I'm sure you are familiar with a series of videos on my YouTube channel titled Speak English with Me. I received an incredible amount of positive reviews on those videos from people saying that they helped them significantly with their speaking skills. And here's what our practice will look like.
First, I'll perform the entire dialogue so that you have an example of how it should sound. Then the dialogue will be broken down into two parts for practice. In the first part, I'll start the dialogue by saying my lines and then you will see your lines on the screen.
You'll need to read your lines off the screen out loud as if we were conversing with each other. In the second part, we'll reverse the roles. Your line will come first, followed by mine.
Hi there. I need to return these pants. Hi, was there a problem with them?
They just didn't fit me right. And there's also a problem with the stitching. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
