you wait to the very end of this video to hear the secret of how to go viral how about I tell you it right now to increase your chances of going viral on Instagram reals you need to make and predict trending content which I'm going to teach you how to do in this video trending content allows you to expand your reach find new followers and get increased visibilities on your video while original content is extremely important creating content that includes trending sounds can boost the audience that sees your content notice in the beginning how I
didn't just say make content based on trending sounds like I feel like that's pretty obvious at this point I mean we all kind of know that by now but it goes beyond just making trending content it goes into predicting and accurately predicting what trends are going to be when you are among the first to find Trends or newly trending sounds you become an originator you get to ride the complete wave of a trend before it dies down let me explain this to you for my visual Learners me so Trends happen in waves like a a
wave graph this wave graph represents the number of views a trend is getting so as the trend becomes more popular you're getting more views on that specific Trend when you find a trend that's already trending you can hop on that and get the tail end of the views this is still helpful and can absolutely be part of your strategy however when you're able to accurately predict an upcoming Trend and you're one of those first few creators you get to reap the benefits of all of the views because people always go back to those original videos
on a trend or trending sound so looking at this graph you have to ask yourself where during this peak of views do you want to be creating your content and posting your content if you're one of the first people to predict a trend and hop on the trend before it Peaks you get to reap the benefit of all of these views however if you're somebody who's on the tail end of the creation process with that Trend you get the tail end of the views which is still helpful but it all depends on your preference and
your strategy think about when a new show is trending on Netflix season 1 episode 1 will always have the most views compared to their season 3 episode 7 being an originator puts you at an advantage because you again get the views from all of the other creators who are looking to create content on that specific Trend okay enough about this you're wondering how can you predict Trends how do you do this I've been using an app called Trend talk Trend talk uses AI to help creators find discover and predict new trends within their location Niche

heard what I said you might be thinking Millie I want to grow Instagram reals not Tik Tok so so why am I using Trend talk if they help you grow your Tik Tok might be confusing right believe it or not almost all of the trends that you see on Instagram reals actually come from and start on Tik Tok so using Trend talk it actually makes it possible for you to start Trends and be the first person to bring them over to Instagram reals before anyone else when you do this you have the advantage of creating
the original audio for a trend where most people will now be using your sound increasing your reach even more over a longer period of time I know this is a lot so I'm hoping this is making sense now enough of the talking let's just dive into the trend talk app so you can visually see how it works and how I've been using it when you first download the app be sure to follow the onboarding steps to properly personalize the for you section on your app these suggestions will help you easily and quickly find trends that
are appropriate within your Niche the algorithm that they use takes many factors into account such as your profile size or your account size your location your interest your Niche account goals all of the things so it's a very specific algorithm so make sure you are filling that out when you first download the app now this is kind of what the main page looks like you can start by kind of looking through your region or your Niche so like places I would go through top sounds USA and then scroll through categories and find my Niche this
will give me an idea for what I can make and would be most relevant to my business and then on top of that you can scroll through to see top creators and the sounds that they're using because either those are Trends or they are going to be Trends because these high-profile creators are usually the ones to start a lot of Trends the my go-to place is I always go to the personalized for you section this for You album is very specific to your location your account size your Niche and to get more personalized suggestions here
you're going to go to settings customize for you algorithm and then answer all of these questions so I'm just starting out where are you located what are your interests let's say I am more educational entrepreneurship books entertainment next and then their algorithm will generate an album specifically for you and you want to do this continuously as your account grows so that the algorithm can always be reconfigured figed to where you are with your business and give you the best sounds or the best trends for your account size now let's talk about finding trends when you
open an album you'll see trending sounds it's important to look through the entire list of sounds because it's usually in the middle of the list where you'll see Trends up and coming so as I'm just looking at this list you'll see a few different icons you see a green arrow you see a blue dot and then you'll also see let me see if I can find one oh usually there is a few huh not on this one let's go to top sounds Global here we go you have the Green Arrow red arrow and the blue
dot the green arrow means this is a trending sound or a Rising sound red arrow means it's been going down in amount of uses and Views and then the blue dot is usually a new sound that is like boom this is new on the charts new could be a new trend what you want to be mainly looking for are green arrows and blue dots since they are predicted to continue to rise if you're a new Creator I recommend scrolling to like the middle or bottom of the list to find trending sounds that are not oversaturated
yet the higher up a sound is on the list the more likely it is that sound has been used more frequently so to have a better chance of increasing your views or your reach shoot for that middle lower tier on that list and then whenever you hop on a trend always try to put your unique twist to it a lot of these sounds may or may not be relevant to your Niche but there's always a way to apply a sound or apply a trend to your Niche so you just have to get creative with it
and see what you can do for your business and for your target audience when you're able to apply a trending sound to your specific Niche not only does it make you stand out as a Creator but because you are able to specify who the type of content was for you actually increase the chances of those people actually following you because when that content finds the right people those people are like oh this is exactly what I need instead of just like oh this was a regular Trend Skip it's like no this trend was geared towards
people who went to grow on Instagram love the creativity I want to grow on Instagram follow you know what I mean all right so if you're a numbers person or an analytics person and you want to see more information about the sound what you're going to do is click on a sound so let's go to actually I don't want to go there I want to go to for you go to like the middle this one's trending so I click on the sound and it's going to show you the um kind of waves we were talking
about the wav graph of views from the past few weeks and predicting the views over the next week so here you see the green graph this is how the views have been going up over the past few weeks and the blue graph is the prediction of views so you can see the views have kind of been going up and up and up and up and if it continues to go up this would be a great sound to hop on let me see this my house an please he's my neighbor so you can listen to the
sound right here you can also use the arrow and it'll take you directly to Tik Tok to that trending sound and you could see all of the other videos that are using it and see how you can apply it to your Niche on top of that there's this hashtag section and this is showing you the top hashtags that people are using for this trending sound so this is a list of all of the hashtags like Borat this is my house let's see what else makes sense maybe I would just do those two copy those two
and then you can paste it to Tik Tok when you're posting your content in addition to to the prediction of views you also below that have the trending countries that the sound is trending in so that's something else that you want to be aware of um right now this is green in the United States it's a trending sound in the US so it might be one that I want to adapt to and then if I'm like yes I want to use this sound going to go back to that list and press save on the sounds
that I want to use in the future what the not that one I don't use the cussing ones we'll save that one now for me typically when I am doing my content research or strategizing for upcoming reels I want to be making I actually do that on a separate day of filming so maybe I'll be sitting on this app and I'll be saving like 10 sounds and then in a few days I am done up and I'm like okay I'm ready to batch my my Instagram reals so I'm ready to batch my reels the thing
is with Trends is that sometimes they're trending and sometimes they're not they could disappear like that so I go to my Sav section and I could click through each of the sounds to see where they are today in the trending Arena and that was one I saved a while ago it doesn't look like there's any upcoming predictions so right now it's like maybe this wouldn't be the best sound to use because there's no upcoming predictions whereas with this one cool there's another Peak that's being predicted so it's always updating of like hey even though you
saved this 5 days ago this one might not be the best one to use you can actually use this one and this one because there are Peaks coming up with these so that's kind of how on the day of creation I choose which ones I'm going to record the final feature that I'll show you on the app is the search filter obviously if you hear a sound on Tik Tok that you just like keep coming across and you want to look it up to see what sort of predictions are going to happen or to see
where it is with the trends you can look that up here so like driver's license there's a bunch of different variations so maybe the original the original here we go but you can have the original or if like the original is trending and there's other variations of like remixes that might be a fun spin to apply to your video so you could do a [Music] remix y so you could find those different remixes here which is just a really fun way to I don't know explore sounds this one had a recent Peak but there doesn't
look like there's any upcoming predictions so let's see the original I know that was a trend a while back yeah back there there was huge um huge Trend but no upcoming predictions so it's just a great way if you hear a sound constantly on Tik Tok you can look it up see where it is see if there's any predictions for like hey incorporate this one coming up so just another cool feature now when it comes to short form video content I want to remind you that there are a lot of layers that go into creating
