saying a calm sea never produced a good sailor an easy life never produced a great person it's not what I'm going through it's how I'm going through it you know I would much prefer to work with with somebody who has a good attitude and is not as skilled I'd much rather work with somebody like that than to work with somebody that's highly skilled but has a stinky bad attitude amen so it's really not our aptitude that gets us promoted in life nearly as much as it is our attitude your
choice of attitude is without question the single most important choice you make every day aw toer wrote Our attitude toward things is likely to be in the long run more important than the things themselves the general public is watching whether we like it or not and our attitude is what they remember and unfortunately what they never forget far more than what we may preach or write or sing or [Music] say and some of you have already begun a habit of negativism toward life already developed a spirit of entitlement as if you've got this earned or
you deserve certain treatment we need to do a real revisiting of our attitudes put your foot down and say I refuse to go through life with a bad attitude I am not going to let what happened to me who did me wrong what I didn't get keep me from becoming all I was created to be God I know you being for me is more than the World being against me that's what allows God to show out in your life but too often we're holding on to the hurts disappointments the things we don't understand that poison
our attitude steal our passion you have to let it go this is a new day you see the aggressive response when you don't choose a good attitude is to blame or to have self-pity both of them are pathetic what an absolute waste I made a list blame never affirms and assaults blame never restores it wounds blame never solves it complicates blame never unites it separates blame never Smiles it frowns blame never forgives it rejects blame never forgets it remembers blame never builds it destroys some of you think you got all these problems and you're blaming
everything on your problems but it's not your problems it's your attitude toward your problems that is the problem Victor Frankle was in the concentration camps and he said you can take away every right that I have but there's one thing you cannot take away from me and that's my attitude it's mine and if I want to have a good one nobody can make me have a a bad one the choice of attitude made all the difference in the life of Victor Franco they will not make me hate I will live in hope they will not
make me bitter I will forgive they will not make me mean-spirited I will love they cannot make me anything I do not choose for myself your attitude is yours and nobody can force you to have a bad one if you don't want to I'm going to say that again again your attitude is yours it doesn't belong to somebody else and nobody can make you have a bad attitude if you don't want to have a bad attitude nobody amen how many of you actually really believe that see maybe we don't think about it like that we
think well you know I'm just like this because I've got all these problems but being like that doesn't solve your problems it doesn't change your problems what it does is it makes you miserable and probably most of the people around you nobody enjoys being around somebody for very long that's got a bad [Music] attitude you have a choice each day you live regarding the attitude you choose how important it is that we let that attitude stay positive you can change the way you live by changing the way you think I hope that comes in you
can change the way you live by changing the way that you think I clip this this is something that Charles Chuck Swindle wrote it's one of the finest things he wrote in my [Music] estimation he says this the longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life attitude to me is more important than facts it is more important than the past than education than money than circumstances then failures than successes than what other people think or say or do it is more important than appearance giftedness or skill it will make or
break a company a church a home the remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will Embrace for that day we cannot change our past we cannot change the fact that that people will act in a certain way we cannot change the inevitable the only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have and that is our attitude I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it and so it is with you we are in charge of our
attitudes dear heavenly father as the dawn breaks and the sun rises I am reminded of your faithfulness and love that never cease today I come before you with a heart filled with gratitude for the gift of life and the opportunity to witness your wonders a new Lord as I embark on this Day's Journey I Surrender my plans and desires into your hands guide me in the paths of righteousness and Grant me discernment to make decisions that honor you grant me strength to face the trials that may come my way fill me with your wisdom and
understanding that I may navigate the challenges ahead with Grace and perseverance father I pray for your Divine protection to Encompass me like a shield guard me from the schemes of the enemy and shield me from all harm and danger Lord I lift up my loved ones to you asking for your blessings to be upon them surround them with your protection and love and Grant them your peace that transcends all understanding may your presence be a constant source of strength and comfort in their lives Lord as I go forth into this day may I be a
