Welcome to another video on the channel! I'm Rafa, I'm Zolla and today we're in one of the seven wonders of nature again! And in this video, in addition to showing the Iguaçu Falls, we are going to give you a five-day itinerary of everything you can do in this paradise that is Foz do Iguaçu.
Some basic information on prices for you: this time we paid R$78 for the ticket and we also paid R$180 for the transfer for five people, both on the outward and return journey. Uber would probably be a little cheaper, but we were thinking about the peak time for the return, so it would probably be a higher price, it would probably take longer to arrive, so we said: let's take the transfer, and it's private too, and that's very good, because we are the ones who will choose the time we leave, so this is a very positive point. Here there is also the Macuco Safari, which is a boat trip that you take there in the middle of the Falls, but this is a separate price, it costs R$362.
My mother-in-law, Zolla's mother, did it, and she loved it, in June of this year, so here's the tip: if you like this type of tour, it's definitely worth it! Starting from day 1 and on that day 1 you need to be ready in the morning, so if your flight arrives in the afternoon consider it as your day 2, or if you arrive here by car in the afternoon too. So, starting your day, have breakfast at the hotel we recommend, so stay until the end of the video to see which hotels we recommend here in Foz!
And then you will start your tour at Parque das Aves, which is one of the most incredible places we have ever visited in our lives! You have to know! And throughout this video, we'll leave an image of all the tours we took because Foz has an infinity of sensational places for you to discover, and Parque das Aves is certainly a mandatory stop!
Afterwards, you can have lunch both at Parque das Aves and at the second stop, which is nothing less than the Falls on the Brazilian side, because they are opposite, so you can have lunch both there and here, because there are gastronomic options here, as a very good restaurant, which is where we had lunch called Porto Canoas. It's more expensive, but it's an all-you-can-eat buffet with a lot of food, and it's logical to visit the Falls on the Brazilian side, which is open until four or so in the afternoon, so that whole day is set aside for Parque das Aves and for the Brazil Side Falls. [Music] [Music] After our hydration break and a R$13 ice cream, just look!
It's worth it with this big sun here, okay? So it was super worth it. Let's go to the comments.
Rafa was talking about the 1st day of the script and look guys, cool! First, you start your day there at Parque das Aves, at most, kicking high, you 'll spend 3 hours, so it's great for you to do in the morning and then you come here. Look, a super cool tip we made.
As soon as we left Parque das Aves and came here to the Falls, which is right in front, we went to the end with the bus and had lunch right away, because man, this tip is golden. You take the tour completely against the flow, especially if you come with a guide and lunch time is already stipulated, and everyone starts the trail and ends the trail at the mouth, where everyone has lunch, right, so if you go to the end with the bus that is already there, after you pass by the entrance, you take the bus to go to the trail and the terminal, you stay there, have lunch, then take the bus back and start your trail. True, the bus is free, it's already included in the ticket price, okay?
Again, not Macuco Safari, this is an individual price, but this round trip is already included. So man, this tip is really good and also this whole walk, this trail of approximately 1. 5 km, you can easily do it there after lunch, okay?
So don't worry about this part 1 itinerary, there's plenty of time and it's super nice for you to enjoy your day. And this tip that Zolla said we didn't follow this time. We wanted to do the test, you know, and we're getting clogged, it's very full.
Of course it's very high season, but the other time, as we came more in the afternoon, it was much more empty, because everyone was there in the restaurant in the waiting line and we were coming here. So it's really worth it! And then you take the tour after eating well.
Our Lady, we ate very well enjoying this wonderful view. Just look! Ah, you could also have breakfast at Parque das Aves.
If your hotel doesn't have breakfast, it's already an option, because there are restaurants there, right? That place is paradise, people. You have to know!
And starting your day two of the Foz do Iguaçu itinerary, it's time to get to know two different countries in one day. We thought this was super cool, because basically 1 day, 3 countries! Brazil, where we are staying and most likely you will be too, shopping in Paraguay in the morning.
We even have a video on the channel about it and I'm already advancing that it's worth it for many things. Pay attention to the limit you can spend there not to be taxed. There are these taxes, so a lot of attention, but we loved it.
There are many things we bought! And at night the Tour of Puerto Iguazú, then at the end of the day we pass by a fair, passes by the Duty Free and ends in a restaurant. We went to El Quincho del Tio Querido, which was super cool.
We loved the experience. There's classical Argentine music, there's Tango, so they danced Tango live there, performing this super classic dance. And the food was very tasty, the meat, right, love?
Delicious, so this whole day was super worth it to get to know two different countries. It's time for the City tour! On the 3rd, you will visit Foz do Iguaçu in addition to the Falls on a tour of some of the city's tourist attractions, such as the Mosque of Foz do Iguaçu and the Kapadokya store, which sells articles of Arab culture and is right in front.
In both you will learn more about this culture so present in the city. Soon after, you can visit the Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Cathedral, which has been under construction for over 10 years and we also visit the Buddhist Temple, which is a super cool tour for you to learn more about Buddhism and appreciate the more than 120 works. Detail, the Buddha that is right at the entrance has a necklace with 108 balls and there are 108 statues that represent enlightenment, gratitude, that you are welcome in space and also symbolizes positive energy.
We also went through what they consider to be one of the most beautiful streets in Brazil and we took a break for lunch at the Barracão restaurant, so stay here until the end of this video to see our tips on where to eat in Foz do Iguaçu. Finally, we passed the first airport in the city and then the former Hotel Cassino, the first five-star hotel in Foz. All entrances are free and if you don't have a car, it's really worth taking the City Tour, as it saves time and money on transportation.
At night you will visit one of the liveliest attractions in Foz, the Marco das Três Fronteiras on the Brazil side! Another mandatory stop in the city. We highly recommend that you take the tour at the end of the day to enjoy the sunset and the shows that represent the three countries: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
Tickets cost R$48 and they don't open on Monday. And starting your 4th here in Foz do Iguaçu we will go to one more of the Wonders of the World, only in this case of the modern world. I'm talking about the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant, which is the largest hydroelectric plant in the world in terms of clean and renewable energy, and guys, what a phenomenal ride!
It was something very nice to know. It's super worth it and there are several tours, okay? You get to choose.
The first one you'll take a transport, you'll go through everything and the other one you'll get to know the entire internal part, the entire internal structure of the hydroelectric plant, which is also a lot of fun, okay? And then in the afternoon we will go to the Kattamaram tour, and so, at the end of the afternoon you will take the Kattamaram, which is a type of boat and there you can also have dinner watching the sunset. Man, it was one of the best tours we've done here and we were really surprised.
It totally exceeded our expectations, so look, ending the day there in Kattamaram, wonderful! Surely you can already hear the sound of water much louder, that's because we're getting to Garganta do Diabo, people. It's the biggest waterfall here in the complex, right, in the Iguaçu Falls National Park, with a drop of more than 80 m, and it's one of the 275 waterfalls here.
It's impressive, and speaking of waterfalls, we have what you'll do on the 5th, which for us is a mandatory stop when you come to Foz, which is to get to know the Argentinean side of the Falls. The tour to the Iguazu Falls on the Argentinean side is an immersive experience in nature and incredible too. About 80% of the waterfalls are in Argentina, so the day will be long and unforgettable.
So put on some comfortable clothes and get ready because living and seeing one of the Seven Wonders of Nature up close is thrilling. Tickets start at 4,675 Argentinian pesos or approximately R$128. 50 and are well worth it.
And now speaking of restaurants, Foz do Iguaçu does not disappoint. Starting with 4 Sorelle, an Italian restaurant that serves a delicious all-you-can-eat dinner with a super nice atmosphere and live music. Without a doubt, it was one of our favorite restaurants in the city.
At the time, we paid R$99 per person for the most complete rodizio, which also includes several types of desserts. Porto Canoas at Iguaçu Falls, which we already mentioned in this video, is an unmissable and unforgettable gastronomic experience, so it's really worth it. And when you visit Marco das Três Fronteiras you will see that they have options for quick snacks such as Choripan or a full dinner at the Cabeza de Vaca restaurant.
Dinner at Kattamaram is another meal you can have if you choose to take the R$240 tour and the food is all you can eat. An option for a snack and a drink is 277 Craft Beer, a very tasty craft brewery at a fair price. Everything we ordered was very tasty, so we recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the night in Foz.
And following the Craft Beer line, we also went to the Capitão Bar and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially to watch football matches. We ordered the hamburger and our friends ordered a very tasty board too. Now, a place we had lunch and really liked was Barracão.
We went during the week and lunch cost an all-you-can-eat R$34. 90, including dessert and a few alcoholic drinks. In addition to the delicious food, the atmosphere is super relaxed and even has space for games and a children's area, so it's very good for the kids.
We hope you enjoyed this different route format, we wanted to show you everything we did in Foz do Iguaçu and there are still several other tourist attractions around here, because that's what we say, right love? Foz is growing too much. That's it folks, the structure Foz is getting right, they are investing heavily in tourism, building several new highways, a new bridge to Paraguay, so man, if it was already a tourist destination, the tendency is to increase even more.
Exactly! Now leave your like on this video, because here comes the final tip! Where to stay in Foz do Iguacu?
We have two options for hotels that we can indicate because we have already stayed there. And the first of them is the Tarobá Hotel, which is without a doubt the best value for money hotel we've ever seen like this, in several places in the world, see? People, the structure they have is really good.
The breakfast is sensational, the rooms are very good, the central area is right, so you can do things, even visit a lot of restaurants spending a little there with Uber or transport. And the other option is for those who want to enjoy their holidays in style, which is Recanto Cataratas, which is where we are staying this time, which is a gigantic resort, a complex, right? Divided there between, so it's a hell of a structure, dividing it into two complexes , you know, two completely different classes with a complete structure.
Both wings. There are two places to have breakfast so you can get a sense of the grandeur. More than three restaurants inside, but I don't know there's a lot.
We arrived a little while ago, so there are things that we are going to discover together with you, right? So subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any content here in Foz and all over Brazil! So, we show you tours, we show you where to eat, where to stay, so in this complete itinerary you are super advised, but if you want something even more personalized, we make personalized itineraries, because we have a travel agency, so if you want to arrange your airfare, your accommodation, travel insurance which is very important, we will help you in everything so that your trip is as perfect as ours was and is also being.
And Foz is a destination, folks, worth repeating. We are repeating it twice in the same year and it seems like it's always the first time. So here's the tip too much and we hope you enjoyed this video and we see you all over the world!
A kiss and goodbye!
