again uh Logan was it yep right Logan okay yeah please welcome back the fabulous Lindsay LW really you know it's it's been a while since we've seen you you you like the last couple of years you've got got married you got a gorgeous baby boy how you been really good busy yes it looks you got these two holiday movies it's fantastic yeah speaking of let's talk about that um your Netflix holiday movie called our little secret which is really fun and so festive um it has a great cast with Kristen chenowith who we love she
was just here Tim Meadows who of course he's starten in my favorite me and girls movie um but it's about two exes who end up at the same house for Christmas this is your second holiday movie fall for Christmas loved it so what do you love about a holiday romcom and do you love holiday romcoms as much as us yes I do um I love it because it's a time of year where family comes together everyone gets to kind of cozy up watch a movie you want to feel good and to make movies that make
people laugh is really such a blessing it's it's you go to work and you get to have fun and I think that's important well you've been a busy busy girl haven't you but you also are the executive producer of this film yes you do a lot of things I like doing a lot of things yeah what type of projects it's I like having more control and the roles that I pick and on set and what the who the cast is going to be and and even where we're shooting the music for the movie and and
even choosing the director that's a really great thing to be able to do um so I like that side of it yeah well well that's good that you're the boss yeah I like that yeah sure she doesn't you've earned it you've earned it you've been in this business a long time um you know we've been having this debate here not on set but um offset about when it's appropriate to start decorating for Christmas um I started right after watching this movie I was like very very into it have you started um decorating for Christmas yet
I mean I didn't start because we left home and came here but right when we get back normally it's around Thanksgiving that you start right the day after Thanksgiving yeah but you gave me I don't know put you in the mood put me well I have to ask on behalf of all Millennials um in August you finished filming something that we've just cannot wait for the sequel to Freaky Friday with Jam Lee Curtis it's going to be called freier Friday what can you tell us about this highly anticipated sequel um I want to tell you
everything but I can't uh it's just been such a labor of love for us to get to do this and to come together and Jamie and I have been very close over the years and we were talking about it when I was pregnant is this going to happen when can we do it she's like well let's wait till after you give birth to the baby um and it's just a really fun movie it's really heartwarming and it's there's a lot of laughs there's a lot of more music in this freakier Friday um and I just
think it's it's very sentimental and and to kind of bring everyone back together our same producers and me and Jamie just felt it felt right the timing was right well Lindsay you've been working since you were young and you said that it took you a long time to learn how to say no which I understand this but what has given you the confidence over the years to be able to speak up for yourself and kind of draw those boundaries I think just age and growing up and you start to come into your own and and
taking space away from the industry I would say is a big thing for me I I really needed to I wanted to miss acting I wanted to miss doing what I love to do and I needed to find time to be me and start a life meet my husband have a kid have a real life so that there's there's somewhere to have some balance with work and life children make you grow up immediately oh yeah have to yeah yeah I wonder how it feels to be a mother it feels great you like it my son
is like my life it's just every morning I take a picture of him when he wakes up I have too many pictures but I want to see how he changes every day and um now is the really fun part cuz he's more active and running and babbling what's his name l l yeah beautiful thank you like Lou L yeah Lou Lou that's do you do you feel like uh people say your heart is now outside of your chest does it have that feeling there are moments of that feeling yeah I mean there's just so much
love and just everything he does is exciting every day and I want to just capture all of it that's wonderful wait till it turns 20 then I'm going then I'm going to become Christen chenwi withth in this movie yes you will you will become me no I'll be nice I'll be nice I'll be a cool mom that is great that is great now like Joyce like Joy just said um you've done so many things you you from acting to singing dancing producing what's next on your bucket list um if you had your choice and your
brothers to do something else um I think what I would like to do eventually when I find the right project and have that kind of time and D beir something oh really yeah because when I read scripts I realize myself that I'm so visual in the process of learning my roles and my character and and then I end up kind of directing being the director sometimes which isn't always a good thing but I really like that kind of control and set and I really want to be able to create something that I see and start
from the beginning so I think that would that would be a bucket list thing oh that'll happen you're a little young for a bucket list I mean we can all have bucket list there's no age minimum on a bucket list right you know it is so terrific to see you is just it's so nice to be here I watch your show you were here a while ago long I've been coming since I was really young yeah since you were a little one and so look come back anytime thank you and when you decide what you're
