uh this is Tina yeah hello Tina hi hi Tina and now you said you are have a bad breath problem and this has been going on a long time 15 years yeah 15 to 20 years now um and you know um I just don't know how to go about it it's you know it's really irritating and embarrassing um and I just want to ask the doctors I've also suffered from acid for 15 to 20 years and would that be connected acid is tell me reflux yeah it can be absolutely so the most common cause of
bad breath is oral hygiene and seeing your dentist and dental hygienist is always a good idea but that you mentioned the acid reflux it certainly could be a cause so often people with acid reflux have problems with the sphincter so the the muscle uh within the esophagus and it's not tight enough so it's allowing acid up and when it's allowing acid up it can also be allowing food up and it's meaning that the the progress of the food through the stomach and out is not quite as good as it should be so you can develop
things like bad breath or halosis and I know that you're on a medication to help suppress the acid but you're you're saying it's not working um so I would say suggest the next step is popping down to your GP to get maybe a camera test down the throat to see what's going on within your um within the gullet and and the stomach and seeing if there's anything else have you ever have you ever had that Tina I've not no it doesn't sound very nice but I'm sure if it cures find out the problem exactly and
you can be slightly sedated with it so you should notice too much hopefully um that what's going on and it we'll at least find out the problem and if there's anything underlying it that's causing all that acid uh thank thank you tin thank you
