Everybody thinks they've got the answer. Claude's the best tool. Chat GPT is Gemini or some cheap Chinese model that nobody's ever heard of.
And that's the thing. AI models change all the time. And to be in the forefront of AI, you need to know what the best one is right now.
And I get it. Testing the tools and keeping up with every single update is exhausting. And that's why I've spent dozens of hours testing every single one across all of my companies so that you don't have to.
So, in this video, I'm going to walk you through the best AI tools that I'm running in my life right now, what each one is actually good at, and how to get them to stack together for better results. And stick around because at the end of this video, I'll show you how to build a system that allows you to immediately leverage any AI tool and stay at the top of the game. So that way, when a better tool comes out, you can start using it ASAP with zero friction.
So, let's start with the first tool in the stack. And I hate to say it, but Chad GBT is back. Let's call out the elephant in the room.
Yes, I broke my hand. But before telling you, you tell me below in the comments what [music] you think happened, and I'll tell you at the end what actually happened. Chad GBT's newest model, Astro, isn't just a better chatbot.
It's taken things to a whole new level. Most AI tools right now sit on top of your computer. It's almost like an app.
GPT Astra runs your actual machine. It literally takes over the computer. It access files, apps, everything.
Before AI took you from whatever you're thinking to do some AI and then you had to copy and paste and you got to go into another tool. Now it just works and it works in the background while you're also working, which is a wild thing to watch. It's kind of like watching a ghost employee on your computer doing things around and clicking and copying and pasting stuff while you're still in there doing work.
And the cool part is you can actually use the phone app to talk to it to the computer to get it to do things from your phone. You're probably thinking to yourself, I already use Cloud Code and I already use codecs. Isn't it the same thing?
It's way different. Now, it acts just like a human and whatever you can do, it can do and it can do it better. And not through APIs and connectors.
So, some crazy things I did day one. I asked it to order some food off of Door Dash. It went and looked at my order history.
It knew what restaurant I like to order from. It ordered me my usual. My credit card was expired.
It went in, updated my credit card. Cuz I gave it access to it. It prompted me, but I said, "Yeah, approve.
Schedule it for noon that day. " And my food showed up. And all I said was, "Order me my usual from this restaurant on Door Dash.
" I couldn't believe it. And it did it in 7 minutes. The real work is in you thinking.
It's not clicking around between apps. It's so crazy because it's at the point where if somebody on the receiving end that works on your team doesn't use a tool like this, they can't keep up to the workload that you're able to produce. That's a real thing right now.
So, here's what you need to do. First, go download Chad GBT again. Maybe you deleted it cuz I was not a fan of it.
Go to your settings, then go to integrations, and make sure you toggle on any app, which is the computer use flag. So, that way it can use any app on your computer. Now, there's a pro tip.
click on show pet because it puts this little icon in a little voice prompt. So that way even if you're in Slack, you can still talk to it and it can do work. If you're in other apps, you just have access to it.
It's almost like Microsoft Paperclip, but it works. And if you know what I'm talking about, welcome, my friends. Next, we got to follow the maps framework, which is the same way we've been prompting AI forever.
The first part is the mission, the M. Tell it what you're trying to achieve. Second part is we got to ask.
Tell it what you want done. Very clear. Third is the P which is parameters.
Give it the files, the rules, and the limits. And then four is shape. Tell it exactly what you want back from it.
Tell it the work you want done and how you want to be notified. But it's crazy because in the past you would have had to do a file that you then copy and you put in another system. Now you can just tell it the full workflow and it'll just boom boom boom boom.
So for example, I want every receipt from the last month gathered and filed. open my receipts on my computer, read each one, rename the file to the date and the vendor, ignore any travel receipts, and add up the total and send it to my chief of staff through Slack, and it'll just work. I've got an events person, Rachel, who is so awesome.
She runs like eight bigger events for us, one person. She's went and met with all the top events people and their team of 12 and 25. And they go, "How do you do it with one person?
" And she just shows them her AI. She's using Chad GBT Astra. And this next tool I'm going to teach you about to get so much work done.
One of the top use cases that's going to make you money or save you money is asking it to go through your email of all your subscription notifications to figure out what you're paying for. Log into those accounts as you and then negotiate through the support chatbot a discount for anything you currently pay for. My friend Nick the other day told me it saved him $30,000 a month in his business.
The cool part is is while it's running, you can talk to it and shape it and change it and tell it to skip something or even stop. If you're still doing the task the AI could do, you're the bottleneck. And even worse, you're very close to being replaced.
So, make sure you're using this tool to get a lot done. Now, that was GPT Astra, and it's great for performing local tasks on your computer. But now, what if you need something that is like scientifically nerdy and very specific?
great at one specific thing. That's Grockbot. Think of it like GPT Astra is like the generalist.
Grockbot is the specialist, which is a group of virtual employees. It allows you to run a team of hyper specialized bots that collaborate, hand off, and talk to each other around whatever they're great at to accomplish full tasks. And the crazy part is is anything that you want to do like automation, schedule tasks, etc.
, you create using plain [music] English. You talk to it. You can say, "Just remind me at 8 a.
m. to check this Slack post, and if I don't get a notification, send me a reminder. " One of the biggest questions I get is, "Well, what makes it different?
" If you've ever had to get OpenClaw, Hermes, or any other agent platform installed, you have to have a computer science degree and you're probably going to get hacked. Grockbot is essentially the simplest agent platform ever created. It's almost like if Apple created AI agents, it would work like Grockbot.
The way you use it is the way you would just hire a new employee. And every employee and bot on Grockbot comes with a virtual and computer just like you would if you hired a person. You give them a computer.
Most AI feels great, but it doesn't do all of the work. It does like 90% of it. I'll tell you the first time you use it and you go and you ask it to do something and it goes 100% completion and it does it the way you would have done it and it does it in your voice and it feels absolutely awesome over time.
you're just going to start giving it more and [music] more. I've spent more time on Grockbot in the last two weeks than any other AI platform. I even had an all hands with my team and ask everybody, please install this over the next 24 hours.
It is now the platform of choice for agent orchestration for all of us to get virtual team members, full bandwidth, and just create the most crazy things without worrying about security and my laptop being on and all these other things that used to come with the other platforms. And guess what? Do you know who built it?
Elon Musk. X AI. The first people to test Grockbot was his own employees and his companies.
Do you think there's a reason why they're so freaking productive? Because they build tools like this for themselves. I've built everything like my salesbot overnight.
It identifies all sales related bottlenecks and throughputs and constraints across all my companies and consolidates it and gives me a highle overview and direct messages all the leaders to ask them if they are aware and what are they doing to resolve it. the finance bot. It literally lives in my mailbox, in my Slack, in my finance tools.
It grabs everything and it just does it. We're now at the point where small businesses, one person with Grockbot will build a full company. So, here's how Grockbot works.
Starts off by creating a new bot and give it a role. Most people are using kind of like a chief of staff role, so it coordinates the other bots. Or you can create an inbox manager if you want to do like a simple targeted thing.
I have a PR bot, a CIS admin bot, a revenue bot, probably at this point 37 different bots. And if you don't know which ones you should create, say, "Enter me, ask me the context of my life or look at my emails and look at my Slack post and tell me which bots you should create for me. " And it'll do that.
So, you just create a bot, give it a name, give it a role, and then give it any task exclusive to that role. You can even create a group chat of bots so they can share context with each other. And then you can even organize them by different categories.
The reason why they have this feature is because it allows you to think of the bots like people so that you have context for what you've asked them to do when you open up those chats. It works just like text message. And it is really neat to empower yourself and collaborate and have each one of those chats be a specific outcome you're trying to achieve.
And then you use it to just work on those kind of tasks. So, for example, I can say to my chief of staff agent, I want you to clear my inbox, categorize all my email, and draft up replies for the ones that need a response. Enter.
The chief of staff will then coordinate with my inbox agent, maybe my copywriting agent, maybe my contact agent that has access to everything that it needs to be able to write really meaningful and accurate replies. And it'll just manage your inbox. And the cool part is now I can say let's make sure we do this every morning at 8 a.
m. and give me a brief on what needs my attention. No cron jobs, Versell instances, API keys, scheduled task automation.
Is it on my computer or is it in the cloud? Who knows? All that stuff gone.
And here's a pro tip. You click that plus icon and select teach a task which opens up a computer and you do something on the computer in the browser. And then you hit stop and it will literally take that and teach the bot how to do the thing you just showed it to do on your computer.
Maybe you've heard of this. I wrote a whole book about it. It's called the camcorder method.
Recording yourself doing the thing and then giving it to somebody else. Now the somebody else is the Grockbot. It can literally go into any tool, any system, and help you identify where there's bottlenecks.
[music] If you want to get even nerdier, because every bot has its own computer, I created an agent swarm bot that essentially installed Grockbot under a different account. So that bot has access to Grockbot to create as many agents as it wants. I know this part gets scary for people.
They're like, Dan, what are you doing? I don't think I'm the first person to think about this and I don't think I'm going to be the reason that the singularity occurs, but I'm definitely pushing the edges of what's possible so that if it works, I'm going to teach it to you. So, that is a very advanced move, but it's pretty freaking cool if you think about it.
My bot has access to Grockbot. Maybe it installs Grockbot on one of its bots. How many layers deep will it go?
Who knows? All I know is that my credit card is probably going to get some big freaking charges. And look, it's already wildly powerful, but there's two features that when they add, it's going to change the game even more.
One is the ability to call and talk to people or take calls and answer questions that people have. Voice is a core feature they've said is coming in Rockbot. Two, having a bot added to a Slack channel with other people's bots or the ability for my bot to talk to your bot and coordinate around work.
Once that starts happening, the whole way work gets done shifts. And I'll be the first person to tell you. So, be sure you're subscribed here and go find me on Instagram and follow me there because that comes out in real time.
Now, this is just like the idea of having one bot doing one job, but I've got like 37 right now running all the time. And in my opinion, every business owner is going to need to be doing the same at some level of scale. So, if you want to learn how to integrate all of these AI systems into every department in your business, I've got you covered.
I've taught people how to use AI and specifically Grubbot in every single department in every kind of company. So, I put the whole thing together in a document, which tools to use, what to hand over first, and what you should keep human. I call it the AI company operating system.
And if you want it, just go find me on Instagram, follow me, comment AI business, and I'll send it over for free. So, now you got two very powerful tools that work in completely different ways. But the real hack is when you stop picking between them and start having them work together.
I don't even know how to say this other than what I do and I would encourage you to try is Chad GPT becomes your point of contact and it runs the bots for you. [music] So what I do is I use Chad GPT Astra and it runs on my computer and Grockbot is an app installed on my computer and I interact through it to talk to Grockbot to do work that run on their own machine so that I never feel constrained. I just talk work outputs and it coordinates with my Grock bots and it does work.
It's kind of like running a company that only works for you. And that's why I think every team [music] member in your company should have their own Grockbot account to do more work, to create more, to improve workflows, to never stop. You should have your own little army of people.
They should have their own little army of people. So now you have the power of having things on your local computer, things in virtual computers up in the cloud running 24/7. And if there's anything on your computer it needs to gather to then hand off to Grubbot, it'll do that.
You go to one person, you tell them what you need and then they figure out who handles it. It's like you with a chief of staff in your office. Then having a whole team of people out there and they're working.
Those are the Grock bots. Astro is your chief of staff. They sit right in your office.
They hear everything you say. You talk to it. You ask it to do work.
It might do some of the stuff, but it'll also hand off to the designer, to the copywriter, to the social media expert, to the office admin. I got too many bots. But that that's the thing is like I can't keep track of them all.
So at the end of the day, you just talk to JBT and you say, "Use Grockbot. It's an app on my computer. Coordinate with the bots in Grockbots to get work done and then report back if you have anything for me and it can run all of it without you.
" You can even go back. Remember I said you can use the phone app for Chad GBT. It's called remote access.
It's on the left pane [music] in the app. You click it, you connect your laptop to it, and boom, I'm talking to my phone and it's driving my laptop. I'm on the beach.
It's in the office. Okay, don't tell anybody. For example, I might say, "Hey, go create a financial report with the receipts we found earlier and open up Grockbot and feed it the receipts into my finance agent.
Then ask it to create a visual report of the last 30 days and send that to Jared on Slack. " It'll open up Grockbot, prompt the [music] agent, give it all the information it needs, tell it where the files are, hand it over to the finance agent, then Asher might take the report, or it might be done through Rockbot, but it'll send that DM on Slack to your CFO. Here's another example.
Somebody on my team wanted to connect HubSpot to Grockbot and it was asking for some configuration settings. So, he opened up GPT Astra and he said, "Go check out what Grockbot is asking me for and just go connect it. Make it happen.
Just figure it out. Enter. " So, it opened up Grockbot.
It looked what it was asking for in HubSpot. It had access to the password manager. It logged into HubSpot.
It found the setting. Grabbed the stuff. Hand it over to Grockbot.
Hit submit without lifting a finger. The whole thing was done. Now all of a sudden the person had it connected to the system it needed to get smart.
He didn't have to learn any technical terms or how to set up things or call somebody to get the setting. It just figured it out. There's no more switching apps, no more opening, no more closing windows.
You got to be the director, not the doer. I've been saying this for 3 years. Talker, not typing.
Hearts, not hands. Now, what's crazy is at this point we're already ahead of 99% of people using AI. like you're like in the 99.
9% range right now and you've got these two incredible powerful tools working together now instead of working separately. But what happens and in 3 months or 3 weeks or 3 days something better comes out? I mean everybody's giving me on Instagram cuz they're like hey what happened to Claude?
Why are you so hot and heavy about ChBT and hey why are you talking about this tool not that tool? I can't predict the future. I can just predict the process.
So what we need to do is figure out a way in our business for these tools to connect to the information so that they come out of the box lid on because that way you can switch tools and never lose any momentum. Cuz if you don't do this, essentially the AI starts and it's not very smart unless you do this. Picture this.
What if you could build a system that made it so that you're never stuck to a single AI tool ever again? That's what happened for me a year and a half ago. Every time a new AI tool came out, I was having the exact same challenge, connecting everything, creating the context, making sure all of my knowledge was copy and pasted in and migrating all of my preferences, my memories, and all this stuff.
Man, I used to do videos on it, teaching everybody how to migrate from this tool to the next tool. But I was like, there's got to be a better way. Why isn't there a memory system, a complete memory system, so the AI model can come in with its lights turned on?
Think about it. everything you've ever said, all the information about your clients, how you make decisions, the relationships in your life, who is Mark in your life, because you have 1,700 if I just search your email, but who is Mark? And what if I could keep it in one place?
And that way, every AI tool could reach it and be smart from day one. regardless if whether Claude or Grock or a new AI tool we've never even heard of comes out of nowhere's okay and it becomes the new one I don't want to have to replicate [music] this cuz that way then a new tool isn't just a new tool it's I get to use it without any dependence on it having all my information and this is why I teach because strategy is sequencing the right action in the right order if you do this right you grow that's why I coach people I want to teach people this is the sequence of the information to make AI work for you. So, we got to get that foundation done right first or the rest of it makes it really hard to switch.
So, what you need is called a second brain. You need all the context in your mind saved in one place for all the AIs to connect to it. Look, there's a bunch of tools that let you do different versions of this from storing data like Obsidian and Google Drve and Notion and all these other products.
And I've made whole videos on how to set up your AI second brain. You can build this yourself, but that takes time. It takes more money in tokens just to process all the information than the value it might give you.
And it's hard to maintain. It breaks. It confuses itself.
You might accidentally think it's making good decisions, but it doesn't have all the context because you didn't know how to build it right. None of the AI tools are incentivized to let you own your own data. They want to lock you in.
They want you to become dependent on their platform, which is why I built Apex. Apex. host.
It's one of my companies at Martell Ventures because it allows me to have that second brain centralized with all my stuff. I'm talking every meeting, every chat, every comment, every decision, every logic, every report, everything I do. It's my second brain.
I'm watching a YouTube video. I favorite it. It hooks in.
It grabs it. All my chats, all my AIs, all my systems, it grabs it. It brings in the context into the second brain.
And it's easy to use and extremely safe. And while GBTC cla Gemini keep surpassing each other for Frontier models, I can stay on top of it because I just connect my brain to each new one so that it can do work for me out of the box. I am tool agnostic, but because I use Apex, I don't have to worry about the switching cost.
And I want you to have that benefit as well. So that way when I recommend the next tool that is the new great one, you can just connect your Apex to it and then it just works. It takes like a person that doesn't know anything about me to immediately ramping up.
It's like Neo in the Matrix. And he's like, "I know kung fu. " Boom.
It just knows. So, if you want to check it out, just scan the QR code with your phone or click the link in the description. So, now you can use the best AI tools and switch whenever the new one comes out without losing all your contacts.
We own the brain and then we rent the models. Whoever's got the best model, I pay you for it. Brain, I own that.
This isn't about the tools, it's about how we use them. I call it the AI mindset. It's the mindset of deferring work to the AI.
I still see it amongst my team where people still decide to do work because they don't stop themselves to say like, "Oh, I don't have to do that. " You can have a NASA supercomput and still use it for basic math equation. And that's what people are doing.
People don't understand that when we start working and collaborating with the AI, it will solve the biggest problems in our business so that you can make more money, you can have more time back, and you can build a bigger life. So, we want to use these tools to build with intention. Don't just play around with the tools.
Actually make a commitment to learn them, to defer work to it, to actually get your time back. If you do that, you will crush it in this new world. And remember, if you want my AI company operating system and how I've mapped this whole thing and give it to you for each department, just find me on Instagram, follow me, and DM me the words AI business and I'll send it over to you for free.
And look, if you really want to build your own second AI brain from scratch, just click the link and watch how I do it or check out Apex. And I'm reading the comments right now. Did you put your vote in on how I broke my hand?
Because the answer is I punched a tree. I was biking with my kids and they built this drop and I hit the drop and then I lost it and I was going off my bike and I wanted to not hit the tree with my hand and I couldn't get my hand off my handlebar fast enough and the tree was coming like this and it went bang so I punched a tree. Doesn't matter because AI voice Astra Grockbot has got me way more productive.
