God is doing great things! Can we give the Lord a clap offering. Amen. But if you can give me the timeline of what happened with our building, I'm going to give you just a short little recap of a time, for those of you who are brand new to HungryGen, we - we got this building when we had no papers. We got this building where we had no bank account. We didn't even exist in the eyes of IRS, only in the eyes of God. I think it was about $500 we had in our account - just
a few families, just came from the former Soviet Union - and we got this building, and this was about 20 something years ago. And you know, we own it debt-free. And as we started to grow, as we started to multiply, the Lord started to bring and add more people - kids getting saved and all that stuff. What started to happen is, some time ago, about five years ago, we started to pray about what does the Lord want us to do and start looking for places. And in 2021, on June 25th, we actually purchased a location
on Edison and Canal. It used to be a welfare - now it's really going to be a welfare. It's going to be the - it's going to help the welfare of spiritual needs of people. Amen. And so, not only that, but right after that, we had to get a lot next to it. And thank God it was for sale, because as you know, the parking space is usually the problem with all the churches. And so, we purchased a lot next to it, like within 6 months. So, in 2021, this year, we purchased the corner lot,
which is the photo that you just saw. So the building, the parking, and the corner lot - so we have, like, six different exits, probably in and out of the building now. And there's enough parking space that we could probably host about 2,000 people there. So, we won't be struggling with parking lots for a long time. Praise God! And it is very beautiful. As of now, today, those three properties are worth $5.6 million. We paid a down payment, which is about $1.5 million. We put a down payment for those properties. And then, three years ago,
we actually started the construction. And for three years now, the challenge with these properties is that they were used for something else. Few years, it took us just to destroy them, so we didn't start from scratch. We had to kind of demolish a lot of things that were going on there, and then raise the roof in that building. Most of you kind of know how we had to go through it. We have about eight beams that are 100 tons each. We had to raise each beam - that took a long time, a lot of engineering
- so we can make more space for two stories for our kids' ministry, so that we can fit more kids, about 400 kids, that we can fit in one service. That's going to be incredible! And so, that took us a while. And as of today, we already have spent $6.3 million on construction. Now, when I found that out from our accountants, I was like, "Where did we get the money?" And my second question was to Paul, "What did you spend money on?" I was like, "Man, you got to give me an account for!" And then,
when Paul starts going through that, and he starts saying how much money we were able to save because of, you know, this person donated this, this person donated this, we found another way to do that, that was less expensive... and it was just an incredible testament of the faithfulness of God. We've raised four million dollars just for the building, and the two million that we already spent came because the church is very generous - we tithe, we give, and our expenses are not high, so we're able to take the extra and put it toward the
building fund in the last three years. And it's just an incredible journey that we've been a part of. Now, what we are facing right now is a crazy challenge, because we still need four million to move in by next year. Now, that's scary for me! And right now, where we are at is that we are raising funds. And if you can show us this one, where does the four million will go is pretty much this, is the HVAC, the fire sprinklers, which are extremely, ridiculously expensive. And right now, we are believing, and this is what
I'm asking you to pray for, that the Lord's going to give us a favorable deal for HVAC and fire sprinklers, that will be able to fit in both of those under a million dollars. I know it's a crazy idea, but we have crazy faith. And so, we start making some calls as well, and those are the quotes we have. But we really believe that there is going to be a breakthrough that we can experience in these two areas. We are at the same time selling this building - some of you saw the "For Sale" sign.
So, we currently have a person that is interested - they're not buying yet, but they're interested. They saw the building three times, flew their board here. So, we believe that not only we are going to raise the money for the HVAC, and we have a crazy faith that it will cover our HVAC and fire sprinklers, but this building will sell, and this building will sell before we need to get out of this building, and we will have funds for the rest of the stuff, and God's going to take care of us, Amen! So, for those
of you who are first-time coming to church, and maybe you're like, "Man, pastor's talking about money!" Hey, this is - think about this: imagine me visiting your home, and you're just building a new home. You're going to pull out your plans, and it's not because you care about money - it's because it's a new home for you. You're excited about it, your whole family is excited about it. Your cousins are excited about it - no, they're not excited, they're actually annoyed by it, because you only talk about your house. But this is for us -
it's our home. Yes, we are a church - we're not a building, we're a body. But at the same time, we do gather in a place where we do our services, where we launch out people, and where we reach students. And that is important to us, and I do believe it's important to God. This week, some of you know that for HVAC, we already raised $500,000, and we still needed about $450. So, on Monday night, I received a text message from a person - that's not a part of our church here. This person is currently
in this building, but this person called and said, "Hey, I didn't even plan to give toward you guys' building, but something came upon my heart. Never done this before, I don't know what you want to do with it is I want to give $200,000 as a matching gift, meaning you guys raise it from now until the end of the year." I'm like, "Man, that's a lot of pressure, you know?" And part of me felt, "Hey, this is pressure." The other one is, it felt like, "You know what? This is not manipulation, this is motivation." So
I went into prayer. I've talked to some people in our church, and I said, "Should we take this?" And of course, they said, "Of course." And since Tuesday until this morning, already just for this matching gift, $97,000 came in. Come on church. In the next 16 days, I do believe the Lord's going to provide the rest of the funds. And so, I do believe the Lord already has those funds - they are in your bank accounts, I mean, in your neighbors. So this is what I'm going to ask you today: if you came to church,
most of you are aware of this information, because it was told in your small group. Some of you are not - I want to ask you to consider contributing toward this matching gift, because pretty much, you're multiplying your gift. Whatever you give toward that, just gets doubled. There are many of us - God has blessed us, our business - where we can give, and they won't even hurt. We can give cheerfully. There are some people in this room - you're in a very difficult spot right now, financially. And I want to ask you that you
pray about it, just pray for this. And honestly, maybe you know somebody who has some funds - call them and say, "Hey, would you consider helping my church?" I know this sounds awkward. We've had people doing that. For example, one person who's an atheist, not a Christian, doesn't come to our church - from my understanding, he's never been to our church. One of our guys called his contacts, said, "Hey, our church is going through this thing - would you consider giving?" And this lady said, "Absolutely!" And dropped off a check yesterday. Never been to church,
not a Christian - and says, "Absolutely!" And she's like, "If I sell the house, the house is for sale or something." She's like, "I'll even bring some of the proceeds from the house." Not even a Christian. So, during this season, some of you work for somebody who's like super loaded, or maybe your ex is super loaded, or I don't know - Uncle, Auntie. And just as a Christian, you can make a call and say, "Hey, if you're in one of those things, consider sending up a video that me and my wife did, where we asked
people to contribute and say, 'Hey, consider blessing our church.' It's good soil, and you get a nonprofit tax deduction at the end of the year. But most importantly, you make a difference, for this thing that is impacting our community for good, Amen" The Bible says, "You don't have because you don't ask." Just ask, throw it out there. I did the same thing with a few of my friends who are very successful on YouTube. Called them yesterday and I said, "Hey, our church is going through that - would you consider blessing?" And they're like, "You know,
kind of busy, but you know what? Put me down for $10,000. I'm going to bless your church as well." And so, you know, we're in a small community. We're not in somewhere like Seattle, Los Angeles, or New York, where a lot of super wealthy people are. We're just simple little people who are going to do great big things for God, Amen! Amen! So, we will do, after the message, we will do a special offering for those of you who have prepared your heart. And for those of you who are like, "Man, this is the first
time I hear it - I need to process this," completely fine. We still have 16 days. And so, you can sleep on it, and pray about it, and then just, you know, if the Lord moves upon your heart to contribute to that, you can, bring it to the church, or bring it next Sunday, or the Sunday after that. It's totally okay. Would you go with me right now to Isaiah, chapter 54, and verses 1. And I'm going to share with you a word that I received for our church for this week, and this especially has
to do with where we're at right now - both financially, spiritually - where we're at as a church, with what's happening with campuses, with what's happening with schools, with what's happening right now with our media. Just kind of... this actually happened yesterday - we reached 800,000 subscribers on YouTube as a church. That means that when we upload things, we reach 800,000 potential people. That's something to shout about! From a little old Tri-Cities, Pasco, the Lord is making a difference all around the world - thousands locally, millions globally. Isaiah 54:1: "Sing, O barren, you who have
not borne. Break forth into singing, and cry out loud, you who have not labored with child. For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman," says the Lord. In verse two: "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare. Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. And you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate places or, cities inhabited." Verse four: "Do not fear, for you will not be
ashamed. Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame. For you will forget the shame of your youth, and you will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name, and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. He is called the God of the whole earth." Now, this is worth shouting about! That's a scripture that speaks life. Pretty much, the background of this is God is speaking to Israel, and for women at those days, when they didn't have children and they
were barren, it was a very shameful thing. There was an embarrassment. You were not viewed in a positive light, unlike the culture we live in today. And the Lord is speaking here through the prophet Isaiah, and He pretty much tells this barren woman, who is mocked, looked down upon, and He says, "Break out and sing! Start shouting!" He says, "Because something is about to happen to you." And then He says to this barren woman, who doesn't have any children, He says, "Enlarge your tents!" He says, "I want you to strengthen your cords, stretch your cords.
I want you to strengthen your pegs, like these tent pegs in the ground, because you're about to have a lot of children. You're about to have a lot of descendants." And then He says, "You will expand to the right, to the left." He says, "Now, you didn't have children, but you will have so many children that they will inhabit nations and cities." And then He says, "Don't be afraid. You will not be put to shame. Don't be afraid. You will no longer be disgraced." And He finishes with why all of this is going to happen.
He's like, "You didn't have a husband. I am your husband. I am the one." How many of you know a husband means a protector and a provider? Meaning, "I'm going to provide for you. I will protect you, and I got you." I want to share with you a few thoughts. If you're taking notes, write this down. Number one: you must stretch your curtains when God starts enlarging your tent. You must stretch your curtains when God starts enlarging your tent. Church, our first Sanctuary, second Sanctuary - everybody in YouTube and Facebook, listen to me carefully. The
Lord started to enlarge the tent of HungryGeneration. The Lord started to bring souls, and yes, it was not an empty place. Prayers, intercessions, fastings, believing, sowing seeds - have been the backbone for years. We've declared that we will see thousands locally saved, millions globally saved. There were many years where many of you were not even a part of our church, where on the busiest highways of our street, we would stop on the red light and throw flyers in people's cars to invite them to church. That was illegal, but we were passionate. Going to the mall
and trying to evangelize to anybody and everybody, and getting kicked out - it was also sort of illegal, but man, we were passionate! The parks is the only place that never kicked us out. We would go to schools and wouldn't have a breakthrough for a while, and then, about 10 years ago, something just broke through on our youth nights, on Wednesday nights, where we started to see kids getting saved, where people from the gym, from the coffee shops, started coming, and we've been having this thing where every week, we see somebody give their life to
Jesus. God's been bringing souls. We're not barren. God is expanding our tent, and it's not comfortable, because you have to get stretched. Somebody say, "Get stretched!" See, when God is expanding you, you have to stretch. I remember the first time we had to stretch to two services. It was a stretch. Now, we're getting ready to stretch again to three services. It's not comfortable. You know, we just had a son in my family, me and my wife, and this was about 9 months ago, and I can tell you, having a child stretches you. It really stretches
your sleep. You learn how to live on a few hours of sleep and function as a sane person. You know, every woman that gives birth to a child has stretch marks, because the stretching has to happen. You cannot be expanded without being stretched. And a lot of us have been asking God, "Expand my tent. God, bless my family. God, bless my children." But I have to tell you, it will cost you something. And this is what's going to cost you: it's going to stretch your faith. And there are some of us in here today, our
faith is dormant, and we have dreams from God, but our faith is currently dormant. And the verse that I want to share with you is in Matthew 12:13, and He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand," and he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. See, faith is like a rubber band. It lies dormant until it's stretched. Before God does a miracle in your life, sometimes He will stretch out your faith. You will stretch into the supernatural. You will stretch into the new season of your life. But other people,
God is doing something that requires you now to stretch your faith. And maybe you're coming to HungryGen church, and maybe you're a part of churches that were dormant and kind of like, bit complacent, and it was comfortable. It was predictable. They didn't plan new campuses every few months. There were no campaigns, not reaching new schools every few months. And you're used to that, and you're comfortable. And maybe your faith has been dormant, because you never had to give, you never had to fast, you never had to press in. You're kind of like, "Hey, I just
came in, sat there, did my check mark, and left." But I want to tell you something: God is enlarging our tent, which requires you and I stretching our courts, stretching our curtains. We stretch, we stretch our giving, we stretch our prayers. Next month, we're stretching ourselves in fasting. Why? We're not trying to break, no... we're just stretching. Come on, somebody! How many of you know if you start working out without stretching, you can get hurt? If you want God to do something through you, but you say, "God, I do not want to be stretched," whatever
God does, you might not be able to maintain it. It might be too much, because you were not stretched previously. And I'm not saying to do something radical, crazy, ridiculous, out of your mind. I'm saying, when the Spirit leads, when God guides, and begins to stretch you, just a little bit, that you don't freak out, but you're like a rubber band. You're not going to snap when God stretches you. You're just going to be a person that is no longer going to be dormant, and that withered hand is going to become as whole as the
other, because you got stretched. Come on, somebody! Pastor Bryson is being stretched, going to a new territory is stretching. It is comfortable to be on what he is doing today. When Pastor Ilya moved to Everett, it was a stretch. When the person that is promised, "Hey, I'm going to give $200,000," that was a stretch. It's a huge stretch. When some of us will respond to that and say, "You know what? Me and my family, we will contribute to this," or "Me and my family will start coming to the 8:00 service here in a few weeks,"
it's going to be a little stretch. And I want to tell you something: get comfortable being stretched, because you're in a church where God is moving, where there is momentum, the tents are being stretched, the tents are being enlarged, which means our faith has to be stretched. The second thing I want you to write down and that is this: you must strengthen your stakes when you stretch your curtains. Because, in here, not only the Lord says to this barren woman, "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch out your curtains," but He says this: "Then strengthen
your stakes, strengthen your tent pegs, strengthen the things that hold your tent," because you got a bigger tent, and that's awesome. The way you set up a tent, if you ever set up a tent, you buy this little box where the tent is compressed inside, it's folded. The way you set up a tent is, you have to stretch it, and one of the stretchings, what you do when you set up a tent, is you stretch the tent. The tent is not fully set up until you strengthen it with stakes. You got to put it in
the ground, so that the wind doesn't blow it, so that it won't just roll away with the wind. And in here, we see the Lord is saying, "Your tent is going to get bigger, it needs to be stretched," but He says, "You need to strengthen your stakes." It's very important what I'm about to share with you. When God starts expanding you, expanding us, we become stretched, but we also have to be strengthened. Why? Every time God takes you to a new season, it adds a new stress. When your season changes at work, when your season
changes in life, you go from being a teenager to being an adult, you go to school, it adds more stress to your life. You have bills, responsibilities. You get married, more stress. I don't care who you marry, you're going to have a little bit more stress. Even Apostle Paul says, "More trouble in the flesh." And you thought this was hard, wait until you get bambinos... I mean, children! It just adds more stress, while it's joyful, it's also stressful. And then you're like, "Man, God's going to give me a business. I'm not going to work for
anybody, 9 to 5. I'm going to be my own boss." Well, what they didn't tell you is how stressful that is, because if you don't find a job, you don't have a job. So that adds stress. Then God starts expanding your business, which means now you get employees, more stress, payrolls, and insurances, and everything. And so, what it does is, it adds a lot of stress to people's lives. The same way, as this is, if you get a very large building, it puts a lot of weight on the foundation. It's normal. Meeting with one person
this week, and he was telling me about the transitions that were happening in his life. As his finances started to grow, his job just became very stressful. And he would say, "I would come home, and I would be under so much stress. I would be just kind of shutting down." And then, "I would, you know, feel like I'm not connected. I'm not present with my family." And then, all this stress caused me to start drinking, because I was trying to desensitize, just numb myself, kind of disappear from all this stress. And he said something that
I had to correct him on. And he said, "I wish I would just quit my job and be a normal person." I said, "Listen, that's a victim mentality. God didn't bless you so that you say, 'No, I don't want to be blessed by God, entrusted by God. I just don't want to do anything.'" I said, "Your challenge is your tent is bigger than the strength of your stakes." See, just because God expands you, God says you need to strengthen your stakes. Most of us, this is our problem. Listen to me, in the second Sanctuary, this
is our challenge. When God begins to expand us, and it brings more stress, this is the prayer we pray: "God, remove all the stress." No, the Lord is saying, "Strengthen your stakes." The Bible says, "Those who wait upon the Lord, He renews their strength." The Bible doesn't say, "He removes their stress." He wants to strengthen your stakes, so that the new assignment that you have, you can carry that assignment without stressing out, but because you are strong in the Lord. Paul says, in Ephesians chapter 6, "Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of
His might." David strengthened himself in the Lord, his God. And then, God spoke to David, "You need more strength for the new season that you are in." The bottle is not going to give you the strength. Vaping will not give you the strength. Porn is not going to give you the strength. It's a Delilah. It will take your strength. You come home exhausted and tired. Listen, the television is not going to give you strength. It will just numb you. It's like a Tylenol. It doesn't solve the problem. It numbs the symptoms, but if you find
your strength in God, that's why Paul says, people who praise in a tongue edify, build themselves up. When you build yourself up in the Lord, your God, you strengthen your stakes. So, as your tent is getting bigger, responsibilities are getting bigger, bills are piling up, stress is piling up. And instead of saying, "God, take away all the stress," which means God will have to take away your wife, your children, your job, your boss, and ultimately take you. I'm not talking about anxiety. I'm talking about stress that comes from living a life where you have responsibilities.
I'm talking about when you grow in responsibilities, but you don't grow deeper in a dependence on the Holy Spirit for your strength. Am I saying to pray more? No. Am I saying to read the Bible more? That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, switch your mentality. Don't think like a victim. "Oh God, take away this. Oh God, take away this." No, no, no. Think like a victor. "Lord, strengthen my stakes. Give me the strength to match the demands of this season. Give me the strength to match the demand of my complaining wife. I
mean, give me the strength to match the demands of my new job. Give me the strength, Lord, to match the demands of what is happening in my house with my husband." Give me the strength, Amen! When God starts expanding, you got to start stretching. When you start stretching, with it comes stress. What do you do? You strengthen your stakes. You get stronger in God, which means you stop the victim mentality. That somehow, and this is the lie, God will never give you what you can't handle. The lie from the pit of hell. God will always
give you more than what you can handle. Why? Because He expects you to trust in Him. The Bible says, "You will not have more than you can handle." The Bible says, "He will not have more temptation." But when it comes to trials, why did Paul many times would say even it was so much struggle, so much pain, that I thought I despaired of life. I don't think I would handle it. Why do people take their life if they could have handled it? They couldn't. This idea, "God will never give me more than I can handle,"
it is not biblical. God will never give you what He cannot handle with you. In fact, He will allow things that only you and Him can handle together. And that's why, when you don't strengthen your stakes, you end up bearing all of that weight by yourself and wondering, "Am I out of the will of God?" No, no, no. God will entrust you with what you and Him can handle. That's why His yoke is easy, His burden is light. God expects me to be yoked together with Him. God expects me to not lean on my understanding,
but put my trust in God. He expects me to get on my knee and say, "God, this is hard for me, but this is not hard for You, Lord. This is impossible for me, but it's easy for You, Lord. I trust in You, Lord. My heart is overwhelmed, but I look to You. You're the rock, Lord, You're my hiding place. Lord, You're my safe refuge. Lord, You lift the horn of my salvation, Lord. Why are you disquieted, oh my soul? Within me, trust in the Lord, for I will yet praise Him. I will yet worship
God." Maybe you have children, they have disabilities. Maybe you have something that is challenging at work right now, a relationship crisis, and it's just stressing you out. The devil will always offer you a numbing mechanism. Don't take that. Strengthen your stakes instead. "This too shall pass," but in the process, you'll get stronger. You'll get stronger through Christ, Amen. The third thing that I want to highlight, and that is this: God wants to take us from enlargement to expansion. Have you noticed how He starts with verse two, "Enlarge your tent," and verse three, He talks about
expanding to the right and to the left, and nations, and cities? Enlarging is when my tent is bigger. Expansion is, my territory is bigger. Enlarging is my tent is getting bigger, but expansion is the territory to the right, to the left. Your descendants are inheriting nations, and you're filling desolate cities. Not only tents are getting bigger, but cities are getting filled, left and right. Descendants are going into the nations. See, what I am looking right now at, what God is doing at HungryGen, what I'm looking, looking, what God is doing in our lives, He is
not just expanding our church, He actually wants to enlarge His kingdom in our city. He wants to enlarge His kingdom in our schools, and He doesn't only just want to enlarge His kingdom in our schools, He wants to have your children, and my children, and our inheritance to begin to inherit nations. Not just your house, not just inherit your car, not just inherit your last name. He wants them to inherit God's purpose for your life, your children's life, and your great-grandchildren's lives. Nations and cities, because some of us will go to cities where people will
say, "Churches die in that city." But in here, I hear the Lord say that, "You will make desolate places filled. You will make desolate places inhabited." Come on, somebody! You go to schools, and people say, "Well, in these schools, nobody will hear about Jesus. You're in Washington state. We're a liberal state. This stuff is just not allowed in the schools." But see, it's not a limit to God. He's not just wanting to expand our church, enlarge our church. He wants to expand His kingdom. A revival in the church must become a reformation in the society.
If the church is experiencing revival, but our schools are not impacted, my friend, it's only our tent is getting bigger. But God wants the territory to get larger, the territory of His kingdom. God wants to establish dominion in Tri-Cities, that His kingdom is advancing forward, that it's normal for people to hear about Jesus, that it's in the malls, in the stores, that people experience the kingdom of God, not just in the church. The church is just a gas station. You get fueled up here. This is not your destination. Destination is where you and I live,
where the kingdom of God is expanded. There is room for your children. Your descendants will inherit the nations. There is room for the cities, like small little towns around Tri-Cities, and Tri-Cities to be places that are not desolate anymore, but filled with the kingdom of God. And lastly, God is the source of whatever resource you are lacking. God is saying, "Don't be afraid, for you will not be ashamed," which means, in this season, faith will burst forth in praise, not in panic. In this season, faith will trust in God's truth above what appears to be
true. Faith may feel fear, but it doesn't feed it. Fear will feed on your personal failures of yesterday. Fear feeds on the three-course meal: people's opinions about you as an appetizer, your circumstances as the main course, and your feelings as a dessert served by the Devil himself. Don't take the fear meal. The appetizer, what people said about you, the label they put on you. The main meal, your current circumstances, as real as they are, as true as your circumstances are, they're not always the truth, because tomorrow they can change. You didn't always have those circumstances.
They're not the truth. They are true, but they're not the truth. And then you got the appetizer, and the appetizer is how you're feeling today. "I'm feeling down today. Let me eat that for dessert." All while the devil is walking around, serving you, destroying your faith. And the Lord says to this woman, who was barren, "He says, don't be afraid. You're not going to fail. You're not going to be embarrassed." I know that you have a shame of your youthful years, meaning maybe you've tried something before, and it didn't happen. You had a relationship, and
it didn't work out. And the enemy will use the failures of the past to begin to feed your fear today, and say, "Next year is going to be worse. You're not going to make it. You're going to embarrass yourself. This thing that you're going to do, God is not going to see you through." And I'm here to remind you to have faith. I'm here to remind you, do not lean into your fears. I'm here to remind you, is that you may feel fear, don't feed it. You may walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, but fear no evil, for His rod and staff comfort you. "Mary, don't be afraid," the angel said. "Shepherds, don't be afraid." The Christmas story, God comes to Joseph, "Don't be afraid to take Mary." Mary, don't be afraid, you will give birth to a Savior. Shepherds, don't be afraid, because a great news is given to you. Really, the Christmas message is, "Don't be afraid." Emmanuel, God is with us, He's with you, don't be afraid. You will not be put to shame, don't be afraid. You will not be disgraced. How? Why? And this is the word
that I was reading this week, this last portion, "For your maker is your husband." And I was like, it's kind of weird, Lord, you're my husband, I get it, we have the intimacy, we're like a family, but I was saying, what does this mean? Not being afraid of my future, stretch out, expand, do all of this stuff, like, how does that practically mean? And then it hit me, who is a husband to a wife? Provider and protector. In other words, the Lord is saying, through this verse, to each one of us, "I am taking the
load for your provision. I am the source of whatever resource you're lacking." A wife, though she cares about finances, but in the general way, the weight lies on the husband's shoulders. He is the provider, he is the protector. And the Lord says, in this relationship, I want to let you know, you don't have to live in fear, because I provide. I am your husband, I got your needs. I know what you need. I care about you. Maybe you've never had a husband that provided for you. God, the husband, He says, "The maker of heaven is
your husband, the Holy One of Israel, the Lord of hosts," meaning He has an army. "The maker of the whole earth," He is going to provide for you. But where is my funds going to come? Where is the business breakthrough going to come? Where is that going to come? See, the thing is, this is, you can rest in knowing, God got you. He'll provide for you, and He will take care of you. And I also, this is a verse from me, God is the husband for our new building, that's His problem. And I can go
to sleep, and I said, "Lord, you're staying up anyway, you worry about it. Don't stay up and worry, let God stay up and worry," because He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, which means He has the whole night. You go to sleep, and you rest, not because you don't care, but because you trust. When Jesus slept in the storm, it's not because He didn't care, the disciples would drown, it's because He trusted. The one who walks on water is in the boat. Jesus is His name. God will provide for you. God will take
care of your family. Listen to me, a single mom, you have a husband, His name is the Lord of hosts. Listen to me, an orphan, maybe you've never had a dad in your life who provided, to care of you, and guided you. You came to a community of believers, where other men will step in, but none of them will be ever as close as the presence of Jehovah. He will be a father you've never had. I want to encourage you, in this season, for next year, to keep your head up, not because Donald Trump is
coming back to the White House, but because the maker of heaven is your husband. He will provide for you. He will protect you, and He will guide you. He will take care of our church, that 4 million dollar thing, that's a big number for us. For God, He has a whole book called Numbers, not a big number for God, Amen. God will take care of us. God will take care of our youth. God will take care of our kids, and God will take care of our families, and He will take care of our businesses, and
He will take care of our future. He will take care of our Everett campus, and He will take care of our Spokane campus. He will take care of Pastor Ilya. He will take care of Pastor Bryson, and He will take care of Pastor Vlad, but He will take care of you as well. Your maker is your husband. Lean on Him and say, "Lord, you got me. I trust in you. Provide for me." This doesn't mean you play video games 24/7. No, you go to work. You do everything that you can. You stretch your tense. You
stretch your curtains. You enlarge your tents. You strengthen your peg. You do everything in your way, and make sure you sing right in the middle of that, because in the beginning, He says, "Sing out loud," meaning I walk around, I rejoice in God. He's got me. I trust in Him. I don't lean into fear. Do I feel fear? Oh, you bet I do. I don't feed my fears. I feed my faith, because even though I look back and I see some things in my life that has been hard and difficult, but honestly, if I really
look back, I can also see a lot of good things that God has done. Cuz you always find what you're looking for. If you're looking for the reason that God abandoned you in your past, you'll find it. But if you're looking for the reason to praise God in your past, you'll also find it. And I want to encourage you to remember the good things that God has done. Remember how faithful He has been. Remember how He has delivered you. Feed your faith every single day. Sing to God. Praise Him. Turn on some worship music. Get
together with Christian believers. Call your brother and your sister. Go to a small group. Why? Because feed your faith. God's got you. God's got you. He's expanding your family. Maybe He just found out your wife is pregnant. Maybe He just found out you have another kid on the way, and you were not planning for it, and you're scared and nervous, cuz you're like, "I don't know how I can afford it." The maker is your husband. You're like, "But I am the husband." Well, He says to you, husband, "I am your husband." I don't know how
that works, but I know He's my provider, and therefore, I will not lean on my understanding. I will trust in the Lord, my God, and He will guide my steps and guard my way. I want you to rise, in the first and second Sanctuary, whatever stress, anxiety, you've been going through in this season, fear not, He got you. Feed your faith. That's why you're here. You're feeding your faith. You're refocusing your focus on Jesus, and God is giving you His promise. He's not promising nothing bad will ever happen. He just promises, whatever happens, He's right
with you, and He will get you through, and it will always end the way He intends it to end. And God is a good God. Amen. As you're standing, if you have a Bible, I want us to come to a moment, right now. We will pray for our special offering. And if you don't have a Bible, I just want you to look at the scripture above, and we're going to get ready to give. For those of you who came prepared, and for those of you who are going to consider doing that. Paul says to the
church in Corinth, but I say to you, "He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver." And then verse 8, "God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work." I want you to notice, that each one of us can give, as we purpose in our heart. Sometimes we give, because God strongly
presses it on the heart, you kind of know that impression, prompting. Sometimes people say, "God told me," and what they mean is, that there was an impression. But in here, Paul says, you can give, because you purpose in your heart. You can be actually mature enough to choose, look at your finances, and say, "You know what? God has blessed me. I can give this amount." But did God tell you? He doesn't always have to tell you to do the right thing. Sometimes, it's just part of maturity. You purpose in your heart. But what we don't
do, is we don't give out of manipulation. We don't give out of pressure, and we don't give grudgingly. And in our church, we don't do that kind of stuff, because it's a voluntary giving. It is not pressure. We don't make you promises, and we also don't pressure, manipulate, scare people. We say this: God loves a cheerful giver. If you're a grumpy giver, either lower the number of your giving, or raise it up. Do something, so that you give cheerfully. Now, some like, "The only way I'm going to be cheerful is if I don't give." Well,
God doesn't say He loves cheerful person, cheerful giver. So, you do have to give, but you can give in a grumpy way, so that's not going to work. So, there's two combos: giving and cheerfulness. So, combine those two. Not happiness, because you're not going to be happy giving anything. We're only happy when we get it. But joy is when I know this pleases God. I know I'm a part of a family where something is happening, and my faith is being stretched. So, whatever you already had in your heart to do today, to give, I'm going
to pray for that. For those of you who are still going to pray about it, I'm going to pray also, that God will lead you. And then, what we're going to do is this, is the worship team will sing a chorus. You can give through writing a check to HungryGen, make a memo, HVAC, or you can use the QR code there, and it goes directly for those of you who give on your phone, like I do, mostly. You can give directly through that to that fund. And I believe the Lord is going to take care
of us. Most importantly, He will take care of this work. But we will take a part, and be stretched in the process. We can participate in the second sanctuary as well. Let's pray together. Father, I thank you for this day. I thank you, you've expanded our tents. You are stretching our curtains. You're enlarging the territory of your kingdom through our church. Lord, we thank you, that you are our source. You're our provider, not our jobs, not our businesses, not our intellect, not our experience, and not our connections. Lord, we acknowledge today, you are our provider.
Lord, I especially pray for men in this room, who feel the weight of providing for their family, and this word is hard for them to embrace, because they can't let that weight go to somebody else. They feel the responsibility for that. I pray that you will become today their provider, that they will give that weight to you, and that they will walk more in trusting you. Lord, as we prepared our hearts today to contribute toward this, we give it not grudgingly, we give it not out of necessity, we give it not out of manipulation, or
out of pressure. We give, because we purpose in our hearts. We do want to see this project completed, and we want to participate in this, through our giving, so that we can see our own lives, as you said in here, "He who sows sparingly reaps sparingly, but he who sows abundantly will reap." Lord, may 2025 be a year of reaping the seeds we've sown today, in our families, in our businesses, in our jobs, and in our schools. In Jesus' name, as we give today, we trust in you to provide for us, for our future, and
for our families, in the name of Jesus. And right now, I want to take a moment, for those of you who have something to bring to the Lord. We're going to put a basket at the altar, in both sanctuaries. You can bring it forward, or you can give it on your phone, as the worship team sings a song. And then, we're going to give a call to salvation, in just a moment. So, don't leave yet, but if whatever you have prepared in your heart, you can bring it forward. Just lay it before the Lord. For
those of us who give on our phones, you can give it on your phone, and just kind of remain in that attitude of prayer. Say, "Lord, I trust in you. I give you my needs. I rely on you, right now." Those of you watching us online, you can just click on the link right now, hungrygen.com/hvac, and say, "Hey, I'm taking part in this." You don't have to be part of HungryGen to do that. You can do this straight from where you are at. Many of you have been watching our ministry, being encouraged, and so today
is a moment we want to invite you to take a part in what we are doing together in the church.
