be silenced when Jesus passed by his expectant cry Jesus Son of David have mercy on me move the heart of our savior in Mark 10:52 we read then Jesus said to him go your way your faith has made you well and immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road bartmus his faith wasn't passive it was an active force that demanded immediate attention my friends when was the last time your prayers carried that same urgency and expectation to often we approach god with timid requests unsure if he's willing or able to move on
our behalf although we should also trust God's timing the Bible also shows us that God is fully willing and able to respond instantly when our faith aligns with his will understand that the God we serve is not a distant God unmoved by our pleas he is a loving father eagerly waiting for his children to approach him boldly in Hebrews 4: 15-6 we're reminded let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain Mercy mercy and find Grace to help in time of need this boldness isn't arrogance it's confidence in the character
and Promises of God when we pray with expectant Faith we're not trying to convince God to act instead we're aligning ourselves with his will and opening our hearts to receive His blessings God's Miracles are constantly flowing with power and purpose our expectant faith is the channel that directs that power into the dry places of Our Lives the stronger our faith the more of God's miraculous power we can receive in Matthew 8:10 Jesus marveled at the centurion's faith saying I have not found such great faith not even in Israel this Roman soldier understood Authority and believed
that Jesus is word alone was enough to heal his servant my dear friends do we approach god with that same level of trust and expectation or do we limit his power with our doubts and hesitations expect and Faith isn't about manipulating God or demanding our way it's about trusting in his goodness aligning our hearts with his purposes when we pray with expectation we're declaring our dependence on God and our confidence in his ability to move mountains in Mark 11 verses 22 to 24 Jesus teaches have faith in God for assuredly I say to you whoever
says to this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he says will be done he will have whatever he says therefore I say to you whatever things you ask when you pray believe that you receive them and you will have them this passage isn't about literal mountains moving it's about the power of faith-filled prayer to overcome seemingly overwhelming obstacles when we approach god with expectant Faith we're part ING with him and bringing his kingdom to Earth We're declaring that his will not
our limited understanding is supreme expectant Faith also requires patience and perseverance sometimes God's answer comes immediately like a bolt of lightning other times it unfolds gradually like the dawning of a new day but in both cases our role is to Main maintain our expectation and Trust in God's perfect timing in habac 2:3 we're encouraged for the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end it will speak and it will not lie though it terries wait for it because it will surely come it will not t my friends as we cultivate expectant faith
we create an atmosphere where Miracles can flourish we become living testimonies to God's power and goodness drawing others to his love so I challenge you today approach god with bold expectant Faith believe that he is not only able but willing to move on your behalf let your prayers be filled with confidence knowing that you serve a God who specializes in the impossible my dear friends as we dive deeper into expecting the miraculous we must understand the importance of aligning our prayers with God's will it's not enough to pray with expectation we must pray in harmony
with God's heart and purposes in first John 5:14 were told now this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us but how do we discern God's will in our prayers how can we be sure that what we're asking for aligns with his divine plan the key lies in developing an intimate relationship with our heavenly father as we draw closer to God we begin to understand his character his desires and his ways in Romans 12:2 Paul instructs us and do not be conformed to this
world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God this transformation occurs as we immerse ourselves in God's word and spend time in his presence as we do this our desires begin to align with his and our prayers become more powerful and effective consider the example of Queen Esther who faced a life ore situation for her people before approaching the king with her request she spent three days fasting and praying this time of preparation aligned her heart with God's Will and
gave her the courage to act in Esther 4: 16 we read her bold declaration go gather all the Jews who are present in shushan and fast for me neither eat nor drink for three days night or day My Maids and I will Fast likewise and so I will go to the King which is against the law and if I perish I perish Esther's concern wasn't just about her personal safety it was about the salvation of her people she aligned herself with God's greater purpose and as a result she witnessed a miraculous intervention my friends when
we pray for immediate divine intervention we must consider the bigger picture are our prayers focused solely on our comfort or do they reflect God's heart for his kingdom in Matthew 6:33 Jesus teaches us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you when we prioritize God's kingdom we open the door for his miraculous power to flow another crucial aspect of aligning our prayers with God's will is surrendering our own agendas sometimes we approach prayer with a predetermined outcome in mind trying to convince God to see
things our away but true alignment comes when we surrender our will to his just as Jesus did In The Garden of Gethsemane in Luke 22:42 Jesus prayed father if it is your will take this cup away from me nevertheless not my will but yours be done this surrender doesn't mean we stop asking for specific things rather it means we hold our requests with Open Hands trusting that God's plan is ultimately better than our own when we pray with this attitude of surrender we position ourselves to receive God's best even if it looks different from what
we initially imagined my dear friends aligning our prayers with God God's will also involves praying in faith for things that seem Impossible by human standards God Delights in doing the impossible and showing his power in situations that seem hopeless in Jeremiah 32: 27 God asks behold I am the Lord the God of All Flesh is there anything too hard for me when we pray in alignment with God's will we're not limited by what seems possible or reasonable we can boldly ask for healing for reconciliation for breakthrough knowing that our God Specializes in the miraculous as
we seek to align our prayers with God's will we must also be attentive to the holy spirit's guidance in Romans 8: 26 we're told likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered the Holy Spirit knows the mind of God and can guide us in praying according to his will as we cultivate sensitivity to his leading our prayers become more powerful and effective finally aligning our prayers with God's will means
praying with a heart of gratitude and praise when we approach god with Thanksgiving acknowledging his goodness and faithfulness we position ourselves to receive His blessings in Philippians 4:6 Paul instructs us be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God gratitude shifts our Focus from our problems to God's power from our lack to his abundance it reminds us of his past faithfulness and builds our faith for future Miracles my dear friends as we learn to align our prayers with God's will we become powerful conduits
for his miraculous intervention in our world we pray not just for our own needs but for his kingdom to come and his will to be done on Earth as it is in heaven my dear friends let's now focus on how we can cultivate a lifestyle of expectant faith that invites immediate divine intervention this isn't about occasional moments of Faith but a consistent walk with God that's marked by unwavering trust and bold expectations in Hebrews 11: one we're reminded that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen this Faith isn't
passive it's an active force that shapes our daily lives and fuels our prayers so how do we cultivate this kind kind of Faith first we must imerse ourselves in God's word Romans 10:7 tells us so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God the more we fill our minds and hearts with scripture the stronger our faith becomes make it a habit to read study and meditate on God's promises daily let his word be the lens through which you view every situation in your life secondly we must practice gratitude and praise even
before we see the answer to our prayers in first Thessalonians 5: 18 Paul exhorts Us in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you when we thank God in advance for his answers we demonstrate our trust in his faithfulness this attitude of gratitude creates an atmosphere where Miracles can flourish third we need to surround ourselves with people of Faith Proverbs 27:17 says as iron sharpens iron so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend when we fellowship with believers who are also expect expecting God's miraculous intervention our faith
is strengthened and encouraged seek out mentors who can guide you in your faith journey and friends who will stand with you in prayer fourth we must be willing to step out in faith and take God inspired risks James 2: 17 reminds us thus also Faith by itself if it does not have works is dead Faith isn't just about what we believe it's about how we live when God prompts you to act don't hesitate whether it's praying for a stranger's healing or reaching out to someone in need your obedience opens the door for God's power to
flow fifth we need to cultivate a heart of compassion and love for others in Galatians 5: six Paul writes for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything but Faith working through love our faith is most powerful when it's motivated by love as we pray for others with genuine compassion we partner with God's heart and invite his intervention in their lives six we must learn to wait on God with patience and perseverance Hebrews 6:12 encourages us to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises sometimes God's answers don't come immediately in these
times we must hold fast to our faith knowing that God's timing is perfect seventh we should celebrate and test testify about God's faithfulness in Revelation 12:1 we're told and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony when we share stories of God's miraculous interventions we not only glorify him but also build faith in others and ourselves eighth we must maintain an attitude of expectancy in every situation this expectant attitude should permeate every aspect of Our Lives not just our prayer times ninth we should practice fasting as a
way to heighten our spiritual sensitivity and dependence on God in Matthew 17: 211 Jesus teaches however this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting fasting helps us focus our hearts on God and strengthens our faith as we rely on him more fully 10th we must be willing to persevere in prayer even when answers seem delayed Luke 18:1 tells us then he spoke a parable to them that men always ought to pray and not lose heart persistent prayer demonstrates our unwavering faith in God's willingness and a ility to answer 11th we should cultivate
a spirit of worship in our daily lives in Acts 16: 2 we see Paul and Silas praying and singing hymns to God in prison right before a miraculous intervention worship shifts our Focus from our problems to God's power and presence and finally we must be willing to obey God's voice voice even when it doesn't make sense to our natural Minds in Hebrews 11:8 we read by faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance and he went out not knowing where he was going obedience
