well if you've probably got done much worse stuff than I have but I've led a very pure life so I think I think if you had plays about any modern comedians it would generally be three people sitting looking at their phones yeah which doesn't make for great dramatic tension bitching about the circuit always always always there's always someone doing better and they always person getting get getting Tor down um we're going to start this week's news I mean there's been a lot of trump zinsky Ukraine and Putin this week uh the tectonic plates of the
transatlantic Alliance have shifted as also vice president JD Vance used a security meeting to attack Europe and Donald Trump seemed to cozying up to Putin so I just want to know how is this like with Trump and Putin is it like the beginning of the film Greece you know when the Pink Ladies show up oh yeah and they say we're going to rule the school and they they're kind of looking forward to being the dominant figures are we getting Mean Girls Vibes you know gree I immediately think of the bad guy with the grease back
hair that's that's the horrible guy that nearly that loses the car race I can't believe you but no no no there's a real baddy one the one with he's got terrible you mean I know sorry I'm just bringing I'm just bringing on going that's so weird that you go for the pink because I think the Pink Ladies have an underlying goodness that they they so you wouldn't associate the Pink Ladies with Trump and and uh Putin no I think this is the end of the world I I I'm trying to be you quite chipper with
it well I'm just trying to think I you know we'll all go together won't we but um but I just I just think it's um I think it's it is hard to be funny about it because it is possibly in and probably incredibly terrifying and there is a way in which you journalists dealing with this going well he's bit it's a bit of a character isn't he and it's un it's the end of it's It's The End seemingly the end of a of an alliance that we've had all our lives and all our parents lives
and most of our grandparents lives um you know so I think it's it it is an extraordinary I mean I know I'm going to the extremes no no but I would I would say if Trump is as I'm suggesting if he does share some characteristics with a teenage girl it does mean that whoever he's falling out with this week they could be BFFs next week I well maybe but has that really happened before that people have come back from it she they have it JD Vance said he was once you know Marco Rubio is his
secretary of state isn't he and he's is he secret SEC he is Secretary of State for now yeah and he wants insult with the size of his hands oh yeah Rubio knows that he's a monster it it's so weird um I just I just fear I just see what he's doing to Canada and the rage in Canada he is so disrespectful of his allies making Canadians feel rage is an achievement in itself that that is that is that's quite impressive in a way one of the nicest countries in the world it's just i' I've just
got this Panic that basically our allies for the next big world war are France and Germany that's all we've got and Germany always lose don't they which is a they haven't got a great record in world wars but you know if it goes to penalties there's a chance no but um but um but I I just I don't know I think I've I've got so so I think in that way I'm I I do you not think it's quite watching people being funny about it because I see audiences live are very tense you bring it
up and people go cuz they're genuinely very scared you make a very good point so I thought what we should do is people have had a whole week of this let's throw forward uh K starma will be going to the White House very soon he's the guy he's the guy to to turn this around even as I'm saying it's very hard to say with any degree of conviction K starma it all hangs on K starma so what does he do when he eventually gets this meeting at the White House does he stand his ground and
win the respect of the British people or does he just keep complimented Donald te keep complimenting until he agrees to do something he drops that no it was going to be very rude then so he gets down on his knees and no but he prays but um with praise with praise with praise I would love him because I think we've got nothing to lose I think Trump doesn't care I think if he disrespects us I just think I think do be do a zalinsky do be I mean the thing is I don't think there's any
point in being nice to Trump or I think you just call out what he says I don't think he has to be unpleasant not the same level but he has to go well where obviously I I think he he could almost risk saying obviously I'm dealing with a president who's a liar I think it would been amazingly powerful thing I me it would be have you watched Love Actually recently is is that where the influence is coming from do you know I once said this thing is Jeff you probably know do you know lots of
cabinet ministers and ex- cabinet ministers I always think youve there's a few in the contact book I've once had a conversation at a party with a high level Tory cabinet minister when during Trump's first term I'm I'm very proud of this cuz he was basically a friend of a friend and he happened to be at a party and it was when Trump was visiting Britain and I said at that time countries are made do a Hugh Grant in Love Actually couldn't we could you not see how his ratings would go through the roof if he
did it and this Minister who was went on to have an incred went on to be very very high up like a top four job in the cabinet of the Tory cabinet said to me there is no way because we are so interl with the militarily intelligence wise but surely the exciting thing is this is the beginning of us may be disentangling ourselves we become we we make a stand but we become a lot poorer I mean it's a tricky sell to the people I mean I think you're right that the the their personal ratings
might go up I think our credit rating as a country might plunge it might be like you know My GCSE grad sort of efd I yeah did you really get bad gtss I I got mediocre gtsc smash smashed it at a levels believe it or not I did the reverse I did gcsc and then messed up my a level just absolutely founded it in yeah I just I just I got a really I got a Fant so this is too personal but I got a lovely girlfriend destroyed just didn't do any work just liveed for
the weekends and you obviously never had much interest in that way so well sorry in being intelligent or women you're a very attractive man buried over my life I mean so we look let's leave it though we're hoping that K sty will go over to America restore the Western Alliance and be return a hero somebody else that is sort of going to America whether indirectly is James Bond uh cuz this week have taken full creative control of the James Bond franchise prompting fans to worry about the character's future first up how how do you feel
about as as a Brit calling films franchises how does that make you feel I don't well I I don't what the very fact of calling a film a franchise I don't know am I meant to have a reaction to that I don't really understand well a franchise it's like calling a thing a series or a season I suppose so but but are they definitely going to are they going to be spin-offs are they going to be blow Feld to the childhood blow Feld or young blow Feld uh young Q I thought money Penney could have
her own show with Martin Lewis money Penney money Supermarket oh yes that would be good I mean the thing is he's will it mean they'll be spin-off merchandise stuff on Amazon you'll be able to get a watch that you can pull out a thing and garot someone or a pen that you can I don't know fires poison darts or something that would be good an Amazon drone that could deliver something and kill an enemy at the same time e
