When Ray steps back into the dungeon, he makes one thing clear. He still can't drain the skull demon yet. So instead, he hunts the imps first. One slash, one steel, and an ice needle skill is his. Then he turns the screaming creature into charcoal with a fireball. The second impes fear until the skull demon simply resummons it, forcing Ry to kill it again and again just to earn enough levels to survive. But the real turning Point comes when Ray hits level 30 and unlocks skill synthesis. In one risky move, he fuses an ice needle with
a fireball and creates a brand new attack, a fire lance. It tears into the skull demon's mana barrier, lets Ray break through, and with a single punch, he finally steals the demon's own defenses, then steals extreme body enhancement right after the skull demon falls. A huge green mana stone drops. Ray jumps to level 33 in one day. But not long Ago, he wasn't like this. Kurasaki Kai, a dual color prodigy known as the purple king. In his shadow stands his older brother, our MC Ray, completely colorless and magically inert. Ray clings to Hope as a
porter in his brother's party until they confront a dungeon boss, Kronos, the god of time and space. With a wave of his hand, Kronos effortlessly annihilates the entire party, including Kai. Cornered and facing certain death, Ray's Desperation unlocks a sealed forbidden power, Skill Drain. In a final defiant act, he steals Kronos's own reality warping ability. Rewind. The surge of power fueled by panic and regret doesn't just rewind a moment, but sends Ry himself through time. He awakens years in the past. Armed with the stolen power of a god and a burning resolve. This time, he
will master his own destiny. Ry is utterly shocked, and when he looks through the window, he realizes Something more shocking. The inverted castle is still white, which was supposed to be pitch black. Apparently, the inverted castle was pure white until 7 years ago, but it gradually started becoming black. And when it turned completely dark, the door that unleashed Kronos opened. Suddenly, it dawns on him that he actually stole the rewind ability from Kronos to send himself back to the past. He picks up his phone to confirm the exact date, and he realizes That he has
gone back 7 years. Curious, Ray opens his status window to see his skill list, and shockingly, the rewind skill is gone. But the ability skill drain still remains. Even though the rewind is gone, Rey is still happy with what he has left because for 10 years, all he wanted was just a single skill. And since he has the skill drain, he feels fulfilled. Just then, the reminder on his phone comes on, reminding him that the very day is the mage exam. Ray Then heads to the mage association HQ that oversees the affairs of mages and
dungeon conquests. He steps into the seemingly new headquarters, and before he can even get a breath of fresh air, he hears some dude call him colorless from behind. He turns around to see that the dudes are Goto and O and they are both his brother's subordinates. They were also the ones who died in Kronos's room. Goto and O make fun of Ray for coming to the headquarters to take the Mage exam yet again. They tell him that his efforts are basically pointless because no matter how many times he takes the test, he will always remain
colorless. In truth, this is not the first time that Rey has taken the mage exam. But he kept taking the exam over and over again because he refused to give up. Not ready to play around with them, he slaps their hands away, telling them to leave him. Momentarily, he finds himself in the examiner's office where He meets the examiner, Hinata Reiner, a B-rank mage. Even Hinata is tired of seeing Rey, and she tells him that he will eventually get himself killed if he continues trying. Rey assures Hinata that this time around would be different from
the other times. Hinata has no choice but to accompany Ry to the exam venue, and since he has taken the exam loads of times, he needs no explanation. Apparently, he is to collect three mana stones from goblins to pass the exam. For those who have awakened a skill, this is usually no difficult task, but Ry has always been struggling with it. It turns out that a shocking event also happened that very day. A terrifying monster appeared in the level one dungeon, which is not supposed to be there. Just as Ry was expecting, the said monster
showed up in the distance, looking all menacing. The monster turns out to be a red cap goblin, which is a level 37 monster. Hinata is shocked when She sees this, leaving her to question why something so dangerous is present in the dungeon. Hinata whips out her sword, telling Ry to run so she can protect him. However, Rey knows that the level difference is just overwhelming. Before he regressed, Hinata lost against the monster because she was fighting to make sure that Rey could get to safety. Hinata got so beaten up that she was forced to retire
as a mage. Ry blamed himself because Hinata's career as a Mage was completely trashed because of his incompetence. However, this time around, Ry is prepared to switch things around. Ray pulls his shortsord, and as the monster dashes toward him, he throws the shortsord at it. Apparently, the monster has a skill that enhances its physical abilities, and just as Ray expected, the monster easily deflects the sword. The monster continues its advance toward Ry, and Ray punches it hard on the head. This pisses off the Monster, and just as it is about to punish Ry for his
stupidity, Ray's power steals the body enhancement skill from the monster, ultimately improving Ray's physical stats. The goblin stands in shock, wondering why it feels so powerless and useless. While it is still trying to piece things together, Ry easily cuts the monster in half from the head down. Hinata is stunned when she realizes that Ry just defeated a red cap with just a single strike. Rey, on the Other hand, is amazed by his ability, the skill drain, because of how impressive it is. He is lost in happiness when Hinata jeers him back to reality, asking him
how he was able to defeat the monster. Realizing that it might be bad for him to say he has black skills, Ry tells Hinata that it was nothing more than a coincidence. Hinata is screaming at Ry to stop lying when she realizes that the exam is supposed to be cancelled because an abnormal Monster has just appeared in the dungeon. Hinata tells Ry that the event has to be reported to the headquarters. Rey is worried about himself and he reminds Hinata that he still has two more mana stones to collect. But Hinata screams at him, telling
him that he is in the wrong situation to be thinking about monestones because it is dangerous. Just as fate would have it, two regular goblins appear in the distance, and Ray quickly takes them Down by slicing their heads off. This further shocks Hinata, leaving her mouth open. Ry then picks up the mana stones that the goblins dropped, asking the lady if he is allowed to take them. Hinata is just too stunned to answer his question and momentarily they return to the headquarters. Not long after this, Hinata shows up with Ray's mage license. He has been
officially given the mage status and he is placed in C rank. Ray picks up the license and lets off a Little smile because it took him just long enough to reach where he currently is. Hinata also shows him the details regarding the exchange of monos that he collected. Apparently, monessones are a valuable energy source that doesn't emit CO2. In addition to being an energy source, it can be sold to the association. Ray believes that defeating the red cap monster, which is a rank, will give him decent pay. He checks out the payment details and he
almost Screams out in shock because of the enormous amount there. For defeating the goblins, he is getting 1,000, but the red cap alone gives him 3 million. Hinata urges him not to lose his mind yet because he defeated a red cap. Rey is still surprised because he never knew that mages earn a lot of money, and Hinata tells him that he can even get more. This makes him curious and he asks Hinata about the dungeons. After his discussion with Hinata, Ray heads to a C-rank dungeon that has been reserved for him. Ry is left in
awe because in the past he could not enter a dungeon solo. However, with his new power, he is convinced that he can change the future. Just as he is about to step into the dungeon, he is suddenly grabbed by a skill known as manahand. Ry turns around in frustration and to his surprise, he is being held down by Goto and Oink. Oke and Gooto make fun of him for trying to enter a dungeon solo, telling him that It is against the rules. With a scornful face, Ry tells the two that he is allowed because he
has passed the mage examination. The two are surprised to hear this and they assume that he is a chronic liar. Godo then walks up to Ry and pushes his head down with the mana hand, telling him to show his skills if he has truly awakened. Apparently, the mana hand is a skill that compresses mana itself into physical property. Even with the extreme body enhancement, Ry Realizes that he can't actually break free. However, he is not one to give up under tough situations and he angrily headbutts Godo. Godo stumbles backward and at the same time Ry
steals his mana hand skill because he now possesses the mana hand, the one placed on him by Goto is ultimately disabled. An overwhelming blue aura emanates from his body, shocking Gooto and Oink. Ry wastes no time putting the mana hand into use by grabbing Gooto with it, forcing him to Admit that Rey is truly unawwakened. Oke refuses to give Ry his flowers and decides to attack him with a fireball. Ray activates the enhancement skill and uses it to cut down the fire attack, shocking O. He's trying to fathom what just happened when Ray reaches him
with a blow that sends him across the room. Go is shocked to see that Ray can also use body enhancement. And while writhing in pain, O asks Ry if he is now a dual-colored mage. Ry simply says no, And just then his drain skill also steals O's fireball, basically adding one more color to his skill list. Oik's jaw almost drops when he sees this because he has never seen or heard of a mage with three colors. Ry shows him how dangerous he is by shooting a fireball at him, causing him to almost piss his pants.
Ry then asks them if they are still willing to fight, but the two stare at each other in fear before running off with their tail between Their legs. After they are gone, Ry figures out that Kai won't be happy if he later finds out about what just happened. Basically, he was Kai's lap dog, and if he learns that Ry has awakened his skill, he will definitely show up to crush him. Kai has already reached an impressive level 50, making him one of the strongest mages in the modern era. In addition to Kai, Ry figures out
that he has to be worried about the scary dungeon that will open Soon enough to prepare himself for future problems. Rey knows that he has to raise his level as much as he can, and he steps into the dungeon. Apparently, level is the foundation of strength, and leveling up lets a mage learn new skills that increase one's total mana pool. This also increases the amount of mana that a mage can control at once. Ray is strolling in the dungeon when he is suddenly ambushed by a level 38 flame wizard. Surrounding the wizard Are several fireballs,
leaving Ray terrified because he can only manage to create one fireball. The wizard is able to do this thanks to the enormous difference in levels. The wizard hurls his fireballs at Ry, and even though he is able to block just one, Ry is forced to change positions to dodge the other fireballs. Ry figures out that he can't defeat the monster headon. But there is one thing that doesn't change. This is the fact that after using a skill, there Is always an opening, and Rey doesn't waste this opportunity as he dashes toward the wizard at great
speed. Even though the opening is just two seconds, the wizard becomes totally powerless. In that moment, Ry is able to punch the wizard so hard that he is sent flying while also stealing his fireball skill in the process. The wizard finds himself on his ars and when he tries to unleash his attack, he realizes that he has become powerless. Ray then gives him a Taste of his own medicine by hurling five fireballs at him, overwhelming him with a huge firepower that completely destroys him. Once the wizard is killed, Ry is hit with notifications telling him
that he has leveled up. He realizes that defeating higher level monsters gives a ton of experience points. Even though it is quite difficult to take on higher ranked monsters, Ray figures out that the skill drain ability gives him an edge. Ray checks his status window to See that he has climbed up to level 12. With this, Ray sets a standard of level 30 for himself. He starts cutting through the dungeon, annihilating monsters left and right. In no time, Ray reaches level 27, but he realizes that he is already slowing down because leveling up is getting
tougher. Ray figures out that to reach level 30, he would have to defeat higher level opponents. Ray then heads to the deepest part of the dungeon where he finds the Boss room. Ray is glad to have found this since it is the perfect thing he needs. Ray flings the door open and when he steps into the room, he finds two level 30 imps and a level 45 skull demon. Ry is cautious the moment he sees this, but he figures out that stealing their techniques will help him gain the edge. Ry dashes toward the skull demon,
aiming to land a hit on it. But to his surprise, there is a mana barrier surrounding the monster, preventing him From activating his skill drain. The skull demon makes things harder by charging towards Ry, almost ripping his head off, but he manages to dodge it. With the sudden burst of energy from the monster, Ry figures out that he would have to do something pretty useful to defeat the monster. Since he doesn't have the power to drain the skull demon yet, he goes after the imps. He cuts down one of the imps, stealing the ice needle
skill from it before turning it Into barbecue with a fireball. The other imp watches his friend turn into fire decorations, but is too scared to make a move. Now in possession of the ice needle, Ray turns his attention to the skull demon and hits with the ice needle attack, ultimately crushing his mana barrier. However, the defeated imp is immediately resumed thanks to the skull demon's power. Even though it is extra stress for Rey, he is not complaining because defeating the imps will give him Experience points, and it is just what he needs. He takes down
the imp again, granting him another level upgrade. Because of the recent level upgrade, the amount of mana he can control also increases. In addition, he unlocks a new ability, skill synthesis. Ray is relieved when he sees this because it is exactly what he wants. He wastes no time combining the ice needle with the fireball using the newly acquired skill synthesis. The red and blue skills merge Together, creating a fire lance that Ry shoots toward the skull demon. The skull demon puts up its mana barrier as usual, but the fire lance weakens it, giving Ry the
chance to break through and reach him with his punch. By hitting the skull demon, he is able to steal the mana barrier from him. But he doesn't stop there. He also steals the extreme body enhancement, leaving the skull demon totally confused and powerless. Ray then ruthlessly finishes off the skull demon By pushing a fire lance into its chest to engulf it in fire. A large green mana stone drops from taking out the skull demon and he also jumps from level 28 to level 33. Ray heaves a sigh of relief after defeating the tough monster thanks
to the skill synthesis ability. Apparently, it is an advanced technique that is meant to create even more powerful skills and it is available from around level 30. This was what Ry was hoping for and he is glad that he could Pull it off just in time. Rey is enjoying his winner's moment when the system informs him that he met the level requirement and the number of skills he can retain via the skill drain has increased. His skill slots have jumped from three to five and Ray smiles because he knows that things are just going to
get easier for him. After he is done checking out everything he needs to, he steps out of the dungeon and heads to the headquarters to submit the Green monstone. Hinata is blown away when she realizes that Ry defeated a skull demon and has even reached level 33 in just a day. Ray smiles nervously, claiming that he only got lucky. But Hinata lets him know that it is unheard of to go past level 30 in just a single day. Hinata lets him know that with his current level, he can even become a B-rank mage. Just then,
Ry hears a familiar voice echoing behind, and with it comes a terrifying aura. The voice is None other than his brother, Kai, and Kai believes that there is a mistake because there is no way Ry is B- rank. Kai further adds that Ry is a colorless dude who has no talent whatsoever. Hinata defends Ry, saying he actually defeated a red cap and the skull demon. The moment Kai hears this, he loses it and immediately attacks Rey. He throws a powerful punch straight at his chest. Kai easily blocks it with the newly acquired monogard while smiling
at him And telling him to be careful. With Ray's ability to block his punch, Kai finally believes the rumor that his brother has awakened with skills. However, Kai is not all that impressed and he urges Ry to watch his back because he would like to see just how capable he is. Hinata notices that Kai is acting all careless, forcing her to ask him if he is gearing up for a fight. Kai claims that there will be no issue if Ry is truly B rank, like they claim He is, unless he is just a false mage
who sneaked his way to B rank. Ray figures out that rejecting Kai's demands will only set him up for future embarrassments and trouble. Ray then decides to accept Kai's challenge, and this shocks Kai, but at the same time pisses him off. The two then head to the headquarters arena to settle their differences. Ray figures out that he has to be cautious about the amount of mana that he can control at once since he is Going up against an opponent stronger than him. Ry also knows that he has to stay on guard at all times since
his max combo is three basic skills while that of Kai is five skills. With these numbers alone, Ry is pretty sure that he is going to lose against him if he tries to fight him headon. To make it fair, Ry figures out that he has to bring in something special. Once they are ready to fight, Ry attacks with the ice needles and Kai responds with fireballs. The two attacks clash in the middle, leaving a loud explosion and a cloud of dust. This blinds Kai's vision, and before he knows it, Ray reaches him with the body
enhancement, shocking him. Kai is surprised to see that his brother is now a dual color wielder. On the other hand, Ry is trying to calculate the number of skill mana left for Kai to use since he has used one already. As he moves closer to Kai, he activates the skill synthesis to create the fire Lance. Kai is surprised to see this, but it basically lets him know that his brother can now use three color skills. However, he is not worried one bit about it. Just as Ray is about to reach him, Kai welcomes him with
a powerful fireball that destroys Ray's fire lance before sending him to the ground. Ray's face lights up in horror because his fire lance, which took two skills worth of mana to use, was easily taken out with just a simple skill. Kai mocks his Brother, telling him that he might be able to use three skill colors, but he can't compare to him because he is on a totally different level. To properly put Ry in his place, Kai shoots deadly fireballs at him. Ry is forced to run around to try and dodge the fireballs while also creating
a fire lance. He shoots the fire lance at Kai, but Kai responds with his usual, the fireball. Kai's fireball breaks through and heads straight for Ry, but he immediately puts Up a mana barrier. However, the mana barrier cannot compare to Kai's power and it shatters, sending Ry to the ground yet again. With Ry on the ground, Kai walks toward him, telling him to bow his head in respect and he would forget about everything that has happened so far. He wants Ry to admit that he is trash compared to him. Deep down, Ry knows that he
can't win against Kai with his little moves and output, but he is not willing to give up because he would Continue living like a slave. Determined to make his own name, he gets on his feet, screaming at Kai to tell him that he will never bow to him. Kai is pissed when he sees this and he tells Ry that he might just have to kill him. Kai immediately activates the overlock skill, which consumes a large amount of mana but doubles the amount of mana that can be controlled at once. With the overlock in place, Kai
is able to conjure several fireballs, and he Confidently tells Ry that he is about to witness the power of a king, a 10 combo attack. Ray is gripped with fear when he sees this because he recognizes the power since it is Kai's ultimate move. Basically, he is one person who can use a considerable amount of mana when compared to those on his level. However, this is something Rey has been betting on and has been expecting Kai to use. Rey leaps toward Kai, and Kai makes fun of him, asking him if he thinks he can Dodge
his attack midair. Ry finds himself contending against a bunch of fireballs, but he activates the mana hand, shocking Kai because he wasn't expecting another skill. Ray knows that no matter how powerful Kai is, he is bound by a cool down. He manages to dodge the fireballs and he reaches Kai just in time. Kai is on his cooldown period when Ray reaches him and he punches him in the face. Ray's punch is so heavy that it sends Kai across the Arena and by punching him, Ray also manages to steal his overlock skill. Ry is pleased with
the outcome since he was able to steal the overlock skill too. Ry believes that he has won the fight, but Kai gets back on his feet with a disfigured face, threatening to kill Rey. Just then, Kai pulls out the demon lance skill, shocking Ry since he wasn't expecting Kai to have learned the skill yet. Apparently, it is Kai's greatest skill, which makes it completely Dangerous. Ry watches as the lance comes straight at him, but before it can hit, Ry manages to get out of the way. Ry is forced to admit that the speed of the
lance is something else. Ray finally realizes that he was only able to land a hit on Kai because he was being careless. But things have changed now that Kai has gotten really serious. Ray finds himself running around the arena because the strength level between him and Kai has skyrocketed. Even with the Destruction he has caused to the arena, Kai is nowhere near done. Ry tries to fight back with his fire lance, but Kai overpowers his skill with the demon lance. The wave from the explosion sends Ray straight into the wall, and he screams as he
hits the wall. Kai makes fun of him, saying this is exactly why he is called the purple king. Ry has no choice but to admit that Kai is actually right because his demon lance is one of the strongest. Kai stands above Rey yet Again, telling him not to get cocky just because he can use several skills. Ry admits that he is no match for Kai in his current state, but it suddenly dawns on him that the game is going to change if he can find the potential of the purple skill. Before the fight, the limit
to his synthesis is two colors, but Ray totally changes the game up by activating the overlock skill. Kai is shocked when he sees his brother tap into the overlock skill as if it is Nothing. Because of the overlock, his mana capacity automatically increases and he unlocks the skill synthesis. Ry smiles when he figures out that he has hit the jackpot, but Kai is worried because he doesn't know what sinister plan that he is cooking up. Just then, Ry does something that no one has ever done before, and this is combining three colors together. Ray adds
the red skill to the blue skill and tops it all up with the yellow skill, ultimately Turning it into black mana, leaving Kai's mouth a gape. Basically, the mana colors available are red, yellow, and blue. Ray has always been told that he doesn't have an affinity for these three colors, but unknown to them, they are all wrong. Ray is a totally different and rare breed because he is a dark mage unheard of in the history of mages. With the combination of the three colors, Ry creates the abyss flame that looks really deadly. Fear grips Kai
and he Frantically launches a demon lance at Ray, screaming at him to stay away. Ry spots the lance and throws the abyss fireball at it, crushing it in an instant. Once the demon lance is out of the way, Ry runs toward Kai as he prepares another ball of fire. Kai is unwilling to give up and he summons another giant demon lance in preparation for Kai's attack. Kai launches his demon lance and Ray meets it halfway with the fireball. Ray's fireball overwhelms and Consumes the demon lance, leaving a big explosion that knocks Kai out. Rey cannot
believe his eyes as he falls to the ground in amazement that he has finally defeated Kai. The system notification pops on, telling him that he has acquired the Abyss Flame, all thanks to the skill synthesis. Moments later, Hinata walks up to Ray in complete shock, asking him what type of skill he just used. Rey is already worried about this because he knows that He can't keep hiding his skill and strength forever. Ry acts like a cool dude and showcases his skill, saying it appears to be a black skill. It sends a wave of shock through
Hinata's body since Rey is the first black skill user. Rey then asks her if he is obligated to report the nature of his skill to the association because he would like to keep it a secret between them. Hinata is surprised to hear this and she tells Ry that he is missing an opportunity. Ry Wonders what opportunity he might be missing and Hinata reminds him that the strongest mage in each color is always given the title of a king which basically means he is the black king since there is no one else. Ry gives it a
deep thought and even though the offer is tempting, he tells Hinata that he doesn't want it at the time. Rey knows he is still weak, which doesn't fit a king. Just then, he remembers that his brother is still passed out in the arena And he asks Hinata if he will be okay. Hinata lets him know that Kai is one of the kings and he is sure to recover soon even though he is critically injured. Nonetheless, Hinata plans to take him to the medical room. Suddenly, they get an emergency notification on the phone, and when he
checks it, he realizes that a dungeon has appeared in the western entrance of Ikabukuro Park, and the recommended mage level to enter is 70. Hinata is shocked when she sees this, But Ry was already expecting it because he knew it had happened in his past life. It is a level 70 dungeon when most of the kings are still in level 50. And in the first week of the dungeon's appearance, the kings realize just how weak they were. Because of this, they abandoned the Ikabukuro dungeon. But unknown to them, it is the starting point of a
tragedy. Apparently, the dungeon suffered a dungeon collapse because a dungeon is expected to be Conquered within a time frame or else the monsters will come rushing out. Ikabukuro Dungeon was the first of the dungeons where the dungeon outbreak happened. The appearance of the monsters resulted in so many deaths, leaving the city of Tokyo overwhelmed with monsters. In return, a lot of people died because of the terrifying number of monsters that raided the streets. However, Rey is prepared to stop the tragedy from happening all over again, no matter what It takes. Hinata almost loses her balance
when Rey tells her his plan to conquer the dungeon. Hinata tries telling him how dangerous the dungeon is, even if he is quite strong. In addition to this, only A-rank mages are allowed to enter the dungeon because the recommendation level is way above 50. Since there is a bit of time before the dungeon outbreak, Ry confirms if the A- rank promotion exam is still next week, and Hinata says yes. Since this is the Case, Rey tells Hinata his plan to rise to A rank by the time he takes the next examination. Hinata is further surprised
when she hears this, but she can't deny the fact that Rey can actually pass the exam with his skills. However, she sounds like there is a problem, and Rey asks her what it is. Hinata then tells him that to take an A- rank promotion test, he has to clear a B-rank dungeon with a party first. This basically means he has to form a party in one and clear A B- rank dungeon. And Rey has completely forgotten this. Ry checks his phone and all he sees are trash messages about people telling him that there is no
way they will form a party with him. Since he has to clear a B- rank dungeon before the week runs out, Rey knows he is in a difficult position because it is hard to clear solo. Rey is left racking his brain, thinking of what he can do to get out of his sticky situation. Just then, he hears some mages scolding their Colleague for being so weak. This gets to Rey, who remembers that he was always treated like trash, just like the outcast. Apparently, the girl's name is Ichino A, and her colleagues are not even holding
back in calling her a dead weight. The moment Ry hears Ya's name, he remembers something quite important. It turns out that Ya would be known as the Scarlet King in the future, but she is still known as an incompetent mage in the current time. Even though she is Weak, Rey is disappointed that her party members are treating her like trash. A tried telling her team members that she can't afford to be kicked out of the party because she won't be able to foot her sister's medical bills. She promises to do better the next time they
enter a dungeon, and the party leader tells her that she will be waiting to see what she can do during their raid for that very day. She lets Ya know that she's definitely off the team if she messes Up, and Ya nervously agrees to this. Ya and her team then step out to take on a dungeon, but Rey is worried that things might not go well. Ry knows that Ya became the Scarlet King in the years to come, but she suffered loads of hardships before then. Ry remembers that it was around this time that she
was involved in a certain incident. Apparently, she was critically injured during a boss battle and she went into a coma for years. Suddenly, it dawns on Ry That the incident might be that very day. Even though Rey is not sure about it, he could see that Ya was acting really weird. To prevent something crazy from happening to her, Ry decides that he needs to step in. Meanwhile, Ya and her team have encountered the dungeon boss Dahan, a level 45 monster. Suddenly, the party leader does something extremely crazy, and she pushes Ya into the monster's range
so she can use her as bait. She tells Ya to Fight the monster all by herself, and Ya tries reminding her that she can't win against the monster alone. The party leader then tells Ya that she will be kicked out if she can't take on the boss monster by herself. Ya is pushed into a corner by the party leader's demand, but she believes that she has no choice since everything she is doing is for her sister's sake. The party watches in amusement as Ya walks toward the boss and hurls a fireball at it. Ya's Fireball
hits the target, but the monster doesn't move an inch from where it is. Ya freaks out when she realizes that her strike was useless against the monster. Suddenly, the Doahan leaps toward her, ready to smash her to death with its big sword. The sword hits right in front of her, causing a big wave that shatters the ground and sends her crashing to the ground, totally at the monster's mercy. The monster is about to finish her off when Rey appears on the Scene. And with the help of his extreme body enhancement, he blocks the monster's attack.
Ya is shocked when she sees a savior appear right in front of her, preventing her from dying. Ry puts all of his strength into repelling the attack and he pushes the monster backward. Ya is left in awe and Ry turns around to make sure that she is fine. Ya's party members are not happy that someone out of nowhere showed up to ruin their plan. They know that Doahan is a Scary monster with terrifying weight, but Ry pushed it away like it was nothing. Just then, Doahan gets back on its feet and lets off a loud
roar that hits every corner of the room. Ry is not surprised that the monster is still alive because the Dullahan's armor is obviously enhanced with a strengthening skill which makes regular attacks completely useless against it. Since this is the case, Ray decides to steal the skill and nullify it. Ray risks Everything and leaps toward the monster to try and touch it. He manages to touch the monster and he activates the skill drain, but to his surprise, the skill refuses to come on. Ry is forced to jump backwards before he is sliced in half by the
monster. Ry returns to where Ya is and she asks him if he is fine. Ry lets her know that he is good because he managed to block the monster's attack with his sword. Ry finally figures out that Dullahan's armor is its external Part. And to get the skill drain to work, he has to touch the internal part of its body. Just then, Doahan smashes its sword on the ground, releasing a massive energy blast from it. Ray raises his mana barrier and screams at Ya to stay behind him so she doesn't get hit. Ray's mana barrier
successfully blocks the incoming attack, but the wave from the attack sends the party members flying around like papers. Only the party leader remains standing and she Angrily launches an ice lance at the monster. Surprisingly, Doahan blocks the attack and retaliates with a counterattack that the lady couldn't dodge. She finds herself getting thrown into a wall. Since the ice lance was useless against Dahan, Ry figures out that he needs a skill that is beyond the monster's strengthening skill. Ry resorts to using his abyss flame, and he wastes no time cooking up a black fireball, shocking ya.
Ray hurls the Black flame directly at the monster and Dahan also sends its energy wave in Ray's way. The two attacks meet halfway, but Ray's flame is just too powerful and it overwhelms Doahan's energy blast. The black flame reaches Doahan before it even gets the chance to do anything and it is engulfed in fire. Ray restricts the monster's movements with the monahand to make sure that the black flame does its job. This is enough to burn through whatever armor Strengthening skill that Doahan has, and it crumbles to dust from the overwhelming power of the black
flame. With the Doahhan dead, it drops a large green mona stone. But Ya is more concerned about the amazing power that Ry possesses. She is completely impressed with how he was able to take down the monster with just one hit, and she nervously thanks Ry for saving her life. Ry smiles while telling the girl that he is just glad that she is fine. Deep down, Rey is really happy that he managed to save Ya from dying. Ya's annoying party leader finally gets back on her feet, looking completely pissed. She figures out that Rey is quite
strong, but her greediness makes her crave the reward for taking down the monster. She walks up to Rey, telling him to hand over the mana stone because they were the ones who applied to conquer the dungeon. Ya is shocked to hear this, and she is forced to remind The annoying lady that Rey just saved their lives. Rey even tells the lady that he has no problem giving her the mana stone, but in exchange for this, Rey tells the lady that he wants Ya to be in his party. This shocks the party leader and even Ya
herself. Ry then turns to Ya saying she is also free to make her choice as he is not imposing on her. The party leader bursts into maniacal laughter when she hears this and tells Rey that she wholeheartedly Agrees with the deal. She taps Ya on the shoulder asking her if she is also fine with the deal. Aa suddenly replies that she is in on the deal and she tells Rey that she is now in his care. The party leader collects the monone and as she walks away she talks about how she has managed to strike
a good deal by exchanging a useless party member. unknown to her, but known to Ry. Ya is the real deal. After the party is gone, Ya thanks Ry once again for saving her, And Rey apologizes for making her leave her party all of a sudden. Ya, on the other hand, doesn't think too much about herself because she believes that she is just going to drag Ry down. Rey then tells her that she has nothing to worry about because she is going to get stronger and even stronger than those who abandoned her. Ya is shocked to
hear this because she doesn't see herself as someone who is going to get stronger. Ry then tells her that he heard her Conversation with her former party members at the headquarters, but he assures her that it was not intentional. Because of what he heard, Ry tells Ya that he can be her support. Ya is relieved to hear this and she tells Ry that she is willing to be in his care. Ry smiles, realizing that he has successfully bagged gold. The following day, Ry and Ya prepare to step out in an attempt to conquer a B-rank
dungeon. Ya asks if they are liable to take the A- Rank exam if they conquer the dungeon and Ry says yes. In addition to this, Ry lets her know that there is actually something that will make her stronger inside the dungeon. This gets Ya curious because she knows that getting stronger will help her earn more money to pay her sister's medical bills. Excited at this, Ya shows Ry how hyped she is to take on the dungeon. The two steps into the B-rank dungeon, which is a crystal cave. The first set of monsters that they come
Across are black wolves, and this scares Ya. However, Ry urges her to stay back while he takes care of the monsters. Ry runs toward the monsters and he activates the extreme body enhancement before reaching them. Armed with his sword, he cuts down the monsters like tissue. He slices them open one after the other, shocking Ya, who was watching from behind. She is in awe at just how strong Ry is because his strength can't be compared to that of her former party Members, even though they were strong. Ry then leads Ya to exactly where he wants
them to go, assuring her that he is going to support her. He urges her to follow the plan and Ya walks toward the monsters in an attempt to defeat them so she can level up pretty fast. Even though she can only use simple attacks, she is willing to try her best against the monsters. Ya conjures her fireballs in preparation for the little monsters running up to her. Meanwhile, Rey is Standing and watching from behind because he has set A for the perfect test to make her realize her own weapon. While Ya is dealing with the
tiny monsters, a huge one appears from behind. But Rey is ready to deal with it because he is not in the mood to allow anything to tamper with what Ya has going on. Ya manages to defeat the monsters, but no matter how much she does, they just keep coming as if they have infinite respawn cards. She even Gets bitten on her left arm to make things worse for her because she is going to run out of mana if she finds a way around the annoying monsters. Ya is thinking about how hard her life is when
she looks up to see Ry taking on a bunch of tougher monsters just so he can make things easier for her. This is when it finally dawns on her that she needs to stop complaining and start acting instead. Ya is ready to live up to the standards that Rey is setting for her And she uses her emotions to conjure a fireball. She hurls the fireball at the monsters and thanks to the emotions behind it, the fireball grows large enough to consume the monsters like chips. Ya is shocked when she realizes that her fireball is getting
bigger, but her mana is not running out. Rey, on the other hand, is glad that Ya is finally getting a hold of her powers because she is actually suited for the battle of endurance. Basically, her monopol is her Greatest weapon and she has just discovered it. Ya is left in awe when she realizes that she has unlocked a skill blast furnace. Momentarily, the two arrive at the boss's room, which houses a level 52 huge slime. As Rey charges toward the slime, he tells Ya to use her new skill against the slime. Ya acknowledges the order
and she lets go of her blast furnace releasing an overwhelming firepower that shocks her. She cannot believe that she is capable Of such terrifying power. On the other hand, Rey is aware of what she is capable of because the blast furnace is a skill that increases the firepower of her skill, but at a high mana cost. It basically goes with her skill set. But suddenly, it dawns on Rey that the level of firepower that he is witnessing is higher than what he thought. Ya's firepower engulfs the entire room, turning it red, and she ultimately wipes
out the slime. After the boss is Defeated, Ry works up to her, commending her for a job well done. Ya is initially shaken, but she pulls herself together and starts laughing because she never thought she was capable of such amazing power. However, she doesn't waste a second to appreciate Rey because it is all thanks to him that she discovered her potential. After conquering the B-rank dungeon, the two return to the surface and she mentions that they have managed to fulfill the condition that Allows them to participate in the A-rank exam, meaning what is left is
to take the exam. Ry smiles at her, confirming this, but deep down he is edging to take the exam and pass because it is a must. On the day of the A-rank examination, the two head to the association and Hinata tells them that they are going to have to measure their combat capabilities and pair them with someone for a mock battle. Rey is ready to take on the exam and pass so he can finally Become an A-rank mage for his next plan. Ya is also excited and she urges Ry to put in his best too.
Just then, they run into former party members and the annoying leader, Isoyama. They make fun of her for trying to take the exam, but Rey steps up to defend Ya, telling the party members that Ya is not going to lose to cowards like them. Isyama scoffs and then mocks Rey, telling him that she has better party members that he can get instead of the useless Ya. Just then, The said party member appears in the distance, and it turns out to be a lady, Ao Yuri. This immediately gets Ray worried because he has heard the name
in his past life. Apparently, Yuri was so powerful that she once soloed a very dangerous dungeon without much stress. It was after this that she became really famous, and judging by the present circumstances, Ry easily figures out that Yuri is probably around an A-rank mage already. Yuri then walks up to Ry Saying that he looks like someone who is quite interesting. This catches Ry off guard, leaving him to stare at Yuri weirdly. Ya is worried about how Rey is acting and she calls his name. The mention of his name immediately tells Yuri who he is
as she is able to figure out that he is Kai's elder brother. In addition, she has learned that Kai lost to him and the news of this shocks Ry because he didn't know his feats had gone far amongst the mages. Ya, on the Other hand, is totally shocked that Ry defeated Kai and she is forced to ask him if it is true. Yuri then turns around to tell Ry that he might be impressive, but he has no chance against her. Yuri mentions that the purple king Kai is weaker than her. Momentarily, the mages gather at
the training center to try out their combat skills against the artificial golem provided by the association. Apparently, the golem is covered with a special rock that is Harder than a normal rock, and the mages are urged to do their best against it. Rey is the first person to be called forward to try out his strength against the golem. He stands in front of the golem and conjures a fireball, but the mages present start laughing at him for trying to use a fire element against a metal element golem. As he dashes toward the golem, Ray is
pretty sure that the fire element will be totally useless against the golem. But just before he Reaches the golem, he combines the fire attack with the ice shard to create the fire lance. Ray shoots the fire lance at the golem and it shatters the golem's head, leaving a cloud of smoke in its wake. The supervisor checks out the golem and the moment he gets no response, he confirms that the golem has been defeated. The mages who were mocking Ry before started murmuring in awe because they never expected Ry to take down the golem with just
a single Hit. Yuri, on the other hand, is impressed with the way Ry infused the two elements together to create an even powerful element. Ry smiles because he is obviously proud of how he handled the entire situation. For Ya, she underos the manipool measurement test and she is required to hold a crystal ball with her hands to get the accurate measurement. Just as she is about to touch the crystal ball, her former party members are already mocking her, saying she Should be ashamed that she came to take the exam. However, everyone in the room is
left reeling in their pants when the device displays her overwhelming firepower. Iyama cannot believe this and she assumes that Ya is most definitely cheating. Once they are done with the other prerequisites, the examiner tells the mages that the mock battles are the last thing on the list. For the first match of the mock battle, Ya is pitted against her nemesis, Isoyama. Ya stays Calm as she is about to take on the lady. But Isizoyama can't wait to fight Ya so she can expose her for who she really is. The battle begins and Isoyama launches a
bunch of ice needles at Ya, but she easily shatters everything with a giant fireball that blows shards of ice everywhere, almost blinding the caster herself. Isyama is shocked when she sees this because she never expected Ya to have such an overwhelming firepower skill. Isyama is startled, but Ya has not even started. Ya creates another fireball and she hurls it at Ioyama. Isoyama senses the terrifying power behind the fireball and immediately puts up a mana barrier hoping that this would save her. Before the attack hits, she is already mocking Ya for being a fool because her
attack plan is quite simple. She plans to block Ya's attack before launching a counterattack to get her off. Suddenly, she realizes something crazy, and this Is the fact that Ya's attack is not stopping anytime soon. Ya continues launching a series of fireballs at Ishoyama and her mana barrier. And because of the consecutive attacks, the mana barrier breaks apart, exposing Isoyama's fear behind it. Isoyama turns to her usual cowardice move, but as she runs away, she is hit by one of the resulting rubbles from Ya's fireball attack. Isoyama gets hit in the back of her head,
and as she crashes to the Ground, every fiber of her existence refuses to believe that Ya has surpassed her in strength. She crashes to the ground, and the examiner stops the battle, declaring Ya the winner. Ya's face lights up in excitement, and as she returns to the stands, Rey commends her for a job well done. Ya smiles, saying she can't believe that she won, but she wishes Ry good luck in his battle against Yuri. Yuri remains calm as she tells Ry to step into the arena for Their battle. As they step into the ring, Yuri
asks Ry if there is any particular reason as to why he is taking the examination. Ry stays mute and Yuri says she can see that he is more prepared compared to the other participants. Ry then replies that he has something that he needs to do no matter what, which is why he can't allow Yuri to stop him. Yuri smiles when she hears this and she lets off an overwhelming aura, reminding Ry that she Is pretty strong. Ry assures her that he is aware of this, but he is confident that he is going to win. Yuri
is impressed by his confidence and to put the talks to a side, she suggests that they do battle instead. Yuri starts with the attacks first and she launches a series of monoblades at Rey. Ry whips out his sword to try and block the blades, but he struggles. Apparently, Yuri uses a skill called mana conversion that allows the user to manipulate their Mana freely. Just then, Yuri surprises Ry with a powerful and overwhelming attack that almost crushes him, but he manages to get out of the way in time. Yuri smiles evil, saying Rey is lucky to
have dodged the attack, but Yuri is tired of staying on the defensive, and he decides to go on the offense instead. He runs toward her, but Yuri is not going to allow him to get to her just easily. She hurls some long-range attacks at him, but he blocks them using His mana barrier. Ray then dashes toward her and he swings his sword really hard in an attempt to decapitate her, but she jumps backwards. While she is still in the air, Ry tries to finish her off with his fire lance, but Yuri uses the Mona conversion
skill to create a shield to protect herself. Her shield is able to hold off against Ray's powerful lance attack, but she admits that he tried his best. Ry, on the other hand, is worried because her defense appears to be Totally flawless. Without a doubt, Ray can see that she is absolutely strong. Yuri then makes the next move by launching several long-range beams at Ry, forcing him to run around the arena in an attempt to dodge. Ray admits that Yuri's attacks are troublesome, and Yuri, on the other hand, mocks him, saying he has no chance if
he thinks he can run around to win. Ry then turns toward her and she locks on him with her attacks, believing that it is over for Him. However, Rey has something else planned. Just as the attacks are about to hit him, he activates his physical enhancement and cuts down everything that Yuri throws at him, shocking her. However, she is not done with Ry just yet. Yuri admits that it is her first time seeing someone who can wield three colors. However, she shocks him, saying she can also use body enhancement, too. She activates the skill and
then conjures a scythe using her primary Skill. Suddenly, she vanishes right in front of Rey, and by the time she reappears, she is behind him. Ray almost loses his head, but manages to turn just in time to block the attack. Ray is thrown backward from the overwhelming attack. And with just how fast Yuri is, Ray soon finds himself on the defensive again as Yuri hunts him down. Ray cannot believe the amount of overwhelming power that the girl possesses. And because of this, he decides to go to extremes. He Allows Yuri to get close and he
grabs her hand. But Yuri mocks him for this, believing that there is nothing to make of it. Suddenly, she realizes that something is wrong with her. And before she knows it, Rey has stolen her body enhancement skill. She starts stumbling backwards with the realization that her power is leaving her. With no way to defend herself, Ry gets the perfect opening to land a perfect hit straight into her chest. Yuri coughs up in pain As she falls to the ground. She cannot believe that Rey was actually hiding his true power all the while. With Yuri on
the ground and unable to fight back, Rey is declared the winner of the duel. Later on, Yuri wakes up in the hospital to see Rey and Ya standing beside her. The two are happy to see her back to life and she admits that she totally lost the fight. She tells Ry that she wasn't expecting him to be strong the way he is. Yuri then asks him why he has Come to visit her. With a humble voice and stance, Ry bows his head, asking Yuri if she would mind joining his party. Yuri is shocked when she
hears this and Rey lets her know that after reassessing the battle, she also got promoted to a rank. Ry admits that they need Yuri if they are to have a chance at conquering difficult dungeons. Rey is still talking when Yuri cuts him off by laughing out loud, saying he is a really interesting fellow. Yuri doesn't drag Things further and she tells Ry that she doesn't mind following his lead. Rey is glad to hear this and the two shake hands to seal the deal. Suddenly, the ground starts shaking ferociously, leaving Ry totally worried. He wonders what
could be happening and unknown to him, Kronos is actually trying to break off from where he is imprisoned, and all he needs is just a bit more strength to pull it off. When the shaking stopped, Ry remembered that in his past life, a Lot of earthquakes similar to this had happened before the Ikabukuro dungeon later collapsed. Ry figures out that they are reaching the time limit for the dungeon break already. Even though the dungeon is pretty difficult to take on, Ry doesn't think they have a choice at this point in time. Just then, he tells
the two girls his plan to conquer the dungeon, and this scares the crap out of them. They remind him that the dungeon is the most difficult in the region, Which makes it even more dangerous for the three of them. Yuri then asks him if he is suggesting that they conquer the dungeon because of the earthquake that happened and Ry confesses that he has a bad feeling about it. Ry says that there are several reports concerning abnormal monsters and he wants to believe that it is a prerequisite to something more dangerous. Yuri doesn't really care about
whatever Ry says as long as she follows his lead. Realizing that Yuri is On board, Ya also assures Rey of her support. Rey is glad to hear this and he thanks them for the support. The next day, Ray and his party submit a request to conquer the Ikabukuro dungeon to Hinata. Their request is approved and the trio heads to the dungeon entrance. Being the insane person she is, Yuri is super excited to take on the dungeon. Ya mentions that it would have been better if they had enough numbers to help with, but Ry says this
is impossible since the Association is limited to the number of A-rank mages that they can deploy. He then says it would have been nice if a certain person called Oawa were with them. Before the regression, Okawa was known to be one of the best in Japan. Ry fears that Kronos will appear again if the dungeon break happens, and he is determined to make sure that it doesn't. Before entering, the girls urge Ray to get formalities out of the way and call them by their regular names. To waste no Further time, he agrees to this, and
the trio steps into the dungeon afterward. Upon entering, the first monster they come across is a level 71 skull demon. Rey is shocked to see this since the monster is a boss in other low-level dungeons, but it is already showing up at the entrance of the dungeon. Without fear, the trio charges toward the skull demon, and it immediately puts up a mana barrier. Ray figures out that getting the mana barrier out of the way is the First thing to do, and he shoots a fire lance at the barrier. However, a single hit from the fire
lance appears to be too weak to destroy the barrier. A and Yuri then unleash their combined efforts to take down the barrier, giving Ry the open chance to run toward it and slice it in half. As usual, defeating the skull demon provides them with a big green monone. Ry commends the ladies for their impeccable timing in taking down the barrier. Yuri then finally summons The courage to ask Ry how it is that he is able to use so many skills. Ry takes a minute, but he finally answers, revealing that he has an ability called skill
drain. The girls are confused by this, and Rey explains that just by touching, he is able to steal someone else's skill. It finally dawn on Yuri what happened during their duel. However, Rey assures Yuri that he has already returned her skill. Ya, on the other hand, is totally blown away Because she wasn't expecting Ry to have such an overpowered skill. She finally realizes why Rey wanted them to take on the dungeon, and she concludes that they are in safe hands as long as Rey is with them. Ya is also determined to make sure that she
is not a burden to the team. With this, the team continues their advance deeper into the dungeon, and shortly afterward, they arrive at the boss's room. Ya points out that the rumbling of the ground is getting more Intense. She is forced to ask if they really have what it takes to take on the boss monster. Ray then tells Ya that they have undergone a level increase on their way to the boss's room. And with this, he believes that they should be able to pull it off. A admits that the dude is right with his analysis,
and she is ready to prove herself to the team that she is not a drawback. Suddenly, something appears behind and grabs Ya before any of them can react. They turn Around to see a terrifying creature, a level 89 Grim Reaper, which is the boss of the dungeon. Rey is ultimately shocked and terrified since the boss shouldn't be out of its room. This leaves several questions running through his head, but the main focus of everything is that they are in a deep mess. Ry then tells Yuri that things might look bad, but they have no choice
but to save Ya. Ry screams at Ya to make sure that she is fine. Apparently, Ya Was able to cast a mana barrier to prevent herself from getting crushed, but at the same time, Rey is worried because Ya might have a large pool of mana, but there is still a limit to it. Even though the best option for him is to use his abyss flame, he can't since Ya will be caught in the crossfire. The only solution to the problem is to actually find a way to help her out of the situation. Ray then tells
Yuri that he is going to try his best to get the Tentacle's attention, and he urges her to find a way to save Ya. With a seemingly solid plan, the two charge toward the monster. Ry puts himself directly where the monster is facing and almost gets hit with a tentacle, but he narrowly dodges it. The damage from the tentacle shatters the floor, shocking Ray. He immediately figures out that he is done for if he suffers a direct hit. Just when he thinks he is out of danger, one of the tentacles appears from Behind. Ya believes
that the dude is done for as she screams out his name in pain. Fortunately for Ry, he was able to get himself out of the tight situation using Monahand and he heaved a sigh of relief. While the entire chaos is unfolding, Yuri has gotten the chance to reach the monster. She swings her scythe, hoping to land a critical hit, but her attack bounces off, and this is when they realize that the monster has a strengthening skill. Yuri is forced to Retreat before she gets crushed between the monster's large tentacles. Ry checks on her, and she
assures the dude that she is doing quite fine. However, the two could see that there was something strange about the whole thing. Basically, tentacle monsters always have low defense, and this is the first time that Ry will be seeing one with a strengthening skill. In addition to the list of weird things going on around the monster is that it is outside its room. Unknown to him, Kronos is playing a big role in everything that is unfolding right in front of him. However, the monster is coming at them with so much rage that they don't have
the time to start thinking of what to do. While she is stuck inside her protective barrier, Ya believes that what the other two are facing is basically her fault. She figures out that she has been too passive because she is always relying on Rey to fix things. She starts racking Her brain to think of something that he can actually do to help out in the situation. Yuri and Ray soon have a huge problem on their hands because they are almost out of mana thanks to the number of battles that they have been involved in. Ry
is about to give up on the situation when he suddenly remembers something. He screams at Ya telling her to hit them with her mana fusion. Ya is shocked to hear this and the same goes for Yuri who thinks the skill is useless Since it consumes a lot of mana. Rey understands why they think this because the skill was considered useless in his past life too. But thanks to a certain mage, the skill's value was later discovered. This said mage is none other than Ya herself as she was the one who figured it out before the
regression. Ya is also conflicted about the skill since he hasn't used it before. But since Rey is asking her to do it, she is willing. Just then, Ya lets loose of her skill And it hits the two just as planned. Surprisingly, Yuri realizes that her mana is starting to recover, but Ry just smiles because he knows the essence of the skill. Apparently, manifusion has an effect that shares the mana of the user, but it is a skill that only a mage with a large amount of mana can master. Ya is excited when she sees this,
but suddenly she realizes that the amount of mana that she is sharing is not enough. It then dawns on her that her mana sharing Is restricted because of the mana barrier she activated. To properly help the team, she releases her mana barrier, giving the monster the chance to grab her tightly. However, Ya is able to release all of her for the two to operate with. Once she is done doing this, she weakly tells the two that the rest is up to them. With the sacrifice of their teammate, the two get hyperdetermined to take down the
monster no matter what. The two charge toward The monster, ready to tear it apart to save Yuri. Since their mana has been restored, they have what it takes to cut through the monster's defenses using their enhancement skill. They start decimating the monsters left and right, and Ray urges Yuri to maintain the momentum so that they can save Ya. Ry gets the chance to get to Ya, but the monster is a step ahead of them. The monster immediately moves Ya's position, making things even harder for them. Ry Easily figures out that with the way things are
going, they won't be able to get to Ya. However, Yuri assures him that she is going to open a path for him. Yuri then taps into her primary skill to unleash so much aura, creating stairs for Ry to climb on so he can reach Ya. Ry is thankful for the assist and he dashes toward Ya with the stairs. The monster tries to block his path with some of its tentacles, but Ry easily cuts them down with sheer fury. With so Much speed and determination, he reaches Ya and he cuts her down from the monster's grasp.
Ry manages to reach the ground and he checks on Ya to make sure that she is fine. Ya opens her eyes and smiles, saying, "Ry is just as impressive as ever." Yuri then rushes over telling Ya that she actually saved them with her skill. Yuri admits that Ya has some nerves about her. Even though they have rescued Ya, the primary mission to take down the monster Remains. Ry and Yuri rush toward the monster, but things get even harder because it regenerates its tentacles. Yuri realizes that they have found themselves in a tough situation and she
asks Ry what their next move should be. Ry then tells Yuri to leave the rest to him and even though she is skeptical, she agrees to let him do what he wants. Ry dashes toward the monster, assuring Yuri that he is going to finish it off. Yuri is shocked when she realizes that Ry is running toward the monster without a weapon in hand. Just as Ry is about to reach the monster's main body, it regenerates one of its tentacles to block his path. Ray then taps into the overclock power, hoping to double his firepower before
using the abyss flame. His entire body is engulfed in a dark aura as he unleashes a powerful flame at the monster, ultimately tearing its head open. The monster crashes to the ground, and this shocks Kronos, who wasn't Expecting the Grim Reaper to be defeated. Nonetheless, he is determined to make sure that Ry and his friends don't make it out alive. The team is still celebrating their win when a dark fluid emerges from the monster's defeated body and heads straight at Ya. It almost impales her, but Ry is able to get her out of the way
just in time. Ry realizes that the fluid is getting more powerful, and he screams at the girls to make a run for it. As they run toward The exit, Ry is hoping that they don't die since they have managed to stop the dungeon from collapsing. Just as they are about to reach the exit, the fluid gets the edge over them. The trio is about to be swallowed up when a golden shield covers them and a stern voice tells them to step aside. The team turns around to check out their savior, who is none other than
the powerful Oawa Hikaru. The girls are shocked when Oawa introduces himself because Rey had Mentioned his name before they entered the dungeon. Ry admits that he is the same guy whom he wanted help from. Basically, Okiaawa is stronger than them all because he is currently an S-rank mage. In addition to this, he was known as the yellow king before Ray's regression. Rey knows that they would have been toast if Oawa had not arrived just in time to shield them with his barrier magic. Okawa winks at them, saying he is glad that he made it just
In time to save them. Ooa mentioned that he was in another dungeon, which was a request from the country. However, he was contacted by someone who is none other than Hinata. Okawa then shocks Rey by telling him that he knows him since he is Kai's brother. Okiaawa assures Rey that he has nothing to worry about because he was merely interested in him. Ry is relieved to hear this and he finally thanks Oiawa for the assist. Oawa doesn't take it as something really Serious and he tells Ry that he actually did something impressive to have defeated
the boss of the dungeon. Just then the mana stone from defeating the monster drops and Oawa is shocked at how big the stone is. Okawa figures out that the dungeon boss is pretty strong and he throws the mana stone to Rey who barely grabs it before it falls off. Okiaawa congratulates Rey, saying he's looking forward to more from him. After saying this, Oiawa steps out of the dungeon and The team follows suit. When they enter the association building, Yuri mentions that Okawa is an interesting fellow and Rey agrees with her. Hinata is shocked when she
sees the team coming and she starts screaming asking if they are okay. Hinata has been worried about the team since they were taking too long in the dungeon. Hinata scolds Ray for heading straight into the dungeon after submitting his application form, even though the dungeon is more dangerous Than the others. Hinata then asks them about the progress of the dungeon, expecting that they would still be at the entrance level. Hinata and her fellow attendants almost have a brain seizure when Rey mentions that they have conquered the entire dungeon. They can't believe their eyes and ears,
causing them to scream like maniacs. The information about the Ikabukuro dungeon being conquered soon starts flying around. Guilds start running around to Try to reach the person who conquered the dungeon. When addressing the press, Ya says she finally has enough money to cover her sister's medical bills. And in addition, she thanks Ry for the great opportunity. Isoyama and her party members are totally salty when they see this. But Isizoyama still wants to believe that Ya is cheating. The same thing applies to Kai, who is utterly pissed about Ry being the one who conquered the dungeon.
The news about Ray conquering the dungeon spread everywhere, especially since he was known as colorless before. Group chats went wild with friends calling each other out, suggesting that they all apologize for trash-talking Ray. While everyone is talking about how impressive Ry is, he is thinking about how he is going to get stronger since he was able to conquer the dungeon thanks to the help he got from others. 3 days later, Ry heads to the association because Hinata summoned him, claiming that there is something he needs to hear. Rey and the girls are shocked when Hinata
tells them that they have received a request to conquer a certain dungeon. Ya can't believe this because they just became a rank mages. And Hinata says this is possible thanks to their recent achievement. Basically, dungeon explorations are usually requested by mages themselves, but being offered a formal request is something the Association only allows to a certain number of mages. Aa smiles, telling Ry that everyone is counting on him, but Ry disagrees, saying the entire party is needed. Ry then asks Hinata who made the request, but she tells Rey that she can't answer because the higher-ups
told her to keep it a secret. As expected, Yuri wants them to accept the mission just because it sounds fun. Rey is obliged to accept since it was made via the association, so it shouldn't be Anything suspicious. Just then, Hinata mentions that an S-rank mage will be accompanying them on the mission. The following day, the party heads to the location where they are to meet the said S-rank mage. Ya is curious to see who the person will turn out to be. Momentarily, they run into the person and to their greatest surprise, it is Okawa. As
they step into the dungeon, Rey mentions that he never thought Okawa would be the one to escort them and Oawa Smiles, saying he already knew, but he wanted to keep it a surprise. Oiawa then mentions that he is looking forward to the mission because the whole world is also watching them. Ya is blown away by how carefree Oiawa is, and Rey agrees with her, but reminds her that the dude is still an S-rank mage even at that. Ray then asks Oiawa if it is true that there is a tricky mechanism inside the dungeon and Oawa
says yes. Apparently the scout team came back with a report That there was a wall of fire blocking the path. Ry is curious about this and he asks how they are supposed to deal with it. Macawa then reminds them that he has his barrier skill and as long as he is with them the firewall means nothing. Ry notices that the dude is overconfident and he wonders if he thinks the dungeon will be easy. As if Oawa can hear his thoughts, he tells Ry that he will see how cool he is once he sees him in
action because he will be The one carrying the entire team. Suddenly, a wave of monsters appears on the scene, and Rey tells his team to get ready to fight. He is also interested in seeing how strong an S-rank mage really is. Suddenly, he spots Oawa sitting in the corner with fear written all over his face. Oiawa tells the trio to handle the monsters because he is not quite familiar with the type of monsters that they are currently going up against. Ya reminds Oiawa of what he said about Being the main man, but Ray just tells
his team to face the monster and forget about the coward. The trio takes their stance and they start hurling out long range attacks at the incoming monsters. Yuri confidently goes after the monsters, saying that they are nothing compared to the monsters that they fought in the past. Ya and Yuri take out the majority of the monsters and Ry finishes off the rest with his fire lance. Oiawa is blown away when he sees This. And after the monsters have been defeated, Ya excitedly celebrates with Ray. Oiawa finally stands up from where he was hiding, claiming that
he hates bugs and he is thankful that they saved his life. Suddenly, some wolves appear from behind and charge toward Oawa. But he gets serious and pins them down in a square box, ultimately killing them off pretty easily. Ry and his team are shocked when they see this and Rey asks Okiaawa what sort of skill he just used. Okiaawa mentions that the skill is called the square box and it is one of his barrier skills. However, the skill can't be used against a large foe. Rey is completely amazed because he has heard of it before,
but this is the first time he will be witnessing it. Once the monsters are taken care of, Okawa suggests that they keep moving. As Rey walks behind him, he is completely in awe of Okawa because he is an embodiment of what an Srank should look Like. Momentarily, they arrive at the wall of fire and it is just as the report said. The intensity of the fire can be felt some meters away without even going close. Just then, Oawa steps forward and he creates a path through the fire with his barrier magic. The team excitedly walks
through the passage and they soon find another hole which leads to the boss's room. Since they are all ready, Ry suggests that they move into the boss's chambers. Deep down, Oiawa is waiting to see what Rey is capable of because he wants to know if he is a fraud or he is the real deal. As they step into the room, Ry complains about how hot it is, which obviously signifies the power of the foe they are about to engage. The boss finally steps out and it turns out to be a level 68 flame gar. Just
the appearance of the boss alone sends shivers down Ray's spine. Ry panics as the monster walks toward them and he tells the team to put Up a mana barrier. However, Okawa tells him that there is no need for this. The monster unleashes its flame breath on them, but Oawa easily blocks it using his barrier magic. This ultimately blows Ray's mind, and Okawa tells Ry that he will handle defense while they handle offense. Ry acknowledges the order, but he takes a moment to think about what to do. He figures out that the barrier could fail at
any time if it gets hit severely. Ry thinks of using his abyss Flame, but he quickly ditches the idea because the monster is quite fast and in addition, it is a boss level monster. Since the mana usage for the abyss flame is quite high, Ray figures out that he is just going to have to take down the monster in another way. Ry then leads the charge while telling Yuri and A to find a gap to attack. As he approaches the monster, Ray activates his body enhancement and leaps toward it. Ray deceives the monster into thinking
he is About to attack him head-on, but Ray maneuvers behind it before landing a critical hit. Yuri and Ya also support from behind as they launch their long-range attacks at the boss monster. Even with the combined attack, the monster remains mobile, and this just confirms Ray's fear that the monster is quite strong. Ray figures out that they are going to be at a disadvantage if the battle continues longer than expected. Rey is already sweating from the intense Heat and he realizes that defeating the monster quickly is paramount. Meanwhile, Oawa is watching from behind, waiting to
see what Rey is going to do since he has found himself in such a dire situation. Just then, Ry tells Yuri and A to start directing their attacks toward the monster's feet instead of its body. Yuri and Ya gladly accept his plan, and they immediately send their attacks to the monster's feet. Ya even takes it a step further by hitting the monster with a Skill called stone bullet. This forces the monster to start jumping around, but Ray figures out that no matter how agile it is, there is no way it will be able to dodge
attacks in the air. Ray leaps toward the monster and just as he is about to get to the monster, he covers his blade in ice, leaving Oiawa in awe. With the monster unable to move freely in the air, Ray lands a critical hit that sends it crashing to the ground, totally defeating it. The girls rush Over to him as usual to congratulate him, but he tells them that it is all thanks to them. Okiaawa is impressed with the teamwork that he just saw, and he concludes that Rey is just as the report said. However, Okawa
can see that Rey is still hiding his true power. Just then, Rey suggests that they head back to the association to make their reports, but Okawa tells him to wait. Wakawa whips out the square box and tells Ry that he would like to test him. Okiaawa tells Ry that the box can be used to capture monsters, but at the same time, it can also be used as a method for training. Oiawa then comes clean, telling Ry that he wants to see his true power. Because of this, Oawa wants Rey to defeat the monsters sealed inside
the box. He assures him that he is going to receal the monsters if it starts getting dangerous, but it will be up to him to tell him to do it or not. Ry finally realizes why Oawa followed Them and even though he doesn't know his true motives yet, Ry cannot let go of an opportunity to gain more experience. Ray then accepts Oawa's request and Oawa unseals the square box. Just then, a terrifying black shadow appears from the box. Apparently, the monster residing in the box is one that changes its appearance depending on the fear of
its opponent. Wikawa is excited to see what sort of appearance he will see. And just as expected, Ray's greatest fear, Kronos, gently emerges from the box. Oiawa is shocked to see this since it is the first time he will be seeing such a monster. While Oawa is excited about the whole new experience, Rey is freaking out. Yuri and A wonder why the black shadow suddenly transformed into a humanoid form. And with the look of things, they can clearly see that it is not a normal monster. At the same time, Oiawa wonders what sort of monster
he is staring at and whether Ry had fought the Monster in the past. Rey, on the other hand, is surprised that even though he is not facing the real Kronos, he is still feeling the overwhelming aura coming from it. Ry then pushes his fear aside, and he goes after the monster with the intention of landing the first shot, but Kronos pulls out his long red sword and blocks the attack. Even though his attack is parried, Ry doesn't feel intimidated, and this motivates him. Before Kronos can land a counter-strike, He leaps backwards to dodge. Suddenly, he
notices that Kronos's eyes are changing colors. At the last second, Ray moves out of the way and out of nowhere, a devastating shockwave attack hits behind him. This shocks the trio watching the fight because they didn't even know when Kronos put the attack into motion. Even though it is an invisible attack, Okawa is impressed with the fact that Ray was able to dodge it. Unknown to them, Ry was only able to Dodge this because he had faced Kronos before his regression. Ray then cooks up an ice spear and he dashes toward Kronos. But as he
draws closer, he sees Kronos smiling at him. This distracts him, giving Kronos the chance to punch him into the distance. Aa screams out in fear, believing that Ry is done for, but thankfully he is able to tank the hit. Rey starts getting worried because he didn't expect Kronos to nullify his attack so easily. A then tells Oawa that The whole thing is getting dangerous and he agrees. Oawa decides to retrieve the shadow back into the box and he stretches his hand to activate his power. Surprisingly, he realizes that something is wrong. Yuri also notices that
Oiawa is worried and nothing is happening. She urges him to quickly retrieve the box and Okawa replies that he is trying, but the shadow is resisting him. This is when it dawns on them that something beyond their power Might have gotten out. Even Okawa is surprised because the box has never done that in the past. Since the monster appears to have gotten out of hand, Yuri and Ya decide to step in. They dash toward the monster before Ray can stop them. They both unleash their attacks at the same time, but Kronos easily deflects them and
sends them flying with a powerful counterattack. The two crashed into the ground, leaving a massive explosion. Ray watches in horror As he tries to see if the two are still alive. Oawa then apologizes for the way things have turned out. He tells Ry that he is going to fix everything, and he activates his barrier magic to restrain Kronos. Oawa's confidence is soon shattered when Kronos gives off an evil smirk before shattering the restriction on his body. Fear grips Ray and Oiawa because they didn't expect Kronos to be able to break free of Oawa's barrier magic.
Okiaawa admits that they are in Trouble and if care is not taken, they are just going to get wiped out. Ray then takes a moment to assess the situation and he figures out that the fake Kronos is using some sort of strange skill. He then figures out that the monster is recreating the appearance and skills of Kronos from his memory. The solution to the whole thing immediately comes to his mind and he tells Oawa to back down. Ry remembers that in his past life he was running Away from Kronos. But as things stand, he will
only remain stuck if he doesn't make a move. Ray then takes a huge leap toward the monster because he has figured out that the monster changed its appearance because of the strange skill. Just as he gets closer to the monster, the monster swings its sword hard at Ry, but he dodges it. Ray then gets the chance to close the distance to touch the monster. Once he does, he activates the skill drain, letting off a huge Energy blast. However, Ray's plan works and the monster turns to dust, signaling its defeat. Oawa is left in shock as
sweat runs down his face, asking himself what sort of skill he just saw Ry use. This is when he finally starts questioning just who exactly Ry is. 3 days later, Yuri and Oawa meet in a strange building. And as they walk down the hallway, they talk about the events of the past few days. Yuri tells Oiawa that he should be happy that Rey even Forgave him for what happened. Oiawa agrees with Yuri, but he lets Yuri know that Rey is far more amazing than what she actually reported. They soon arrive at a giant door, and
sitting inside the large room is the blue king, Hojo Itsuki. The two bow to him to pay their respects, and he urges them to remain free. Apparently, Hojo has been away for some time exploring dungeons in other countries. Okawa is surprised that Hojo is taking on so many tasks, and Hojo Lets him know that the higher-ups of the association are always demanding, and he has no choice since someone has to do it. Yuri then talks about why Hojo was also summoned, which means the dungeon he went to is as dangerous as the Ikabukuro dungeon. Yuri
is impressed that Hojo had to take on that kind of dungeon in 10 different locations, which shows just how powerful he is. Hojo then suggests that they move over to the main business of the day. He tells the two That he would like to hear more about Rey. The two agree to this, and moments later, they have told him everything they can about Rey. Hojo is impressed and Oiawa agrees with him saying Rey is quite powerful and with the look of things he might even be stronger than him who is an S-rank mage. Hojo is
surprised that not only does Rey have excellent combat skills, but he also has a skill that allows him to steal others skills. Unknown to Hojo and Okiawa, Yuri Still has more to say, but she is keeping it in because she might just end up blowing their minds. Hojo admits that with everything he has heard, Ray peaks his interest, and before they leave, he asks them for a favor. Later on, Rey and Ya are strolling past the reception in the association building when Hinata frantically calls Ray's name. Ry rushes over asking her what the issue is.
Hinata looks sad as she tells Rey that she has no idea what Rey must have done To deserve what she is about to tell him. Ry then asks her what the problem is, and Hinata lets him know that he has been summoned by the Blue King because he wants to meet Ry in person. Not long after this, Rey heads to Hojo's palace to meet him. Ry is blown away the moment he gets to lay his eyes on Hojo, the blue king. In his past life, Hojo was known as the true color king amongst the other
kings. Apparently, Ry also adored Hojo because he was strong and then he Made sure to protect the weak. Ry was always drawn to his words, which is why he aimed to become a great person like him. However, something terrible happened back then because Hojo was caught in the torrent of a dungeon collapse and he was killed in battle. This basically happened because he sacrificed himself as a shield to protect the civilians during the evacuation. In return, he became a hero who died to save countless lives. However, now in the present timeline, Rey wonders what Hojo
might want with him. Rey is still racking his brain about this when Yuri shows up in the room, shocking him because Oawa is also in the room. Hojo then tells Ry that he's going to explain everything to him. He reveals that Okawa and Yuri are scouts who are responsible for scouting talented people from around the world. Basically, they are members of the Apostles of the Holy Staff. Rey is Shocked when he hears this because he has heard that name before. A then tells him that it is an elite group under the direct command of the
blue king himself. Hojo then confesses, revealing that he was the one who requested Ry to conquer the dungeon. In addition, he was also the one who made Oikawa follow him. It finally dawns on Rey that they wanted to see his real strength, which is why they asked him to fight the monster. Yuri also confesses that she joined Ray's Party because it looked fun. Hojo comes clean, telling Ry that he is interested in him and that he would like Ry to join them. However, he lets Ry know that he would like to see his humanity first
because there is still a lot that remains hidden when it comes to mages with multiple colors. Hojo then asks Ry what it is that he wants. Ry then takes a moment to think about it before giving his answer and he tells Hojo that he wants to get stronger than anyone else. Hojo then asks him if he is trying to become the strongest mage and also become the king of a color who surpasses him as a person. Before giving his answer, Ry thinks about it for a minute and with passion, he gives his answer, telling Hojo
that he would like to be stronger than him. Hojo lets him know that he is pleased with his answer and with this he asks Rey if he would like to join the Apostles of the Holy Staff. Rey and Ya are both shocked when they Hear Hojo's offer and Hojo adds that he is pretty sure that Rey is going to do well alongside competent people. After accepting the offer, Okawa tells Ry to follow him. And not long after this, they arrive at a room filled with the elite mages who are under Hojo's command, the apostles of
the holy staff. One of the members, Kurahashi, is the first to speak out, mentioning his disappointment about the fact that Rey is still young. The others in the room Are forced to remind him that he is the same age as Rey and this is just how he acts when he is excited. Oawa then tells Rey to take his seat so he can explain the request from Hojo to everyone. Okiaawa then explains to the group that their mission is to conquer two dungeons and both dungeons are highle dungeons with a recommended level above 65. To do
this, they are going to divide themselves into two teams to simultaneously take on the two dungeons. Oawa mentions that those who will go to Makuari dungeon are himself, Yashiro, Shiroy, and Azuma. On the other hand, Ry and his party will go to the Tama dungeon, but they are going to be accompanied by Kurahashi. Kurahashi freaks out when he hears this, demanding to know why he is paired with Ry and his gang. Yuri teases him asking him if he is unhappy about it and Kurahashi replies that he is not. Okiaawa then tells Kurahashi that he has
nothing to Worry about because Rey is skilled enough and in addition he possesses three colors of mana. Kurashi disagrees that having a wide variety of mana means one is strong enough because Ray's brother Kai was also the same. Ry is shocked when he hears Kai's name and Kurashi reveals that Kai was a member of the apostles of the holy staff. He adds that they might call Kai the purple king, but he is still nothing compared to them. Ry then remembers that Yuri Said the same thing about Kai, and this tells Ry that this is just
how people now see Kai. Kurahashi continues with his yapping, talking about how multiple colors don't mean one is strong. In addition, he believes that Oawa was the one who helped Ray clear the Ikabukuro dungeon. In essence, Kurahashi is saying Ry is a weakling. A then flares up telling Kurahashi that he is wrong because Rey is not weak. She mentions that Kurahashi can only have the right To judge him when he has seen what Rey can do with his own eyes. Thanks to Aa's scream, Kurahashi finally folds and he agrees to join Ray's party to conquer
the dungeon. Since everyone is in agreement, Okawa tells them that they are going with the same plan. He lets Kurahashi know that he is going to witness Ray's power by himself. Kurahashi still thinks Okawa is glazing Ray and he urges him to stop emphasizing it. As they prepare for the mission, Ry Knows that it is imperative he shows his strength. But at the same time, he needs more comrades when he finally wants to face Kronos. And even though Kurahashi's words are harsh and degrading, he still needs him. Not long after, they arrive at the Tama
dungeon. And in no time, a horde of monsters approaches them. Rey is still trying to tell the team that they need to work together when Kurahashi cuts in, telling them that working together is stressful. Without Consulting the rest of the team, Korahashi leaps toward the monsters with a powerful fist attack imbued with flames. Just one punch from him shatters the ground and unleashes a massive shock wave that almost throws Ya off the ground. With just a single strike, Kurashi wipes out the horde of monsters and he teases Rey, telling him that he is pretty sure
he can't do what he just did. Just like before, Kurahashi leaps off again, telling the team that he is Just going to conquer the dungeon solo. Ry then turns to the girls, letting them know that he has no intentions of losing to Kurahashi. With this, he runs after Kurahashi, leaving the girls behind. Rey wipes out a bunch of monsters at the same time, and Kurahashi lets him know that his move is getting slightly better. Rey thanks him for the compliment, and he continues what he is doing. Ya complains about how the whole thing has turned
into one big mess, but Yuri tells her that she should be proud because Rey is keeping up with Kurashi. Yuri mentions that Kurahashi's skill is special because he can use his mana consecutively over a wide area. This is basically why Kurahashi is a menace to a large group of enemies. Yuri mentions that Kurahashi currently holds the title of the man who slayed the most monsters. But even with this, Rey is managing to keep up with such a man. With a smile on her face, Yuri declares that Rey is an Amazing mage. 10 minutes later, they
arrive at the boss room, shocking Ya. Deep down, Rey can feel something changing in him. And this is thanks to the fact that he is competing with Kurahashi. Upon entering the boss room, the team is stunned when they see a giant eye staring at them from above. The team is gearing up to fight the boss when they notice something weird happening. The boss starts drawing in all the monsters that they defeated. To Their greatest surprise, the boss monster absorbed the dead monsters to ultimately become something even scarier, a chimera beast, which has never been seen
before. Since it is a monster that is unknown, Ry tries to tell Kurahashi that they need to be careful. However, Kurahashi ignores them and dashes toward the boss monster, talking about how he is not intimidated. Kurahashi leaps toward the monster and delivers a fiery punch that leaves a Huge flame in its wake. They all watched in patience to see if Kurahashi was able to defeat the monster. However, by the time the flame clears off, Kurahashi realizes that the monster is still standing and it has blocked his attack with its arm. Before Kurahashi knows it, the
monster's other arm is already reaching for his throat. Just as the monster is about to tear his head off, Ry comes into play and he drags Kurahashi away from danger using the Mana hand. Ry asks him if he is fine, but he is clearly focused on not losing to Ry. Just then, they see the monster regenerating its damaged body, which makes it even more dangerous. As if this is not enough, the monster raises its head and starts preparing to fire what appears to be a laser. Without a doubt, Ry knows that it is going to
be deadly, and he screams at his teammates, telling them to dodge. The laser hits, unleashing a deadly strike that the team Knows they would have died if they hadn't dodged. Even Kurahashi is worried, but he is relieved that the monster doesn't have what it takes to fire the laser consecutively. Since this is the case, Yuri believes that it is time they get down to business, too. She fires ice spears at the monster, but to her surprise, the monster sustains no damage. This is when she realizes that Korahashi being able to damage the monster with his
fire was no joke. Ray Figures out that they are in a tight spot because if they continue waiting around, the monster is just going to fire another shot, which might be worse than before. Ry has plans to attack the monster's main body, but he knows it would just use its arms to get in the way again. Ry then figures out a way, and he tells Ya to cast mana fusion on Kurahashi. A is surprised to hear this, and Rey confirms that this is what he said. Ya then activates her power, Bathing Kurahashi with so much
mana that he is forced to scream out. Ry then tells Kurahashi to attack the monster's main body when they still have time. Kurahashi does as told, and he leaps toward the monster, delivering a powerful blast to its body. Even with the amount of firepower that Ray delivered to the monster's body, it is still standing. Annoyed, the monster starts cooking up another laser blast. The team starts freaking out, but this Is exactly what Ry wants. He dashes past Kurahashi, telling him that he really cleared the path. Ray closes down on the monster before it gets the
chance to unleash its laser, and Ray cooks up his powerful black flame. Just as the monster fires its laser, Ray releases the black flame, ultimately overwhelming the laser and returning the damage to the beast. Ray's overwhelming power is enough to finish off the monster, leaving Kurahashi surprised. He knows That he couldn't even destroy the monster with his skill, and he is also impressed with Ray's decisiveness to break through in such a situation. Finally, Kurahashi is forced to admit that Rey is the real deal. Later on, the public hears about Ray's latest win, and everyone is
blown away by the fact that Ry is showing incredible feats. Unfortunately, Kai is walking past when a dude talks down on him because Ry is now the cream of the crop. When Ry and His party returned to the Apostles building, Hojo commends them for doing a good job. He asks if the Tama dungeon provided more trouble than the previous dungeon, and Rey confirms this, saying they actually ran into a new type of monster. Okiaawa then asks Kurahashi what he thinks of Ry after watching him fight. Kurahashi reluctantly replies that Ry isn't bad and he adds
that Ry has a good strategy too. One of the team members scolds Kurahashi for looking Down on Rey. And even after seeing what he can do, he is still reluctant to admit that he is impressive. Kurahashi screams at the chick to shut her mouth before turning to Ry to apologize to him for calling him awful names. With this, Kurashi admits that Rey is strong. Ray smiles when he hears this and he tells Korahashi that he is also glad that he helped him so he doesn't actually need to apologize to him. Korahashi tries so hard to
hide how excited he is and he Covers it up with some but everyone can see through his BS. Hojo is glad that Kurashi has approved of Rey because there is no one to complain about him again. Hojo then stretches his hand to give Ry the badge of the apostles which means he is now a bonafide member of the team. Hojo lets him know that he is free to continue working with his party, but he urges Rey to always create time for them, too. The two then shake hands on the deal. Meanwhile, Ya is totally dumbfounded
because even though she is aware that Rey is impressive, it is a whole new standard to be recognized by one of the strongest mages. Kurahashi tries acting like a big bro, telling Ry that he is going to put him under his wings, but Yuri is there to ruin everything for him again, saying he is the one who needs a lesson. Kurahashi screams out in frustration, telling Yuri to just shut her mouth. On the other hand, Hojo is Glad that he put Kurahashi on Ray's team because this has helped them to bond well. Oawa also knows
that Kurashi would have been against Ray's recruitment if he didn't get to see what he could do firsthand. Oawa is impressed by how smart Hojo is with his thinking. Once everyone is in line with Ray's induction, Hojo speaks up, saying he has a suggestion. To Ray's surprise, Hojo urges him to take the title of the black king. Meanwhile, Kai and his party are Seen fighting monsters in a dungeon, and Kai doesn't look like himself. One of the team members urges him to use the overclock skill, totally forgetting that Kai can't use it anymore. After struggling
for a while, the party is able to clear out the monsters. Kai's party members assume that they are going to rest, but Kai shocks them, telling them that they need to go deeper. His party members remind him that they have been in the dungeon for 5 days Consecutively, and it would be better if they stop. Kai just tells the dude to shut his mouth and follow him. The dude then starts doubting if it is okay for them to follow Kai. But the other guy on the team scolds him, saying they need to support Kai because
this is the time he needs their support the most. Deep down, Kai is thinking about how he is going to conquer the dungeon fast. He looks frustrated and the whole saga with his brother is not helping. In fact, a Reporter walked up to Kai just to ask him about his brother. They mentioned the fact that Hojo had recognized Rey and hearing this contributes to his anger. Because of this, Kai is desperate to show his former team that he is the strongest. Elsewhere, Cronis is excited that he has found the right person to use as a
pawn. In a quick revelation, the whole world changed when the dungeons appeared, and it became an era in which strong mages attained social Status. Mages became a superstar who started signing major deals. Being a mage was already rare, but being a dual-colored mage was even rarer, and Kai turned out to be one of them. This immediately upgraded Kai's status, and he became the talk of the town. Everyone who had distanced themselves from Kai started running after him. Even the apostles who were proud allowed Kai to join them as the youngest member of the team. However,
the team supposedly acted Rudely toward him and he left the group because they didn't recognize his abilities. Surprisingly, Ry was the only one who didn't treat him differently. Even though Ry didn't have any talent, Kai could see that Rey was always staring at him like he could catch up with him someday. Kai hated this because he believed that he was chosen by the world and Rey was acting as if he could catch up to him. Because of this, Kai decided that he was going to show him That he is on another level. However, things appear
to be different already. Nonetheless, Rey thinks he still has a chance. Kai is walking through the streets when Kurahashi appears behind him. Kurahashi reminds him that the last time they saw each other was when he got kicked out of the team. Kai is pissed to hear this as he tries to correct the notion, claiming that he quit and was not sacked. He believes that Hojo was jealous of his talents, which is why he Was acting like a boss to him instead of treating him equally. Kai then mentions that he also heard about the fact that
Rey became a member of the team and Kurahashi asks him if he has any problem with this. Kai starts trashtalking Ry, but Kurahashi cuts him short, telling him to shut his mouth. Kurahashi gets serious as he speaks to Kai, telling him that he is free to think what he wants, but it has been confirmed that Ray's ability is real. He adds that Rey is Keeping a low profile despite the fact that he is a dual-colored mage unlike Kai. Kai flares up, telling Kurashi to shut his mouth because he is the purple king, which is the
highest title a mage can hold. He urges Kurashi to stop comparing him to Rey, but Kurahashi just smirks, telling Kai that he doesn't know anything. Kurashi tells him that Ry has now gotten the recommendation to become a king, which came from Hojo personally. When Kai hears this, he almost faints in Shock because he realizes that Rey is just about to become like him. Kurashi then tells Kai that Rey hasn't given them their answer yet. And in addition, he lets Kai know that his brother is not chasing after titles like him. Kurahashi then ends the conversation
by telling Kai that Ry is now above him, which is why he is suited to be a king. Kai freaks out because he can't actually admit the fact that Rey is about to go past him. Because of this, Kai has been Pushing himself in the dungeons. After fighting for so long in the dungeon, his comrades advise that they fight the boss the next day, but Kai shuts them up, saying he is the strongest. Kai pushes open the boss room with the intention of proving to his comrades that he is strong. Surprisingly, what he meets inside
the dungeon is a level 20 slime, and this disappoints Kai. His comrades, on the other hand, are scared that things are not sitting tight because They have never seen that type of monster before. In his quest to show that he is strong, Kai decides that he is going to kill the monster instantly. He aura farms as he hurls a magic blast at the slime, seemingly killing it. His team members commend him, telling him that he did it, but they have not even finished saying this when their heads fly off their necks like bowling pins. Kai
frantically turns around to see his dead teammates. Before he knows what is Going on, the slime has gotten bigger and has overwhelmed him. Kai tries to fight back, but the slime is just too strong and forces itself inside Kai's body, ultimately merging with him. Meanwhile, Kronos is rejoicing in his prison because he has finally gotten a new pawn. Moments later, Kai gets back on his feet looking different, but he laughs out evily, talking about how he now feels really good. On the other hand, part of the seal holding Kronos Has broken. Elsewhere at the Apostle
Facility training center, Rey and the team are seen practicing. After some minutes of training, Oawa suggests that they take a break. Ya rushes over to give Rey a towel to dry his face, and she also tells Kurahashi that she learned a lot just by watching him train. Kurahashi tries to hide his red face, but it is pretty clear that he is blushing really hard. Kurahashi then mentions that he met Kai earlier in the Day. Kurahashi then reveals everything they talked about, laughing at how Kai thinks he is still stronger than him. Yuri finds a way
to tease Kurahashi again, saying he personally went after Kai because he is looking down on someone he had approved himself. Kurahashi almost passes out in shock because Yuri isn't lying. However, Rey is not even focused on them because he is thinking about the last time he saw Kai, which was after the duel. He starts Wondering when it is that he and Kai started drifting apart, and he fears that it might end as it did in his previous life. He then concludes that he has to settle everything like brothers. Suddenly, another member of the team comes
rushing over, telling them that there's been an emergency. It turns out that Shinjuku dungeon has collapsed and a lot of monsters are coming out of the dungeon. The team immediately rushes to the scene and they express their shock That monsters are coming out of the dungeon. Ry is also surprised because the Shinjuku dungeon isn't supposed to happen yet, but things have turned out weirdly. Okawa then tells the team that they don't have the time to start thinking because the blue king is far away on a mission. He lets them know that it is up to
them to handle the situation and he tells the team that they should prioritize evacuating the citizens. The team affirms Oawa's Instruction and they swing into action, saving nearby civilians while trashing the monsters. While Kurahashi is busy running a muck, Oawa creates a barrier for the civilians to escape into. Ry is impressed that the team is carrying out their duties unfazed, which is expected of the special team. Ry remembers that in his previous life, there were a lot of casualties during the dungeon break, but he is pretty sure that they will be able to manage the
situation in his Current life. Suddenly, a giant monster appears on the scene, which appears to the boss. Kurahashi is excited to take on the monster because he sees it as nothing but a big target. Kurahashi is still gearing up to take on the monster. When Ray comes flying at the monster with just a punch from Ry, he shatters the monster into tiny bits. Rey is about to start celebrating when he hears an evil laugh behind him. He recognizes the voice and when he turns around, he sees Kai with wings flying in the sky. To make
it worse, Kai looks absolutely menacing as he stares down on Rey, telling him that he has found him. Ray watches in horror and surprise as he asks Kai why he looks the way he does. Kai laughs at Ry, asking him if he is talking about his form or about his aim to crush him. Surprisingly, Kai uses the plural word when saying this, hinting at the fact that there is something else inside him. Just then, Ry senses Kai Behind him, and he reacts at the last second to avoid getting decapitated. Kai makes fun of Ry, saying
he might have managed to dodge the strike, but he wonders just how far he is going to go. Kai continues attacking Ry, putting him on the defensive. Ry gets cut on the face at some point, but he could sense that his brother is not acting normally. He wonders what is going on with Kai, which is making him act like a monster. Ry continues dodging Kai's strikes, and At some point, Kai stops attacking. He tells Ry that he can see the expression on his face, which clearly shows that he is in denial. Kai then tells Ry
that everything happening is his fault. Kai claims that he gained his monster form so he can have the power to kill Rey. Ry is shocked when he hears this because Kai using the word kill towards him is totally out of line. Ray stands frozen as Kai dashes at him, ready to finish him off. Fortunately, Kurahashi shows up At the right time to kick Kai in the face, sending him flying into the distance. Kurahashi still thinks Kai is normal, and he starts scolding him for going rogue during an emergency situation. Kai screams at Kurahashi to stop
messing around, but Kurashi yells back at him, telling him that Rey, whom he is trying to kill, is his brother. Kai then boastfully tells them that he doesn't care about brotherhood because he is there to show Ry just how crazy His power is. Kai then leaps into the air, unleashing a barrage of attacks that even affects the civilian populace in the area. Thankfully, Okiaawa's barrier is there to keep the civilians safe. And since he is protecting the civilians in the area, he can't help Rey and Kurahashi. Ray then screams at his brother, telling him that
he is aware that he is violent, but at the same time, he doesn't expect him to go this far. Kai makes fun of Ray's naivity, Telling him that he is going to crush him. Kai then hurls a barrage of magic blasts at the team. Kai boastfully talks about how amazing his power is and Ray tells the team that they need to stop Kai. Kurahashi immediately takes this to heart and his expression changes. Apparently, Kurahashi has seen that it is a waste of time talking to Kai. Kurashi leaps toward Kai with the intention of blowing him
to bits. Kurahashi successfully lands his attack, Leaving a cloud of flames. However, when the fire clears off, Kurahashi realizes that Kai had successfully blocked his attack. By the time Kurahashi realizes that Kai is out of bounds, Kai has pushed his hand into his chest. Ray screams out Kurahashi's name as Kai throws him to the ground, but he gets no response. Ry continues screaming Kurahashi's name without doing anything. And just as Kai is about to finish Kurashi off, Oiawa joins the fight. He Blocks Kai's attack with his barrier and he protects Kurahashi, too. Oawa expresses his
disappointment at how far Kai has fallen and he lets him know that it is time he faces his wrath. Without hesitation, Oiawa unleashes his barrier magic, the square box, to keep Kai in. Yuri tries telling Oiawa not to use this skill because using the skill against a human will put a lot of burden on the caster. Oawa lets Yuri know that he is aware of this, but he can't forgive Kai Because he has hurt his friends already. Oiawa continues closing Kai in, but he soon realizes that the skill is taking too much toll on him.
In under a minute, Oiawa's hands started gushing out blood. Oiawa realizes that things are harder than he expected because he didn't expect to take this much damage. However, he is determined to seal Kai no matter what. Suddenly, Kai unleashes a bulkload of energy from his body, ultimately shattering Oawa's barrier as He makes fun of them that he has no intention of letting things go their way. Kai then talks about how his body is not in perfect condition yet. Yuri is shocked when she hears this because Oawa didn't even hold back, but Kai is still able
to move as if nothing happened. Kai then turns around saying he is leaving. However, he lets Ray know that the next time he meets him, he is going to kill him. This is Kai's last word as he flies away, leaving Ry questioning all of his Life choices. The next day, the news of the attack spread around the country. Even though the mages were there to help, the civilians could not help but mention just how messy everything turned out to be. The civilians in other regions are also worried that monsters might just start appearing anywhere. Some
even believe that evacuating to places where there are fewer dungeons would help them. Without a doubt, Oiawa could see that society is starting to Fall into panic. However, the major issue they are facing is Kai falling to the dark side. He starts wondering what it is they can do before it all goes to Meanwhile, Ya, Yuri, and Ray are watching over Kurashi at the hospital, and Rey looks all sad because he blames himself for what happened. He is mad at himself for not being able to stop Kai, or at least stop him, which ended up
in Kurahashi getting gutted. Yuri then tells Rey that they need to go because Hojo is calling for them. Moments later, they arrive at Hojo's palace, and he lets them know that they might have reduced the monsters, but they can't allow Kai to continue roaming freely. The team members then ask Hojo what they are supposed to do, and Hojo reveals that he has spoken with the other primary color kings. Ya is confused when she hears this, and Yuri explains to her that they are the ones who have the power to call the shots in such an
Emergency situation. Deep down, Yuri is worried because the whole situation has the other kings threatened. Hojo then mentions that their plan might sound harsh, but they have all decided to subjugate Kai. Rey is shocked when he hears this because this is a term used for monsters. Oiawa cuts in saying the term used for Kai is correct because Kai has committed a lot of indiscriminate acts which is why the other kings came to this conclusion. They have coldly Agreed to this to prevent further casualties. Apparently, they have figured out where Kai is hiding and Hojo lets
them know that he is going to personally participate in the raid. Ray starts sweating in fear, asking if there is any other way without subjugating Kai, but Hojo says no. He reminds Ry that Oawa's square box was even useless against Kai and they can't just sit around to let things be. Hojo lets Ry know that the decision has been made Already and Kai will be subjugated the following day. Even though Ry knows that Kai has his bad sides, he knows that his brother has his good sides, too, leaving him to wonder if there is really
no other way. Just then, Oiawa brings out his phone because he received a text. He lets the team know that Kurahashi has regained consciousness and this sends a wave of relief to the entire team. Kurahashi also sends a message to Ry telling him not to worry about him but Get his together so he can knock some sense into his brother. Kurahashi's words are enough to tell Ry that he can't give up because he has to set things right since Kai is his younger brother. Ry then asks Hojo if he can give him a chance. He
knows that Kai is dangerous, but he believes that there is a possibility to set things right. Hojo lets Ry know that the subjugation of Kai begins the next afternoon, but he lets Ry know that he can do anything he wants To before then. Ry is relieved to hear this and he thanks Hojo for the chance. Surprisingly, A and Yuri say they are going to join Ry because they were at his party before they joined the apostles. Hojo sigh when he hears this, but he can't stop them. So, he just tells them that they are free
to go. However, he lets them know that the deadline is the afternoon of the next day, making sure that they are aware that there is no extension. Ray looks Into the sky as he vows to get his brother back. Later on, Ry and his team make their way to an island near southern Tokyo where Kai is said to be hiding. Moments later, they run into Oawa and it dawns on Ry that Oawa is there to watch Rey. Oiawa confirms this, saying he is following Hojo's orders. He mentions that it is his job to watch the
island and also to participate in subjugating Kai with the rest of the apostles. Because of this, he can't Participate in whatever Rey is about to do, but instead, he passes on the barrier skill to him. Ry smiles when he realizes that Hojo intentionally sent them to the island on time. Ry then thanks Okawa, assuring him that he is going to bring Kai back. As he leaves, Okawa tells Ry that he is not sure Kai is going to listen to him. And because of this, he does one more thing for Rey. Meanwhile, Kai's mental health continues
to dwindle and he regresses so hard Because he hates the fact that people don't understand him. Kronos's thoughts seep into his mind, telling him to destroy everything and stop worrying. Kronos also realizes that Kai is still trying to fight back and he decides to interfere further. Kronos then releases more power into Kai's body, unleashing a huge light beam into the sky. Ray and his party members can see this overwhelming light from where they are, and it tells them that something is Really going down. Overflowing with dark energy, Kai declares that the power is overwhelming. Kronos
then tells him that he is free to rule the world as he wishes. He also urges him to destroy everything and kill the mages so he can become the demon king. Moments later, Ry and the girls run into Kai, who starts laughing at them. He reveals his disappointment that Ry didn't come with the blue king. Ray then tells Kai that Hojo trusted him to bring Kai back. This Pisses Kai off, and he tells Ry that he is going to destroy him and his party. Kai unleashes a powerful blast from his body that even Rey struggles
to block. Ry can see that there is a significant difference in Kai's power from yesterday already. Kai leaps into the air, declaring war on humanity while telling Ry that he is going to start with him. Just then, Rey tells him that he is still the same selfish dude that he is, and because of this, he is going to face Him. Ray lets Kai know that he is his older brother, which makes it his duty to stop whatever it is that he is doing. Kai laughs when he hears Ry say it is his duty to stop
him. Kai lets him know that what he just said has pissed him off, and the girls can clearly see that Kai has no intentions of listening to them. Ry unleashes a powerful fire spell that immediately cuts Ray off from the rest of his team so that he can get Ray to face him one-on-one with the Intention of proving his power to him. Ry laughs at Kai, asking him if the only reason he fights is to prove his power to him. Kai then replies, telling Ry that there is no way he would understand, but he lets
him know that power is justice. He mentions that everyone's attitude toward him changed when he got his power, and this is because everyone respects power. Kai mentions that no one will acknowledge them if they don't have the power to Back it up. Kai tells Ry that his opinion about him changed after their duel, which is why he is willing to make everything clear to him. Kai then cooks up a large magic blast and it dawns on Ry that he can't use mere skill to block this because it is far stronger than yesterday's. Ry then faces
the magic blast with the abyss flame to properly dispel it. Kai recognizes the spell as the one Ray used during their duel. This pisses him off more and he lets Ry know That he is going to crush him. However, Ry leaps toward him, telling him that he is not going to allow him. Ry believes that getting close would give him the edge, but he almost loses his head to Kai's giant claws. Thankfully, Okawa's barrier skill comes into play to protect Ry from dying early on in the fight. Ry then capitalizes on this to land a
significant blow to Kai's body, sending him flying into the distance. The girls watch in patience, trying to see if Rey Has managed to defeat Kai. During their close encounter, Ry notices that he can't steal Kai's power, leaving him to wonder if his transformation has something to do with it. However, he is hoping that the attack he just landed did something. The dust clears off and Rey sees Kai standing in the distance with an energy ball in his chest. Kai stays motionless while trying to understand why everyone on the team chose to follow Rey and even
trusted him With their powers. In addition, he holds his head in frustration, wondering why Rey is trying to stop him. Trying not to lose to his emotions, Kai unleashes a power surge from his body again, shocking Ry. He knows that Kai currently doesn't have the overclock, so it is shocking that he is able to use that many skills. Kai wastes no time conjuring a bunch of blasts which he aims directly at Ray, ready to blast him to bits. Ray watches as the magic blasts Descend upon him and without moving it leaves a massive shock wave.
Kai celebrates when he sees this, believing that he has already. He starts trash talking about how Ry is stupid to believe he wants to school him as his older brother when he is nothing compared to his power. Suddenly, Ray's voice emerges from the blast site, telling Kai that despite his victory, he sounds very sad. Kai is shocked when he realizes that Rey was able to survive His attack thanks to Kurahashi's power. With his body covered in flames, Ray tells Kai that he is not going to allow him to fall to the dark side because he
is going to bring him back. Kai, on the other hand, is still surprised that Ry managed to block his demon lance attack with Kurashi's AoE skill. Before coming to the island, Ry had visited Kurahashi at the hospital and Kurahashi told Ry to take his power because he clearly couldn't fight in his current state. Now That he has awakened Kurashi's power, Ry tells Kai that it is time that they get down to business. He sends a powerful punch at Kai, pushing him backwards. And when he thinks he is safe, Ray follows through with Yuri's skill, mono
compression. Kai is pissed off when he sees this again. But Ry doesn't stop there. He continues firing off attacks after attacks, sending Kai back on his ars. Even Kai can't believe that he is taking so much damage from a single Fireball. Moments later, Ry decides to chill out with the incessant attacks, and this is when he realizes that Kai is still pretty much active. Kai starts laughing maniacally, talking about how he finally remembers why he can't use his overclock skill. He has finally figured out that Rey can use many skills because he has the ability
to steal others power from them. Kai then tells Ry that he is basically saying he agrees with sacrificing others since he doesn't Mind stealing their power. Ry disagrees, telling him that he is wrong, but Kai decides to tell Ry something that he doesn't know. Kai mentions that two of his comrades died and this is all thanks to the fact that Ry stole his overclock after he lost the skill. His party didn't remain the same and this is all thanks to Ry stealing other people's skills. Kai tells Ry that he is basically saying he is fine
with sacrificing others as long as he gets Him to be stronger. Ry tries to argue, but there is nothing coming to his head to use as a point against what Kai just said. It starts to dawn on Rey that he never thought about the fact that stealing Kai's power would result in the death of his comrades. Ry then decides that he has to change how he uses the power in the future or else Kronos is going to get the chance to destroy humanity. Ry remains motionless as he racks his brain about all of these and
Kai senses this. Kai uses the opportunity to dash toward him, punching him while telling him that it is already too late to start regretting. Kai continues dealing a series of blows at Ry, but Ry doesn't even make an attempt to retaliate. Kai talks about how he and Ry are the same because they are always thinking about each other's interests. Ry still doesn't reply or even fight back until Kai punctures his chest with his hand. Kai is shocked to see Ry Standing still and not fighting back. Ry then touches his brother's hand, apologizing for stealing overclock
from him. Just then, Ry returns the skill to him and he tells Kai that he might have stolen power from him, but at the same time, the essence of having power is to protect others. A massive energy wave from Ray's body pushes Kai backwards and Rey tells Kai that he also needs power, but what he is doing is totally wrong. In a surprising turn of events, Ray's Body starts to glow thanks to the powers he has received from his comrades. Ray tells Kai that everyone entrusted their power to him, and he lets Kai know that
this is exactly how he plans to unite the power. Ray gets the powers under control, and from it, he whips out a sword with an overwhelming aura. Kai watches in shock and fear as the atmosphere around Ray's body changes. Ry then points his sword at Kai, telling him that it is time for them to end Things. Well guys, that's the end of the video.
