We greet all those who participate with us in this service, with the peace of the Lord Jesus. At this moment, I invite those who can to close their eyes. We will begin our service, invoking the power that is in the blood of Jesus.
Eternal God and Father, we cry out at this hour, for the power and life that is in the blood of Jesus Christ, our Savior. We ask for forgiveness for our sins. We ask God that through the blood of the Lamb We may be freed from all evil And that we may, O God, be in communion with the Lord our God Visit us through your Holy Spirit We pray in the name of Jesus Amen Let us now sing a praise to the Lord Glory to Jesus, praised be the name of the Lord.
At this moment, one of the pastors will offer an intercession to the Lord. Our God, we cry out by the blood of Jesus and plead at this moment for a blessing in favor of this service that is happening. We pray to the Lord that all Your purposes may be fulfilled.
May the spiritual gifts that are given, Lord God, be identified. May lives be reached for Your presence. We pray, Lord God, that in all things, only the name of the Lord may be glorified.
Bless, yes, this worship. Work wonders. Work among Your people.
We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. At this time, we will hear some spiritual gifts.
Spiritual gifts are the way God uses to speak to us, through the Holy Spirit. It is in the Bible, the Lord teaches us that whoever has ears should hear what the Holy Spirit says to the churches. And we believe that today the Lord continues to speak to us, through the Spirit and through spiritual gifts.
Therefore, at this time, the pastors will convey some spiritual gifts, which is a message from God for our lives. The Lord revealed a servant who is a doctor and, due to her work schedule, has not been attending services and is feeling spiritually weakened and has been going through a marital crisis. In this service, the Lord God will speak deeply to her heart through praise And in the laying on of hands, she will receive a blessing of spiritual renewal that will bring a blessing into her life and her husband's life.
The Lord showed a young woman who is studying medicine and at college she has been talking with a young man who is completely unbelieving. This friendship has taken away this young woman's faith and she no longer serves the Lord or goes to church. She is participating in this online service.
The Lord God reveals that she has received a great deliverance from death. In an accident that she suffered, with this revelation, the young woman will receive a blessing of contrition and will testify to her parents about this blessing received from the Lord. Glory to Jesus, praised be the name of the Lord.
And now we will sing to the Lord with joy, together with our children, a hymn of our children. Praised be the name of the Lord. Now we are going to hear some more spiritual gifts that the Lord has given regarding our lives that we are participating in this service.
The Lord revealed a couple who has been married for three years and have been going through difficult times in their relationship and have not spoken to each other for two weeks and are not attending church. In this prayer service, during the laying on of hands, they will receive a blessing of contrition and refreshment and will remember the wedding ceremony. And the Lord God reveals that their home was established by the Lord.
The Lord revealed a young man who is 25 years old and has strayed from the Lord's presence and abandoned his role in the work. and a great spiritual coldness fell upon his life and he has been attending online services, especially on Thursdays. He wants to return to the church, but feels ashamed.
But in this prayer service, he will be set free and will make a firm commitment to go to church, talk to his pastor and be reintegrated into the communion of the body. At this time, we will sing another hymn in glorification and praise to the name of the Lord our God. At this time, I invite everyone to read the word of the Lord that is in the book of Exodus, Exodus chapter 17.
We will read from verse 8 to verse number 15, Exodus 17. Starting from verse 8 it says, Then Amalek came and fought against Israel at Rephidim, so Moses said to Joshua, choose for us men and go out, fight against Amalek, tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill and the rod of God will be in my hand. And Joshua did as Moses told him, fighting against Amalek, but Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
And it happened that when Moses raised his hand, Israel prevailed, but when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. However, Moses' hands were heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him to sit on. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and the other on the other.
And so his hands remained steady until the sun set. And thus Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. Then the Lord said to Moses, write this as a memorial in a book and he reports to Joshua's ears that I will completely erase the memory of Amalek from under the heavens.
And Moses built an altar and called its name, The Lord is my banner. Until then, my brothers, the text we read tells us that at the time when the people had just come out of Egypt, not long ago, and they were now walking towards the land that God had promised them. And on this journey, the word says that when they were in Rephidim, they were camped there, they were attacked by the Amalekites, a people who historically were enemies of the people of Israel.
And in the face of this attack, Moses ordered Joshua to select men for battle, for the fight. And while Joshua was in the valley fighting against the Amalekites, Moses, Ur and Aaron would be at the summit, on the mountain, on the hill and the rod of God would be with him. And the word tells us that while Moses was on the mountain and he raised his hands to heaven with the rod of God in his hand the people of Israel prevailed in battle.
But imagine the brothers keeping their hands raised all the time during a long battle, a prolonged battle with the rod of God in his hand, Moses grew tired and at one point he lowered his hands. And when Moses lowered his hands, now it was the enemy who prevailed. When he raised his hands to heaven and the rod of God was in his hand, Israel prevailed.
But when he grew tired and lowered his hands, the enemy prevailed. And how to resolve this? How to allow Moses to keep his arms, his hands raised to the sky all the time, without getting tired, thus allowing the people to achieve victory?
the word tells us that Hur and Aaron took a stone and placed it so that Moses could sit on it and one on each side, Aaron on one side, Hur on the other, they held Moses' hands so that he would not grow tired and lower his hands one on one side and another on the other held his hands firmly towards the sky with the rod of God in his hand and thus they remained until sunset And in this way, the Lord gave victory against the Amalekites. And at the end of this battle, at the end of this moment of victory, the word tells us that Moses built an altar to the Lord. And he called the name of that altar.
The Lord is my banner. And my brothers, this text that we read teaches us that the secret, The key to achieving victory in the face of the battles and struggles that we face in our lives. The secret lies in our prayer life with God.
Just as Moses needed to keep his hands steady, raised to heaven, as a gesture of supplication, the raised hands were a gesture of appeal, a request for help. The Bible teaches us that our prayer life should also be like this. Our prayer life must be firm, constant, and persevering.
The Bible teaches us that we must pray without ceasing, as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5. The Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6 that our prayer should be at all times. The Bible teaches us in Luke 18 that our prayer should be without weakening and without losing heart.
because only then, only through a life of prayer that we will achieve victory in the face of the battles and struggles that surround us in our daily life to be with hands raised represents prayer lowering the hands points to the moment when we neglect our spiritual life lower our hands points to the moment when we become careless we get distracted we stop praying the moment when we give an opening, the moment when we lower our guard. And when that happens, when we lower our guard, when we stop praying, when we become careless in our spiritual life, what happens? What is the result of this?
The result is that the enemy prevails. We can remember the parable of the wheat and the tares. The parable tells of a father who sowed good seed in the field, but at a certain moment an enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat.
When did this happen? When did the enemy sow the tares among the wheat? The word is clear.
The enemy sowed the tares, that which was poison, that which was not useful. It was when the men were asleep. And, my brothers, unfortunately today, many are the same.
Many are, they find themselves spiritually asleep. Many find themselves without a life of prayer. Oblivious and indifferent to the prophetic moment we are living in.
And the adversary has used this. The adversary has used this spiritual complacency as a fertile field. For what?
To sow the tares. To sow discord. To sow lies.
To sow false teachings in minds and hearts. But, my brothers, how? How not to let this happen?
How not to let the enemy prevail? How to have a life of constant prayer? A life of persistent, steadfast prayer, without getting tired and without becoming discouraged?
The word we read teaches us some things, gives us some lessons, offers some tips on how we can have a steadfast and constant prayer life before God. The first lesson we read in the word is that God's staff must be in our hands. The staff of God is a symbol of the Lord's authority and represents the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Holding God's staff in our hands points to, represents what the Bible calls praying in the Spirit. But what does it mean to pray in the Spirit? Praying in the Spirit is praying by allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us in prayer.
Praying in the Spirit means allowing the Holy Spirit to intercede for us. Praying in the Spirit is allowing the Holy Spirit, as we pray, to shape our lives, to speak with us. Praying in the Spirit means praying aligned with heaven, allowing the Holy Spirit to help us pray according to God's will and not ours that is praying in the Spirit, that is having the staff of God in our hand that is extremely important for us another lesson the text gives us is that alone we will not manage the text tells us that Moses only managed to keep his hands raised to heaven because he had the help of Hur and Aaron and my brothers, this shows us that prayer is more effective when it is in the body, when prayer is in communion when we have brothers by our side to share our burdens and help us in prayer and we want to leave a message for those who are participating in this service with us if you are not congregating, look, seek a church near your home it is necessary for us to be praying at this time, but in the body in fellowship, it is necessary for you to be integrated into the body of Christ because in the body of Christ you will receive help because in the body of Christ you will be strengthened because in the body of Christ together we will achieve the victories that God has reserved for us my brothers, another lesson that the word gives us is that we need a place of rest Aaron and Hur, seeing that the battle was prolonged it was extending And seeing that Moses was frail, he was getting tired, the word tells us that they provided a stone so that Moses could sit on it.
My beloved, this stone of rest, this stone that sustains our lives, this stone points to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our solid rock. Jesus Christ is our rest.
Jesus Christ is the one who brings relief to those who are weary and burdened because of the burdens and weights of this life when we pray, we rest when we pray, we rest knowing that our Lord is in control of the situation when we pray, we rest because we know that our prayer, our supplication, our cry is in the hands of an Almighty God is in the hands of a sovereign God That is why, in prayer, we rest, because we trust, we surrender our lives on the altar of our God. And the word ends by saying that, in the end, when the people were victorious, Moses erected an altar and called the name of that altar. The Lord is my banner.
My brothers, the banner is a symbol of victory and conquest. The altar erected by Moses was an altar of gratitude and recognition. Moses knew that the victory did not come because the army of Israel was very numerous.
The victory did not come because Moses and Joshua were very qualified leaders. The victory did not come because they had better war strategies. The victory came because the Lord fought for them.
My brothers, the Lord is our banner. The Lord is over our life The Lord is the one who goes before us in our battles The Lord is the one who gives us victory Therefore, all honor and praise to the name of the Lord our God The Lord is our banner May the Lord bless us Let us now sing another hymn of praise to our God Glory to Jesus, praise be to the Lord, for another service where the Lord spoke to our hearts. At this moment we will pray, ending this moment, this service, we will close our eyes and we will pray to the Lord, our God.
Eternal Father, we glorify and bless you, Because in the midst of the battles and struggles we face, we know that we are not alone, but we have a God who fights for us. And through a life of prayer, when we place our confidence in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we have seen heaven opening up for us. We have seen the Lord pour out His blessings.
We have received answers The promises of the Lord have been fulfilled in our lives Therefore, all praise to the name of the Lord, our God And in your name we declare that the wonderful grace Of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ The love of God, our eternal Father The communion and consolation of the Holy Spirit And be upon the church of the Lord We pray in the name of Jesus, amen My brothers, our worship has come to an end Some information will appear on our screen for the guidance of the brothers First, a service QR Code for those who are abroad This QR Code will be projected on our screen So our brothers who reside abroad and need to contact us Use this QR Code And in the sequence, a QR Code will also be projected for sending the participation Sending the experience, better said So, if you had any experience with the Lord, if the Lord spoke with you, if you feel the desire to share this with us, read the QR Code on our screen and share your experience with us, because the name of the Lord has been glorified. Thus we wish everyone the peace of the Lord Jesus.
