the Ider family that has been protecting the southern part of the empire for the longest time their power and influence right now are much greater than any other Noble House their power is so great that even the Imperial family has started to see them as a threat and that is why the emperor wants to curb their power before they can grow further he plans to make Duke Bart Mar into a powerless family so that he can't gain more power through diplomatic marriage though the Duke knows the emperor's ulterior motives he agrees to do as he
says he claims that if any Noble family comes to him with a marriage proposal he will marry their daughter soon he gets a marriage proposal from the Barony of Leva Bart knows that their firstborn daughter is turning 20 this year and he agrees to the marriage because hoki doesn't care about who the bride is going to be he is certain that he won't be able to enjoy married life and on the contrary he is afraid that his future wife is going to run away from his house after getting suffocated by the M surrounding it however

leads us back to the present where she and Bart are staring at each other dumbfounded Bart can't believe what he is seeing and he turns to the guard that accompanied him asking if this girl is seriously supposed to be his wife the guard tries to feain confidence as he tells Bart that he had accepted the marriage proposal before checking things so it is his fault and if he rejects she she will carry the disgrace of an alment for the rest of her life Bart gives him a cold stare promising that he won't forgive the prank
that the Lewa family has pulled on him he then turns towards she who thinks that he looks quite handsome Bart kneels before her and then sees the scars on her hands realizing that she has been tormented by her family he grows Furious and declares that he is going to take she into his family she is horrified by this because she was convinced that Bart looked like a decent man who would turn down the marriage but he turned out to be trash however Bart has one twist to change her opinion again he declares that he will
take she as his family only if she agrees to become his adopted daughter she is dumbfounded although she knows that becoming a Duke's adopted daughter is a good thing she can't trust anyone after being betrayed by her friend in her previous life she begins to wonder if the Duke has any ulterior motives but realizes that she can't return to her father's house now she decides to stay here in hope to stabilize her heart she tells the Duke that she will stay with him and even if he doesn't want to adopt her she is ready to
even become a maid just as she says this she feels weak and collapses into Bart's arm who immediately calls for the doctor soon she wakes up in a luxurious bedroom and wonders where she is just then she hears a voice telling the maids to call the doctor now that she is awake the woman then comes to she asking if she remembers where she is right now she introduces herself as Daphne and says that she is going to be her new nanny she greets her politely and as they keep talking she can almost hear dafne's thoughts
as she is cursing the lebwa family for sending her as a bride after that Daphne tells her that art has sent a gift for her the gift is a giant candy and she mistakes it for a shield At first she suddenly realizes that she overreacted and fears that The Nanny will punish her however Daphne just worries about her health and asks her to wait because the doctor will be here any moment now she has some not so pleasant memories with doctors in her past life because they always nagged her about her health she doesn't want
to see a doctor because of that and tries to control the Mana circulating outside her heart that makes Daphne even more worried about her and just then do Cedric comes there he says he will start the checkup immediately but stops for a bit as he sees she standing cutely in front of the giant candy anyway he begins to check up and asks Daphne to handle the stethoscope because a male doctor cannot directly examine a noble lady Cedric listens to her heartbeat and remarks that she seems to have had a weak body from birth but her
family didn't report anything about this he then asks she if she knew about it and if her family gave her any sort of treatment she remains silent and Cedric understands that she was neglected he promises she that he will make sure she is completely healthy again but she tells him that it is not necessary because as long as she is healthy enough to live normally she is fine this shocks Cedric who believes that she has given up on her life he asks her to not give up hope yet and swears that he will make her
perfectly healthy again she is taken aback at his conclusion because she is not the type to give up on her life so easily rather she is certain that her disease can't be cured because Cedric couldn't even sense the Mana around her heart she believes that that once she grows strong enough to control the Mana she will become healthy but Cedric is burning with passion to cure her after he goes Daphne tells she that she can now eat the candy and for that she pulls out a heavy hammer and smashes the candy with it she is
dumbfounded and though she wonders who Daphne really is she is certain that she is a kind person who cares about her however Daphne doesn't trust she to that level yet she can't say anything to Bart since he is the Duke but she plans to be cautious around she to learn about her intentions however when she gives her some candy she is Smitten by her cuteness they begin to eat the candy but she's stomach was completely empty so it couldn't digest it and she ends up puking on the bed on the other hand Bart has got
a letter from She's family who want him to set up a date for exchanging vows with his bride Bart gets furious at their audacity and throws the letter in the fire he then decides to write a reply to the Leva family himself and tells them that he has adopted she as his daughter until she willingly gives up the membership of his family nothing can change his decision after that he begins thinking about how it was not necessary for him to adopt she if he wanted to hold her family accountable or even to protect her he
wonders why he is so desperate about adopting her and then realizes that she reminds him of his past and that is why he wants to help her just then Cedric comes to his office and tells Bart that she's heart seems to have shrunk abnormally almost as if something is compressing it he then tells the Duke another thing about she and that is how she distributed the candy to everyone one Bart is curious about it and Cedric says that it was going very well and everyone wanted a piece of the candy but when the maids gathered
in front of her she got flustered and scared Cedric deduces that this is because she was treated very badly by the servants in her house Bart is concerned about this and he thinks that he must do something to make she realize that no one will harm her here a couple of days later she's room has been redesigned for her and there are a lot of toys that Bart has gifted her she wonders why the Duke is being so kind to her and thinks that can be because she has a huge amount of Mama in her
past life she used to be happy whenever anyone came to her to ask for help or favors she always liked helping others but after being betrayed by her friend she has lost her confidence she knows that the people at the Duke's Mansion are better than those at her biological Father's House despite that she doesn't want to trust anyone till she is sure of Bart's intentions just then a maid comes to her room to check if she is awake she asks her to let her sleep for a bit longer and the maid decides to clean her
her room in the meanwhile as the maid is distracted she sneaks out of her bed to explore the area she nervously steps out of the mansion and finds that the region is covered in Mona Mist she knows that where Mona mist is so dense a lot of rare herbs are found she soon finds rare medicinal herbs scattered around like weeds and even the sand of the region has Mana in it as a magician she thinks that this place is a treasure Trove but then wonders why no one is taking care of it she is also
worried that someone might spot her so she decides to use the Mana in in the Mist to cast an invisibility spell because her body can't handle it when she uses her internal mama she successfully casts the spell and hides herself which gives her the chance to explore the region freely she goes outside the mansion and reaches the beach where she finds a giant clam she thinks that it looks like a nice place to hide and study so she climbs inside and puts the herbs she has gathered inside she is happy that she has found a
place where the air is Rich with Mana but then suddenly the clam shuts itself on her and she panics she feels her heart almost stop from the shock of the clam closing on her and tries hard to keep it under control suddenly she sees a huge glowing Pearl floating in the air in front of her she is so mesmerized by the Pearl that she forgets about her heart she wonders if this Pearl is formed naturally and since it is really beautiful she decides that she can't lose it to anyone she then uses the Mona filled
sand to draw a magic circle inside the clam and activates a detection spell that will inform her if anyone comes to the clam she is happy about that and tries to grab grab the Pearl but it evades her and then suddenly vanishes she is disappointed by that and then she suddenly hears the voices of people gathered outside the clam they are panicking because she is trapped inside the clam and they force its mouth open to rescue her she is moved to tears as she sees the worried face of Daphne who hugs her and immediately returns
to her room once there she gets checked up for any injuries and then Daphne tells her that the clam has grown to an abnormally large size because of absorbing magic Mists and she should not get too close to it she then begins to tell she that she was really worried about her which is news to her in her past life she was the one who was always thrown into danger for the sake of others and she never had anyone worry about her like this she wonders why Daphne cares about her when she isn't gaining anything
from that and then decides to ask the question to her directly Daphne Smiles as she shows the pieces of candy that she gave her she says that since she gave her something so precious it is her duty to serve her with all her heart she believes her words with every cell of her body body and thinks that if the Candy gift works so well she should share it with more people Daphne then wipes she's face and tells her to go to bed now she starts feeling drowsy but then she realizes that she should not have
been found so easily because she was using an invisibility spell suddenly she notices someone standing outside the door and asks Daphne who is he Daphne replies that the man is night Losa who has been ordered to guard shei Daphne then asks another maid to bring Loa inside and she gets nervous because she wasn't planning to meet meet him right away soon the silver-haired night Loa comes there and greets she and his fiery golden eyes catch her attention she recognizes them is the Mystic eye that allows its owner to see Mana they can see much more
than other humans but when they get exhausted they temporarily become blind also a magician can Look Into the Mystic eye to see the memories of its owner she decides to read loa's memories and finds that her invisibility magic did not work on him after all he noticed her sneaking out of the mansion and reported it to the Duke who ordered the servants to rescue her she is disappointed that her invisibility spell is useless now and Daphne asks her if she is fine she replies that she is fine and then apologizes for staring at Loa because
his eyes are too sparkly Loa flinches on hearing this and then Daphne explains that everyone in his family has the same eyes she is amazed to hear that his Mystic eye is not artificially created and she remarks that they look like beautiful Jewels Loa is moved by her words and he kneels before her swearing that he will dedicate his body and soul to serve her she doesn't understand what is happening but then Daphne tells her that it is a good thing that she is not bothered by loa's eyes she suddenly notices that the other maid
is not comfortable around Loa and she wonders if people here don't like the Mystic eyes turns out that Losa has a rather traumatic backstory that revolves around the Mystic eyes of his family it started with his father who was a knight himself and he was accused of killing the noble lady he was supposed to guard he kept saying that it was not the lady but a monster but no one believed him because of that Loa and his family were ridiculed and harassed by everyone and they thought that their golden eyes were cursed back at home
Losa keeps thinking about that and how she was the first person to call his eyes beautiful suddenly his younger brother calls out to him and asks what he is thinking so deeply about Loa immediately hugs his brother Frey asking if he is feeling well Frey replies that he is feeling better today and he can even go outside he asks his brother for permission and losia decides to accompany him on the walk because Frey is not the healthiest boy around as they take a walk Frey asks him why he looks in such a good mood today
and Losa tells him that someone called his eyes beautiful that is shocking news to Frey who can't believe it he asks losia about the person who said that and he tells him about shei Frey is really happy on hearing that for some reason and he hopes that he can meet shei so that she can say such nice things to him too a few days pass after that and losia becomes more comfortable around shei but he still doesn't come in front of her most of the time suddenly she feels the detection spell in the clam being
triggered and learns that someone has found her hiding spot she hopes that whoever it is they don't find the magic circle that was created by her she decides that if the magic circle is found she will just claim that it was there before she visited it she then decides to learn more about the country and time she is in and asks Daphne to bring her some books to read Daphne asks her what kind of book she wants to read and she excitedly says that she wants something that has trees and birds and lot of pictures
Daphne asks her to wait while she fetches a book and she hopes that she brings one that has information about the climate and vegetation of this region luckily Daphne brings a children's book that gives her a tour of the continent and she starts reading it however the start of the book makes her rub her eyes to make sure that she is seeing things right the book talks about Emperor Milan the who banned magic in the continent she freaks out on reading that and wonders what the hell the book means by Banning magic she reads that
the emperor million thought that Mages were oppressing the normal people and that is why he banned the use of magic those who tried practicing magic in secret were caught and executed because magic was deemed scary and dangerous she is horrified to learn this but then she suddenly realizes that the best thing that happened to her was doctors not diagnosing her condition correctly if they had detected her Mana she would be branded a Mage and killed however that makes her worry about the magic circle in the clam because that can also lead to her execution she
tells Daphne that she likes the book but now she is feeling sleepy Daphne tells she sweet dreams and then asks the other maid to leave the room that was what she was counting on and she thinks that now she can sneak out using her invisibility magic unfortunately for her losia is still outside the door and she can't go out that way so she decides to take some serious measures and goes to the window instead she uses invisibility and flight Magic on her body at the same time even though it puts a huge strain on her
heart luckily she just needs to do it long enough to reach the ground she then speeds towards the clam hoping to erase the magic circle before someone finds it and in case it is found she should at least learn who was the person who entered the clam to her shock the person who visited the clam was none other than Bart himself she is shocked to see him here but Bart is also curious to learn the reason she is here he had wanted to ask her about that after she was rescued from the clown but he
hesitated thinking that she may see it as an interrogation and fear him that is why he came to the clam to check things and and it brought back some traumatic memories of the past he remembered the day his elder brother who usually hated him smiled kindly towards him he told Bart that he hid the sword he wanted inside the clam and told him to get it Bart believed him not understanding that it was a trap even though the servants and knights chuckled at that he soon found the clam and began searching for the sword inside
it when it snapped shut on him Bart freaked out because of that and as he heard monsters surrounding the clam he realized why his brother sent him here he began crying and prayed for someone to save him but the servants and knights didn't care if he lived or died now he thinks that it was fortunate that the Mist has not thickened yet or she would have been in danger too meanwhile she still thinks that her invisibility spell is keeping her hidden from Bart even though he appears to be staring towards her she climbs up the
clam but as she sees Bart's gaze follow her she suddenly realizes that she got caught she knows that in her past life those who had mastered swordsmanship could detect invisibility magic and see outlines of the people hiding but Bart has gone beyond that and he can clearly see she she realizes that there is no point in using the invisibility spell anymore so she cancels it the Duke then asks her if this clam is her Hideout and she tells him that it is not he asks her why she brought sand here then and she nervously says
that it was white and pretty he then asks her about the withered grass next to her and she says that it was also pretty thankfully Bart doesn't seem to be doubting her and she is relieved she then notices Bart staring at the thick Mist in the distance and he tells her that soon this place will be completely filled with mist and all the sea monsters will come here the sea monsters are cunning in ways that land monsters cannot be and they can take any form to confuse their target he says that there is some time
for that to happen and in that time she is free to claim the clam as her own he even promises that he won't come here and leave it to her she is surprised to hear that and she decides to ask him a question that has been bottled up inside her ever since she came here she asks Bart why he did adopt her and he tells her about his elder brother who tormented him because he saw him as a rival to inheriting the title of the Duke one day he trapped him inside the clam and that
was the day Bart realized that out of all his family members and servants there was no one on his side after that he focused on building his strength alone and because of that his father chose to make him the next Duke Bart says that he banished his brother and Lackey after that but he still felt lonely and empty because of his trauma he tells she that when he saw her she reminded him of himself she also didn't have anyone on her side that is why he wanted to give her things that he wanted for himself
as a child he says that this is a win-win situation for both of them and she is benefiting a lot from it she can escape The Baron's family like this and if she wants he can help her get revenge too Bart suddenly realizes that he may have said two complex things for a 5-year-old to understand he tells she that it is fine if she doesn't understand things and if she wants to learn the answer when she is smart enough he will be happy to repeat it bar then leaves the clam and asks her not to
stay here for too long as he goes she realizes that even though the Duke is skilled enough to see through her invisibility spell he hasn't realized anything about magic because he has no information about it time passes quickly after that and she gets close to Loa letting him hold her while she takes a walk through the garden she keeps staring at his eyes while he holds her losia then suddenly brings up the topic of her sneaking out of the room he tells her that she is not perfectly healthy right now so she should ask him
in case she wants to go out instead of climbing down she eagerly asks him if he is going to help her sneak out and then keep it a secret from everyone loia gets tense at this and begins to seriously think about her childish statement she finds him adorably innocent and then losia comes up with an answer he says that he will not tell Bart about she sneaking out immediately but after she has returned to her room she says that beats the whole point of sneaking out but loia comes to the middle ground and says that
he will keep her outings a secret from Cedric because he keeps nagging her she likes the deal but unfortunately Cedric already knew about her current outing and he scolds her saying that if she sneaks out again he will mix bitter medicine in her food a couple of days later as she is sleeping she starts twitching Bart had come to see her and he thinks that she is having a nightmare he has been wanting to spend more time with her but he thinks that if he appears too forceful she will be wary of him that is
why he wants to give her time and space till she naturally feels that she belongs here he believes that she is just just like he was in the past and that is why he wants to help her gradually the next day as she wakes up she finds that Bart has left some gifts for her that include random items like some pretty herbs and seashells she really likes the gift and then suddenly she gets an idea about how to repay the Duke Daphne eagerly watches her do her thing and soon Cedric also comes there the two
of them see she making a seashell necklace using the Arab as the thread Daphne and Cedric clap for her and then Cedric tells her that it is time for her routine checkup she tells him to be quick because she has to go to Bart's office after this so that she can give this necklace to him she says that she wants to make one for Daphne Cedric and loia too but first she needs to give one to the Duke soon Daphne leads she to Bart but on the way she collides with someone and her necklace breaks
she is suddenly shocked to see the blonde man looking down on her because she can feel the presence of Mana in his body she realizes that this man looks like the Duke but quite cruel and cold the man doesn't leave too much for her to decipher as he says that came here because he heard he had a niece but she isn't really pleased to see him suddenly Losa comes in between them and tells the man to stay away from she but he gets Furious telling Losa to stop showing his animal like eyes to him the
man then decides to stop acting harsh because he wants to make a good impression on shei he introduces himself as cashian Von Ider but just then Bart arrives on the scene and tells him that he lost the Ider surname years ago cashian turns to Bart asking why he is treating him like a stranger when he is his brother and Bart reminds him that he has been exiled and he is not allowed to enter the family Mansion unless it is a special occasion cashian says that she is the special occasion because she is a new member
of their family suddenly he steps on the seashell and crushes it he tells Bart that he doesn't seem to be managing the estate well because there is trash everywhere this makes she Furious and when cashian offers to stay behind and look after the girl because she won't have any friends yet she speaks up saying she has plenty of friends cashian asks her about them and she says that the three people who came with her are her friends he laughs at her saying that they are not worthy of being her friends he tells her that there
are some people in this world who she shouldn't associate with and she just thanks him for telling more about himself she walks away with that telling her friends to follow her and cashian is left speechless by her wit just as they are out of sight Bart grabs cian's collar telling him that according to the rules even if he enters the Mansion because of an event he cannot stay longer than 24 hours however Ashan doesn't even pay attention to him because he is still thinking about how she turned his taunt onto himself on the other hand
she is really upset that cashian broke her shell necklace she punches a pillow thinking it is his face while her three friends watch her from outside the room soon Daphne goes to she and asks if she is still angry at cashian she affirms saying that she wants to hit him with the heavy hammer and Daphne Smiles menacingly saying that the next time they meet she will surely do that because she hates that jerk too after that she brings out breakfast for she and that has the regular porridge she eats daily however there is a mystery
box next to the porridge and she opens it to find some cookies inside she is really excited to try the cookies and she forgets about cashian after eating them that night as she is sleeping peacefully she suddenly sees light coming into her room she knows that Daphne shut the curtains before going and when she looks at the window she finds cashian outside she freaks out on seeing him and cashian asks her to open the window she tries to ignore him but cashian says that if he falls and dies people will spread rumors that Bart killed
his brother this startles she and even though she knows that nothing like that would happen she finds herself walking towards the window she tells cashian that if he tries to come inside she will scream and he promises that he doesn't want any trouble he says that he is just here to give her a gift that he could not during the day and then throws a crystal inside the room he tells her to play with the shiny gift and then takes his leave leaving she dumbfounded she immediately feels Mana in inside the stone and finds that
it has been unnaturally compacted in her previous life she had to deal with Mona Stones often and a stone that was so compacted and unstable could explode if a mage touched it she wonders why did cashian give this to her and then decides not to touch it she will ask Daphne to pick it up and get rid of it in the morning instead she then goes to bed but she is too angry at cashen to sleep the next morning she tells Daphne to get rid of the stone that cashen left here last night Daphne is
so stunned to hear it that she hugs she because she thinks cashen could have easily hurt her she asks she why she opened the window for him and she replies that he threatened the Duke Daphne tells him that Bart is really strong so she doesn't need to worry about him and from now on no matter who it is she should not open the window for anyone she doesn't understand why Daphne is so worried but she agrees never to open the window for cash in from now on with that Daphne goes outside to tell Loa what
happened last night and he comes running in he bows before she blaming himself for failing to to protect her she tries to tell him that it is fine since she didn't get hurt but he says that he will guard outside the window starting today she asks him how he plans to do that and he says he will hang from a tree she starts imagining it and then tells him that it is fine but loia is not ready to give up he asks she to permit close protection instead which means he will stay inside her room
to guard her she feels that it would be awkward and she would not be able to use magic properly but Losa thinks she is uncomfortable with Him He suggests that he can get another night to guard her but she tells him that she is completely fine with him later that day she begins talking with a chatty maid who asks her if she is curious about cashian she asks her if she likes cashian because she seems happy to be talking about him but the maid quickly refuses saying that even the thought of liking him makes her
sick turns out she is a fool who always stays happy for no reason she tells she to stay away from cashian because he is a dangerous man and then accidentally reveals that in the past decade the only children in the man Manion were Daphne's siblings the maid suddenly reacts like she said something she should not have and walks away to do her work just then Daphne comes there and she has already heard the conversation she looks really gloomy so she decides not to ask her any uncomfortable questions about her siblings in the meantime she decides
to gather more information about cashian and she approaches a knight named henz to learn about him the Knight tells her that evil and ominous things keep happening around cashian such as the Mis gathering around him and seaweeds withering when he approaches them she thinks that it must be because cashian is absorbing Mana from them and her doubts about him being a magician become stronger she then asks henz if cashian is athletic because he was outside her window last night henz is worried that cashian reached she's room and then tells her that ever since he was
a child the man was said to be agile and Nimble just then Bart comes there and affirms what heena just said he has received a report about what happened last night and he gives Losa a death stare for failing to do his duty she steps up to defend Loa and tells Bart that it is not his fault because cashian came from the window Bart is taken aback by this and says that if she is so insistent he will not punish Loa he then Pats she's head telling her to try harder to stay out of dangerous
situations from now on however he is not used to doing things like this so the head pad is awkward for him she and even Loa just then a soldier comes there to call Bart about some business with the Knights he begins heading away but she loudly asks him to wait she then pulls out a a shell necklace from her pocket and gives it to Bart saying that she was planning to give one to him the last time but cashian broke it so she had to make it again Bart tries wearing it but it is too
small to pass around his head and she starts feeling the failure crushing her hopes however Bart smiles and thanks her for the gift she is really happy about that and she keeps talking about how the Duke smiled at her all day she gives a necklace to Daphne and Loa too but she has two more left Daphne asks who she will give them to and she says one is for Cedric but she has no idea whom to give the last one that's all for this video hope you enjoyed it and if you did please leave a
