now Mom and supermodel Jazelle bunin she spent some time with our Robin talking about life love and food and then they cooked up a recipe from her new cookbook it's called nourish take a [Music] look Belle thank you thank you for allowing us in your kitchen your new book nourish tell us about it I really wanted to share ways of nourishing ourselves so the book is a recipe book but it's really a lifestyle it's about like how I live my life and all the things that help me nourish you know my health and and feel
good so basically this whole book talks about how to prep how to get organized so you can always have something ready easy to go I like this dish right here and this is one of them this is one of the go and this is how I chose the recipes by the way because there were so many and I was like there's so many delicious foods I mean I love got to be simple got to be simple and easy this is chicken pesto lettuce wrap is a great way of eating like a salad but like super
quick like your hands right first of all you have the breast of chicken and what are these ingredients oh these are all the things we're going to make the pesto with we have olive oil we have garlic we have parmesan we have pine nuts we have salt and pepper okay and basil so you take all of these babies and you put it in here and you blend it all together and you have your pesto and the good thing about the pesto you can use for your pasta you can you can use pesto and pretty much
it tastes I love pesto so that's the pesto right there done and then really you can choose whatever ever vegetable you like I just happen to hear now we have zucchini we have carrots we have mic we have Micro greens but if your kid doesn't like carrots maybe they like other you know whatever you can you can really this whole thing about the book because my kids like different things like for example Vivi loves the chicken she's like my meat eater Benny likes mushrooms so I also make these with mushrooms there's no like you know
a size fits all everyone has different taste so the idea for this is that people can really yeah have whatever they [Music] like how do you make it yeah so what you're going to do is you're going to mix the pesto with the chicken inside here and it's going to look like that so now you have your chicken pesto what a base right and then now you can put whatever it is whatever it is that you like you guys really little veggies your little cot this so good for you little extra pistol so here you
have tell me M that is so good isn't it good it's so easy it's light it's clean you see and you can do it with chicken you can do it with whatever you like that is delicious okay before we go what is the one thing you want folks to know about nourish sometimes people think eating healthy is like they have to sacrifice something you know I don't feel like eating this way is sacrificing anything I feel like it's like it tastes delicious but it's also super nutritious it's just a a way of learning how to
