If you have a Bible, go with me to 2 Corinthians chapter 6. Today we are continuing in our 12-part series called Miracle Season. Somebody shout, "It's a miracle season." >> 2 Corinthians chapter 6:14, it says, "Don't be yolked together with unbelievers. For what does righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Balo? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God
hath said, "I will live among them. I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." Therefore, come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I'll receive you, and I'll be a father to you, and you'll be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. And the church said, "Amen." >> Today is part number 10 of our series, and we're calling it the miracle within. Somebody shout the miracle within. >> Miracle within. >> I am believing God this
year for the presence and glory of God to fill this room and fill our small groups. Say amen if you believe that. >> Amen. >> For people to be be delivered from addictions that's battled for years, if not decades. Amen. For those who've battled depression to be set free and receive the joy of the Lord. From marriages that's been struggling to actually be restored and renewed. For those who've been living under bondage of financial pressures and lack to receive abundance and financial miracles. For those who've been sick and infirmed to actually be healed by the
power of God. For those who've been possessed and oppressed by the demonic to actually be set free by the power of the Holy Spirit. >> This is our miracle season. And what I've learned about miracles is that many time miracles will happen outside of you before they happen inside of you, before they happen around you. Um, I have a word of the Lord for someone sitting this section. Sir, do you have is that a red shirt or an orange shirt that you have on? Is that's red. Okay. Is that orange that you have on? Red.
Okay. Cuz I felt like I had a word of the Lord for somebody who has an orange shirt and I can't really see what that is. Okay. Um, I see a lady back there. Is that orange or is that pink? That's pink. Well, I'm missing it over here. Maybe somebody else. No, I'll just I'll move on then. But anyway, many times we want miracles to happen around us, okay? But they first happen in us before they happen around us. Are y'all with me? >> And so the miracle within is so important because today I want
to talk with you about holiness. Everybody say, "Holiness." >> Holiness. >> Hebrews 12:14, it says, "Without holiness, no one will see the Lord." What is holiness? Write this down. It means to be set apart. To belong fully to God. Not partially, but fully. All right. Holiness, write this down, is inside first, outside second. Okay. It's not just uh what you do on the outside. I think in the church world in certain denominations for years, they tried to it was all about your external stuff. You know, it's like take your makeup off, have long dresses, have
long hair, and that was holy. But you could still be a sinner in heart even though you have external lookings of holiness. So holiness is not an external thing first. It's an internal thing that ex that that changes your external. It does affect the way you dress, but it starts on the inside. And so holiness, write this down, is reflecting God's nature. All right? It's not just following rules. It's actually when you, he says, be holy because I am holy. So we reflect his nature. So holiness is not legalism. All right? Now, what is legalism?
Legalism is an attempt to earn righteousness before God through rulekeeping rather than through faith and grace. It's when you say, "Well, I'm going to earn God's love. I'm going to earn my salvation or I'm going to do all of these different things to be right with God. Legalism starts with rules and leads to behavior modification. But holiness starts with relationships and it leads to heart transformation. Did you catch that? Let me say it again. Legalism starts with rules and it leads to behavior modification. But holiness starts with relationship and it leads to a heart transformation.
And that heart transformation then leads to behavior modification. But it doesn't start on the outside, it starts on the inside. Someone say, "Amen." >> Amen. >> Simply put, holiness is when you live how God's called you to live. So if the Bible says live this way, and you bow to knee to that, and you submit to that, holiness is born. If the Holy Spirit says, "Do this," and you submit to that, holiness is born. So simply put, holiness is when you submit to the will of God and you live his way, not your way. Holiness
means to be set apart. Everybody say set apart. >> Set apart. >> That's why 2 Corinthians 6:17 is so important because it says come out from them and be separate. Separate. Separate. All right. Now, sometimes when a marriage is going through problems before they get divorced, they get they have a separation. Okay? They they have a separation. Now, I don't really believe in separations. um unless there's abuse or something dangerous happening in the house, then you do got to get separation. But many times, separation is a practice for divorce. You are now practicing being independent.
You're practicing being single when you really need to get into the same house, get some counseling, and figure out how to get yourselves together. Okay? But what separation is is saying that I want to put some distance between you and me. All right? And so, um I want to put some distance. I want you to live over here and I'm going to live over I want to put some distance. And I I feel like this I feel like um what God is saying today is that we need to put some distance between us and the
world. >> We need to put some distance between how we used to talk and how we talk now that we got born again. There need to be some distance into into how we respond and you know used to go off and give everybody a piece of your mind, but now you have a soft answer that turns away wrath. There needs to be some distance. Come on. There should be some distance between what you used to do with your body before you came to Jesus and what you do with your body now that you're in Jesus.
For your body is not yours. It's the Lord's. It no longer belongs to you. You have to steward it as a form of worship. There needs to be some distance. Everybody say some distance. >> There should be some distance between who we used to be and who God's called us to be now. >> And so for 10 years of my life, I lived as a Christian atheist. I defined that as a person who believes in God but lives like he doesn't exist. I had a Bible. I owned the Bible, but I didn't read it. I
would go to church if it was convenient for me. All right. Um, I was the kind of person that would come to church late and I would also be the person that would leave early. I remember coming to church, I never thought about serving. I never thought about giving. I never thought about changing my lifestyle. I was a Christian atheist. I believed in God, but I lived like he didn't exist. Ever been there before. All right. Some of y'all still there right now. We going to help you today. That is not the way you want
to live. All right. Matter of fact, if you would have put me on the lineup with 10 of my closest unsaved friends, I drank like they drank, partied like they partied, slept around like they slept around. And that's not a disc towards my friends. That's the reality of where I was. I said I believed in God, but you couldn't see it in my lifestyle. I had talk with no walk. >> I said I believed in something, but you could not see it in my actions. You could not see it in my behaviors because holiness was
not yet formed. It was not yet developed. So 24 years ago in 2001, I got filled with the Holy Spirit. I rededicated my life to the Lord and I had a miracle within. And for the last 24 years, no pornography. 24 years, no profanity. 24 years, I've been sober. 24 years, I've been faithful to my wife. 24 years, I've been a tither. I've been a giver. I've built the house of God. I've made disciples. I've tried my best to live fully for God. 24 years. What happened? There was a miracle within. Some of y'all need
a miracle within. You need a miracle within. There's a miracle that happens on the inside of you before it happens around you. And we're believing for this to be the miracle season where blinded eyes are open, where deaf ears come undone, where legs are growing back, and the dead are raised. But maybe before we see that miracle on the outside, we need a a miracle on the inside. It's the miracle within. Can I can I show you a few things in the word of God? >> Let's look at um look at this. Romans chapter 6
23. Romans 6 and 23. It says, "For the wages of sin is death." >> Y'all with me? >> But the gift of God is what? >> Sin is the enemy of your holiness before God. It actually hinders your fellowship. And the fellowship that you have and intimacy that you have with God is one of your prized possessions of your life. It should be. But your sin actually hinders that fellowship. What is sin? It's missing the mark. It's when God says do this, but you do that. It's when God says do this and you say, "Well,
everybody else is doing that and that's not politically correct." And I mean, you want to live how you feel instead of what he said. That's what we call sin. Everybody say sin. And what Romans is saying is that there's a cost to your sin. It says that the wages of your sin or the cost of your sin is death. So ultimately, our sin put Jesus on a cross and Jesus died because of our mistakes, our shortcoming, our sin. He paid the price for our sin. So the wages, the cost of our sin was ultimately his
death. But I'm here to tell you that if you continue to live in sin, you will still be dying in something. And there's a lot of marriages that are dying because somebody's living in sin. There's anointings that are dying, callings that are dying, your peace is dying because you're doing it your way instead of God's way. I'm preaching better than y'all saying amen. Y'all with me? [applause] >> We need a miracle within. >> This is what I want you to know is that sin is not your friend. You need a miracle within. >> Are y'all
with me today? Go with me to Hebrews chapter 10. Somebody shout, "Sin is not my friend." >> Sin is not. >> Hebrews 10 26. It says, "For if we sin willfully after we receive the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries." Okay. sin here and there is what we call transgression. So if you just mess up here and there, it's what we call a transgression. So there's kind of categories of sin. And every once in a
while, because we're imperfect, we're going to transgress God's law. Sometimes we didn't even mean to. It was a posture of the heart. It was something we shouldn't have been looked at. Shouldn't shouldn't have been looking at. And what do you do when you sin? Well, the Bible says that you confess your sin, turn away from it, for he's faithful and just to forgive your sin and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. So, that's one form of sin. Transgression is when you mess up here and there. Okay, don't get into guilt shame. It's okay. Get back on
the horse. Let's finish. Let's finish out strong. All right. But then there's iniquity. Everybody say iniquity. >> Iniquity is another form of sin which is habitual sin. Hebrews chap 10 26 when it says for if we sin willfully that's iniquity that is I choose sin that is I have a lifestyle of sin it says for if we sin willfully after we receive the knowledge of the truth there no longer remains a sacrifice for sin you say pastor what does that mean I'm not sure but it's scary >> are y'all with me today So what it's
saying is that if you continue to live a lifestyle of sin, meaning that you know you shouldn't be doing this, but you continue doing it anyway, it says after you receive the knowledge of the truth. So you're a saved person, there no longer remains a sacrifice. Now the greatest thing about being saved is that there's been a sacrifice on a bloody cross that has caused the remission of our sins. So, you're telling me that if I willfully choose this lifestyle, that sacrifice is removed from me. >> I don't know what it means, but I don't
want that in my life. >> Okay. Sin is not your friend. Somebody shout, "Sin is not my friend." >> Sin is not my friend. >> We need a miracle from within. >> Are y'all with me today? >> All right. Let me show you one more thing. Go over to Titus chapter 2. Titus chapter 2. It says, "For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to what?" All people. >> Somebody shout, "All people." >> All people. >> And let's read verse 12 together. Ready? Read. It teaches us to say no. >> To say what?
>> No. >> Everybody shout, "No." >> No. >> I mean, shout it like you really mean it. Somebody shout, "No." It teaches us to say thank you. >> No. To what? Ungodliness and world. All right. Underline worldly passions. Woo. And to live self-control. We need to be a people that know how to live self-control. It's a fruit of the spirit. I'm not just falling into sin, being pushed around by the enemy. No, I got I got self-control because I'm submitted to the Holy Spirit. And then it says, "Upright and godly lives in the present age."
So, what is this passage saying to me? In essence, just saying stop flirting with the world cuz the world has nothing it can offer you. >> [applause] >> GLAD I GOT ONE PERSON CLAPPING IN church today. >> And then it says say no. >> And there comes a place in your life where you every believer needs a good no. >> Somebody shout no. >> I mean I need you to be able to get this note. Like no is a renouncing. No is like this thing like devil I'm not living how you want me to live.
Not another day. I'm not going to be outside of the will of God. No. Somebody shout, "No." >> No. >> Are you going to drink that? Are you going to smoke that? You going out? No. >> Do I want to come over? Can I Can we do that anymore? >> Right. We living together, but we not married. What does that mean? Get on somebody's couch is what it means. If holiness is important to you, >> you got to come to the place where you say no to something. See, what happens is we make so many
excuses. Well, right now we just got the finances and the bills and so forth, you got to come to the place where it's like, "No, my body's for the Lord and the Lord is for my body. I'm not doing that. I'm not thinking about that. Don't bring your drama to me. No, no more talk to the hand cuz the faith ain't hearing. Don't be talking negative about people that are not in the room. I'm saying no to your gossip. I'm saying no to your slander. Come on, somebody. I'm saying no to bitterness. I ain't carrying
resentment. Not another day. I'm saying no to unforgiveness. Come on. I'm saying no to witchcraft. I'm saying no to sorcery. I'm not trying to cut corners at work. Somebody shout no. EVERYBODY NEEDS A NO. COME ON, SOMEBODY SHOUT NO. [screaming] NO FEAR. COME ON. NO UNBELIEF, NO WORRY, NO MORE SKEPTICISM, NO MORE RELIGION. SOMEBODY SHOUT NO. YOU GOT TO HAVE A GOOD NO IN YOUR SPIRIT, Y'ALL. >> You got to say no to that which is ungodly. >> You got to say no to worldly passions. >> And so, I kind of jotted down a few
things of why people flirt with the world. And here's just a few reasons I believe people flirt with the world. It's because their identity hasn't fully shifted yet. >> They know they're saved, but not who they are. >> Many believers are forgiven, but they still think like who they used to be. They know Jesus died for me, but they haven't yet embraced I died with Jesus. >> So the world still feels familiar. >> So when you confess Christ, there is a funeral and a birthday that happens all at the same time. You get born again,
but you died. >> Now the life I live, I live by the faith of the son of God who gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20. Remember this. You will always be tempted to visit places you still believe you belong. So if you believe you belong in the nightclub, you probably going to frequent it. If you believe you belong in the drug house, you probably if you believe you belong in a toxic relationship, you going to put up with whatever. >> You got to come to the place where your identity is not found in who you
used to be, but your worth and value is found in who God's called you to be. [applause] Why do some believers still flirt with the world? They want the benefits of Jesus without the cost of surrender. Some believers love forgiveness, blessing in heaven, but they resist obedience, the cross and lordship. >> And this creates a half-hearted surrendered or a half-surrendered life which always pulls towards the world. Remember this. Jesus cannot be savior without being lord. >> Right? >> So at the end of service where we ask you to lift up your hands, those of you
all who want to give your life to Jesus, what you're saying is that Jesus, you're my savior. You died to save me, but you're also the Lord of my life. >> The lordship of Jesus is so important because Lord means master, ruler, and controller. That means I'm not in control. I now give you control. You are the Lord of my money. You are the Lord of my mindset. You are the Lord of my sexuality. And I bow the knee to your lordship. [applause] >> Why do some believers still flirt with the world? Here's another thing
that I wrote down. They've lost all of God's holiness. So, they have a low fear of the Lord. And when the fear of the Lord fades, casual Christianity grows. God becomes familiar instead of holy. Grace becomes permission instead of power. And sin becomes manageable instead of deadly. The cure is not fear of punishment, but reverence for God's presence. >> Remember this. When God feels small, sin feels safe. When God feels small, sin feels safe. Now, here's the honest truth. I don't know how some believers live the life that they live. If there are certain things
I got involved in, I would think that I would just blow up from the inside and lightning. And I know that's not the case. Matter of fact, the scripture says because the consequence of sin doesn't happen expediently, it's in the heart of humanity to continue to sin because you think that there's no payback for your behavior. But the wages of it is death. It just don't happen overnight. You're creating soul ties. You're creating generational curses. If you sow to the flesh, you'll wreap corruption and destruction. It's on its way. >> We need a fear of
the Lord again. I grew up in a small church and as kids we ain't even run on the pull pit cuz we had a fear of the Lord. Felt like if we ran on the pull pit something bad was going. We had a fear of the Lord. And I'm not saying fear God like be afraid. I'm talking about a reverence for God. There are certain things that I'm not watching. Certain conversations I don't want to be around. Like y'all can say whatever you want to, but I'm getting out of that conversation because I have a
fear of the Lord. We need a fear of the Lord. Somebody are you with me today? >> This year is different y'all. There's something different in the water right now. This year is different. All right. I believe we about to see the greatest harvest of souls that we've ever seen. The greatest end time harvest of souls. [applause] Aren't you glad that we're not just coming to church to have church? We are stewarding revival. Some of y'all have been praying for a move of God. I believe we're a part of one right now. If you believe
that, would you put praise right there? I believe we're a part of the move of God. [applause] But without holiness, no man's going to see the Lord. I want you to see the Lord in your business. I want you to see the Lord in your mindsets, in your relationships. But without holiness, without you being set apart from the world, you're not going to see the Lord. So, y'all know my style. I want to get super practical. Is that okay? >> And I want to talk to you about how do you live holy then? How practically,
how do you live set apart? How do you be in this world but not of it? And I got three practical keys to living holy. If you're ready, shout, I'm ready. I'm >> ready. Number one is you got to find faithful, fruitful, mature believers and follow them as they follow Christ. >> I'm going to say that one more again. >> Find faithful and fruitful. Not YouTube University cuz you can't judge their fruit or their faithfulness. >> Find faithful and fruitful mature believers. People that's been walking with Jesus 20 years. People that's been married for 20
years. People who been, you know, filled with the Holy Spirit 10 years. I'm talking about mature believers and follow them as they follow Christ. >> I want to share a scripture with you that I've stood on for 20 years and it's kept me safe as I've grown in my walk with God. If you're ready, shout them ready. >> Hebrews 6:12, please bring it up. Some of you all need this scripture more than you know. It says, "We don't want you to become lazy, but imitate those that through faith and patience inherit what's been promised." Y'all
catch the principle? Some of y'all don't see it yet. It says, "But to imitate," one translation says, "sfollow those that through faith and patience inherits what's been promised." So, the principle of this is that as believers, we should be following people as they're following Christ. Now, I know that you're supposed to follow God, but some people use that as a copout. They say, "Well, I'm just following God. I'm just following God." But if you don't have other people in your life that you're following, you're not really following God sir. >> Because there should be some
leadership in your life that is an example for you to follow God. So when it comes to hearing from God, number one, you have the Bible. Everybody say the Bible. >> Bible. >> Number two, you have the Holy Spirit. Everybody say the Holy Spirit. >> Holy Spirit. >> Those are your two most important areas of how you hear from God or receive direction from God. Go to the word yourself and have a relationship with the Holy Spirit yourself. But the third is also important and it's godly leadership. >> The Bible says that there is safety
and the multitude of counsel. The Bible says with advice make war. The Bible says that we are under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. And it says to imitate them that through faith and patience have inherited the promises. So let's break this down. What that means is that you should find other mature believers that have inherited the promises and you should imitate their faith, not their dress and their haircut. That gets weird. Imitate the principles that they live by. Their character, their integrity, the way they keep their word, the way they
love their spouse. They are dripping all over the place with principles. But you got to be spongy enough to be able to pick up what's in the atmosphere because a lot more is caught than it is taught. Some of you all are taking notes, but you don't have miracles. You're taking notes, but you don't have breakthrough. There's an impartation of the spirit of the house that if you're willing to receive it, it will come upon you to cause supernatural favor to come your way, supernatural wisdom to come your way. That's where you'll be a son
and daughter of the house that God's called you to. So, it does matter what church you go to. It doesn't matter what words you sit under. [applause] Are y'all with me today? [cheering] [applause] This scripture right here helps a whole lot when it comes to things that the Bible is not loud about. You're like, "Well, should I do this or should I do that?" What did the leaders do that God put in your life? >> You know, back in the day, I was a social drinker. I know I turned the corner real quickly. Um, and
I wasn't like a heavy drinker. I was more like a social drinker. Like, you know, go to the bar, play the Star, have a little, you know, I was only drunk like one time that I remember, but I would get really, really buzzed. And I know how to stop it right there. I'm just going to stop it. We going to chill. I'm good. Now, Tabitha, she was more of a drunk. She was more of an addict. This is just I'm telling y'all the true story. She the kind of person that would sneak alcohol. You wouldn't
even know she drinking. She the kind of person that'll go out, come back so just blasted like laying in my toilet in my bathroom, passed out. I'm trying to get her up. She's just completely done. Right. So, when we first came to church and um rededicated our life to the Lord, we're about four Sundays in. We decided to join the church. And the church we were attending outside of Washington DC, they had a new partners class. The new partners class was for every new person that came to church. if you want to get to know
the church, kind of like our growth track, but they did it on a Saturday morning from 9 to 12. And so, it was a three-hour class that you would go to to hear all about the church, how to get involved, and meet the pastors. So, we came to a new partners class. It's Saturday morning. It's all new people. The pastors there, we go through all three hours, and at the end of the class, they said, "Is anybody have any questions?" I'm brand new to everything. I lifted up my hand and I said, "Hey, pastor, you
know, I have a glass of wine every now and then. Is it okay if I keep on drinking? And do you know what he said? The first thing that he did, he cracked the joke. He says, "Well, if you have a glass of wine, you ain't going to hell." And everybody, all the new people started laughing. I like this church. Everybody laughing. All new people. All new people, right? Then he put his head down like this, like he was hearing from God. And it took like a It seemed like forever, but he then he looked
at me and I was in the third room. He looked at me right in my eyes. And this is what he said. He says, "I don't drink." And he says, "The reason that I don't drink is because Proverbs 31 says that kings and princes sustain from strong drink." And he says, "I look at myself as a king." It depends on how you look at yourself. [applause] [applause] What you say? What you say? So, I left out a new partner's class and I went to tell my drunk wife at home. I said, "Sweetheart, listen." I said,
"Listen, sweetheart. I don't want us to drink anymore. Do y'all know what Pastor Tabitha said?" She says, "How was that even possible?" She says, "What are we going to do for birthdays and ann" She said, "What are we going to do on New Year's Eve?" Now, we just filled up 5,000 people on New Year's Eve with no drugs or alcohol. She could not see THAT DAY. COME ON, SOMEBODY. SHE couldn't see that day, but she FOLLOWED ME AS I WAS FOLLOWING MY MAN OF GOD. AS MY MAN OF GOD WAS FOLLOWED with Christ. Hebrews 6:12.
Come on [applause] now. IT WASN'T DEEP. IT WASN'T DEEP. SOME OF YOU ARE LIKE, "SO TO ME IN THE BIBLE." NO, NO, NO. We are the Bible. We're living this thing out. We are living epistles. >> So sometimes it's not like, "Let's go to the Bible and debate with what it says. Where did God set you?" >> And if he set you in a place where holiness is the norm, where being sober is the norm, you don't have to fight against that. you can just follow them that through faith and patience. I just want to
help you get set free. >> Now, so drinking is not a sin. Getting drunk is a sin. >> But just because it's permissible, it doesn't mean that it's wise. The miracle within happens when you say, "Could this lead me away from Jesus or could it lead me to Jesus?" >> Your vaping ain't leading you to Jesus. Your bag of weed ain't leading you to Jesus. You popping a bottle ain't leading you to Jesus. But it could lead you away from Jesus. And because it could lead you away from Jesus, I would encourage you as a
person in this church to put some things on the altar. And if you say, "Pastor, I can't put that on the altar." I want you to know maybe it has you more than you have it. [applause] >> Just think about it. That's all I'M SAYING. [applause] 25 PEOPLE LOVE ME, 30 people hate me right now. I don't care. >> Just think about it. So, I've been sober for 24 years, >> and I'm having the time of my life. Come on. Anybody else sober? I'm having more joy, more peace, more fulfillment, and I ain't got a
hangover. [applause] Do what you want to do. It's your life. Number two. All right. Practical part of how to live holy. Write this down. You got to starve one and feed the other. >> Okay. Now, back in the day, I heard the story of a person, this is a fictitious story, had two dogs. Everybody say two dogs. >> And they were fighting dogs. Everybody say fighting dogs. >> Fighting dogs. >> Fictious story. Don't get mad at me. And this guy had fighting dogs. In one week, one dog would win, the other week the next dog
would win. The next week this dog would win, the next week this dog would win. And it went back and forth. Every time there was a fight, it would go back and forth between who was going to be the champion. Somebody who was watching the dog fight and came to the guy, the owner, and says, "How is it that you're able to get one dog to win one week and the other dog to win the next week?" He says, "The one I want to win, I feed it. And the one I want to lose, I
starve it." >> Now, you got two dogs in this fight. You got your spirit and you got your flesh. >> And if you want to walk with God, you got to feed your spirit and starve your flesh. >> See, Christianity ain't hard. You just got to be disciplined enough to feed the right stuff. You have an appetite and you are feeding your appetite something. You got to go home and feed your spirit and starve your flesh and feed your spirit and starve your flesh and feed your spirit and starve your flesh and [applause] feed your
See, the 21-day fast is about you feeding your spirit and starving your flesh. That's why your your body was tripping the first couple days. >> Some of y'all were gassy. I know you were. Some of y'all had a headache. Some of y'all were so cold you couldn't take it no longer, right? What's that? Your flesh is strong and you're disciplining your flesh. A lot of people, they don't feed their spirit and starve their flesh. They feed their flesh and starve their spirit. They feed their flesh. Netflix, Netflix, Netflix, social media, social media, they barely open
up the Bible. Can't even come to church. You ask them to come. Well, I might come. What you mean you might come? You need a miracle in your life. But they feed their flesh and they starve their spirit. Don't be that this year. You want to starve your spirit. I mean, feed your Y'all know it's wrong. Store. Come on. Feed your spirit and starve your sir. >> Number three. Y'all got time for one more. >> One more. One more. >> Three practical keys to live a holy life. This might be the most important one. Write
this down. You got to set your own parameters >> cuz parameters keep you safe. >> You know, most people don't fall into sin. You just you don't. They just don't have enough boundaries to protect their weaknesses. I'm not s I'm not like super anointed when it comes to sin. I've been living holy 24 years. You know, I know you guys don't want pastors who fall into sin cuz it hurts the church. It hurts you. So many people are disoriented right now because they put their trust in somebody who fell into sin. And the reason that
they fall into sin is because they just don't have the boundaries or parameters that's needed in a fallen, broken world. I know my flesh. I know what I like. so I don't put myself in compromising conversations and situations with the opposite sex. >> It's not that hard. It's just a parameter. >> You got to set your own parameters. Throw me that real quick. Let me show you something. All right. So, most people say, "Here's the line right here." Everybody say, "This is the line. This is the line. This is the line right here. And sin
is on this side of the line. You know where many believers are? Right here on edge. Pastor, I'm buzzed, but I'm not drunk yet. I'm smoking, but I ain't in hell. Pastor, >> I'm in her DMs, but I'm not flirting yet. Pastor, if we just blow you, you'll fall right into sin. >> Tell your neighbor, "Stop living on the edge of sin." Yes, sir. >> You know where you should be living. This is the parameter here. This is the parameter here. You know why I live my life? You know why you can trust your pastor.
You know why you can have confidence. It's not because I'm that anointed. It's not because I don't have a flesh. It's not because I don't have eyes. It's just that I got a parameter that I live over here. Sin is over here. [applause] I can drink, but it ain't for me. Come on, somebody. I can hang out, but it ain't for me. [cheering] I only watch PG-13 movies. I can I can watch AN R-RATED MOVIE, BUT IT AIN'T FOR ME CUZ I'M THE ONE THAT GOT TO GUARD MY SOUL AND MY HEART and my mind
and MY CALLING AND MY ANOINTING. YOU CAN'T GUARD IT FOR ME. HE CAN'T GUARD it for me. I got to set the guard myself. [applause] THIS IS WHAT IT means to live beyond reproach. COME ON. THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE YOUR GOOD, NOT EVIL, SPOKEN OF. [applause] SO WATCH THIS. Because I'm over here, if I mess up one day, look how far I am from sin. >> If you live right here, look how far you are from sin. SIN IS WAY OVER HERE. YOU GOT TO SET SOME PARAMETERS, Y'ALL. THEY'RE OVER HERE. And
so over here, so watch this. So the Bible is not a history book. It's not a book of laws. It's a book of redemption. And it is not loud about everything. It's not loud about gambling. It's a gray area. It's not loud about masturbation. It's a gray area. It's not loud about flirting with somebody that's not your spouse. It's a gray area. >> It's not even super loud about tithing. It's Matthew 23:23, Hebrews chapter 7. But I wish they bring it up some more so I could stop all this nonsense. But what I figured out
is this. If there's a gray area, I would always rather fall safe. >> So if there's a debate about tithing, I'm going to give 15 to 20%. So we ain't even got to I'm never going to give God two less more than two more. You know what I'm saying? If there's a debate about drinking, I don't need it. I'll drink apple juice and V8, baby. Come on, somebody. If there's any debate, do I GOT ANYBODY ELSE THAT CAN SET SOME PARAMETERS? Like some parameters? WHY YOU GOT TO BE OVER HERE DEBATING WITH ME online about
the Bible? Don't you know I've been for 24 years over here? [applause] >> [cheering] >> I'm sweating, right? I'm like, Lord, I'm trying. >> Do I got anybody here that needs a miracle within now? Listen, [applause] I need to lay in this plane and I'm going try not to crash the plane into the side of the mountain, [music] but I just feel like God wants to heal some people today. Listen, how many of you all are here [music] and codependency has been a big thing for you and you go to drugs and you go to
alcohol to get some level of relief? [music] Is that you? Just lift a hand up and say, "I want to be free." If that's you, anybody here? Okay. Here's my request. If you're here and [music] you're like, "Pastor, I want to be done with the codependency. I want to be done with going to substances [music] to get high or to get whole or to get joy or to go to sleep. I want to be set free. And I want new wine. I want the high of the Holy Ghost. And I want to be set free
today. And I want to [music] say no to some things to say yes to him. Could you just come down to the front? I want to pray for you. Just come right here all over the building. Don't be slow about it. Just run down. Just run down. Come on. Come on. Come [applause] on. One in the middle. One in the middle. One in the middle. Anybody else? Anybody ready to say no today? I got the Holy Ghost high. I don't need a heart that will make me lose my mind. I got new wine. Come on,
somebody. This blue wine don't cost YOU A HANGOVER. ALL RIGHT, [applause and music] those of you all who are here, I just want you to spend just a moment with Jesus and just bow your head and close your eyes cuz I want you just to I want [music] you just to renounce and just open up your mouth and just say, "Addiction, I renounce you. Substance [music] abuse, I renounce you. Alcohol and drugs, I renounce you. I [music] say no to you today. And I say yes to Jesus. Pastors, come up again to pray for these
people behind them. Just come up again to [music] pray for them. Pray for them. You all stretch your hands this way. Let me pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I declare whom the sun sets free [music] is free indeed. We declare breakthrough over every addiction. We curse [music] what's been cursing you. We declare from this day forward, you're set free by the power of Holy Spirit. We declare freedom over you right now. We break [music] every curse over your life. We declare the only thing you depend on from this day is God.
We declare there's a purity in your spirit right now [music] in the name of Jesus. We release the power of God over you in Jesus name. We declare that every temptation [music] of yesterday will be a joke on tomorrow. In the name of Jesus, I declare [music] that God takes the taste of whatever that's been out of your mouth and replaces it with holiness. From this day forward, we call you set apart. [music] In the name of Jesus, we declare that everything you need, you get from God from this day forward. Whom the sun sets
free is free [music] indeed. In the name of Jesus Christ, we declare liberty. Hit your spirit right now. 24 years from now, you'll be looking back to this day saying, [music] "I remember the day I said no to the enemy. I remember the day that I became separate, okay? In the name of Jesus, we release an anointing over you right now to be free and to be healed. [music] No more codependency. You just depend on the Holy Ghost from this day forward in Jesus name. In the name of Jesus, we release [music] the power of
God over your soul right now. We break every generational curse over you. We declare Satan must take his [music] hand off you and even off your children and future kids in Jesus name. For it all stops right now [music] in the name of Jesus. We declare freedom in the name of Jesus over you. We declare the power of God comes upon [music] you right now. The same boldness that was on the apostles in the book of Acts fall in your spirit right now to know how to say no to the wrong thing and yes to
the right thing. [music] We declare liberty and freedom right now. From this day forward, you'll be sober, [music] sober minded. You'll be drunk in the spirit. That's the only drunkenness that you'll have in Jesus name. We declare freedom and liberty over [music] you right now to be different. To be different. You won't care about what other people think about your holy walk. [music] You won't care about what other friends are doing. You're actually you'll be the difference maker. So we release holiness and power over your soul right now. We break every generational curse of substance
[music] abuse of codependency. And we declare that you be dependent upon Jesus from this day forward. We call you whole and heal right now in the [music] name of Jesus. Free right now. We release the spirit of liberty and freedom, [music] deliverance and freedom right now in the name of Jesus, man of God, come forth in Jesus' name. We declare that everything the enemy has been lying [music] to you about. You won't depend on anything more than Jesus from this day forward. We pray for you guys as well. [music] We pray for you guys. We
pray for him. We pray for him. [music] Father, in Jesus name, we declare freedom and power fall over this young man. We declare that he'll be a trailblazer from this day forward. And we break the [music] power of anything that's been holding him back and leading him into alive. We declare who the sun sets free is free indeed. Jesus name. [music] Thank you Lord for you. Thank you Lord that you're powerful. We give [music] you praise. We give you praise. We give you praise. We give you praise Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord. Thank
you Lord. [music] There's power. There is power [music] in the name [singing] Jesus. There is power in [music] the name Jesus. [music] There is power in [singing] the name of Jesus to break every chain. Break every chain. [music] Break every chain. To break every chain. Break every chain. Break every chain. There is power [music and singing] in the name of Jesus. Wonder working. There is power in the name [music] of Jesus. So much power. There is power [music] to break everything. [music] >> [music] >> Heat. Heat. [music] Jesus. [music] There is power in the name
of Jesus [music] to break every chain. Break every chain. [music] Break every chain. [singing] Hello. Hello. I want to pray for all of you guys. Those of you all who want to receive a spirit of holiness. [music] You know, one of the things that's really different about our church is that you really have and uh I don't know if I want to say that. [music] I I'll just say for me, I can't judge any other churches. That's not my job to do. But for this house, we love God for real. And we serve God for
real. And we're the same way in the pull pit as we are at home, integrity, and character. Come on, somebody. Holiness is important. And no man will see God without holiness. And so, if you want to see God, I want to release a spirit of holiness over your life. So, if you could put a couple hands to heaven. Father, in the name of Jesus, we release that anointing of holiness over this place. We declare in the name of Jesus that which was hard in the last season is easy in the next season. That temptation will
no longer be as [music] tempting because we're so on fire for you. So Lord, like fire shut up in their bones. Let's have [music] a church that don't just talk the talk, but walk the walk. Give him boldness and fire and passion to do it right now in [music] Jesus name. If you agree, put praise on it and give HIM PRAISE. COME ON. I SAID GIVE HIM PRAISE. [music] HEY. HEY. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. >> [music] >> OH, I guess we better go. [music] Every head bowed, every eye closed. Let me pray for you. If
you're here today and you're not sure that your name will be found in the [music] book of life as a child of God. If you've ever sinned in your life, you're in need of a savior. His name is Jesus. You don't have to be perfect [music] to be saved. But you do have to be humble. You have to be humble enough to admit that you've sinned and you're in need of a savior. [music] People, we could never be before God on our own strengths because he's holy and we're sinners. [music] But thank God for grace.
What Jesus did on the cross, he redeemed us from sin. And now we can go boldly into the throne of God. Not based upon [music] our works, but based upon Jesus. If you're here today and you're ready to make Jesus the Lord of your life, [music] you don't have to be perfect, but you do have to surrender. If you say, "Pastor, when you pray, pray with me. I want to be right with God. I want to be forgiven by God. I want to be saved. [music] I want to turn away from my sin. I want
to put my focus on Jesus." If that's you, let me pray for you on the count of three. If [music] you say, "Pastor, Ken, when you pray, include me in that prayer." Please lift up your hand. On the count of three, all over the building and online. One, [music] two, three. Boldly all over the building. Say, "Pastor, when you pray, [music] pray for me. I see your hand in your hand. Your hand and your hand your hand your hand your hand and your hand your hand and your hand. Your hand your hand. Your hand your
hand your hand. Your hand your hand. Hands are going [music] up all over the building and online. We believe it by faith." [applause] Watch this. And the Bible says that if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that the father raised Christ [music] from the dead on our behalf we would be saved. If you believe in Jesus I [music] want you to pray this prayer with me. Nobody prays alone. Say this. Jesus >> Jesus. >> Come on everybody join in. Say Jesus >> Jesus [music] >> I believe. >> I believe >> you
died on the cross. >> You died on the cross >> with me on your mind. >> Me on your mind. And on today on today, >> I come to you and I ask for forgiveness. [music] I turn away from my sin. >> I turn away from my s. >> I repent of my sin. >> I repent of my s. >> No longer what I want, >> but what you want for me, Jesus, [music] be the Lord of my life, the savior of my soul. From this day forward, I'm fully yoursy, >> fully devoted, >> fully
committed, and you're fully mine. for I am saved right here, right now in Jesus's name. >> [music]
