okay right figured out how to make sure we can properly track models and things that we install from lovable onto our existing customers clients or our own websites it's actually not too difficult I've done it within Squarespace here just as a as a as a particularly easy channel to work with so let's have a look at the scenario so this diagram really excellent diagram explains the situation on my client Squarespace website which is obviously what that represents there is a lovable ey frame so there is an embedded lovable experience sat on my Squarespace website when
users perform things within that lovable web app whatever you want to call it it shouts events out it pushes an event out into code Squarespace is listening that's what these ears are doing through some code that I've injected into it for these events and when it hears them it is shouting them further up to Google tag manager who's being triggered and triggering certain tags that tell analytics 4 and Google ads that key events or conversions or just events have been fired so running through what we need to do to make that happen there's sequence of
prompts so the first prompt here is just what I use to create my lovely little accessibility bathroom pricing calculator for this client he wants to have this on his website I want Google ads to tell me if people are actually using this CU we're paying for people to come to this site and um to get a ballpark figure and then hopefully to hit this button boom get a consultation so that's the prompt that we used to feed that in then I had to go back into lovable and essentially say look I need you to use
post message to send events when you hear these things happen or when you see these things happen when the user clicks start now when the user finishes when the user clicks to final call to action I want those events to come out now I didn't know how to write this I just asked GPT it's here for you to use as a kind of you can use this to help with the prompting um and it did it no problem so so it just said yeah okay I can go away and do that within Squarespace then I
had to inject in the footer code a listener listener is listening for these events being triggered so when it looks in the console it's looking for form started it's looking for results unlocked it's looking for consultation requested when it sees those events happen it is pushing them onto the data layer with the same event name Google tag manager is what is looking at the data layer and it is waiting to be triggered on the appearance of those three events results unlocked form start consultation requested those triggers fire three tags or as many tags as we
want a Google analytics for event for each of those three and a Google ads conversion for the main one to create the Google ads conversion I had to go into Google ads and create that as a conversion within here and get the tag setup stuff so the conversion ID and conversion label and that is it that is the sequence we've gone through the diagram is actually pretty accurate Squarespace is doing the listening lovable sending out events to the console log Square space is listening grabbing them pushing those events to the data layer tag manager is
being triggered and then sending out tags really simple process actually when you use if you use my prompts here as a guide to get this working for you we can create all of these things we can stick them on websites under ey frames we can put all this conversion tracking and we can pump ads to them over and over again now what we can see is how simple it is to go from idea to execution with full tracking to validate that idea really quickly with paid traffic or SEO or social or the no code subreddit
you can really quickly understand what's working what's not and most importantly if you're running pay traffic we can give Google and meta accurate conversion data which is the most essential thing these days for pushing performance and improving that over time by feeding good data back to the ad channels thanks very much let me know if this works for you I'll share this Miler note thing so you can take a look at it and give me a shout I'm really Keen to see what you guys are up to with these tools
