[Music] one point will be added to any takeown or reversal once the the athletes are on their feet and the opponent is lifted above his hip line his feet are lifted off of the ground or his head goes below his feet and his feet come into the air I'll show some examples uh there's several of them uh one of them could be a map return so maybe I just get towards my opponent's side and I lift him up and then Place him down so now if I control the turtle this is uh going to be
two points after three seconds of stabilization time perhaps in the same scenario my opponent goes to his back instead of the turtle and up and he goes down right on top now after three seconds we get our two points for the taked down and one point added for high elevation so it's going to end up being three points if the uh aggressor lifts his opponent up into the air so if I want to grab a single leg on my opponent and try to go for doubles and try to go bring him down to the ground
and drag him to the ground this is not high elevation now if I were to lift my opponent up into the air and then dump him or whatnot this is this is a different situation you see I lifted him up so as referees athletes coaches parents everybody watching this is when I lift my opponent off of the ground again we're not trying to just slam people we're not trying to do illegal slams and get dced after that so you still need to be in control of your opponent when you land but the extra elevation will
earn you an extra point um just like a flare double leg I may do a regular double leg but if I get my opponent with his feet into the air and I really am able to lift his feet and flare double that's another way that you can get high elevation points there's no Li in which somebody needs to have an opponent elevated so maybe I hit a double leg and I have my opponent over my shoulder I don't have to have them in the air for any a lot of time in order for me to
get stabilization points again I don't want to get dced or anything but if I didn't have him for an instant or for 10 seconds it doesn't matter once I get on the ground I'll get my high elevation point added to my takeown point so it doesn't matter how long in the air and uh it doesn't matter how high you lift them you just have to be lifting your opponent and their hip line has to raise above their hip line in order for you to gain high elevation extra added point to your take down or reversal
