Use my code to grab a 7-day free trial. So, first, we got the most basic part of the system, the safe zone from plus zero to plus 10. The only two things you always need to enhance your gear are Kinah and enhancement stones.
Both of these are regularly rewarded by completing in-game content. Enhancing your gear from plus all the way to plus 10 has a 100% success rate. Meaning every single tap in this bracket is guaranteed to succeed.
Going from plus zero to plus one cost 335 enhancement stones and 8,380 kinah. As you climb up, the cost scale proportionally. Plus one to plus two is 480 stones and 12,000 kinah scaling all the way up to plus nine to plus 10, which requires 5,300 enhancement stones and 133,000 kinah.
My advice, push your primary gear to plus 10 as soon as possible because it's completely safe and gives you a massive baseline stats for very cheap. Now, let's move on to the risk ladder. From plus 10 to plus 15, once you hit plus 11, the real grind begins.
And your success rate starts dropping heavily. Plus 10 to plus 11 gives you a 66% success rate, costing 6,120 stones and 236,000 kinah per tap. Plus 11 to plus 12 drops to a 50% success rate, requiring 6.
9k stones and 350,000 kinah. Plus 12 to plus 13 goes down to 35%. You see where we're going here?
It gets lower and the cost keeps going up. And finally, the brutal plus 14 to plus 15 gives you a mere 20% success rate, costing over 9,000 enhancement stones and a massive 1. 2 million kinah per tap.
And when I say per tap, it's just an attempt. It's not guaranteed to get you that tap, right? You press the button and you gamble.
Statistically, hitting that final plus 15 requires roughly five taps on average, meaning you're looking at over 6 million kinah and nearly 50,000 stones just for that last if you're unlucky. Now, let's talk about what happens when you fail or change gear. Thankfully, the enhancement mechanic allows you to fail an enhancement without losing the item itself.
And if you find better gear later on, Aion 2 also refunds all of your spent enhancement stones when you extract a piece of gear that has been previously enhanced. But, keep in mind you will not receive a refund for the kinah, mana stones, or theo stones. So, choose your gear upgrades wisely.
But, there's also another method to transfer your current gear to another gear where in it will transfer your enhancement to another item, meaning including the traits except for theo stones, mana stones, and your philosopher's stone trait, you will be able to transfer 100% of your enhancement and your existing traits to another weapon, whether it's unique to heroic or unique to unique. However, it's going to cost you some certain kind of materials. If you're still here, congratulations.
You finally reached the end game break two tier. This where we talk about star levels from plus one to plus five amplification, which introduces a brand new material, amplification stones. We call them amp stones.
At plus one star, you get a 66% success rate costing six amp stones and 600,000 kinah per tap. At plus two star, it's a 50% success rate for nine amp stones and 900,000 kinah. At plus three star, it drops to 33% success rate, requiring 12 amp stones and 1.
4 million kinah. And plus four star, you're looking at 25% success rate for 15 amp stones and 2 million kinah per tap. And for the ultimate max out at plus five star, you get a brutal 20% success rate requiring 20 amp stones and a staggering 3 million kinah per tap.
That's That's insane. On average, hitting that five star breakthrough will cost you around 15 million kinah for just that single rank. Now, keep in mind the reference item being used in this video is merely a Deacones glove, which is a unique item.
And the kinah cost and the enhancement stone cost varies from item slot to rarity. Meaning, heroic gears are going to cost way more and will have, yes, less success rate upon upgrading. But, the formula is pretty much the same.
One last thing you need to keep in mind, especially for PvP gear sets like the Deacones tier one gloves, remember that PvP gear upgrades only improve your PvP stats through the potential system. So, you're probably wondering, "Can I increase this PvP damage tolerance on my PvP piece of gear? " The answer is, yes, and that is through the potential enhancement system, which I will talk about shortly.
So, make sure you're building according to what content you actually want to focus on. Just as I was talking about how you can enhance the potential of your PvP gear even further. We also have PvE gear potential enhancement.
Now, once you secured your core gear and you're diving deep into the end game dungeon loops, there is another layer of progression you guys need to know about. The potential enhancement system. Accessible through your unified enhancement and growth menu.
This system allows you to infuse extra base line power specifically into dungeon dropped equipment. Do note, this is very important, that you understand that potential enhancement only works on dungeon gear. It does not work on crafted PvE gear.
You cannot enhance the potential of PvE crafted gear as they already have these modifiers such as PvE damage boost or tolerance modifiers. But as for PvP gear, it's different. You actually can.
And in regards to the PvP gear, you can actually potential your PvP earrings, accessories, your armor, your guard, and your weapon. As for the earrings, you can the accessories in general, the rings, earrings, you can pretty much potential them to have 2% PvP damage boost. And as for the armor, yes, you can potential the PvP armor as well and you can get up to 2% PvP damage tolerance per piece.
With the exception of the guard. The guard, you can actually get 10% PvP damage boost, which is a massive gain. And one of the example of that is if we inspect one of the top players, we can check his gear and you can see that his equipment is indeed enhanced with potential, making him much stronger in PvP in terms of PvP stats.
Another important note is that when you get into the potential system for dungeon PvE gear, it is important to understand that you can only put enough potential to the point where you can reach only half the stats of best in slot PvE gears. It will not be better than actual best in slot PvE crafted gears. So, if you're hitting a wall in high-tier dungeons and want to squeeze out every drop of efficiency against bosses, mastering substance morphing for your dungeon drops is how you bridge that final gap.
And as basic as that sounds, that's pretty much it for gear enhancement, amplification, gear potential enhancement in Aion 2. If you find this guide has helped you a lot, please drop a follow. Hit that subscribe button and see you on the next video.
