welcome acolytes of a galaxy far far away and welcome back to the channel in the main star wars mythos we are mostly focused on the ancient order of the jedi and the great empire of the sith with these two factions of the force being at war since around the year 7000 bby although these wars ebb and flow they never seem to totally cease because of this focus the jedi and the sith are usually seen as the pinnacles of all things force related however there exists a great many different organizations all across the galaxy that worship
and use the force very differently than the jedi or the sith and in today's video we will be stepping away from these two main factions and going through as many organizations of the force as we can find specifically today the light side hopefully documenting all the ones that we know about both in canon as well as in legends continuity again to make this a bit more cohesive we'll be splitting this video into two parts the light side organizations in the dark side with the neutral and or other outliers sprinkled in between so without further ado
let us begin with those that worship the light side of the force but were not jedi the first organization that we will talk about today is known as the baron dew sages the baron dew live on the planet of kaldor kaldor being the same planet where plow koon originally comes from in fact in legends continuity plokun actually revisits his homeworld and trains with the baron dew sages which is where he learned most of his deeper connections to the force the baron du sages were proficient in precognition able to warn their city officials of whenever the
frequently violent storms of caldor would be blowing in not only this but their wisdom in the force was that that allowed them to eventually become the head of kaldor society as they were worshiped and looked upon as priest-like figures with their precognitive abilities they were also able to prevent catastrophes and wars altogether the barandu philosophy and methodology centered on finding inner peace and calm and growing closer to the force by heeding it the sages counseled against rash action and spent a great deal of their time in meditation contemplating the mysteries of the force itself many
confused the sage's emphasis on meditation and contemplation for apathy and reluctance to act but in actuality they were merely waiting for the precise perfect moment in order to act as was dictated to them by the force itself having said this they were by no means militant like the jedi order they didn't wield lightsabers or really any weapons besides their training staffs however they were not entirely defenseless as they had mastered the ways of white lightning which is most likely a variant of electric judgment the jedi order very often recruited members of their order into the
jedi which would eventually lead to the destruction of the baron dew at the hands of the empire as the empire deemed them too similar to the jedi and therefore too much of a threat next up we have an organization known as the church of the force the church of the force began as an underground faith whose followers believed in the ideals of the jedi order in simplest terms the church was basically a non-force sensitive equivalent to the jedi they formed after the rise of the empire and believed that one day the jedi would return to
the galaxy to bring balance and justice they had set up the temple of the khyber in the holy city of the planet of jeddah we most often got a glimpse of the church of the force thanks to characters such as chirrut and rogue one they were a simple people and the old man killed by kylo ren in the beginning of the force awakens was named lorson tekka and was in fact a part of this church of the force in service of luke it is highly likely that mass canada might have also been affiliated with this
church of the force as well continuing on there is the dagoyan masters the dagoian masters are an interesting case as they are force sensitive but don't adhere to the light nor the dark side and don't ever use their powers in the force at all believing that objectifying it was perverse this makes them a unique group as again they had the ability to touch and use the force and yet refused to do so the group even labelled the jedi as kidnappers after mistakingly believing that they had inducted a group of barbaton children against their will the
degorian masters practice meditation and connection with the force exclusively not using combat in the slightest and only wishing to use the force for educational purposes the degorian tradition was widely practiced by the broadatan people who aspired to find a personal connection with the force albordatins received an education at a dagoyan school and meditation was a part of a citizen's life serving the planet as artisans and sculptors the average forgotten was encouraged to practice the tenets of the order but participation was completely voluntary and not considered an obligation as they were not forced to join the
order much like the barren deuce ages they too governed their people in a certain way the governing council of the planet known as the bok tov council was comprised of both the droian masters and the people who observed the degoying tradition these groups were made of mystics who mostly lived in monasteries like monks throughout their world the next group that we would like to discuss today is known as the falanasi a religious order of the white currant the falanasi were force adepts skilled in the use of projection illusions as well as concealment but avoided the
use of powers that manipulated the physical world such as telekinesis like the witches of dathomir the falanasi were almost exclusively women and hartley trained any men in legends the falanasi were originally native to the planet of leptazek but went into hiding after refusing to pledge loyalty to emperor palpatine luke skywalker canonically used the falanasi's method of projection during his battle against kylo ren in star wars the last jedi as they were the originators and creators of the ability the group had mastered using the force to create a projection of themselves that could appear anywhere in
the galaxy this technique was chronicled by ancient jedi masters in the sacred texts in which they described it and named it simil for tourists the technique required the user to pour their life essence into the cosmic force this is likely why luke skywalker died immediately following this complex ability not to mention the strain of using such an ability after being cut off from the force for so long next up we have the guardians of the wills and the disciples of the wills also known as the guardians of the kyber temple these would have been the
church of the forces equivalent to their own jedi knights during the reign of the empire of course the guardians of the wills have existed prior to the battle of naboo mostly stationed on the planet of jedha the guardians of the will spearheaded some of the rebellion on the planet of jeddah during the reign of the empire we are introduced to one of the guardians of the wills in the form of chihuahua imwe and bei's balbus in rogue one as part of the spiritual progression a guardian traditionally had to construct a lightbow this was important to
the group and similar to crafting a lightsaber the crafting process itself required the guardian attained the necessary skill to combine handcrafted artisanry with technology their beliefs included preaching about the force they preferred to sense the force as a presence while the disciples of the wills preferred to listen and try to understand the will of the force they believed that both the light and the dark side of the force were valuable noting that for the light to exist there must also be a dark side and through the force there must be balance the disciples of the
wills as stated were much more passive and were the keepers of the journal of the wills for a very long time the next group of the light side is a bit more controversial these would be the order of aspectu we only learn a little bit of the order of aspectu in the vader comic series and it is dictated to us by dr akra ordu aspektu was a splinter group of the jedi order that was thought to have existed long before the galactic civil war until they met their doom at the hands of the orthodox jedi
various accounts said that their headquarters were located in the citadel of rohr and one of their leading members was known as ruhr at some point either as part of the original intent of building or through ulterior additions the ordu spekdu used the great temple to build up a massasi on yavin 4 to store data including a map room giving directions to the citadel of rohr ruhr himself was the leader of the order of a spectoo and the one who was spearheading the separation from the jedi according to one account ordu aspekdu was a violence loathing
jedi sec that sought to selflessly prolong life for all believing that the jedi were too violent when all the orthodox jedi raided the fortress the order with spectoo were forced to activate a device that seemingly caused them to disappear perhaps ascending to a higher form of existence although they sound like they should be hailed as true jedi knights another version of probable events differs from this and states that the ordu spektu had kidnapped jedi padawan learners whom they callously sacrificed in an attempt to gain immortality and ultimately gaining it for our final group of light
side organizations any players of the jedi fallen order will recognize these immediately the zepho sages the zepho sages were force-sensitive zepho who wielded the force which they referred to as the life wind by the imperial era the sages were extinct along with their entire zepho species the three sages were ilram kujat and muktrail each of these sages had a tomb the tomb of ilram was an underground structure and was a proving ground and training facility for the sages to study the life wind before ultimately becoming his resting place the sage mukhrul resided in a large
temple where he asked for offerings from the zepho people when he died this too became his resting place however not all of these sages were in the light side instead of thriving and researching the force on zepho like the other two sages kujat established their power on the planet of dathomir kujet became consumed by the darkness of the planet promising power and control over the life wind making one of the first separations between the light and the dark side of the force in the ancient star wars era well friends that concludes this list of all
the non-jedi lightside force organizations but what did you think of these in their different viewpoints do you believe that any of them had superior views to the jedi themselves let us know in the comments down below again we will be making a video based entirely around dark side organizations that were not the sith so stay tuned for that as always my friends may the force be with you and we hope that you have a great day [Music] [Music] you
