3.25 Frost Blades Warden League Start Build Guide

hey guys thanks for checking out my video it's time for the 3:25 Frost blades Warden build guide League starter guide there's going to be a PO in the description if you guys just want the PO it'll be down there in the description you can go download it and you know be on your way have a good time uh have fun in the league it's going to have a day one version a week one version and an endgame version I'll talk more about that later first I'm going to show you guys a mapping showcase to uh

what you can expect from frost blades okay now I can't show you footage from Warden because Warden doesn't exist all I can show you is what it looked like on the trickster before uh but the frost blades is an incredible mapper it's highly mobile it has great full screen clear full screen freeze that helps you stay alive uh the the explosions from Herald of Ice uh are insane if you get Fury valve that makes your mapping clear even more insane uh it's it's quick it's it feels good it's Snappy it's going to be more consistent

than ever now that totems are no longer required uh for the damage uh and it's just it's an allaround fantastic mapper and you can see you can move around quick blow stuff up kill bosses real quick you know once you have good damage and it can do pretty much all League mechanics there is if you do Expedition don't take cold immune obviously and stuff like that but it can do just about any League mechanic that you want to do it's gonna be just fine for it uh so there you go that's good enough I think

for mapping showcase I'm going to show you a bossing showcase this is from Uber Maven from uh Affliction League okay which the build was the same in Affliction league as it was last league for trickster warden's probably going to have more damage than this okay keep this in your mind warden's probably G to have even more damage than this endgame okay this is this is endgame bossing this is a Uber Maven 85 and this is just one of the phases here this was from trickster but one phase of of uber Maven bam she's gone you

see that I'll play it one more time this is a Uber Uber boss phase gone okay and warden's probably going to have more damage than that okay so what changed to 325 we lost the flat cold from frost blades but the effectiveness of damage was almost doubled totems are gone you don't need to use them anymore you don't need to anoint panopticon anymore uh we have rage as a multiplicative damage buff now uh which might be able to fit in the build on a lethal Pride I'll talk more about that later War Banner is now

a free reservation Gem and it's a 10% more damage cool down or so uh claw base crit got buffed to 1% so you're going to have the easier time crit capping than ever now uh Grace got nerfed but base defenses on gear got buffed a lot so the result is probably a wash for evasion uh and fist taken has Prett basically got deleted from the game except for on uniques so you're not going to have that anymore so you're going to have slightly less Fizz defense okay warning disclaimer guys I said this before every one

of my other guides Frost blades is not the best leveling skill it's not the fastest early scaling skill if you want to rush bosses or Rush Ubers or you know Rush a four stones in 10 hours don't play Frost blades pick something else okay but if you can tolerate getting through the beginning of the game especially act one to three which can be very very frustrating uh once you get to act four or so it takes off and you are absolutely screaming through the rest of the campaign uh so just gr your teeth through that

early part or just level with something else you don't have to level with frost blades okay here's some tips for getting the campaign though the leveling process on ra on Warden or or Ranger is going to be basically the same as it was in on trick store or any other build you don't have to use Frost blades guys uh you can use spectral throw splitting steel you might have to mule some of this stuff cuz Ranger doesn't get all all this stuff but you can use viper strike blade trap is extremely helpful for meril decoy

totem can be very helpful for Brutus Brutus is literally the hardest boss in the entire campaign guys uh so just use whatever you want don't have to use Frost blades for leveling okay here's some gems you get to make it easier when you're leveling Frost blink uh whirling blades faster attacks Herald device blood rage in act two get wrath and Le weakness in act three uh put on Trinity around that point your damage is going to take off once you get multistrike on you're absolutely screaming okay there's two main gearing swaps you do while you're

leveling first one is getting Trinity online which basically just means you need to get lightning damage somewhere and put wrath on and then uh put Trinity on your links and that's it and that your build your damage is going to be popping in the campaign here's some claws you can get okay just get Ellie damage Ellie damage on your claws preferably fire or lightning damage for Trinity if you get too much cold damage Trinity won't work uh but you can use just about any claw if you get attack speed that's a bonus craft Fizz on

it if you have an open uh if you already have lightning damage and you have an open prefix okay uh when you swap a crit put on Assassin's Mark instead of Ellie weakness and start getting crit nodes on the tree here there's crit nodes here here here and here okay and then once you get to Maps there's two more swaps you're going to do basically Grace and precision and then putting on heat shiver and getting rid of Trinity okay once you get to maps and you want to put Grace on to do that you're going

to have to have the Charisma wheel here and the new there's a new Mana reservation wheel over here which is very strong you need both of those things then you can fit Grace on the build okay that's the first swap you're going to do early and then once you have a heat shiver you're going to want to get rid of rat if you haven't already uh make sure you have hatred on and then you're going to get rid of Trinity because you're not going to be able to use Trinity anymore and then put back on

La damage attacks or added cold if you have a six link uh and make sure you have the full fist conversion Mastery from right here okay day one PB okay let's get into the PB pob is going to be in the description here it is if you look at this new feature here po has a new feature called loadouts up here and if you click here you can switch between there's a day one week one and high budget Loadout and that's going to swap the tree the skills and the items all at once for you

so here's the 85 day one tree uh the the gems are all in here uh what you can use the the most of the gems are like pretty set in stone the for coing strike and faster attacks here you you can swap between these two depending on what you're doing I would faster attacks while you're mapping if you do a pinnacle boss or you know hard hard boss content swap in coling strike here and then this here is you can pick any four of these gems you want this is your like flex flexible gems uh

War Banner Frost bomb uh Le weakness if we get additional curse from enchantments or something uh on an Arcus brand would be really cool Evol lightning strike to stack up shock Stacks uh from new Warden shock node uh any any of these gems okay so here's the day one gear a crap claw with nothing on it two mods most the rest of these items are three mods uh absolutely crap gear okay it's just a shell of gear for you to look at and uh even even at this state you're going to have a million damage

okay and this is on a four link on day one okay and then I'm going to show you what you do to ramp the damage up okay you get a six link bam now you're up to 2 million okay and then put on a taming as soon as you get your taming you're at 2.5 million get yourself a heat shiver as soon as you can now you're at 3.5 million get rid of the claw that has nothing on it and get a slightly better claw that has some attack speed and crit on it and now

you have almost 5 million damage just like that that's how easy it is and then the damage is just going to ramp to the Moon from there and uh you're going to have almost 100% suppression you're going to have decent res uh well you know before I swapped off all that stuff you're going to have decent chaos res almost cap suppression 83 84% chance to evade which is going to feel great while you're mapping if you want more life get more life guys okay and then change to week one and here's a bunch of stuff

you should shoot for for week one uh get yourself a lethal Pride as soon as you can to fix your strength uh and then come down here Vault packed is optional I'll talk more about that later uh but uh this is a level 95 tree for the week one tree uh the skill gems on the week one or the day one Loadout are all level 19 gems with zero quality the week one gems are 2020 gems uh that uh have no 21 gems no awakened gems yet or anything like that you're up to 16 million

damage on this setup uh gems are the same pretty much uh between the setups besides you know awaking gems and stuff and then High budget setup in here you've got level 2120 gems with awaken gems no awaken multistrike though uh and 100 million plus damage and this is all going to depend on the configs you can't change the configs between the two between the loadouts so you have to you have to change the configs kind of separately uh but once you have Max Scorch yeah you have Max shock Stacks if we're going to be able

to get those from defiled forces anoint which I'll talk more about later uh the more the more seconds you have a freeze buff on the on the enemy uh and uh if you have some rage uh ramped up from somewhere you can see the damage here is going to be absolutely nutty well up into 150 million territory we're talking insane damage okay so come through the PO look at the different sections look at different uh items and gear that you should shoot for uh it's all in here okay Week 1 pob here's the here's some

big priority upgrades here that you want you're going to want to get as soon as you can in the first week a six link heat shiver any lethal Pride for strength uh if you can get a good lethal Pride that's just a bonus start adding in your implicits additional strike Pierce brittle fortify on the chest CT multi on the chest uh get your gem quality very important especially on Assassin's Mark assassin's Mark is your number one priority for Gem quality so you can get power charges get suppress capped start getting chaos res make sure you

stay accuracy capped uh get accuracy on gloves is where I recommend it uh and then improve your flat get better attack speed better crit better evasion there uh notes section in the PB there is a whole bunch of stuff in here in the notes section okay read through this stuff there's notes about um there's there's links to my YouTube channel for crafting a crafting guide playlist that I have uh some wild card stuff about enchantments and curse on hit uh returning projectiles stuff here's some stuff about Warden and shock stacking and how you're going to

how shock ramping is going to work and some options for doing it some tattoo stuff that's important important notes about masteries and when to take them and when not to take them uh notes on damage notes on life uh anoint choices here uh importance of additional strikes and peers uh rage how you can get it how you can sustain it uh flas flas that you should use uh some alternative option stuff here that you can use uh if you want uh you know to tweak the build a little bit some luxury High budget stuff here

that you can add if you're a if you're a mirror tier billionaire uh and then some bait items okay do not use these items here and I kind of explained why they're bad uh some some dark marionette shenanigan stuff here that might might be viable Choice VA packed uh and some notes about implications about using VA packed why it's strong why it's weak uh tinctures are going to be extremely strong we think it's still kind of unclear how sustainable they're going to be but uh can't really say much about that yet CU you know there

we can't test them yet some more notes about leveling in here about how to get past Brutus some swaps to do stuff like that and on the bottom here some frequently asked questions about hardcore what can it do blah blah blah okay so read through this stuff guys there's lots of information here uh if you're a newer player especially uh most of the questions you have will probably be answered in this section here okay check it out Bandits this is the choice for Bandits now 15 res eight movement speed 40 life or one passive point

the other passive Point you're going to get for free now so the choice is much more compelling here I'm going to still kill all Bandits uh but if you want one of these other things I think it's a pretty reasonable choice for any of them now pause and read this for Pantheon you need to take Brian King until you get ailment immunity okay ailment immunity is going to be later uh and you're going to solve chill Immunity on boots by the way that's in the PO later on take Solaris and then for the minor one

uh get abrath if you're running xar Alters because ailment immunity does not protect you from burning ground and burning ground is annoying otherwi otherwise take ratha or Shakari maybe pause and read this for plus two strikes it's extremely important pause and read this get plus two strikes pause and read this for Pierce Pierce is also important for Clear speed pause and read this mapping strategy uh uh map mods that you can't run is Ellie reflect you're still going to kill yourself with frost blink even if you have awakened Ellie metal D with attacks okay uh

canot lee is annoying but doable canot regen is annoying but doable uh and then everything else is fine just keep in mind the the more damage mods you roll the more likely it is you're going to get one shot occasionally while you're mapping okay pause and read this how do I survive get all this stuff how do I get more damage uh just get better gear basically here's some stuff you know looking the pob on the high budget setup there's tons of stuff in there you can get to improve your character how is the Raider

or the not the Raider the warden different than trickster guys it's going to have way more damage and easier damage uh access basically you're not going to have frenzy charge uh Power charge quality of life duration like that they're going to stay up in between boss phases you're going to have to like ramp your damage up a little bit more you know in in between phases and stuff like that it's going to have slightly less defenses very slightly less okay tricker didn't have that much defense in the way I built it uh from the ascendency

that is okay that doesn't mean it's a not a defensive character okay from the ascendency here though uh Heart Stopper was the basically the only thing it had and it was a 50% uptime buff so you you don't have that and then you have to get ailment avoidance now because you don't have one step ahead anymore for for Freez and chill immunity but that's pretty easy to get additional resources on my channel there's uh fax video crafting guides for Stuff uh I'm going to do build updates as the league goes on uh there's some previous
