Gifts are ways humans share to express their appreciation or celebrate their fellow man or offer them to Revere God In Worship giving gifts to God or someone shows how much you appreciate that person or that God and you've decided to translate it into gifts the quality of gifts you give to someone reflects the quality of the person or God you think the recipient is Many times in our lifetime we receive a lot of gifts from different people who give them to us at different times in our lives our parents bought us gifts when we were

growing up to Mark our birthdays and their anniversaries and generally whenever you did good my parents will reward you with a gift but do not be deceived not every gift comes from a place of Celebration or the place of appreciation So many people have received gifts today that have led to the end of something in them or many times mean their very end a man who got a parcel in his office in a brown envelope addressed to his very good friend was in such a rush to open it alas when he did he never got

the chance to examine the gift because immediately he opened the envelope the gift went off killing him and any other one in the blast radius heed the warning that God is saying to You today not all gifts are meant for you to accept the heart of man is desperately wicked and the Bible asks who can understand the thoughts that go on therein the only gift that stands sure whenever it appears for you is from God consider what the Bible says in the Book of James chapter 1 verse 17. every good and perfect gift is from

above Coming down from the father of the Heavenly lights who does not change like shifting Shadows the gift of God is perfect with no hidden agenda God dwells in light and so everything he does is in light the heart of God towards you commands his presence in your direction and that presence carries his protection but not humans the heart of man is always engaged in a battle between evil And good for no apparent reason humans have turned on their own Brothers over the centuries and delivered wickedness and strife amongst themselves and for no reason they

will not mind sharing a gift with you that will spell your doom if the gift is not from God be guided because the heart of man is a wicked place and devises wickedness constantly am I telling you not to receive gifts from people around you or not to trust People in and around your circle not at all but God is telling you that not every gift is acceptable and you do not receive gifts from everybody you put your life at very dangerous risks when everyone has the right to enter your life and deposit whatever they

bring many great things have come to abrupt ends because the people who started them took a gift that ended everything While God is looking to take you up the devil will use anybody and everything that makes itself available to try to pull and put you down why then do you need to interrogate gifts that enter your life from man the heart of man is wicked we have already said either how only God has the perfect plan for you and how his gifts are Everlasting you can gauge the heart of God in a place of communion

with him and he tells You what he has in his mind but you can have all of the discussions you want with your fellow man and for the weeks months or even years that you spend with him the man is busy looking for the perfect Avenues to bring you down no man knows what goes on in the heart of man from the early days of creation God already saw how Wicked the ways of men are As early as Genesis which happens to be the first book and contains creation itself God realized the heart of his

creation was evil Genesis 6 5 says the Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on Earth and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only Evil all the time listen even God of creation knows how Wicked the heart of his Creations can Get from that wickedness they plot your downfall and when you do not realize this point you open your life to these people to have access and they go to work and finish you up unlike God a man needs your permission to access your life and

affect it there are gifts and blessings of God that are without consequences this means that whoever you are Whatever you do or wherever you find yourself you partake in that gift without your permission the techniques of the devil and his agents are not new or unknown to us the Bible clearly says in the book of second Corinthians chapter 2 verse 11. lest Satan should get an advantage of us for we are not ignorant of his devices listen to me child of God when you are aware of the schemes of the devil you can put up

defenses against them A man will not enter your life with a gift if you already know who this man is and your defenses will neutralize them you need to watch your life and keenly interrogate people's intentions of entering your life knowing fully well how much their minds are constantly devising evil and you do not know exactly what they think caution is required even in the kingdom of God your life is as safe as the protection You employ around it when you allow someone with a bad gift into your life they will deposit their evil gifts

and slowly rot away your life I watched a movie as a kid growing up a group of soldiers needed to enter a fortified City and take it but the defenses of the enemies and their numbers proved to be the most difficult obstacles for this determined Army of great Fighters they tried everything and it failed until they Introduced the idea of a gift to appease their opponents they built a ship to resemble that of the enemies and offered it as a peace sacrifice to them unknown to this enemy inside the hollow of the ship where treaty

golden Goods should be held were the best fighters of the enemy and that was how the enemies found their way into this city and destroyed it Because they took a gift their stronghold was breached and destroyed and their freedom is taken away hear me child of God if they had interrogated that gift from the Trojans this story would have been of defiance rather than of loss God clearly spoke in the Bible admonishing you and me to be diligent watchful and prayerful not because his hands are too short to Protect you or his voice is too

far away to warn you but because the watching over your life that you require requires some concerted efforts from yourself as well as total surrender of those efforts to God's will for protection let us consider this Bible passage which it tells us to watch and pray Matthew 26 verse 41. keep an eye on yourself and pray that you will not succumb to temptation The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak God tells us about the devices of the evil ones led by their archdemon the devil you cannot believe that the devil has come

to kill steal and destroy God's people but you also do not believe that people around you have the same intentions towards you you do not leave any chances for the Devil to attack you in your place of prayer but you leave your physical spaces unchecked and unwatched and while you wait for the appearance of evil to come out and destroy you he has already sent his human agents into your life and the next phase is destruction without your knowledge to this end God instructed us in the Bible passage that we just read in Matthew 26.

You must start by watching while you pray let's make this clear here the place of prayer is a place of watching but the place of watching is not always the place of Prayer When you pray you are taking charge of your spiritual territories by engaging God in the spirit since you cannot operate in the spirit but then you have to watch your life in the physical so that while the spiritual Is being handled by divinity you are not letting your guards down and inviting a man into your life who destroys it finally remember that not

every gift is given with good intentions for you there's a story in the Bible about two boys Cain and Abel Cain was a farmer of the fields and Abel his brother was a hunter of animals a Time came when the two boys offered gifts in the form of burnt offerings to God both of them brought gifts to God set up an altar to God and prepared their sacrifice the Bible goes on to record in the Book of Genesis 4. that Cain's offerings were rejected and Abel's were looked upon with favor this brought out the anger

and jealousy in Cain and in the same Genesis chapter 4 verse 6 then the Lord said to Cain why are you angry why is your face downcast If you do what is right will you not be accepted but if you do not do what is right sin is crouching at your door it desires to have you but you must rule over it the offerings of Cain were rejected by God because God saw that the intentions of his offerings and Gifts were not aligned with this purpose even God our creator rejected the gift of a mere

creation Cain because he saw the intentions of his heart learn this From God today examine the hearts and faces of those who bring you gifts because what goes on in their minds will be reflected in the gifts they bring you hear me well child of God some gifts have been brought into your life to strengthen build and improve your life those gifts you receive and your heart is at peace your spirit must be brought to the place Of perception where it can determine and sieve people's countenances before letting them into your life the gifts of

God through his people will bless you and grow you but there are evil people with very evil agendas in this world and they are always looking for opportunities that fit their crooked ways to destroy the Bible is very clear about such people Reject the devil and his agents and they will take their gifts and flee away from you and your loved ones thank you the Bible is a great book to encounter the grace of God and connect with his blessings it is the only book about which every other book about God and his ways has

been written it is a compendium of God's walk and Works with man all through history it is loaded with the formulas for the blessing and it is also packed with different warnings about different things the Bible speaks of sin in general and the consequences of it in Romans 6 23 for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord God's standards for sin in general have never changed Numerous times in the Bible God warns us about Sin and there are numerous stories of people who have

committed these sins and died as a result the Bible gave warnings about different types of evil that men do and the consequences attached to them the Bible speaks about the sins of idolatry stealing blasphemy covetousness greed murder and many others but there is one particular one I want to talk about In the Bible the sins of adultery and fornication were explicitly dealt with by Jesus and the prophets on so many occasions but in the book of Exodus 2014 says you shall not commit adultery in the New Testament the Bible went even further to put this

same passage in a clearer and simpler context in the Book of Matthew 5 27 the Bible says ye have heard that it was said by them of old Thou shalt not commit Adultery but I say to you whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart and our World At Large seems to be accepting of this abnormality in the world people do not frown upon adultery as much as they used to as it is institutions and businesses have been opened and licensed for the sole purpose of

adultery children men women married and unmarried Are all indulging in immorality and nothing seems to be wrong with it anymore there is a breakdown of values and spiritual principles in our world today everywhere you turn nowadays there seems to be a cheaper way to commit adultery on our phones computers tablets and televisions are images that bring to mind thoughts of fornication and adultery pornography has taken over our society And the devil has used this to ruin our homes and marriages marriages are no longer sacred covenants anymore but rather a show of societal growth and achievement

families have been broken up and the plans of God cut short in their lives because of the rampant cases of adultery in our society it is Little Wonder we are not seeing the hand of God in Revival as we should in this generation The rate of divorce keeps going up every day and over 70 percent of these divorces are due to partner infidelity the sin of adultery is one of the hindrances to God reaching out to our generation remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible it was a city in a generation where

men slept with men and women slept with women Sodom and Gomorrah were cities of sexual Immorality fornication and adultery does that sound familiar with what is going on in our world and society today the city was met with total Destruction and Damnation the Bible describes it in the Book of Genesis at 1924 then the Lord reigned Brimstone and fire down from heaven on Sodom and Gomorrah and he destroyed those cities as well as the plains the people who lived in them and everything that grew on the ground Such as the hatred of God for sexual

immorality and the same Fate has in verse 28 of Matthew 5 where I read earlier the Bible made sure to mention the issue of adultery clearer many people have over time tried to explain adultery in different ways unfortunately many of these originate from the church many preachers and pastors today have come up with explanations of adultery many times to fit into their lifestyle many people will try to define adultery As when a married partner has sexual relations with someone other than their spouse but the Bible tells us that this goes much further you can commit

adultery in Your Heart by just looking at a woman lustfully your eyes are the gateway to your mind whatever your eyes see is what your mind interprets and the Bible was very specific about guarding your heart because it is the source of all matters including life and death So depending on what is going on inside your mind you can either die or live in your heart you have to keep your eyes trained on God in his ways heed the word of God in your heart so that you may not sin against him constantly ensuring you

monitor what your eyes transmit to your mind is key to avoiding the sins of adultery there are a group of people even in the church today who do not accept the Truths of the Kingdom the Bible warned us against false prophets and preachers and end times and unfortunately many of these false prophets are in the church today so many of them have explained away the sacredness of marriage and trivialized adultery in the name of divorce it is a common practice for a man to leave his wife and marry another woman some people today marry five

times in their lifetime Even preachers and pastors have explained it away saying that this is freedom of choice rather than a covenant between two people and God in the Book of Matthew 19 8 Jesus replied Moses permitted divorce only as a concession to your hard Hearts but it was not what God had originally intended I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife except for sexual immorality and marries another woman commits adultery Every day now people divorce because of lust for another person while they are married to their partners pastors have left their wives and

married members of their churches and these sites and abnormalities have become a tradition in the world today because of their selfish aims church leaders have not only changed the sacred ordinance of marriage but endorsed it by joining these couples on the altar of God The world is moving in a dangerous Direction what we used to know as the standard for living almost does not exist anymore in a world where doing the right thing looks foolish and laughable even in the Church of God when you try to do the right things sometimes the leaders and Pastors

in the church try to discourage your heart and change your perception of these sins avenues for indulging the system of Adultery and fornication abound everywhere around us we see them more than we see the things of God projected on screens and tabloids the cheapness of adultery in our generation makes it accessible to almost everyone and very rampant as a child of God the world will not change on our behalf in fact the Bible tells us to expect worse things to happen the Bible tells us to expect these kinds Of happenings in the last days so

instead of praying against this prepare your heart for Temptations ahead because they will come the Bible tells us of a time when women will gather themselves until one man they want to marry him and they will be comfortable as co-wives these times are here the world will not go away with its sin but the Bible also tells us that God has given us the choice whether to live or Die the choices of death and life have been laid before us choose to go with the world into adultery and kill your heart or choose the way

of sexual Purity and gain life through Jesus Christ your parents might be indulging it friends and loved ones might have made it commonplace for adultery it might not even seem that serious after all Your pastors preacher and church leaders may have tried to make it a normal place for adultery in the church and our society but hear me standard of God has never changed in any generation there's a consequence for every action in the kingdom of God and on this Earth the world's pressures to join in this sinful Trend are immense this shouldn't surprise the

Church of God because Jesus told us that Temptations will arise and men will mock us for not believing and following their ways the world might call us foolish and uptight they might spite us and call us names in order to intimidate us into joining with them but Focus your heart on God and on the standard of his word the soul that sinneth shall die This is the principle of God and when the pressures of the world are on find your strength in God because as he said he has sent his holy spirit to strengthen our

hearts and resolve learn to confront your Temptations with the word of God it is the only map to avoid death in the spirit can be expressed in many ways and comes in different areas of life every aspect of our dealings with God is A covenant in principle you must keep an ordinance to receive life and you must activate a covenant principle to receive blessings when you break any of these there is a death in that area and this translates to other parts of your life so like Joshua and his people today the choices laid before

you choose Purity in God and receive life or choose the ways of sexual immorality Fornication and adultery and receive death I encourage you to choose life today to choose God today and to choose sexual Purity today for if the Lord sees iniquity in our hearts his hands are restricted from approaching to help or bless us he already gave us his standard for qualifying to be a host with his presence it is a clean heart and a conducive Environment for him to operate he is a god of light and iniquity has no place in him remember

Jesus the son of God on the cross of calvary the Bible says when he had taken upon him the iniquity of the world the face of God was turned away from Jesus and at that moment his human nature took over him and the Bible records him asking why God turned his face away from him and he died In the same way when you carry iniquity in your heart God is turned away from you and you are exposed to every danger of death but once again I implore you choose life today choose God and choose purity

because whoever breaks the Hedge will surely be bitten by the serpent and that is God's standard God is the Hedge around you if you break that hedge there are serpents who will strike you Is it possible to talk about salvation without transformation I don't think so transformation is the very essence and definition of salvation how else do you prove your experience or Encounter With Jesus if there's no evidence in your life indeed true Christianity is proven through the accompanying fruits the Bible says in Ephesians 4 20 to 24. that however is not the way of

life you Learn when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus you were taught with regard to your former way of life to put off your old self which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires to be made new in the attitude of your minds and to put on the new self created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness true Christianity and the acceptance of the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ sounds like a putting off of the old and a putting on

of the new that is the replacement of one thing with another let me lay a foundation here the purpose of this message is to take you by the hand and lead you from where you are to a much more intentional Christian Life one in which you live as a true ambassador of God's Kingdom in a worthy vessel he can use in a world covered by Deceit and darkness we trust God to use this message to correct your heart rebuild and revive your confidence and strengthen your faith in the righteousness and true Holiness of Jesus the

call to Salvation is a general call that is God beckons on all people regardless of background color race history status and so on to come to him and put their faith on his son Jesus Christ In Titus 2 11 the Bible says for the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people God has set aside one day when he'll judge the whole world and destroy it because of the sin and corruption in it however he's paved the way for awe to come to him to be a part of his family thereby Escaping

The Coming damnation that's what it means when Jesus told Nicodemus whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting Life God doesn't expect the unbeliever to live holy because no matter how he or she tries they can't live holy even when they do good the good acts of a sinner may be commendable but they can't be called holy before God because it's corrupted by the sinful nature they carry so God's expectation of The Sinner is not Holiness but repentance an acceptance of Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ when The Sinner becomes a saint God's

expectation then changes because now you have within you the ability to become like him holy therefore God can say be holy because I am Holy second Corinthians 7 1 puts it this way therefore since we have these promises dear friends let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit perfecting Holiness out of Reverence for God it is true that no one's perfect however each one of us can walk towards perfection and this is the standard of God when you become a child of God you are not brought into God's family to do your

thing your own way no you were brought into God's family and enabled to live by God's standard God does not exist for us but we for him it's very important that you understand This if you really want to have a successful Christian Life that's right there is such a thing as an unsuccessful Christian Life a life that even though it began the journey did not finish it well not everyone who begins this Journey of Faith eventually crosses the Finish Line in the end some will fall by the wayside others will turn around and some will

turn to other distractions I pray that you and I will finish well does God love us you know he does in every action of his is proof of that it's his love that made him provide his only son to save a race on its way to destruction it is love that makes him take us serious when we don't take him serious his love makes him discipline us when we need to be corrected as we make our journey the love of God his mercy and judgment All work together he is not divided for instance you're listening

to this message today because God loves you and wants to teach you something you might be missing in your life you see we live in a world of lies and deception so many children of God are blown here and there LED in the opposite direction of where God's pointing for us to go they think they know what they're doing but in reality they're destroying their Christian work the passage we saw earlier makes it clear that we have the responsibility to purify ourselves you can't just let your life go with the wind or the flow of

this world you'll just end up where you don't want to be being a Christian like I mentioned from the beginning of this message is characterized by a substitution of one life for another it involves a surrender of yourself over To God's sovereignty choosing to live by his standards rather than yours or the worlds again I repeat being a Christian means to surrender to God's standard when you choose a lifestyle or any action that goes contrary to everything God stands for not only are you committing a sin you're also destroying your Christian Life bit by bit

what are some of these destructive habits that can ruin your Christian Journey One attempting to mix the old life with the new you cannot produce God's fruit or his results by sowing the seeds of the flesh or the world Galatians 6 7-8 do not be deceived God cannot be mocked a man reaps what he sows whoever sows to please their flesh from the flesh will reap destruction whoever sows to please the spirit from the spirit will reap eternal life in one of our previous videos I shared with you that it was your spirit that God

saved at the new birth and that your mind wasn't that's why you discovered that your mind still thinks and wants to make you do things like you used to it's a programming and therefore it must be renewed and upgraded to God's system now in the same manner in receiving Jesus you must understand that light and darkness cannot mix the world lies in darkness and operates under the power and influence of the Devil the Lord of Darkness yes you were once there yes you used to be like that yes you are still in the world now

still you must understand that you're a new creation Now you've been washed now now you're okay by a different set of rules now you operate differently now you have a higher calling before you lived for yourself now however you live for God When you think or act contrary to his mindset like the illustration of the old and new wine you'll only destroy yourself Luke 5 37-38 and no one pours new wine into old wine skins otherwise the new wine will burst the skins the wine will run out and the wine skins will be ruined no

new wine must be poured into new wine skins to come to Jesus and claim to receive Him only to go back and try to live a life still hanging on to the way you used to makes your faith and salvation very questionable Paul wrote let the thief who is in Christ steal no more this means that you have a responsibility to learn the culture of the kingdom of God which of course rests greatly on love and Holiness and live by it you make a mockery of the death and Sacrifice of Jesus and the grace of

God to think you can live a mixed life it won't work Satan will only take advantage of you and enslave you even more trapping you until he succeeds in destroying your soul part of the change that may occur when you receive Jesus will require you to leave many things and in some cases many people behind in order to be who God calls you to be this is because the things you used to Do will get in the way of your walk with God ungodliness brings reproach to God's name exalts the power of Satan over you

and traps you in guilt in the very bondage Jesus died to free you from some of these mixtures also include secret sins those sinful indulgences we participate in when no one's there coming from one who's had his own fair Share of struggling with secret sins I'll tell you this it kills your spiritual life gradually unless you're not being honest with yourself you will never feel confident before God or anyone at that you'll not grow in faith to take authority over the devil because you know in secret you're still his slave you will struggle in prayer

and studying the word soon you'll find yourself back where you came from in your Christian Journey aborted but we've not been called to this experience dear child of God instead we've been called to God's mercy Grace love and Promises I encourage you to choose today to yield to God by asking the Holy Spirit to help you separate yourself from the old way of life and embrace the new on Jesus so that you can bring glory to God 2. passiveness toward the things of God Another habit you must be wary of which is a danger to

your Christian Life is the lifestyle of being passive or indifferent towards the things of God permit me to tell you that it's a sign of spiritual deficiency to be indifferent toward things God's passionate about Romans 12 11. never be lacking in Zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the lord a sign of spiritual healthiness is Spiritual fervency a lack of it is a sign that something's wrong and like an illness if not properly handled will cause great damage [Music] evidence of passiveness is when you aren't passionate about spiritual matters like praying consistently skipping prayer times

or fellowship with other believers neglecting your personal devotion with God Evangelizing or sharing your faith and being more interested to talk about things other than God consistently practicing these things will leave you powerless and soon faithless you may still profess Christianity but your life will be void of its power you must ask God to continue to stir his fire in your heart and make you more conscious and desirous of him than anything else If our Eternal destination is heaven then it should make greater sense to have Heavenly Passions it should make more sense to desire

more and more ways to engage with Heavenly things than Earthly don't you agree 3. the habit of making and associating with ungodly companions you see the Bible says that iron sharpens iron wood is useful in its own way but cannot be considered a tool for sharpening any Sharp edge tool God does not say you should not be friendly you know we can't minister to or save the world by not interacting with it Jesus was and still is the sinner's friend he's accessible and willing to deliver them without casting off those who come to him however

he is the sinner's friend Jesus only calls the obedient Saint his friend John 15 14. you are my friends if you do what I command the Bible tells us that a person who walks with wise people will himself be wiser but a companion of fools will be destroyed constantly befriending and associating yourself with the world is unhealthy to your walk with God because of the effect it can have on you you must choose instead to surround yourself with like-minded people Fellow Believers heading the same way you are and having enough spiritual value to help you

be a better Christian there are many other habits that can threaten your walk with God however God has given us a key to overcoming these habits and it's to lay aside every weight in your life and fix your eyes on Jesus Hebrews 12 1-2 therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses let us Throw off everything that hinders in the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us fixing our eyes on Jesus the Pioneer and Perfecter of faith for the joy set before

him he endures the cross scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God Let Jesus be your focus your purpose your intention and your goal when he's all that matters everything Else will fall behind the shadow Satan's deception will be exposed and you will break free ask the Lord to help you lay these habits aside and fix your eyes on Jesus until the end [Music] foreign s you can do for yourself once in a while is to sit down and evaluate yourself and your journey in life sometimes we only

look back for the Things we achieved or couldn't achieve the hurts or Joys we experienced the people we met and those we lost among many other things however is one area that seems neglected so often the health of our relationship with the Holy Spirit and how that in itself shapes Our Lives outcomes I can give different citations to point out the importance of the holy spirit in the life of the Christian when we neglect him that is the Holy Spirit the Christian personally Bears the burden of that responsibility by his or herself for example he

is the believer's guide one of the things Jesus said the spirit would do in the lives of Believers is to guide us into all truth John chapter 16 verse 13 says but when he the spirit of truth comes he will guide you into all the truth he will not speak on his own he will speak only what he hears and he will tell you what is yet to come Can you imagine driving in a new environment without someone to guide you or a GPS to tell you where you are and where you're going the outcome

is that you're going to get lost you'll struggle more spend more time and even money than you would if you had someone to guide you a GPS or if you were familiar with the terrain if for this instance alone the believer you should never imagine life on your own without the help of the Holy Spirit Don't you agree you are not supposed to do Life by yourself you are not supposed to struggle the way you have so far you are not supposed to live as if you have no one when your father is the monarch

of the entire universe God is promised to help you Isaiah 41 13 says for I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you do not fear I will help you Why do you need God's help you need God's help because you cannot do Life by yourself or on your own for too long you will wear yourself out over time if you try it's made it clear to his disciples when he said without me you can do nothing we need him as much as the air we breathe we

need God's help the way a branch needs the tree to survive without connection to God through his Spirit you and I will just wear out like a broken Branch so many sufferings in your life would have been short-lived if only you'd let the Holy Spirit help you God has promised to help you no matter what it is you're dealing with now God has provided help for you the question is are you aware or taking advantage of that help John chapter 14 verses 16 through 18 says and I will ask the father and he will give

you another Advocate to help you and be with you Forever the spirit of Truth the world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him but you know him for he lives with you and will be in you I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you you see the world cannot have or take advantage of the work of the Holy Spirit the way the Christian can why because they cannot connect with him to them he is not real but to the true child of God he is he is God

living in you comforting nurturing Training inspiring strengthening directing and purifying you from the inside he is Jesus Christ in you guiding you towards the Finish Line after Crossing it himself the holy spirit is the source of the character of the new creature in Christ this means whatever transformation you notice in your life or in the life of anyone in Christ Jesus is the result of the inner working of the holy spirit in inside of them When the Apostle Paul was saying he could do all things through Christ strengthening him what was he talking about how

was Jesus Christ strengthening him he was working in men through his Spirit residing within them so as long as he lived within us we were connected to Jesus and can receive everything from him I can keep going on but I cannot over emphasize this you need the help of the Holy Spirit to survive life and emerge Victorious in the end stop struggling and let the Holy Spirit help you what are you struggling with in your life right now are you going from one failed decision after another knowing what to do or why it's not working

does depression overwhelm you so much but you have to constantly keep a happy face because of society are you being overwhelmed by Family responsibilities Or crisis around your life and it's falling apart bit by bit with nowhere to turn the Bible tells us that in the last days Darkness will cover the Earth Isaiah chapter 60 verse 2 says see Darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples but the Lord Rises upon you and His Glory Appears over you today we can see this Darkness more than ever it's all over the media it's

all Over many marriages it is all over many governments and economies it is all over many individuals and Families darkness in this context is anything contrary to light and contrary to God hence when the Bible says it will cover the Earth it is telling us that we will see many manifestations in different forms today one significant form is depression all the suicide addiction addictions divorces infidelity negative influence From Bad Company anger issues riots and lots more in statistics today can be traced to sorrow and depression overwhelming individuals and Families you may be listening to my

voice right now and struggling for your life without anyone knowing about it you may be listening to my voice while contemplating the best way to end your Misery by taking your own life someone may be planning a social gathering with Friends Meeting greats And community service while struggling to breathe emotionally someone else may not have any of these issues however he or she just wants to be accepted the way they are the way God made them not the way Society wants them to be look around you some of the people you label as bad people

because they arrogantly choose a lifestyle contrary to God and are trying to force you to accept them did not start this because they knew it was the right thing to do They just want to be seen they want it to be heard so they choose a very loud lifestyle of course one the devil takes advantage of to corrupt and Destroy however I want you to see that struggles are real and it will continue to rain if you do not let the Holy Spirit help you you may say I don't have any struggles in my life

I am better than those who do I don't have any struggles and so I do not need the holy spirit's help careful so you do not deceive yourself No one can survive the wickedness chaos and struggles of this life without God's help and how best to help you than to be with you himself that my friend is the work of the Holy Spirit if you're struggling with the trauma right now he wants to help you if you're struggling with an addiction a fear a broken heart confusion acceptance and anything he wants to help you will

sees your fears he knows that you are nervous about tomorrow and about what is next to happen in your life because you do not Have the opportunity to glance the future he knows that you become scared anytime you think of how life will treat you next hence he has said in the passage we just read that you should cast all your anxieties on him he knows everything Yes you heard me right God is not limited by time space for matter that means he is everywhere everything And any time the book of Colossians 1 17 makes

us know that he existed before anything else and he holds all creation together one of the first lessons I learned about God was from my mother she would always tell me that before she gave birth to me God already knew me I wondered how a God I couldn't see I didn't know already knew me before I existed but as I grow up now I begin to see the Reason why she says that my mother said that to me because she knows that God exists Before Time in time and Beyond it that is a God you

should let have control of your ways and affairs in my opinion a God who knows the beginning of your life the present and knows where it will end is qualified to handle your life's affairs imagine your life being piloted by and protected by a God who loves you cares for you and has all your information at Hand the reason why you are still going through a lot without any sign of a Flicker at the end of the tunnel is that you have not let God have his way yet there is no glory in God stepping

because of their perception that heaven answers too slowly but for any believer whose intention is to let God have his way you must be prepared for Stillness and ice cold faith in his ability in the Book of Psalms 46 10 God says be Still and know that I am God I will be honored by every nation I will be honored throughout the world anxieties are a communication of fear and fear is a communication of the lack of faith without faith no man shall see God the leadership of God is based on a principle of Blind

Faith even when it seems all hopeless this is the standard of God Stillness in the face of challenges is a Sign that tells God that you believe in his ability to show up anytime anywhere you believe in his promises just like the three Hebrew boys Shadrach Meshach and Abednego who were thrown into the fire while proclaiming the lordship of God even while faced with certain excruciating death and we know what happened God showed up for them trust more trust and a lot more Trust have you ever considered deep Proverbs 3 5 trust in the Lord

with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him and he will make your path straight one of the ways to let God have his way in your life is total and complete trust in God listen to me child of God trust in God's understanding and in his omnipresence I have come to realize through painful lessons that I cannot help God Many times we are tempted to want to help God hasten up the process of something he has already begun that is a show of distrust in his

process and many times you will find Heaven's hands off such projects no human is capable of assisting God who needs no assistance seek God in the knowledge of him there is no way you will trust someone enough to hand your life over to them Until you know that your life at the very least is safe nobody carries a precious Jewel and hands it to a keeper whom he knows nothing about our relationship with God is a symbiotic one where we get to become like him as we follow him while he leads our path the knowledge

carries his principles for life and Destiny you cannot know God until you begin to seek him God is not a charlatan nor is he bored he only shows himself to people who deservedly seek him in Deuteronomy 4 29 the Bible says but from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul God promises that if we seek him with all your heart then you will find him any promise that God makes in his word is redeemable at any shop

of life Because his words are actions in motion you begin to see his ways understand them better and while you study them your own life begins to take on a pattern in the same vein as you have seen through the study of him kill your self one of the final points that shows that a man is at a point where God can take over is at this point of Brokenness where yourself your ego your knowledge and your understanding become useless to You I once saw an old man crying profusely in front of the altar in

response to an altar call and when he was asked he said in all his 68 years of existence and over 30 years in academics for the first time he had to acknowledge that all his wisdom was useless he was not crying because of regrets but that all these years he had held on to the wrong beliefs All his beliefs became useless when confronted by God John 3 30 says he must become greater and greater and I must become less and less you must deny yourself and take up your cross daily you must trust in the

Lord in the hardest situations you must discipline yourself to say no to the world your life must be all about Christ God knows how it should be God knows exactly how it is and he knows how it is going to be let him have his way today his spirit will not continue to battle with us as he did with Jacob in the wilderness take that very important but very small step to hand your life completely to him today and enjoy a life of ease and less anxiety about what tomorrow brings [Music]
